"text": "I had it going for about five hours and I've still got some gas flips so there you go. I thought I would have run out. Anyway, I'm just listening to the nephew here in the kitchen and I'm about to cook up a chicken stir fry with some smoking barbecue sauce so that's what I'm up to at the moment. And your nephew's on in the background so that's about all. I'm just preparing some food at the moment. I'm currently cutting up a capsicum. And then I'm about to chuck all this in the wok and we're going to do some cooking before the days of end. Back to you, Louis, and good to be on the net. VK3K here from the land of the future. Back to you. Hello to you, Sean, from yesterday to you. Anyway, Sean, yeah, when Alec mentioned that he saw Sean and Sean on the net, I was curious myself. I'm scrambling up my list thinking."

Got an after-head cold. Just letting you know I'd send you a message on message of the four. Many, many hubs connected on PSOG. It's out of control when you look at the bubble chart. So, just sort of let you know. But you. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I get that. Yeah, I have to reboot every once in a while just to make sure we clear them out just because they're not. They're still connected. Yes. And, hey, keep an eye out for that station. I just, yeah. I have to be a little bit more careful. I have to be careful. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. No, I, yeah, I get that. Yeah. I have to reboot every once in a while just to make sure we clear them out just because they don't realize they are still connected. Yes. And, hey, keep an eye out for that station. I just, I, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah."

"text": " Well it's not a full rain or shine net, it's the new net so it's a little bit less equipment, not quite as full, but we do have a great, just amazing local bakery right across the street from the park. So we've got coffee, we've got donuts, people can go take care of what they want over there and get the drink they want and the treat and whatever they do and then come back and join us. So yeah, no, it's a really nice park. I'll be there probably no later than 10am to get set up and make sure everything's good to go and so we'll see you when you get there. How about that? Back to you Sean. VK3KK, KI7RMU."

"text": " Well, good morning Jack, good morning. It is here anyway in the land of the future. VK3KK, good morning, good afternoon. Ten minutes to six, sorry, ten minutes to seven. In the morning over here in the land of the future. Jack, happy birthday and happy birthday to JXM as well if you're listening. Happy birthday to you both, have a great day for you all. Yeah Jack, just woke up, cooking, let's have some breakfast now. I've just put some toast on and I'm thinking what should I have on my toast, marmite or peanut butter? What do you reckon I should have, Jack? So anyway, one of the advantages Jack in living in the land of the future, I know when people's birthdays are the day before because I'm in the future and I can predict these things high, high because Facebook gives me a notification the day before it's someone's birthday. So yesterday it said that it was your birthday and Robert's birthday so I knew that today was today because you're in the land of the past, high, high. So there you go, I just know these things Jack. Anyway, time zone has changed Jack, we're now on daylight saving time now so the noon net starts at 6am my time and we're now at 5am instead of 5am so it's a bit more comfortable time zone at the moment so 6 o'clock start is a lot better than 5 o'clock for me. And that's about it Jack, Jack you realise less than 4 weeks, I'll be seeing you in less than 4 weeks, very excited, can't wait for it. KI7RMU back to you, VK3KK from the land of the future. Thanks Jack, have a great day."

"text": " Yeah, AB6MB from VK3K returning. Good stuff, Jeff. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's exactly right. And, anyway, so I guess I'm just trying to prepare for the future, I think, the more IP decisions we have. And, of course, because I've got... My repeater runs off a Raspberry Pi 3B Plus. My transportable node, which has the ham VoIP image, runs off another Raspberry Pi 3B Plus. And the two ASL nodes, the Horst-Arling nodes, was designed by a friend of mine who came up with his own design. And it works also externally. The two recent nodes that I've done will be using a DellWise computer, a DellWise PC, instead of a Pi, much cheaper. I'll have to send you a picture. The DellWise, it's in a nice black pelican case, and I've got an N-type connector, female N-type connector on the side with a little patch cable which goes straight to the transceiver. I'm using a Simico SRM 9000 radio, and it fits very well. Tim was the designer of this, gave me the wiring diagram and the pin layout, and I soldered that up, that type of thing. And the good thing is, with the DellWise computer, they run on a voltage from about 19 volts down to 10 volts, I think. I think they go as low as 10 volts, Jeff. So having a common, same voltage, being 13.8, to power the radio, it powers the DellWise computer, not a problem. So no need for any type of conversion or anything like that. It's all the same voltage, unlike a Raspberry Pi where it runs off 5 volts and you've got to have a separate supply for it. Back to you."
