KI7RMU, what you doing out of Green Lake? Well, good afternoon, Rebecca. I'm down here in Green Lake right here at the lawn where we're going to do the Rain or Shine Ice Cream social celebrating Brooks and Megan's recent wedding. And of course, summer. Boy, I tell you, the Green Lake Park is packed today. People renting boats, getting coffee at the concession stand where we're going to be getting our ice cream treats. Pickleball is raging. People are walking around the lake. The geese are here. It's a beautiful, beautiful day. So I'm just down here taking some pictures to post on Facebook, kind of give you the general idea and the feeling for the Rain or Shine that we did back in 2022 for the Golden Jubilee, 50 years of being radio on the PSRG. So beautiful day, and we'll talk to you a little bit later for the board meeting coming up at 1.30 this afternoon. The links are on the website. And there you go. So back to you, and hope to see you but you're down here tomorrow. KI7RMU. It's fun to hear the background noise of just the hum of the outside, but also the dink, dink of the pickleball. Well, thank you so much for checking in, Jack, and posting the pictures. We do have, PSRG has a Facebook discussion group page for all events, but also just to be able to have discussions. So yeah, we do have a Facebook discussion group page. So check that out too. But yeah, thank you so much for your report, Jack. Appreciate all that you do. And I won't be able to make it tomorrow. Yeah, I just can't swing it. So yeah. But anyway, that's all right. I'll definitely make a point to check in. But yeah, 7388Jack, thank you so much for everything. All right, this is Rebecca, KK7IJZ. I'd get on the piano and I'd play it. And she says, your son can't read music. And she says, what do you mean about that? And I says, or she says, this isn't even the song I put in front of him that I played. I played a different song and he played that just note for note. So I kind of chuckled about that and he says, well, don't need to waste any more money on that. So we gave that up. There was something else I was going to do under recheck and I forgot it. You know me, I got short term memory loss. I'll probably think of it later on. But otherwise, that's about it. If I think about it, I'll come back and recheck again. I'll need to write it down. It kind of cut down on insurance, but that doesn't save you that much because you get a better discount on insurance if you have two cars. And what it is, it's a good old Ford Explorer, or Exploder as a lot of people like to call them. It's got 187,000 miles and it still starts like it's just off the showroom floor. It's not as good looking, but it's there. All weather interior. Everybody gave me such low bottom prices on it. The tires and rims that I've got on are about $1500 worth sitting on it. So I figured I'm just going to turn it in since I got rid of my motorhome and didn't need it. I like car camping and I've got all the accessories for car camping, so I'm going to just finalize it and set the thing up strictly for camping. When I want to go, I just put the key in it, take off, and I'm ready to go. Load the bike up on the back end and good things are running. But thank God for my wife when she was alive, she was driving school bus and the government pretty much has a hell of a program for medical for the family and stuff. And the one I'm on, geez, what Medicare and stuff don't pay, my Premier comes in and knocks it out of the park and literally nothing out of pocket except maybe buying some of the medications. But otherwise, I'll pay the $15 for the medication I got it taken and the $30,000 I'll say, thank you very much. That's another good day in paradise. Okay, that's enough said. I didn't even take a check to see what time it was when I got out. But you know when they knock, they get you on the table and you're laying there, and the guy's doing all this and all that. Next thing you know, you're waking up. The table you lay on, the underneath side where your back is, it's like you're laying on a little waterbed. And then they got a machine that goes in there, and it just kind of blasts through your system. They got an x-ray that looks up where the kidney stones are. Put an X on it, you go bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. I guess it's quite loud. I know when I went in for a CAT scan, I think it was, that machine was awful loud when they were hammering you with that. The gal says multiply that times, too. They have to wear actual headphones when they do that. It's so loud. So anyhow, that's the story on that. But otherwise, in, out, done. I highly recommend it if you ever have kidney stones. Hopefully you don't have them where you're bent over like a feces. But feces, what is it? Baby, yeah. All bent over like a little baby. Then they don't have to physically go in. But if you go in and you got a urologist that's really good and sees, hey, you've got a kidney stone here. We better keep an eye on it. Just asking, hey, can we shoot it now while it's small? And they go from there. But otherwise, that's my story. I'm sticking to it. And like I say, I'm feeling pretty good today. W7, BNG. All right, girls. I'm glad you went in and done. Let's go talk to Beach before he slips away. Back from Texas. I think you're done with the Texas trips for the season. Is that right, Beach? KG7, QQL. Oh, no. Texas season is perennial now. Yeah, I did just get back a week, 10 days ago. Maybe two weeks ago. I can't remember now. Yeah, I think it was a couple weeks. I spent two trips in August to Texas. August in Texas. I hadn't been back home in Texas in August in 30 years. I hadn't forgotten what it was like. I remembered it instantly. But yeah, I'm going back again in October. And my dad's 93. So I'm going to be going back and forth to Texas for a while. Hopefully a long while. But yeah, so I was sitting here thinking when he was. I already forgot his name and fell before me. Wintertime rolls around, put the battery tenders on and shut them down, drain the gas, do all the typical things there, put my little cayenne pepper and I make a ring around the whole bike on the ground. You know, make a silhouette of it like a body and use that to keep the mice and rats and whatever awful critters off of a bike during the wintertime and get everything situated that way.
