They give off more heat, I think, than they give off more heat. And, I mean, if you look at these cats, they can go outside in, like, negative 10 degrees and stay out there for, like, half an hour or an hour and come back in and be just want to be out there, too. He is out there still. He was walking up on him when he was out there, so he went out when I left for the store and came back when I came back from the store."

"text": "Well, Tim, I'm glad to hear you stopped at a bookstore and got one of the famous books, 1984. Yeah, that's one I haven't read in a hot minute either, so I'd have to go back and re-read that. I don't think I own that one anymore. I did at one point for a while, but then once you move after a few times, you know, things kind of get cycled out. But glad to hear you picked yourselves up. At least one book, maybe two or more there, and you'll get to it. Maybe one of these rainy days. I know you keep yourself busy there, Tim. So maybe one of the days when you don't have so much planned, you can get to that. Bummer to hear that your car won't let you stop charging and it's telling you that you have seven more minutes before it will let you unplug. That is not very cool. Hopefully it will finish charging up there quickly so you can get on about your evening. I guess it's almost 9.30 already, so wow. Day's going by quickly. You, mobile, safe, home, there, it's him, and we will talk to you again soon. Okay, now we're gonna go talk to Sean, KJ7, EXM33, Sean."

"text": " Well good morning everyone on the net. It's been a little while since I've been with you. I'm actually on RF for once. I'm here in Seattle, but I'm driving home to Portland as we speak. I'm currently passing by the University Village QFC. As some of you may know, I'm a rabbi. I was up here guest rabbying at one of the local synagogues for Yom Kippur. And heading home today. I was thinking about trying to do it last night, but you know, after a day of fasting I was like, nah, I don't think so. This morning I got to have a nice cup of coffee and a nice breakfast and I'm heading home. Got some time before I need to be home though, so I'm going to hit up one or two proto sites on the drive that I haven't hit yet. I think I'm going to start in the South Puget Sound wildlife area which is in Lakewood, a fairly new proto site added to the new, added to the proto directory. So I don't know, I should be there in about an hour or so. And I'm going to try to activate on 40 meters for all of us local folks here trying to get more 40 meter proto going up here in the Pacific Northwest. It's not very active, but you know, that is what it is. Yeah, I hope everyone is doing well. I hope everyone is staying safe and staying hydrated. I mean, heading back right now to war ravaged Portland is definitely, you know, well, you know, if that's what wars look like, then all wars should look like Portland looks like right now. That's all I have to say about that. Anyway, I'll throw it back to net control and I will listen for as long as I can on the drive. I hope everyone has a great day ahead of you. Stay safe, stay compassionate, and don't do anything I wouldn't do. This is W7AYQ."

"text": " Hey, good morning. It is 9 o'clock. That must mean it's time for the 9 o'clock net, held every 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. here on the Puget Sound Repeater Group's Best Sound in Puget Sound. This is an open net. If you're a licensed fan, you're welcome to join, even if it's your very first time. Use that push to talk. Do it. You're listening, obviously, 14696. This one has a negative offset and a tone of 103.5. It's also a social net. You can talk about whatever you'd like to talk about. Lots of subjects out there. And it's also a directed net. That means all traffic is going to go through me. I'll be making lists. I'll pull you out one by one. I just ask, please don't tailgate. Don't tailgate. Let me acknowledge each operator individually and we'll keep it neat and orderly. And keep the transmission under 3 minutes. That'll keep you from getting eaten by the time-out alligator. And be sure to end with your call sign, which lets me know you're done and satisfies the FCC. And with that, let's start the first round of the 9 o'clock net here with low-power mobile or I.O. stations. You today are low-power, mobile, or I.O. Come down with your name and call."
