And feeling a little lazy this morning, but I've got a day full of stuff to do, so I need to kick myself in the rear and get going doing it. Hope everyone has a great day out there. KI-7 ZEI. Alright, thank you, Tim. Yeah, I think it is going to be a nice, another nice day. This is, it's been nice, it's been really nice. Kilo 9, Echo Charlie Kilo, good morning. Hello, good morning, Bill. Good to be here with everybody. We are on our way to the vet with our cat, and so we thought we'd see if we could get into the net. Everybody have a great day. K-0, E-C-K, clear. All right, thank you. And I don't envy you taking the cat to the vet. At least our cats were not very happy about that trip. All right, hope it all goes well. K-9, B-D-C, morning, Brooks. Good morning, Bill and everyone on the net. K-9, B-D-C, Brooks here, Mobile 405 North in Bothell, headed up to Linwood today. Let's see, happy Tuesday, everyone. I'm in the middle of a project in the home office, but getting everything out of the office so that we can take the popcorn ceiling down and get the walls painted. And then I've got some new desks and new cabinets put back in there, so kind of a little office remodel, which is kind of part two of, you know, we had done that earlier in the front room, in the hallway, in the kitchen and stuff. So that's what we got going on now. And then looking forward to this weekend, the rain or shine net over at Green Lake, the ice cream social should be a ton of fun. So thanks for using that, Bill. 7-3, everyone. K-9, B-D-C. All right, thank you, Brooks. Yeah, fun with that remodel. Boy, the popcorn ceiling. I remember that in a previous house many, many years ago. We'd been here for a long time. Had popcorn ceilings that we did not like, got rid of. And boy, it sure made it look better and more up with the times, more than anything. So have fun with it and enjoy the freeway. WA-7AD. Good morning, Michael. Good morning to you, Bill. This is Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta. Michael just near downtown Kirkland. And hello to everybody listening on the net. It looks like it's going to be a lovely day here, Bill. It's about 60, 61 already. Mostly clear skies. This looks lovely out. I got a few little errands I'm going to do in the morning. And I'm going to start packing for the Bigfoot 200. And I leave there Friday morning. We camped out for four or five nights, I think it is, in the mountains with our radio here helping communicate. So that's all that's going on here. Thanks for on the net. You sound great, as usual. Everybody have a safe day. And remember, it's a good day to have a good day. Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta. All right. Well, you have a good day also. Safe day. And enjoy your coffee. And let's see. You said 61, 54 in Clearview already. And it's supposed to get up to 74, I noticed, on the forecast. So kind of a mild day, but a pretty one. And the sun is shining. And when I looked at the weather forecast last evening, there was rain coming. We need some rain. All right. Thank you, Michael. V01 UKZ. Good morning, Daryl. Good morning to you, Bill. And hello to Gail in there earlier. Just saw a correction on Gail's call sign. It's K0 ECK, I do believe. Unless I'm mistaken. Kilo zero, equi-terally kilo. But either way, I hope you're having a good day. Hope everybody out there is having a good day. We got a beautiful one up here, man. It's a nice, cool 70 degrees. Well, cool or warm, whatever way you want to look at it. Here in Newfoundland, it's rather warm. You know, for the summer, we've been having it anyway. Temperatures have been way down. Even after the icebergs pulled offshore or melted or whatever they do, the temperatures just didn't get much warmer than 70 degrees. So we had yesterday as well, I believe, 70 or 71. But it's been nice and sunny. We've got a couple of massive wildfires burning on the island here right now, which is never good. When that happens, we got smoke into the city here and a couple of big ones going in Conception Bay North. We had a fire ban on here for the last month or two. And the province lifted the fire ban for the weekend. And now all of a sudden, we've got a whole bunch of wildfire, or two big wildfires going here. So hopefully, they don't cause any deaths. That's always the worst. Property can be replaced. But when it comes to human lives, that's not something you can take for granted. Anyhow, you have a great day. Everybody on board. Same from here on the rock. This is E01, UKZ. All right. Thank you, Dale. And yeah, these wildfires are, well, they're dangerous, first off. And it's a shame that we have to deal with them. But on the other hand, I guess they're part of nature. And it's forests and brush land renewing itself. But boy, it can cause a lot of damage if they're not under control. And we got a bunch of them here in the Northwest. Nothing anywhere near us but near Dave, who is next up here. And so anyway, thank you, Darrell. This is W7PAS with the 9 o'clock net, KD7. Pop up whiskey, bravo. Morning, Dave. Well, good morning, Bill. And to everybody on the net, hi to Darrell. They're on the rock. And boy, yeah, I can definitely identify with wildfires. The last time we had was way, way too close, especially with bombers like right over the top of the house. So there you go. Anyway, I got a beautiful day shaping up here in the high desert. We're going to hit about 82 today, and just gorgeous. Sunny and nice and warm. Oh, man, looking forward to a nice day. Got a little shopping to do, but and then it's into the wood shop. And I've been getting a couple of neat pieces of landscape Jasper on the rock saw, so that's been kind of fun. And so while it's doing its thing, I can be working on guitars. Yeah, kind of a combination of all kinds of stuff going on in the shop today. So with that, I will say 73s and get at it. So all the chores of the day. Well, 73s, thanks for doing the net, Bill. Hi to Karen there, of course. And we will catch you later. K87, Pop up whiskey, bravo, Dave, the high desert pirate radio. All right, thank you, Dave. And yeah, those fires are getting pretty close to you. I was looking at the fire map yesterday or day before. And that one that's, oh, let's see, where was it? East of you, a ways, looked like it was getting close. All right, thank you, Dave. And hi to Sam. All right, this is the 9 o'clock map for a Tuesday morning. More check-ins, please. K87, PDZ. Morning, Jim. K7, PDZ. Next, please. Alpha India 6, X-ray Delta. Alpha India 6, X-ray Delta. Morning, Les. Yeah, I just got up a little bit ago here, and I'm looking, you know, opening the slats on the sliding glass door. And it's nice and sunny outside and 64 degrees right now. Yeah, I'm watching a volcano eruption on a Kilauea volcano that's really shot up a lot of lava. And it's pretty amazing to watch. It's been doing that off and on like forever. And a bunch of people out there watching it. It was pretty impressive. They shoot the lava up about 1,000 feet in the air, which is a new record. I just got going here. Got this weather station here that I have up. Anyway, it's a long story, but for some reason, I can't figure out how it does the pressure, barometric pressure. It seems like it just does random things with it. So I think it just will for show, but more for than really anything that's useful. But anyway, yeah, no squirrels yet. I put some peanuts out there. And usually they come later on. So we'll see when they get there. Now with that, back to net, AB6MB. This is repeater station kilo kilo 7, November, Quebec, November, all star node 622. OK, thank you, Jeff. Located in Shelton, Washington. Well, that's interesting. Our temperature is about the same as yours. And even more interesting was Jim over in eastern Washington, where it should be warmer. It was about the same as ours. So kind of interesting. Well, thank you, Jeff. Oh, the volcano, yeah, I was reading about that. I didn't realize it was setting records. But they've had that volcano going for a long time. People are probably getting kind of used to it and blase about it. And it could take a giant burp and cause some major damage. It did that a while back, I guess. Anyway, Hawaii is doing what it does, moving down the plate. And more of our new volcanoes start. Yeah, it's kind of fascinating. All right, thank you, Jeff. This is the 9 o'clock tap. This is W7PAS. More check-ins, please. KC2STO with an IO. Have a great day. Bye-bye. All right, thank you, Charlie. KC2STO with an IO. That rhymes nicely. OK, next check-in, please. Morning, Chip. Well good morning there Bill and everybody out there today. Yeah, we're, uh, it's a kind of cool day here at the lake, at least starting out the morning. It's only 62, and uh, it's a little kind of thin, thin layer of clouds, and so we're supposed to have rain tomorrow. So we'll see how that goes. We can certainly use it here. We're like 20% blown, or 80%, we only have 20% of the rainfall we're supposed to have for most of the summer, so it's really super dry over here. And so we'd love that, and kind of get some of these fires under control. Plus, we had a rash this morning, or overnight, of some arson fires in the Spokane area. So, uh, anyway, that's, uh, yeah, I wish it would rain hard, weigh everything down. Uh, other than that, not much going on. Today I don't think we're going to get any water. Today is a little, uh, really windy out there, and so it's not going to warm up much today, I don't think. So, anyway, that's all. I just wanted to get in here and say good morning, and uh, we'll talk to everybody later. This is Jim and Jane at Deer Lake, K7, PDZ. Alright, thank you Jim, and Jim and Jane at Deer Lake. Well, you said it's 62 there, and uh, I just looked, and it's uh, 60, uh, 62 here right at the moment. And, for some reason, my weather thing went to Lake Stevens, which is not that far north of us, but they're two degrees warmer. Interesting. Alright, yeah, these fires get over your way for sure, and I know there's a big fire at the, uh, kind of the north end of Lake Chelan, that's probably laying smoke down all over the place. Um, we drove up to Anacortes on Sunday, and they had a bird festival, which was really cool. But anyway, we drove up there on the way back, uh, clear skies here, but very definitely smoke up over the Cascades. This is the station Kilo Kilo 7 November, Quebec, November. All-Star Note 62.2, located at Chelsea. Alright, thank you Jim. AI6XD, good morning. Thank you, AI6XD here. Uh, yeah, it's a beautiful day down here in Burien. I'm just wrapping up a test that I've been doing over the last week with my HF radio. I've got a multiband antenna set up in my backyard, and I've had a time-lapse camera pointed at the radio, uh, so I can sort of see what time of day each of the bands are good, and, uh, my takeaway is 7pm. So I thought that was very interesting. Thank you, AI6XD. Alright. Boy, there's just so many cool things to play with on the computer and on your phone. Um, yeah, I enjoy that. There's some pretty useful things. Plus I read a lot of, uh, and I check e-books out from the library and read them on my laptop or on my phone. Alright, this is the 9 o'clock net for a Tuesday morning. Over to Scotland. M-M-0-R-K-N. Good morning. M-M-0-R-K-N. We're coming. Yeah, very good morning to everybody on the net. And, yes, thanks for saying good morning. It's almost evening here in Scotland. And quite a busy day today. I've been working today and watching my son, who's nine years old. He's thankfully coming to the end of his school holidays, uh, within the next week and a half, so he's definitely leaving back to the routine, as am I. But, um, we had a bit of a storm yesterday, and thankfully the storm didn't cause any damage, but we did have strong winds and heavy rain in Scotland and across the UK yesterday. And, um, it caused quite a lot of travel disruption. Most of the trains, ferries and buses and all that sort of thing were cancelled. But thankfully things are getting back to normal today. Still a little bit windy, but still 18 degrees Celsius. And thankfully not much rain today, so not a lot to complain about, so that's always good here. Anyway, thanks to net control for letting me check in. This is Mike, Mike-0, Romeo, Kilo, November, depending on your back to net control. Alright, thank you. And, uh, yeah, thank you for joining us. I believe you've been here before, and it's always great to hear from you. Well, plans change, don't they? Uh, get, uh, all the, everything planned, ready to go, and then some, some, something comes along, and, uh, all of a sudden you're rewriting the schedule, or, yeah, rewriting chores or whatever. Glad to hear that everything's back to normal for you. Alright, this is the 9 o'clock net for a Tuesday morning. This is W7PAS. All right. KD7, Papa Whiskey Bravo. Good morning, Dave. Well, good morning, Bill. I'm Hidacarron there and everybody on the net. Great to hear everyone this morning. Well, we got kind of a rainy, drizzly kind of morning here. We did have a bit of a thunderstorm last night, but it was well off to the east of us. And so tonight, well, this afternoon, they're saying more thunderstorms possible and some rain and that kind of thing. So like can you say, it's a little bit cooler out. We're only up to about 70 degrees now. So and our height is supposed to be in the low 80s. So definitely a little cooler weather for today and tomorrow. So we'll see what happens. And cooler, still on the week, staying cool through the weekend. But we should be back in the sunny conditions. So that'll be nice. And let's see, got a little shopping to do today. So yeah, got to get that done. And then it's hanging out in the wood shop and get back to work on these guitars I've got. So it's down to polishing and then putting the bridge on them and getting the setup done and all that fun stuff. So there you go. Anyway, I just have to say hi. And I will say bye and turn it back. Thanks for doing that Bill. I'll turn it back to you. 27 Papa Whiskey Bravo Dave, behind Desert Pirate Radio. All right, thank you, Dave. And drizzle there, that's interesting. Well, we haven't had any rain here in, I don't know, quite a while. And I don't know what the forecast is for today. I haven't looked yet. It says partly sunny. But well, that probably tells the story, actually. Currently 64 degrees here. Well, let's see, yes. And shopping to do and shop time. Sounds like you got lots going on today. Thank you, Dave. So that should be a lovely time over there this weekend. Kind of bummed, I'm not sure. My mom was supposed to come on this trip with us, and I'm not sure if she's going to get to her mom. My grandma is not doing super well. So I'm not really sure how it's gonna play out, but she told us to go and have fun anyways. And, yeah, it's a very, very gray day out there and looks like it's been raining or maybe is currently raining. A good day to be inside. Good day to have a fire in the fireplace if you had a fireplace that was active. Shut both the bars down several years ago. This is W7VAS, by the way. Be careful with those batteries. Anybody playing with batteries, you can get into some pretty bad situations with batteries catching fire. I've seen some pictures of places where batteries have exploded and such. But if you know what you're doing, I mean, somebody's gotta know what they're doing because they built these batteries and we in the sub they certainly rely on batteries and as individuals we rely on batteries and so many things that we use. So anyway, be careful with batteries. We had a wonderful Christmas, family get together, immediate family, our big family get together was Thanksgiving but immediate family got together and enjoyment and presents under the tree and all of that stuff. And fun to watch our granddaughter, a five-year-old, who, very excited about Christmas. Anyway, we were supposed to have one last get together today and then, fortunately, or fortunately, one way or the other, Carolyn and I are both ready for some downtime. Just turned the radio on a few minutes ago, So I'm not sure, or I've missed any threads that have been discussed on the battery issue. This is W7PAS, and yeah, enjoy the weekend."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-24T11:27:54+00:00","id":94714,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":94713,"text":"to you and to everyone. Yeah, and yeah, you were mentioning something about I've been hearing about those Net of glasses that have been going around and I think they're pretty spendy They got to be at least two or three hundred bucks or something like that I mean, I'm not trying to quote a right price or anything but I thought about I wouldn't mind trying some of those on you that might enhance what I'm able, it might enhance my, how do they call it, what's the word, it might enhance my mobility a little bit myself, you know, and I wouldn't mind having some of those, you know, because there's stuff I don't really see that good. I mean, I've got a fair amount of vision, but you know, I've also got the mustang that's going on and that might, those might even help out with enhanced safety on the road you know for me anyway. So anyway Missy I won't keep it long and Jeanette I really like that story that you shared on that catching that rock and you know a rock fish or a fishy type of rock there. I had about rolling out of my of care laughing over that one. That was good. Alright well anyway Missy have a good day and thank you all for being here on the net and I want to thank everybody else as I always do and I encourage everyone to keep up the good work and not only that keep coming back just like Joe said yesterday and that's why I always throw that out there because I want to encourage people to keep coming back and all that even the regulars and the newcomers as well. So with that, KC7FMW, thanks again for the net and thank you Barbara, KI7BR, thank you for the relay on that there. So with that, this is KC7YFE, we'll be sending the mic back to you. Oh wait, wait, I gotta wipe this mic down so you don't get sick there. There you go, micro-band wipes always work better than the spray. You don't get it in your coffee or all over all up in the air there in case you said why if you send it back"},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-23T17:36:41+00:00","id":91173,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":91172,"text":"Good afternoon John boy, it is just a gorgeous day. Like Jack said, there is a link to be able to do that from the website. Coming into the repeater is really the true story. Alright, everybody have a great day, a great Veterans Day. Let's see here. I should have been an I.O. but anyways, I got this little tiny laptop here, real small, that I bought about a year ago that I only used for ham radios for programming and then I figured man it would be pretty neat to use this for Echo Link but you know this laptop, the speakers in it, they're so small and the audio output is so very little you almost got to have an amplified hearing aid just to hear anything. So anyways, I bought myself one of these Anker Bluetooth speakers that hooks up to my laptop using the Bluetooth and now I got myself a stand up microphone on a pedestal, it's called an AudioPro. So now I'm able to use the Echo Link using my laptop now. But you know that's kind of funny, all these devices now they come out with these small little speakers like this 65 inch LED TV I got. It's frameless, that means the whole thing is nothing but a string and the stock out of the box, you turn up the volume, you got to turn it up all the way to even hear it. There's no room for these speakers because they're making them so thin. So now you got to buy an aftermarket speaker which I did, I bought a Vizio soundbar for it. Seems like all these devices coming out nowadays don't really come with any type of a speaker at all, so almost everything you buy nowadays you got to buy aftermarket speakers like my laptop and television. But I'm glad I got this laptop using an Echo Link now, now I can hear everybody. Pretty nice little tiny speaker, it's real small, chargeable, takes 4 hours to charge but you get 24 hours of use out of it per charge, at least that's what they say. And I hear you're leaving, are you moving, are you just not going to do the morning nets anymore, what's going on? I'm kind of curious there, this is the first time I heard about it. Back to you net control, this is KG7PX back to net."}]}
