I'm not sure what happened there, but your signal was barely, barely hitting the Capital Park Master, and we literally heard probably the cumulative total of half a second of, I could hear your voice just barely blipping in like three different times. Other than that, we did not catch any of your report. So let me just right away see if you dumped power or see if there's something you can change in your situation and see if I can get you to do a quick test real quick. KA9EHV, please come back if you can. This is KA9EHV, is this better? You might end a different, you're lighting up the voter scope in bright green. So okay, so I will just say this, can you repeat everything you just said? Because we literally got zero percent. So Anne, please give us a report. Okay, I stand humiliated. This is KA9EHV, what I said is I went to a harp circle today and it was great fun, there were lots of neat people and neat harps there, and people played a lot of interesting repertoire. It wasn't like the last circle where everybody else played beautiful Celtic, very ornamented stuff. And I came in with It's Too Late by Carole King and Cats of the Cradle by Harry Chapin. This time people played everything from Broadway show tunes to some popular stuff and it was really nice. And so I ended up playing Yeasen Joann of Man's Desiring, my Beethoven mashup, and hang on a second. Okay, I'm still in there. My Beethoven mashup is a little bit different. My Beethoven mashup and my When You Walk Through a Storm from Carousel. So it was fun and I got to show off my cute little harp to people and prove that small harps are small but mighty and that was fine. Had to miss church, but apparently according to my husband I didn't miss much, so that's fine also. Anyway, that's about it for now. 73, 33, 88 to all of you. This is, I love you all and thanks, Brian, to you for doing the net. This is KA9H, be back to net. Good stuff and good signal there. So it sounds like maybe you bumped the power or something was going on there. All right, well very glad that you're okay as you're able to come in and give a lovely report there. So it sounds fun with that harp circle, Broadway tunes and pop music, that sounds fantastic. And then you with your Izu and your Beethoven mashup and small but mighty I wrote down. And then I wrote the quote from your husband, didn't miss much. All right, I just chuckled at that. All right, anyway, it sounds like a great day and thank you for sharing. We'll catch you down the log there, Ann. All right, that was the bottom of the list there. I am Brian, KE7KZH. This is the 9 o'clock net on the PSRG repeater in Seattle, Washington. Let's open this up to all stations. I will acknowledge each station one at a time. So if you hear someone else giving their call sign, please, please wait for me to acknowledge them. Otherwise I may double with you. And then that just wastes everyone's time. So all right, that's it. All stations, please come now. Call sign and first name. 7L, your family experience will go double for you, Mike. Robert with... ...Juliet 7, Romeo Alpha Bravo, hey! All right, I think I may have actually had a triple there, but I did get W7LCO, Josh, Willco. I also got KJ7JXM, Robert, and KJ7RAB, Kimmy. Now let me just check, was there a third station, or fourth, if you say, was there another station in that mix that I did not acknowledge? Yeah, probably me, I might have been in that pileup. Wolf. All right, I heard a K, and then I heard Sean, KJ7EXM. Sean Wolf. Who was the other K station that keyed up? KJ7, with Lueckenia, Matt, Liven, RF, All-Star Note 6222, located in Shelton, Washington. Matt is back in RF land. I love it, KJ7WQI. All right, good stuff. All right, so I actually have you right before Sean, because I did hear your key up first there, and I already wrote a K. All right, so let's see who else is out, who would like to get in on this round. Please come now, call sign and first name. Kilo Alpha, Joseph Romeo Alpha, Cody, your IO. All right, KE6RAX, Peter, I've got your IO. Cody, just wanted to double check, Alpha, Golf 7, Lima, Rodeo, did you say IO, or do you have a report tonight? I am IO, KJ7LR. Hey, good stuff. Remember, there's a double, I try to confirm. Every time I don't confirm that, it bites me. All right, good stuff, Cody. We'll catch you down the log, and thanks for stopping by, Peter, KK6RAX. Someone will come in and talk about some relevant council, but I just think of like, a council making plans, making plans to have Swedish pancakes two times a month. That sounds like a good plan, Bill. I feel like it's, yeah, people love talking about that. Hey, next place. But yeah, thank you so much for taking time to give a report, Bill. Appreciate it. 7-3, and have a wonderful, wonderful sleep. Next on the list is Wilco, W7LCO. AE7WE, Robert, come ahead, give us your report. Yes, good evening everyone, this is Robert, AE7WE, and I had a fun day just because I got to play on the radio all day. I was able to have some friends watch our kids as I went on a hike, I went up to Wilderness Peak and did an activation there for submits on the air. That was a lot of fun to make good contacts all the way up to Olympia and North as far as Kamino Island, so that was a lot of fun. At home, I have a new antenna that I've been playing around with, it's a Comet GB6, and I had it basically at ground level for the last few days, but today I got a couple poles and got it up 20 feet in the air so I could listen on the Simplex net, and that was a lot of fun, I heard so many people. Joel was just on here, I heard him very well, I could hear the host all the way down to Burien, and one station at Granite Falls, so it was amazing, I'm happy I got this antenna. So that's just what I want to talk about, I'm going to send it back to net, AE7WE. AE7WE, Robert, thank you, well I'm going to make a note of that antenna Comet, I think it's a GP6, sounds like it got great performance. Just two questions for you, I don't know where Wilderness Peak is, can you just give us an idea, and how high were you and what band were you on? I will try to answer the best I can, Wilderness Peak is on Cougar Mountain, kind of, I think it's off of exit 13 on I-90, and I think it's about 1300 feet, I'm not entirely sure, so it's a good elevation, but it's not a super high elevation, and I was doing 2 meter FM. Very good, sounds like a perfect day for it, not too hot, not too cold, just right. Very good, thank you so much. Who else wants to join us tonight, this is a 9pm PSRG social net, my name is Bill, K7WFP, come ahead with your call sign and name. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November Quebec November, All Star Node 6... WA6 ABC, Whiskey Alpha 6, Alpha Bravo Charlie, Michael in Rockaway Beach. Michael, we have you on the list, let's see who else wants to join us, call sign and name please. W7LCO, I just had a question. W7LCX, what's your question? My question was for Joan about that thing that records the, some kind of wave analyzer that does other things, I was just wondering if you could ask her to say with a model number or whatever I would Google to find out more about that, because that seems super interesting. Thank you, W7LCX. W7LCX, well let's bounce right back to Joan, see if we can get a very quick answer from her and then continue with the net. Joan, can you help us out there? Blatantly, let me turn down the talk back. Well believe it or not, it is a Star Trek the Original Series hero prop tricorder manufactured by the Wanda Company. They have a reputation for making the finest, most accurate hero props. They started like, you know, 16 years ago making a Harry Potter wand that was actually an infrared controller."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-05T21:33:40+00:00","id":14404,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":14403,"text":" Okay, I got Don W7JSM, I got Brooks K9VDC, and Megan K9MLR. That's a pretty good list. I'm going to go ahead and draw a line. Let's head back up to the top and head to Wilco with P7, Leemar Tilly, Oscar. I believe you said you were mobile. Come ahead. Hi there, Cammie. Thanks for checking in. Yes, I am mobile. I'm on my way back from, well, two different areas. I went to the gym and I went to shoot some pool at Nine Pound Hammer in Georgetown with my mate. And then I went to pick up a set of glass Pyrex food storage containers from Facebook Marketplace out in Redmond. So, I'm on my way back to Redmond now. About to get on I-90 and head home to the boat. Still have not fixed my water leak there, but I don't really feel like working on that tonight. So, I'll probably just be chilling and listening to the net on my way home. And, yeah, I'll send it back to you. 73 is everyone out there. W7, LCO. Well, boots are all very good things. I haven't been to Nine Pound Hammer for a very, very long time. I do enjoy that place. I like that whole neighborhood, as a matter of fact. So, it sounds like you had a nice time there. And then you said you picked up some Pyrex off of Facebook Marketplace. Is it the newer Pyrex or did you get some vintage Pyrex? I'm going to send it back to you, W7, LCO. You know, I don't know the year on these. They didn't look exceptionally new or old. They have the plastic snap clips, they have a little rubber gasket in it, and the glass bottom. So, yeah, I'm not too sure what the cutoff is there. But anyway, maybe you can explain more about that. Back to you, W7, LCO. Good stuff. Yeah. Well, there's a lot of Pyrex out there. But I think that, and I'm blanking on which one is which, but if you look at the way that Pyrex is written, if it's lowercase versus uppercase, it's newer or older because they changed the way they made the glass. And there's a whole lot more information on that, and I'm totally blanking now that I put myself on the spot. So, there you go. I'll have to look that up during another check-in and then come back with that info. Thanks so much for coming back with that, though, and I hope you enjoy that mobile space and all the numbers. After Wilco, we had an I-O, and that brings us to Terry in Scotland, Mike Zero Romeo Pilo November. How are you today? I'm doing well. I was doing well. Most robots, we've worked on this for a day. Now, as you know, it's a clear that I'm thinking, it's not that I'm a person, it's me. I need to know what he did, and then he did it again, and then that one, but yeah, it's amazing how he's got the nasty doing that, and yet the rest of the day, he pretty much didn't bother with me. He was off out playing with his friends, or he was on playing his robots, but yeah, it was one of those kind of days that we managed to get through it, and I did actually manage to sit in a little bit of radio time with Tyrone when I finished work as well. I found the train community of bands quite active on FP8 yesterday. Of course, I would love to do some voice contacts, but I don't have the time, yes, but I do that, and the conditions just aren't quite right for Scotland and the states at the moment, but fingers crossed, things continue to improve via Kami. But anyway, great to hear you tonight, Kami. And of course, I'm into Wednesday morning here, so start with a new day up very early, and going through these work emails. This is DC Kami, 88 in all the numbers, FP8, net control, this is Airman Zero, R10. Okay, thanks so much for stopping by. I am always thrilled to hear from you, 3388.CAT2. Wanted to let you know that we got, I would say, a good majority of your reports. At the very beginning, you were having a hard time holding the repeater, and then it cleared right up. So I wanted to give you that feedback and let you know. But thanks again for stopping by to check in with us. I'm always happy to hear from you and all the numbers. Let's see, next on the list, we have John, W7JSM. How are you this evening, John? This is repeater station Kilo Kilo, W7JSM. Hello, Kami, this is John, W7JSM. I was surprised to hear you hosted an app match, so thanks for doing that. I'm doing good. We got a big delivery here today from Home Depot. We're going to build a deck on the Donners above Crown Pool. I got all the material to do that. It probably won't start until the weekend because I need help. There's a lot of heavy stuff. It should turn out pretty good. I got it figured out to be about a 6 x 8 foot deck. And then have the ladder from the pool connecting to the wood, connecting to the top of the wood deck. That should be a much more stable area to get in. And now the pool with the wusset should have room for a couple of chairs up there too. So it should be fun. Anyway, other than that, I've just been the daily practice of guitar. I just finished about, I don't know, maybe a half hour or so ago. I actually practiced a couple different times today because I just wanted to. Anyway, it's going pretty well. And Finn has been having a lot of fun running around with my son's dog out in the yard chasing each other and wearing each other out. He is sleeping fairly content right now. Anyway, I hope everybody's having a good night and good to hear you on the net. W7, JSM. Don, I heard you talking about that delivery on an earlier net, I think. And that sounds so cool. I wish I had the knowledge and skills to build a deck. We really need something out in the backyard. Whether it be, I don't know, some blank stone or I don't know what you call those big square pieces of concrete, like stepping stones or something like that. Something that we can put down to put the little patio table on. It's sort of like a patio thing because we just got the lawn and it's a little bit uneven and not very good for sitting the table in stairs. So I'm kind of thinking about some sort of deck situation. But I think that's so far in the future. People posted on your project, that sounds amazing and I bet it's going to look beautiful. And how much fun with the pool. You take care of all the numbers and thanks for stopping by to check in. Next on the list we have Brooks, K9 BBC. How are you today Brooks? Good evening, Kami and everyone on the net. K9 BBC Brooks here in Newcastle. I'm having a pretty good day today. Had a busy day at work. In the process of getting the office all cleared out, the home office here. Because this weekend the popcorn ceiling is coming down and the paint is going up. The old desk is going away and the new desks are coming in and the new shelf is coming in. And then it's trying to figure out how to get everything set back up in a nice organized manner. As opposed to the cluttered chaos that I've been living with for some time. Now I will say it has been recently much better than it was previously. But it will be so much better than that. So looking forward to that. Busy rest of the week coming up while trying to get that done. Also be going to the Seahawks game later this week on Thursday. A friend of mine messaged me and was like, hey we got an extra ticket do you want to go? And I was like, yeah that sounds like a lot of fun. Because they're playing the Raiders and if anyone has been paying attention. Our ex-coach and quarterback went to the Raiders. So it will be Pete Carroll and Geno Smith coming back I think. So that should be fun. But yeah, that's what I got going on. Thanks for doing that. 73 K9 BBC."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-06T22:11:52+00:00","id":14817,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":14816,"text":" Alright, we'll run this short list. Will Coe, W7 LCO. Good evening, take it away. Yes, thank you for riding the net. This is Will Coe, W7 LCO. I'm on the road right now, back from another day dip in West Seattle, and that went great. Had some CalD-B skewers and Caesar salad, it was quite lovely. Not much else I can mention on the radio, but anyway, it was a great night. Had some June shine heart kombucha, that's very interesting. I think it was maybe from QFC or something like that. Anyway, that was pretty tasty. Just headed back to the boat, it's a nice temperature outside. Enjoyed the rain this morning, maybe we'll get a little bit more tomorrow I think. Not too much else is up, hopefully get some plumbing done. And eventually fix the leak in my boat. So I'll send it back to you, thanks again. 73 is everyone out there. Whiskey 7, Lima, Charlie, Oscar. Alright, good stuff there Will Coe. Sounds like you had a good time tonight out there in West Seattle. CalD-B skewers, sounds amazing. Yeah, the rain is coming, I know when I left for work this morning I walked outside and I smelled the rain and that was kind of like, ooh it's been a minute since I smelled the rain. I didn't mind it too much today. But yeah, I do like the warmer, drier weather. But sometimes we need to have rain. Anyway, good luck getting the plumbing fixed and the leak. Yep, got to get through those things eventually. Mobile safe out there, Will. Thanks for the call. Next up we've got a recheck from Amy, KB9IQX. Well thanks for taking my recheck, Brooks. And thanks to Jim for introducing us to Collywobble. That's a delightful word, very good word. I thought to myself, oh that sounds very British. And I looked it up and I was like, oh yes, it's from British. I thought to myself, oh that sounds very British. And I looked it up and I was like, oh yes, it's from British. I shall have to incorporate it into my vocabulary forthwith. Anyway, in exchange, I would like to offer the simple word yarrow. Some of us may know it as a plant. Or you know, a geographical location, yarrow point. However, I have periodically used it to indicate direction. And you use it when you want to indicate the direction of something where you're not really sure what that direction is. So you could say something like, oh yes, Smith Avenue, yes, Smith Avenue, Rongaro, burst that out for a couple of blocks before turning off. And then you just leave it at that. No further explanation is necessary. Arguably, it's more confusing than helpful. But it is funny. Maybe I'm IQX. More confusing than helpful. Yarrow, okay, I'll try to remember that one. Thanks for coming back. Glad you heard the collywobbles comment from earlier. Good stuff, Amy. Thanks for stopping by with the recheck. Alright, any more check-ins for the 9 o'clock net? Call Saturday. 4-1 November Yankee Sierra, 4-2-1, NYS, only recheck. Alright, Steven, why don't you go ahead with your recheck. 4-2-1, NYS. I'm going to Brooks Cade in PDC. I'd like to ask a question. Since your all-star load is only 4 digits, do we have to put in two extra zeros in front of it before 2-4-6-2 for those who want to come on? You know, I am not sure. I don't think so, but I'm not positive. Hold on, let's see, I'm getting... You know what, I'm not sure. Maybe if there's someone else out there that knows they can come in with the recheck. No, I think you can just do the 2-4-6-2. Okay, good night to Brooks. I will also wait for other replies. See, mostly all-star nodes are the earlier ones are 4 digits and the current ones already have 6 digits. That's why I'm curious if we have to add two additional zeros in front of 2-4-6-2 so that it would qualify. Thank you very much, Brooks. You can take a reply. I'll send it to you. Alright, thank you there, Steven. Yeah, if anyone else out there knows, maybe they can come in with a check-in and let us know. Alright, thanks for stopping by with the recheck. Any more check-ins for the 9 o'clock net? I'll sign a name. Alpha Bravo 6, Mike Bravo, recheck. Jeff, AB6MB, I have a feeling you might know the answer to Steven's question. Yeah, there's no additional digits needed. 2-4-6-2 works fine, but as more people use it, they have expanded node numbers. But, no, I just need to do 2-4-6-2 and that's it, thankfully. Back to that AB6MB. Alright, thank you so much for that clarification, Jeff. Yeah, that was what I was thinking, but my all-star node is currently packed up and not on, so I wasn't able to pull it up on my phone and look on the spot. So, thank you for that. Steven, 4D1-NYS, did you hear that response? Thanks, Brooks, and thank you, Nick Callum, for the reply. Do you need note on that? And just in case some friends of mine would come up to the all-star, I'll say to them that 4 digits is fine. Thank you, Brooks. Over to you. This is repeater station. Alright, thank you very much, Steven. Alright, 5-1-9-B, ship 10-0-7 PM. Let's do a last call for the 9 o'clock deck."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-06T22:02:16+00:00","id":14816,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":14815,"text":" Whiskey 7, India, Yankee, Tango, Oliver from Lunawood, Iowa, for now. The first Rich of this round, WB7J. Rich, how are you and your cat adventures going? Hey Rebecca, good afternoon and good afternoon to the net. And good job K3OE for jumping in there. Let's see, the cat adventure isn't so great. We had a cat meltdown in Prince George, BC. My plan had been to take this sort of prolonged road trip with the cat. And my cat, Pella, she does a great job of traveling. We've been back and forth to Mexico a few times. Now, what she hadn't done a great job of is acclimating to a new place overnight. To go to a new place in the past that's taken her three or four days to settle down. My hope is that she would adapt to a changing nightly environment. And my hopes were dashed. So I skedaddled back, I mean as far as Prince George, BC, I skedaddled back to Seattle. Puyallup really. Let her hang out in an environment she's familiar with. And then I went off to the beach at the Pacific Coast. Pacific Beach is the name of the city just north of Aberdeen, Oakley, and Meria. And I've been camped out here and it's been a cool little experiment. I've got my little lithium iron phosphate battery set up with a solar panel, a little cooler and a bridge, a big tent with a cot and a chair and a little table. I mean it's, I'm trying to emulate the RV experience without the RV expense. And it's been a fun week. I've got a couple more nights here. Then I'll head back to Puyallup, pack for Mexico and head back. That's my report, Rebecca. Thanks for doing the net. 73 is to all WBs. Well, Rich, I am sorry that you ended up with the one cat in the entire world. That was not able to adapt. Just joking. Cats. Gotta love them. Well, I hope that you and Bella are, uh, yeah, get back in the routine of things and go head back to Mexico to find Miguel Allende. Have a wonderful time on the coast. That does sound lovely. Just camping on the coast. The beautiful Pacific Northwest. Yeah. The Olympic coast. Sounds lovely. Have fun camping. I'm looking forward to y'all's net tonight. You sound great, by the way. BTW. And yeah. Thanks, Rich. 73 and 88. It's always good to hear from you. Next on the list is one of the many Riches. It's Rich and Polo. K3OE. Who's going to just spout, just spew the joys and wonders of owning just the most wonderful dog. And also being a tinkerer. K3OE, KK7IJZ. Well, hi, Rebecca. And the other Rich, of course. Oh, my goodness, yes. You know yourself with Andy. You know, even if you're having a rotten day, you've got a dog. Puts their snout in your lap or on your arm. Everything is better. So that's the way it is now. You trying to check here? There we go. I guess that was a check in from Polo. Anyway, doing great here. I made some salad for lunch, which is always good. We need our green stuff, that's for sure. So I did that and got Polo out for a really nice walk this morning. It's so pleasant. You just got to get outside and enjoy it. Back to you, K3OE. This is repeater station Kilo, Kilo 7. Hello, Polo. Hey, Polo. Give Polo so many kisses for me. I love you, Polo. Hello. Oh, Rich, have a wonderful salad and a wonderful weekend in West Seattle. It's a beautiful day out here. And I hope that the two of you make it to the ice cream social. I'm sure that you will. And, yeah, I feel like you and Volko would get along. Not that you wouldn't. I mean, Rich, you're the best. All of the Riches are the best. But, yeah. Volko, W7LCO, meet Rich, K3OE. Rich, K3OE, meet Volko, W7LCO. Y'all pick out each other's QRZ and become friends. Do it! 73 and 88 Rich and, yes, so many kisses to Polo. Hi, Polo. Thank you for taking care of Rich. All right. This is Rebecca, KK7IJZ. Next on the list is Dean from Middle Lake. Yuck! KG70DB, KK7IJZ. 88 Dean. Good afternoon, Rebecca. I almost said good morning. It's a sense of d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu. So it's really funny, after the Lake Washington net, I was wondering, has anybody ever done the Lake Washington 11 o'clock net and then done the new net on PSRG? And I kind of thought I'd heard it, it had happened before, but now I've got the definitive answer. It would be interesting if the net had gone all the way up past noon, what would happen. Or if it went right to noon and then it's like, give me five seconds and let me change my frequency. Well, it's good hearing you again today. It's kind of a nice thing. Yeah, not really doing a whole lot. I was doing a little bit of research online. There was a question that was brought up near the end of the morning net about how much wattage you should use in your car if you have a mobile rig in your car. And it's always been my understanding that the car itself acts as a Faraday cage. So it doesn't mean you have to be not conscious of high power, especially around 50 watts. I've been curious about this question because recently I was doing a, a couple months ago, I was doing a Parks on the Air over at Lake Sammamish. And I had my mag mount antenna on the roof of my car. And so normally when I'm doing FT8 on, you know, especially mobile, I rarely ever go above about 20 or 25 watts because FT8, you're going at a very high duty cycle. You're just on completely during the 15 second transmissions you make. And at one point I was trying to reach a faraway station. And so I turned my power up to, I think it was 70 watts with my mag mount on the roof. And all of a sudden my computer screen goes blank and other little things like the mouse pad wouldn't work properly while I was transmitting. So anyway, it kind of makes me wonder, so I'm going to do a little more research on this. And yeah, I know it was Christian, KK7AIX asked the question earlier, and I know that's not any kind of definitive answer, but anyway, it's, y'all is learning something new. So anyway, this is KT7ODD, back to Nat. Well, Dean, I do have some news for you. This is my second time back to backing Nets. The 11 am and the noon net. Second time. Second time's a charm, right? And it's really not that bad, you know, whatever. I talk a lot in general and nanny for a five year old, so I am talking all day long regardless. So here I am, doing Nets. But yeah, interesting report. It's always good to hear from you, Dean. I, uh, my cat Avi is in my lap now. He is tired of me hosting Nets. He wants me to lay down forever and be by his side for eternity and for us to just be together forever in solitude. Just snuggling. And he's decided that's going to start right now. But, uh, yeah. Well, thank you so much for your report, Dean. 88 and all the numbers and have a wonderful, wonderful weekend. Next on the list is Jeff in Onion City. Alpha Bravo 6 Mike Bravo. Please come ahead with your report. Good afternoon, Rebecca. This is AB 6MB on San Francisco Bay. We're sunny out and 76 degrees. So, it's supposed to be 82 today. Meanwhile, I just went a little bit ago. I had a really good night's sleep, which I needed, and got my coffee at the ready and I'm not afraid to drink it. I'm just getting going here. Interesting about taking a cat traveling. I'm not surprised. They're very territorial and very much like their space in a certain way. So, that's interesting. Sorry that happened. Uh, see here, uh, yeah, Saturday is my favorite day for amateur radio. I've got this. Then I've got the, you know, the, uh, the board meeting. And then I've got a 3 o'clock net that's really good. Then 5 p.m. is the, uh, ham radio crash course. And then, uh, 8 o'clock is the, uh, Papa System, uh, anything but radio net. And then 9 o'clock is the, uh, PSRG net. So, yeah, the whole day is filled up with great nets. So, I really enjoy it. It's my favorite day. My, uh, my grandson wanted to come over today to visit and I said, well, can you do it tomorrow? Because, uh, my whole day is kind of filled up. And he goes, yeah, I can do that. So, he's a pretty cool kid. So, uh, anyway, that's it for today. Oh, yeah, the squirrels, uh, filled up the peanuts and the nuts and got them ready. They haven't, I mean, I just got up here a little bit ago and I haven't seen them yet. But I guarantee you they'll be around. They got to do a quality check on the peanuts and nuts to make sure they're tasty. So, Sara, turn it back to you. AB6MB. Oh, that's sweet. Your grandson wants to come visit you. How amazing is that? Aww. Well, that's fun to have. Thank you so much for the squirrel report. I hope that the quality check goes well and that all of the nuts have been approved and consumed or hidden in a very secret, top secret location. Um, yeah, have a fun amateur radio day. Just, yeah, that's great. All of these things. Oh, yeah, I forget that the Ham Radio Crash Course does their live situation every Saturday evening as well. Um, yeah, well, have a fun day, Jeff, and we'll hear from you again later on tonight on Bill and Rich's Net at 9 p.m. Ah, 7388 Jeff. All right, this is Rebecca, KK7IJZ, and you are listening to the PFRG Noon Net on this B-8 radio station. It's a beautiful, beautiful Saturday. I'm going to go ahead and pause for announcements. Okay, for all events to consider, please check out psrg.org. That's psrg.org. There's an events to consider column on the side there. Lots of events to consider, volunteer opportunities, and yeah, swap meets so much, so many things. And on psrg, you can become a member, and it's free, you have access to the remote HF station. If you are interested in helping update and expand the remote HF station, or looking for volunteers for that, please get in touch with our Vice President Brooks, K9BDC. If you have any interest in, um, yeah, helping out with updating and, yeah, just a week, just help out with our remote HF station. It is, yeah, it'll be cool. And just get in touch with Brooks, K9BDC. Also today, on August 9th at 1.30 p.m. Pacific time, is our club board meeting. The Zoom link is already posted on our website, psrg.org. Just click the Zoom link to attend. You must be a board member to, um, vote, but, um, yeah, just kind of see how the sausage is made. There is so much that happens behind the scenes. At psrg, there's just a lot of hard work and love goes into maintaining the club in all different sorts of ways. So, yeah, just even if you have it on in the background, just listen to a board meeting, more of an understanding of how the club works. And then tomorrow is our ice cream social at Green Lake. So, Jack, KI7RMU and Boston Overbill usually get there at the crack of dawn, helping set everything up. And they just kind of go on all day. The new net is hosted there by Cami and Robert, KJ7JXM and KJ7RAB. There's always donuts and coffee, and it's an ice cream social, so there will be ice cream. At Green Lake, there's lots of things to do. You can walk around, hang out, dog watch, and, yeah, and meet a bunch of fun ham radio folks in 3D. It's always a good time. And, yeah, just putting faces to names, face to call signs. It's a lot of, it's so much fun. So, then tomorrow's rain or shine. The new net will be hosted there, so get there, you know, any time around the new net. Early, late, they usually last a long, long time. So, Green Lake. But everything, ham radio is posted at, everything PSRG is posted at PSRG.org or at, on our Facebook discussion group page, the PSRG website. And don't forget about the SimplexNet tonight as well. So, the SimplexNet, the frequency is 146.6, and it's at 8 p.m. in the Seattle Seattle area. So, board meeting, 1.30 today. Simplex, tonight, 8 p.m. Board meeting, I mean, board meeting, oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. 1.30 today. Simplex, tonight, 8 p.m. Board meeting, I mean, board meeting, oh. Ice cream social, meet everybody, tomorrow, Green Lake. Alright, this is KK7IJZ. Let's continue on with the net. I'll sign the name, RS, and internet. Kilo Juliet 7, Romeo Alfibrado, Kami. Hey Kami, 33, got you on the list. More stations, please. KJ7WQI, Matt. Clear. Hey Matt, got you on the list. More stations, please. Come ahead. Hey there, how's it going? This is W7LCO. Thanks for hosting the net tonight. Today I went to the farmer's market in Des Moines and I got a new hat and I got a tiny jar of honey from Shipwreck. I was there with my mom and Judy bought me a candle for my boat. I think the scent was called Blood Moon and it was kind of like a real nice citrusy scent. So that was a nice morning. And then I went to see a play in Burien at the Performing Arts Center. They did Newsies, so that was really fun. And that was a date, so a fun kind of unique date experience. And in less exciting news, my boat water, fresh water system sprung a leak somewhere under the floor so the pump, I had to turn it off because it was just pumping water out. So that's something I'm going to be working on tomorrow morning. So that's about it for me. I'm just out in my car, just finished up a walk, so just going to head back to the boat and listen to the net on my way back. Thanks again. Sending it back to you, 73 is everyone out there, W7LCO. W7LCO K7WFP. Well that is a full day. I want to ask you though about the play Newsies. Is that a musical? And if you want to give us any more details on your date, we'd all like to know. Come ahead. Yeah, sure. Newsies is a musical, yes, and it was made into a movie that starred Christian Bale when he was a teenager. And it's really fun in my opinion, but I mean I like musicals in general, but it's a really fun one. It's got a lot of good Union socialism vibes, so that's always fun. Speak truth to power or whatever. Anyway, and then the date, this woman Nicole that my boss, who's also my best friend, introduced me to, who's cousins with his wife, and we hung out at their party at his house on July 4th, and so we've been going out on some fun dates lately. And I'm like a couple of weeks since then, so it's going pretty well I would say. Back to you, W7LCO. W7LCO, okay, 7WFB. Well, thank you. Yeah, oh, Newsies sounds like fun, and the date with Nicole sounds like fun. A new, a new maybe romance since July 4th. A summer romance. I hope it doesn't end with the summer though. Thanks for letting us know about that. Very interesting. Jeff, AB6MB, Jeff probably had a date with Rocky today, is that right?"},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-06T12:11:52+00:00","id":14743,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":14742,"text":" Well, you stay cool. Definitely stay in the shade if at all possible. Stay inside. That's even better. Stay hydrated, please. All right. Nice to hear you, but it's definitely hot out that way. Let's go talk to Josh now. A little cooler here in the Northwest. We had some rain today. I tell you, I was out there walking in the rain. Had my rain jacket unzipped. Had the light brim hat on, though. And man, it just felt so good. So let's go find out how Josh is after here. He is? Because he's said, how's Hugh? Well, hello there, governor. Yeah, things are going great. Definitely it was nice to have that rain this morning out at the boat. Feels like it's been a couple months since it's rained for a good eight hours. So yeah, that was pretty nice. Really chill day at work today. My boss, Roderick, he's also my best friend. So the line between work and play is pretty blurry. So he didn't tell me what time. Last night he didn't tell me what time he wanted to start work today, which usually means he's had a couple at the pub. So I didn't hear from him until 1030 today. I've been hanging out at his house for the last hour. And he's like, I just do not want to work today. He said, we've only got one work order that we have to get done today. And it's to install a washer dryer stack combo in an apartment. And the washer dryer is already in the apartment. We just have to hook it up because it involves the water. And he's like, so if you want to go out there and take care of that by yourself and let me just chill here, you'll get paid for the whole day. I was just like, send it. So I'm on my way downtown to install this washer dryer. And then the rest of the day is for me. So I'll go ahead and listen to the net for the next half hour. Thanks for hosting. 73 is everyone out there. And I'll send it back to you. Whiskey 7, Lima, Charlie, Oscar. Uh, OK. Well, that sounds like a pretty good day for you. Now, is he considering this a four hour minimum work day? Or is it a full eight hour day work day for you? Well, yeah, I just charge him per day. He's actually subcontracting out to me because I have my own company, my own entity already. So he doesn't have to pay L&I and payroll and all that stuff and taxes. So yeah, that's kind of our deal is if I work for him at all, I want to get the whole day's pay. And if we have a day where things go long because stuff goes sideways and stuff breaks that we didn't expect, then I just stay past eight hours. But we're very good. So that rarely happens. I think that only happens twice in like eight months. So it's a great deal. Oh, I'd say that's a pretty fair deal. OK, all right. Well, have a good time there. Yeah, listen to the net for a bit before you get out of there. And good luck. Sounds like an easy day to me. Although I do not do plumbing. I am not a good plumber. In fact, I wouldn't even consider myself a plumber at all. I've done very little because I have a very low success rate. Just some things you just know you should not be doing, and that is one of them for me. I can do other things, but that one I just do not like. Although I can wash dishes. How about that? That's pretty good, I guess. Not really plumbing or domestic engineering. All right, Joshua. Have a great day. And I'll see you in the next one. Bye. I hope you're enjoying the rain somewhat. We had an I.O. From Sean out there in Buckley. I looked him up, and I do not know of him until just today. Really happy to have him come in. He is really into radio, scuba diving, all kinds of great things. So thank you, Sean. Good to hear you today. Have a great Tuesday or Wednesday. What am I saying? Let's continue on. That's 1208. I'm Jack KI7RMU for the new net here in Seattle, Washington on the PSRG 2-meter repeater. If you'd like to join us, call, sign, and name."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-09T12:23:33+00:00","id":15507,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15506,"text":" Awesome, and then there was one more station in there that I didn't catch. So I've got Bill, I've got Grossie, who else was in there? This is Kilo Charlie to Sierra Tango Oscar. Got you on the list, Charlie. More stations. Call sign and name, RF and internet. It's Wilco, W7 LCO. That's who it was, Wilco, W7 LCO. Awesome. I'm going to put you a bit further up on the list because I know you were down there. Yeah, I could hear you. I could hear that voice. Let's go ahead and draw a line there and go back to the top. Bill, I know that you had a shout out during the Lake Washington meeting about SAG driver. I'm hoping that you will mention that in your report. So Bill KG7 BAH, KK7 IJZ. KJ7 BAH, you're driving back home from another VE session. We tested a young lady that was a net control operator assistant person at Flying Wheels and she got her general very handily. We had a young man who got his technician very handily and another gentleman who tested for all three and did very well on the first two and fell short on the third so he's going to do some more studying and come back. As to the bike race, the bike ride, the Redmond to Bellingham slash Vancouver ride that's coming up in a couple of weeks on a Saturday. That race is still in need of SAG drivers. If you don't know what a SAG driver is, it's somebody who has the capability of carrying a bicycle inside or on a bike rack and some passengers inside in case you have to get a wounded rider or bicycle back to a bigger point. It's a great way to use your ham radio skills. It will require a deadly serious VHF radio because I'll be doing that control from Education Hill to repeaters up and down the course. That's the plan. If this sounds interesting to you, a way to actually use your ham skills, drop me a line at my callsign kilojuliet7. bravoindihotel.com. That's that easy. KG7BIH. Back to that. Well, first of all, that's so exciting. That, yeah, General and then a couple of new hams. That is awesome. Thank you so much for your volunteer examiner service. Everyone, please always remember that being a ham radio operator, being an amateur radio operator is a service and there's so many volunteer opportunities out there for you. And one of them is being a volunteer examiner, which is a lot of fun. Yeah. Well, thank you so much for coming in with your report, Bill. I appreciate it. And yes, please get in touch with Bill. He volunteers a lot on bicycle rides and races and is always in need of volunteers. But for this one specifically, if any of that sounds interesting, please hit him up at kilojuliet7. bravoindihotel.gmail.com. And yeah, I hope that people get in touch with you, Bill. I'm not sure what the little red rollers say to you, but you never know. It's what I call my car. It's very small. Well, Bill, thank you so much, 73. And thank you for checking in. This is Rebecca KK7IJZ. Next on the list is Grossie. Hey, Grossie, how are you doing this weekend? Please come ahead with your report. Well, I'm doing pretty good. Everything's going good. I went to my doctor the other day. I'm going to have to go in the hospital next month, but that's OK. It's a quick, easy procedure. Good old kidney stones. I get them every 10 years like clockwork. Well, this one came early. It came in in nine years. So we're going to I guess I'm going to go into one of those chambers where they just blast them. I'm not looking forward to it, but might be easier than the other way. The other two ways I've had one, two, three, four. This is the fourth bout of them. And if anybody's had them, they know they're no fun. But anyhow, that's the story I'm at. Rabbits are doing good around the property. I forgot I had another commitment for tomorrow, so I'm not going to make the ice cream deal. So oops, I'll make it again some year. And I was looking forward to jamming with the guys, too. But there again, oops, always something throws a monkey wrench into stuff, but that's OK. Life goes on. Otherwise, everybody have a good day. Better tomorrow. Gross, he said to you. Talk to you guys later. W7, DNG. Oh, OK. Yeah. Rather than later, blast those things out. At least you know when to expect them every 10 years, right? Well, thanks for stopping by, Grossie. Have a great weekend and, yeah, you know, there will be more later shines. Seven three and have a wonderful, wonderful weekend. And next on the list, I'm going to call for Wilco W7 LCO KK7 IJZ. Please come ahead with your report. Hello there. Thank you for running the net. This is Wilco. I just got back to the boat this morning. I went down to Burien Cares and took one of the doggos out for a walk and some playtime and got some coffee. Nitro cold brew at Burien Press. And the weather is amazing. So I'm just going to open up all the doors and windows on the boat and get some nice air and natural light in there. And I will be opening up the floor panels looking for my leak, which I've been trying to find for about a week. A one week leak, you might say. So that's on my plate for the afternoon. And I guess that's about it. So I'll send it back to you and let the roll call move on. Seventy three to you and everyone out there. Whiskey seven, Lima, Charlie, Oscar. Before you run away, Wilco, I need a doggo report. What's this doggo situation? How many? Two, three, five, one names, call signs. K9 report, Wilco, back to you. Yeah. OK. All right. My bad. This little pit bull that I took out today is super cute. He's about 45 pounds. Super shorty. Very mild mannered, sweet temperament. His name is stud muffin and he's about a year and a half old. Extremely cute. I think he might be deaf, actually. He seems like not really responsive to human voices. So. But yeah, I have been looking at adopting a dog again since I got divorced and my ex has our husky named Eleven. And so I've just been looking around at the shelters and on the pet finder app. Oh, and also, I forgot to mention last night I went to the Little Red Hen for watching Knute Bell, who's a country singer, and tried my hand at doing some dancing, some country dancing. So that was a fun date that I went on last night. So that's the doggo report and the date report. Back to you. Whiskey seven, Lima, Charlie, Oscar. Yes, that is awesome. You know what? That's over. Everyone have a great day. Just joking. Stud muffin? Are you kidding me? You need to keep that pit bull. Stud muffin. I love stud muffin already. I can't even believe it. A little shorty pit bull. His name is stud muffin. My favorite thing about pit bulls is they look like they're talking to you. Their little expressive eyes and their little b-stick head. I love it. I love pit bulls. I love all dogs. I love all animals. Human and non-human. And dancing? What? I love it. Way to go. Way to grab the bull by the horns, so you can speak. Getting those dates in. Dancing skills on point. That's amazing, Rocco. And yes, I hope the week gets fixed. Eventually, you know, we just roll out the duct tape. Just start taping the bottom of the boat. Just tape it. Tape everything. No, don't do that. Just joking. I don't know anything about boats, but yeah. Well, that's great. Well, you and stud muffin, just keep on doing what you do. And thank you so much for the doggo report. I hope that you and stud muffin get together forever and ever and ever. And that the week gets fixed. Thank you so much, Rocco. And also, Contra dancing. Can't say enough about how fun it is. Contra dancing. Do it. Or not. 7-3, Rocco. This is Rebecca, KK7IJZ. Last on this list is Charlie, KC2STO. Please come ahead with your report."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-11-10T09:04:04+00:00","id":78359,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":78358,"text":" Okay, well nothing else heard right now, so let's go back up to the top and start the net off with W7 LCO. Yeah, nice to hear you there John. Yeah, I was on a call myself. I actually made the call. I didn't receive one, so I apologize for that. But it just had to be made because I wanted to try to figure something out for the schedule. But I've got that all accomplished. Hey, I wanted to back up a little bit and say sorry to Steve for the accident there. I hope he's okay. Sounds like he got all bandaged up. But yeah, that's kind of scary first thing in the morning not even 5 a.m. Oh boy. Anyway, so I want to tell you about a story I had with the same situation that Josh had, a W7LCO. Yeah, I was I was purchasing a car at a high-end, well not high-end, you know, just a nice car dealership. And I was back in the customer area and they had the coffee machine, they had tea, they had all these things. And I was like, wow, this is great. They have cocoa packets, they have everything, sugar, you know, creamer. So I started to make a cup of coffee, got the krig all fired up. I was ready to go put the pot in. And then I was about to hit start, realized there's not coffee cup one in this establishment. I looked over at the parts department manager. He was standing there watching me. I'm sure he watched other people previously and he kind of had a smirk on his face. And I said, as this happened before today, are there any coffee cups? He just went, I don't know. So I was looking about not one coffee cup. So I was denied. That is frustrating, but not the end of the world, obviously. All right. Well, good to hear you there, John. You have a great day. Thank you very much for doing the 9 o'clock net every week. You're OK. And thank you for your service, sir. Happy Veterans Day tomorrow. We're doing something about that tomorrow or two on the new net and hope to hear all of you. KI 7, I'm you. I am Just working on boat stuff today. I was going to drive over to Idaho this morning and visit my cousins and uncle and Stay there for a night or two but too sure about doing the past when it's around and below freezing up there in my car doesn't have very good tires and I Don't really have it Kitted out with emergency equipment and stuff. And so I was already thinking about not going because of those reasons and then last night I was working on one of my boat clients boats and And his charger, which is like the original 50-year-old Onward battery bank charger, it appears, has failed to regulate voltage properly. So when I went below deck last night to work on some wiring, I heard his battery is boiling. And that's never something you want to hear. Yeah, I had to shut all that down and give him the bad news, so that's gonna be a lot of work. So probably be getting into that in the next couple days here before Christmas so I can get his bilge pumps and water pumps and whatnot back online. So yeah, and then on my own boat, I have to do some work on my... of the engines the alternator is not grounding very well so I have to take it off and sand down the paint and rust that's on the bracket and get the alternator working again there and also have to pull the impeller on that engine and replace it and then on the other engine I need to finish the wiring harness I put a new wiring harness on it and that's proven to be a little more tedious than I thought it would be as projects tend to do and I'm also building out kind of a garage workshop area in the front of the boat so I've mounted a bunch of Milwaukee pack out plates and stuff in here so that my tools and parts bins can be secured while I'm underway so that's the stuff I'm working on and got a bunch of surplus ham and turkey from the yacht club's Christmas party yesterday so I'll have plenty to eat for the next few days so I'll send it back to you and hope everyone enjoys their week and has a great Christmas. I am still not out at anchor, but hopefully soon, as I've been doing so many projects on the boat for the last year and a half, year and three quarters, something like that. so getting pretty close now. My plan is to once I leave the dock I'm just going to be perpetually at anchor so that's going to be kind of the big next chapter of my life and I just got Starlink hooked up on the boat so I'm coming in from Echo Link here. I haven't got my VHF and hf antennas going on the boat yet but i've got um i've got a couple rigs for that and um got my little morse code key so i can learn that and everything um my current project is i need to build a bookshelf because i've been collecting a bunch of books in here so that when i'm out I can do a bunch of reading and I just want to think of sort of a creative and secure way of displaying them here so I'm going to be working on that this week and finishing up a wiring harness project that has just been the bane of my existence on engine number two and I have the alternator off on engine number one right now because it wasn't grounding properly so I had to kind of grind down all the surfaces to bare metal where it touches the block so should be putting that back on tomorrow and I've got some canvas stuff to fix as well my friend has like an industrial Juki sewing machine I need to take the beaming off and take it up to his shop and sew up the zipper that hasn't kind of ripped and all this wind just keeps pushing it back further and further so I need to really get that fixed before I go out. But other than that I'm pretty much ready to go. I've got my batteries even solar panels and my various electronic systems are working and what whatnot and then I've got a I've got a truck project as well so I've got my old f-350 bezel and I need to do some new fuel plugs and clean up the injectors and get the back going because it's having some problems cold studding on right now so that will also be on my list this weekend next and sprinkled amongst all that is my boat client work so definitely keeping busy. Glad you were still online here. Thanks for taking my calling in and 73 is to you and everyone else out there and I'll go ahead and send it back to you now. I'm just hanging out on the boat I had a pretty late night. So I was taking the bed apart and getting underneath them where I need to access some things and So I my bed was just kind of on its side So I was up until about 4 a.m. And then I slept on the couch and then woke up around 11. So So, I've just been tinkering with that stuff and doing a bunch of data privacy rework on my laptop and phone and that sort of thing, so I'll be working on that. I don't have any coffee beans right now, so basically I haven't had coffee and I'm trying to decide if I want to go to the cafe down the street and get some coffee for, you know, $10 or whatever it is or go find some beans that I like since I don't buy grocery store beans I have to go to like you know an actual cafe or whatever and get some Olympia roaster beans or something like that, and then I'd have to come back and Plug in the grinder and all that kind of stuff. So trying to decide if I want to try to keep working through that or or maybe I'll just have some tea this morning. So it's a little bit windy out here. That's flapping the canvas around, but at least no rain. My windows tend to leak in the boat, which doesn't cause any structural damage because the boat's fiberglass. But it definitely damages the wood veneer panels on the interior. So I've been kind of tearing into those as well. So lots of projects, endless projects, probably for the next 10 or 20 years, so that's fun. But it keeps life interesting, keeps me young. I got my ham radios back out, so I've got my little Yezu rig and I got my ICOM 7200. I need to set that up with the little iambic key that I got down at the Tacoma Radio Club and I need to start looking at antennas for the boat. And I just got Starlink set up as well. So I'm working on some stuff with that. A buddy of mine is setting me up with, we have kind of a private global data network in our group that's running on people's servers in their closets kind of thing. So now that I have the Starlink here, he's gonna set me up with a Cisco switch and a networked Cisco desk phone and networked IP camera and that sort of thing. So lots of fun stuff on the horizon. Also putting some new glow plugs and stuff in the truck. So staying busy there and maybe going to see my brother and his plan down on the homestead down in South Prairie area, south of 410 there. So I'll be doing that maybe tonight or tomorrow. I'll go ahead and just close it up here. send it back to you thanks again w7 lco this is repeater station well that's amazing all right we have a good time and all while suffering from a coffee emergency hey just real quick what do you think of this you can get things delivered by drones or maybe you will be in the future i know they do that in japan but what do you think about this josh a mobile service called, and I've brought this up before, called catapult coffee. You go stand out on the deck of your boat, the van comes by, figures out which way you are, and then calculates trajectory, and then boom, here comes five pounds of ground coffee in a bag. What do you think?"},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-26T12:39:41+00:00","id":99643,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":99642,"text":"All right that round pie that stuff has come up.
