And I'll tell you who I got. We got W0GL, thank you for checking in, Alan. You were one and done. Darryl VL1UKZ, I can't wait to hear why you were up all night. MD KN4LBF and Josh KJ5IRQ and Ron AA4HO. What's gonna do for us? Like, you didn't get any sleep at all last night? Your sleep schedule must have really messed up. What's going on with you? This is KC2PKG, over to you, VL1UKZ. Well, it all started yesterday afternoon. Bodies started showing up left, right, and center at my neighbor's house next door. So I figured it was his wake. And so I dropped by to extend my sympathies and whatnot to his sisters and mom and stepfather and stuff. And I ended up sticking around over there for a few hours, just talking to everybody. I was running into people that I hadn't seen in, Jesus, decades, man. Anyway, I ran into a friend of mine, and I hadn't seen her since, Jesus, since a year or two after high school, maybe. And we got to talking for most of the evening. And then she dropped over here, and we were having a chat and smoking a few and watching TV and a few other things and whatnot. And just ended up up till like the middle of, well, seven o'clock this morning, I think she went home, something like that. So I was just up all night, man. And so yeah, I'll end up catching a few hours later this afternoon or something like that. I ain't got much on the go today. So it was no big deal. But yeah, I figured, man, there was bodies. There was like 50 or 60 people there, I'd say, easily. And bodies were... Ha ha ha ha ha! Oh, Chuck. Man, oh man, he's a smart guy, that Chuck. Yeah, so ended up hanging out all night, and here we are. Then I got on the radio about an hour and a half ago, and I'd just been chatting with George and Brian and Ron jumped in there just toward the end. So yeah, I'd just been awake all night, man. You know, nothing wrong catastrophically or anything like that. So yeah, back over to you, man. V01, UKZ, this is KC2PKG. Well, that's a nice story for a change. When you said all these bodies showing up next door, I was like, uh oh, what is that about? All right, VE1WIN, Peter. What is going on with you? How was your weekend, Peter? What are your plans? So, Russell, you want me to finish out the neck for you? This is KC2-PKG. Yeah, you clean the neck. You got to clean up. And you got that tightness. Yeah, you clean it up for me. I'll get you on Thursday. Okie doke, you have a great day. Alright, well, I'll say I'm next. So, I'll just say one more thing about Gabby. She's one of those exceptional people that you ask them to do you a favor. And it's always more. With her, it was always more. She did it much more neatly than I was expecting. She worked harder at it. So, it's good. It's good. And I do what becomes bad. Alright, guys. We got to move on here. And Peter, are you still out there? V-E-1-W-I-N. This is KC2-PKG. Yeah, I'm still here. I just got confused at what happened to Gabby. I don't know. Somebody said it. Sounds like somebody pissed her off. I think. I don't know what happened. But I don't need to know. I just don't like people that do that to other people. I think they're bullies in here. But it's not really like that. They shouldn't be allowed on it yet. They come to cause trouble. They should be banned right off the bat. That's my opinion on it. You know, they got to start acting like jackasses to people. But, you know. No. No. You shouldn't be a ham hopper. You're never going to be like that to people. You shouldn't even be in the hobby. That's my opinion. And, uh, great enough today. Lots of conversation anyway. So, with that, back to you, Greg. Catch y'all maybe tomorrow. I won't be, uh. No, I won't be available no more. I got to go to a club meeting. Catch y'all later. Back to you, Greg. See you later. All right, then Kevin, VA3, KKY, the honor falls to you of deciding one question we're gonna ask. You know the routine. Go ahead. Throw out a number 1 to 6. Okay, well, what I can do is throw the Google dice, so something like Google, read the number from 1 to 6. Four. Four? So, question four. All right. The question is, let's see, suppose you were offered the power to read other people's minds. Would you take it? And why? So, in a way, it could be good, it could be bad. I mean, you could be learning a lot of stuff that you don't want to know, whether it's about you and this person or other things. But if you had the power to read people's minds or could have the power, would you take it? So, we'll turn that over to you, Kev. Well, I suppose that I would. It would probably make me even more judgmental on second-guessing people because I kind of already do that anyway. And I rely totally on, you know, inner monologue and internal wit, you know, to decide what I'm gonna do. And I think that's a good thing. I don't even quit, you know, to decide about people already, so it would just probably be more intense. I just honestly really don't really believe in such things because I'm thinking if anyone can read minds, well, then it's very simple to settle. Tell me tomorrow's LOMOMAX numbers. I don't even play. Tell me about a horse that I could cash in on. You know, give me something tangible. Give me something legible. That's the thing with sidekicks is oftentimes they don't have any credibility at all to me unless they're already doing well. It would be the first thing that you would do. And if anyone tells you that they're psychic, just go up to them and punch them right in the face, kick them right in the ribs, step on their feet, and they're lying to you already generically because they should have been out of the way. Nothing should have already told them that that was coming. They couldn't even see that coming. So I'd have to be so, or I think I would be heavily skeptical of a lot of those things. So even like my atheism, I think honestly I've come upon it in terms of a logical awakening, you know, more than anything else. And I don't have any particular ESPs or anything like that. It certainly never comes in handy. It's never saved me. I always learn about things way after the fact, right? Like, oh, my brother was sick, and I wouldn't have never known. So if it was ever something useful, it's never been revealed to me. But yeah, go punch a psychic. And they didn't see it coming. The most simplest thing. The gala experience, I guess. Okay, I'll pass it back to you, Kevin. VA3KKY. VA3KKY KM1X. Well, I'm talking more, less about reading into the future. I'm talking more like just knowing what people are thinking. So that, you know, if you're working with somebody and you can hear what they're thinking as they're thinking it, so that if they're looking at you and saying, oh, man, this guy's a jerk, you get that. I mean, yeah, it would be predicting the future if you knew that, okay, you would read the mind of the president who's planning on, you know, starting nuclear war or something like that. But it wouldn't be the, you know, what are the lottery numbers going to be, since that's supposed to be all random. Darryl has texted me, so he's back. So let's go back to Darryl. V01UKZ. Darryl, the question is, suppose you have the opportunity to have the power to read people's minds. Would you take it? So you'd have like ESP, and you would know who's thinking what when they're thinking it. Is that something that you'd want to have, or do you think it could be detrimental, because you've learned some things you really don't want to know. Over to you, Darryl. Well, first off, I wasn't gone very long, and Kevin was, I think, directly after me, so I must have just missed my turn by that much. I just ran to the bathroom. But it depends, Kevin. If it was something I could shut off, you know, to go to sleep at night or something like that, I'd be down for it, because you wouldn't want just everybody else's thoughts coming into your head constantly. You wouldn't want that. It would become too overpowering. I think so, anyway. I think it would become overpowering. But if you could turn it off, then great. Or if it was sensitive enough so you could tune it to just one person, or if it was sensitive enough that if you were, you know, in your own apartment, it wouldn't, you know, it wouldn't keep flooding into your mind, because I think that would be just catastrophic if you could constantly hear what everyone was thinking. And I'd have some fun with it, too. You know, like, if I heard someone say, I heard someone thinking, oh, that guy's a prick or something like that, I'd be like, oh, so that's how you feel, isn't it? And they'd be like, well, what you say? And I'd be like, man, I just heard what you said. And then they'd be like, oh, did I say that out loud, or did I say it in my mind? And I'd be like, no, you said it out loud, man. Like, what the hell? I think that would be fun. But, yeah, like, you know, if you were in, like, it depends on the range, too, I suppose, you know? Because you don't want, you know, voices coming in from all over the city. You know, you'd need a range to this power, I believe. Like, you know, 50 feet, maybe. You know, you don't need to know what people beyond 50 feet are doing. I think it would just be a waste. And plus, you'd get too much on your channel. You know what I mean? It would be way too overcrowded. There'd be way too many voices coming in all at once. I don't know that you could even, you know, detect what was going on if you had way too many voices on the same channel, everybody trying to talk at once. But, yeah, that's my answer to the question, Kevin. If it was more powerful, or sorry, if it had a limitation, and or if you could turn it off, that'd be my only stipulations. Back over to you, V01UKZ. V01UKZ-KM1X, I could see that. I was thinking at the time that as far as limitations, it would be more like, okay, you think of a person. So, you know, pick a person, Oprah Winfrey, and you would just immediately be able to tune in to whatever Oprah Winfrey was thinking about at that time. You know, you were, so that, you know, it wasn't like everybody, you could just turn it on and off. You know, I mean, let's face it, especially guys, we have this great ability of just turning our brains off, just really not thinking about anything or anyone. I mean, you know, obviously if you're thinking about, you know, putting a boat in the water, well, that, you know, that's not gonna, the boat doesn't have a brain, so it's not like you're gonna be reading the boat's mind. But if you're thinking about a person, well, then all of a sudden you could tap into whatever they were thinking. But, yeah, it's cool. I mean, this is a fun question, I think. It can go down many different avenues, so feel free to go with it where you want. VE1, W-I-N, Peter, you have the opportunity to read people's minds. Would you take it? Over to you. I'm taking it, Kevin. I'm driving and I'm mobile, so have a good day. I'm clear. Very good. Have a good day. Drive safe. KJ5, IRQ, Josh, you're next. Do you think you would like to have the opportunity to read people's minds? Over to you. AM1X, this is KJ5, IRQ. No, I don't hear like my own mind. I don't want to hear nothing, right? Nobody else's. Yeah, that's a scary thought. No, thank you. My wife did the same thing. She heard the question and she goes, oh, no, I would not want that. No, I think we're all hypocritical and we put on a forking in front of everybody over what's really inside of our minds. It can either be a very joyful or very scary place. And so that's a personal thing and I don't need to know that. I did want to ask you a question. I believe last Friday that you mentioned you played D&D and I know you're interested in that and thought maybe you could tell us more about that. Whatever. I mean, it doesn't have to be now or nothing. It can be a different net. I just wanted to mention it before I forgot it once again. All right. With that, I'm sending it back to KJ5, IRQ, to K and 1X. Yeah, Josh, I think you asked me that this last weekend, too. It's something that I had never played growing up. Again, it was, its heyday seemed to come about in the late 70s, early 80s. I knew people that did, but I wasn't one of them. And probably three or four years ago, it was a local game store that was going to have a session for people who've never played before. It was like an introductory session. And I asked this buddy of mine, I said, look, if you were up by any chance to ever have played D&D or had any interest in it, there's this thing going on. I'm thinking about going, but I'd rather not go alone. And the guy's like, oh, my God, I love that plate that I got up. My brother and I, we were playing. We'd get our friends and we'd be up all night. I'd love to get going. I mean, I opened a Pandora's box. And now this guy just can't get enough of it. I mean, we play every five or six weeks. He's the dungeon master. He spent all of his waking time just on this. He's recruited a bunch of other teachers at the school that he works at. Even in the summer, they get together on Tuesdays at a game store and they play. It's kind of interesting, but it depends. I mean, different people get into it at different levels. I'm not into it that much. I just assume keep it to once a month, to be honest with you. But it is an opportunity to get out and meet other people. It can be very complex. And again, my interest level is not at the point where I want to be that complex. It would depend. If you've got a game store nearby, check it out. See if they have anything. It's worth looking into if you've got just a little bit of an interest because you could go to one of these introductory things and say, yeah, this is for me. It isn't for me. You'll know probably after an hour or two. So, yeah, it's worth checking out. All right. AA4, H-O, Ron. We're talking about the power to read minds. If you had the opportunity to read people's minds, would you want it? Over to you, Ron. I think I would. Let's see. Orson Welles, he was good at having people think of a number, you know, between one and ten. And he would be able to tell them, you know, what the number was. He would be a high degree of accuracy. He would be right about it or think of an animal. He'd ask a few questions that come with a little effort. And the skills also have to be learned beforehand. I have a little interest in that and I've followed some of them. And there's some things I've picked up on, not a lot, because I never formally tried to learn how to know what somebody's thinking or if what they're saying is deceptive or not. You don't necessarily need a lie detector test. I don't know if that actually falls into the category exactly of what the question is. Yeah, I don't think we'll ever be able to read somebody's thoughts. I don't think that. Yeah, I probably enjoy that. I don't have nothing. Are you going to surprise me at this point? I've seen just about everything. So I could be wrong about that. But I've been desensitized from my past experiences that it wouldn't shock me more. Of course, maybe if there were a serial killer that could be horrible to have to unsee something that you read their mind that they had done. So I certainly would avoid somebody like that. Anyway. Yeah, there's a lot of skills out there in this people who talk about it a lot that I've listened to. All right. So that control. A4HOKM1X. You got to have, I think, a thick skin before you agree to take something like that on because it could easily be something that you regret. So you'd want to give it some thought before you jump right in. But thank you for that. And now we're going to try to see if Jeff is still there. Km4GBC. If you could have the ability to read people's minds, is that something you would want to take on? Would you like to have that ability? Or would you just assume? Keep the mystery. Over to you, Jeff. Hey, Kevin. Km4GBC. Yeah, I think I'd take that. That'd be pretty cool. But I have to admit, Kevin, I already partially have that. I can partially do that now. And if you could turn it on or turn it off, like Ron said, some people are so crazy you wouldn't want to get in their head. Anyway, I have to be able to read people's minds a little bit at my work. Usually they're lying, I can tell you that. Anyway, it's good to hear what went on here this morning. I saw the cartoon that Josh put on Facebook there just now. That's really cool. I like that. That is neat. So anyway, Kevin, back to you. I'm still here for now. Mission accomplished on that first guy. He's going to be with us until Monday morning. He's a keeper. Anyway, back to you, Kevin. Km4GBC. Good morning, everyone. Km4GBC, Km1X. Well, sounds like you've got someone to take care of for the next couple of days. How does that work? When they're in the jail, obviously you've got to feed them and all of that. Do you guys have a cook? How does that all work? Do you do takeout? When the dude gets out, do you send him a bill and they have to pay for the food that they had and stuff like that? How does that work, Jeff? Well, it varies in different sentences, different charges and pretrial. Anyway, it varies in different ways, Kevin. But as far as the Poon goes, they have a company that brings in the food. And that's, you know, it's a big company. It's a big deal. They do probably four or five jails in different counties right here where I'm at. So it's a big outfit. I used to, they used a local guy and he would do all the meals for the jail. He had like a catering company, but he would, you know, just do the basics for the jail. But he got a little too pricey for the county. And the county got this other group that was doing the jail, the two jails in the counties that were beside of us. So they bring them in in paper boxes. And they have these containers, you know, that are nice, but they're disposable. And they have regular food, hamburgers, hot dogs. Sometimes it may just be a sandwich with some side veggies. But they've got a schedule that they have to go by and have to meet. So many, you know, certain rules they've got to follow about the nutrition and so forth. But this fellow was a domestic. So he got a fight with his family in North Carolina. It's automatically a 48-hour hold if you get in a domestic disturbance. It was pretty bad. So anyway, he's staying with us till the 48 hours runs out, which will be 7 a.m. on Monday morning. And I put his coordinate on Monday too, so he'll be going to coordinate 30. So anyway, they've got these different things, different rules they've got to follow. And they have a doctor and a nurse that they can see. There is a charge for that, but it's only like $3 and $5. And if they can't afford it, they get up there to see them anyway. And they're on call. So the nurses are there every day. They give their medication. So they do the intake with the meds when they come in. So they're pretty thorough about it, food allergies and all that kind of stuff. But yeah, while they're in custody, they're the responsibility of the sheriff. So back to you, Kevin Camp, for what you've seen. This is Repeater Station Kilo Avenue. Very good. Yeah, that was interesting. I've always wondered how that worked, whether they had like a kitchen staff or what. Because all I could think of was back in the old, you know, Andy and Mayberry. How did they feed them? And so I'm glad you were able to answer that for me. All right, go ahead, KC2PKG, back to the question at hand, which is dealing with the ability to read people's minds. You've been presented with the opportunity to do that, but is that something you'd want to have? Is that too much power? Could it backfire? Would you take it if you had the chance to read people's minds? Over to you, Gray. K.M.1X, this is KC2PKG. Yeah, with the proviso that you can turn it off. I think that's a really, really good suggestion there. And it was somewhat directable. I've always had trouble working out what people are thinking. Some people can look at another person's body language or watch their faces and stuff like that and really get a good handle on what's going on. Are they accepting what you're saying? Are you believing me? That kind of thing. I can't do that. I don't have that. I look at people's faces and I see a mass of app expressions, little lightning things that go on in their faces and stuff like that. So I'm not really good at reading people. And I wish I was better at it. I really do. So yeah, I would take that. I would definitely take that. With the proviso students, you can turn it off. You can't just let it out with what everybody else is doing. And it's somewhat directable. Like I have to look at the person or something like that and I could do it. I think that would be cool. And if you could turn it off with one bullet, just don't do it. So back to you, K.M.1X. This is KC2PKG. KC2PKG, K.M.1X. Now I think we stumbled upon what could make for a good story, a novel or a movie or something about the person that gets this ability and then all of a sudden they're discovering that there could be some serious drawbacks because they can't shut it off or the limitations aren't what they thought they'd be. And suddenly it presents some problems and some conflict, which you need in a good story. So yeah, I think we're onto something here. And Daryl was right when he touched upon that. Alright, who else is next here? Ask Gray, we go to Rick. K9VFD. What do you think, Rick? You know your life. You know some people that you might want to be able to exercise this power on, this new power if you choose to take it. But is it something that you would want? Would you like to have the ability to read people's minds? Over to you, Rick. Alright, well before I answer that, you said you wanted to ask if I did anything to my bike or whatever. And I'm playing with it. I'm trying to learn all the electronics, the infotainment system, the carplay, all kinds of stuff. But, and then I, we went on a pretty nice ride last Saturday. We wound up going out to Peoria the long way and then we took the long way back and we put on like 200 miles that day. And I decided that I wanted my feet up a little bit. I also wanted the handlebars closer to me so I ordered floorboard risers and then I also ordered handlebar risers. And while I was at it, I ordered a couple LED accent lightings. One both for the front, just some white light trim to finish out the bike and you know, make it look cool. I'm thinking about adding some sequential turn signals but it's a pretty elaborate job. You have to pull the wheels off and the fenders off. There's a lot of work involved in doing it. So I'm holding on by that. That could be a winter project. But as far as the reading people's minds, I'm going to go on a tangent with that. Because my dad, he was in telecommunications for pretty much as long as I can remember. And back in the old days, he was selling business telephone systems. And then by the end of his career, now they're doing Ethernet and fiber networks. And most of the time the contractors that he worked for were in the same union I am. Their local 134 IBEW. So anyhow, one of the things that he would do back, I mean these days I don't know a lot of times they're IP phones and they would do the same thing. But especially in the car dealers. He would get a car dealer and part of the system that they needed was a way for audio surveillance. So basically the systems that he would put in would be able to, you could go to a master station or whatever and actually listen in on that telephone extension. So basically the car dealers would, you know, they're trying to make their deal. They know they're getting close but they're just not quite there. The salesman will go, you know what, why don't you and your wife think about this. And I'm just going to leave for a few minutes and you guys can discuss what's going on here. And that's when the sales manager goes in and listens to the conversation and they can hear what they're willing to do to make the deal. So that's my take on it. And so you can do it. You can read people's minds but you have to use electronics to make that happen. But as far as me having the ability to know what my wife is thinking, oh my God. Especially when I'm being a dick. You know, it's all the week man. I was just no good. You know, I told her, you know, I'm not Rick anymore. Just call me dick. And that was my way of saying sorry. But anyway, I don't know if I want that ability. And you know, maybe with all the, you know, with my project manager acting the way he is, I want to know really why he's doing what he's doing. I think what he's trying to do is speed up production. And it's a way to, you know, it slows it down at first but then it gets things going maybe. I don't know. But anyway, so count me out unless I could turn it on and off and only use it as a, you know, all of a sudden, okay this is on demand. Okay now I want to know what you're thinking. So anyway, back to neck control. K-9 PFD. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo. K-9 PFD, KM1X. Well I would think yeah, yeah, I mean I'm not married but when it comes to spouses, do you really want to know what's going on? I mean there are times where a spouse might be like what is going on? What is he thinking? What is she thinking? But at the same time, you might get scared by it when you find out. So I don't know that I would recommend using it on your spouse for sure. But that's interesting about the car thing. I mean that's eavesdropping if you ask me. Or wire tapping almost. But I suppose if it was legal, it was legal. So it would be interesting to see if that would work if they still do stuff like that today. Let's see, George, KB0, MAI. George we're talking about having the power to read people's minds. And we'll let you interpret that any way you want. But is that a power you think you'd like to have? Over to you George. KB0, MAI. You know that two car dealership thing, I believe that is true. They're going to take any advantage they can. And I can see them doing that. So that's why I want to go into car dealership. I don't say anything to my wife unless we go outside and talk out there. But it's been a while. It's been five years since I've been to a car dealership. I'm very stiff neck when I go to them. You ever watch that movie, Bruce Almighty? He thinks he can do better than God. So God gives him all his powers and he's trying out new things. And all of a sudden he's starting to hear people all over the place in his mind. It gets worse and worse and worse. He's trying to clean out his ears because he thinks he's hearing things. And come to find out, God tells him, well that's prayers. You're God, you have to have the prayers. And he says, well how do you stand it? And God says, well I'm used to it but you only pick it up, the prayers from 40th street to 1st street, New York City or something like that. So you just get a small sample because you've got to start answering these prayers or it's just going to get worse and worse and worse. So I just sent out a typewriter. I guess this is his way of answering the prayers. And he just goes on and on and on. No matter how fast he works he just can't answer all the prayers. So finally he just grants everybody everything. For some reason I keep thinking about that movie when we're talking about this stuff. But I would say myself, no I don't need it. I read people pretty good. Not so much if they're on the air but in person I can read them fairly decently. I prefer that over hearing every thought that goes through their mind. That would drive me nuts. Hey Hal, I got done with all my road work, or yard work. And I've got to take a shower and get ready to get to the pool for my grandson. So eat some breakfast and all that kind of good stuff. So I'm just going to call it quits for the day. Everybody have a wonderful weekend and I guess I'll see you on Monday. JB0MAI. JB0MAI. JB0MAI. KM1X. Well it sounds like you got your work out of the way and it's still bright and early so you've got the rest of the day to play. Congratulations. I'm in the midst of chopping up onions and peppers to go into my spaghetti sauce as we talk about the question. And once I get all the chopping and stuff done then it's just a matter of cooking. And that should be alright. So I'm hoping to have this done by 10.30 or so. And then I can start my playing on the weekend too. Uh, D. KN4. LBF. You've had some time to think about the question, D. And as George said, I mean it does kind of give you some godlike abilities I would think. But is that something you would want if you could? Over to you. This is KN4. LBF. Um, I don't think I would have to, uh, not be soft in order to have it but I would like to have it. And just for, you know, for instance, um, you know, yesterday I had a really good conversation with a friend of mine and she was saying that her best friend, one of her girlfriends died a month ago. And she's been hanging with a crowd in her community since she's been here two years. And she, they all got together in one apartment to go to the funeral. And one of the ladies that she was hanging with said this to another woman, says, oh you see how she is like, you know what I said or whatever. But she heard and she turned around and she said, are you guys talking behind my back? And, um, she told me yesterday she was really devastated because she felt like she wasted two years of her life hanging with people that she thought cared about her. And it was a lie. They just was talking bad things about her. And I would say what's going on through your mind. And not only in reference to friends, family, nephew, nieces, whatever cases, it's just to know who is dishonest and honest with you. Who is selfish? Who is keeping two, three years of your life, 30, 40 years? I mean, I would like to set boundaries. And yes, I would like to have that ability because people are just not honest at all. And, um, I had another instance. I had a friend, let me reset, just give me a second. I had a friend that I thought was a friend of mine. And, um, her husband was my husband's best friend. And then she started hanging out with me. She started inviting me places and stuff to come to find out after four years of being what I thought was my BFF. She just wants to be in the same household to watch her husband. She didn't give two crap about our friendship. I was like, how can that be? How can people use other people like that? So, um, I have to say, yeah, I would like to know what's in your mind and I can have boundaries for I can, um, you know, just, um, make sure that I don't know. I just say yes. Anyway, back to you, Kevin. This is K and 4 LBS. This is D. Kevin 4 LBS KM1X. I think we've all been there, D, where we thought we knew someone and come to find out, you know, we didn't. They weren't the people that we thought they were. Um, that they didn't necessarily, you know, put as much weight on relationship as we did. And so you're right. That is a good thing to be able to have the ability to kind of root out before you invest a great deal of time and energy of your life on a relationship where the other person think about that. Just like when you were dating, you know, just this person like me, I really like this person. Do they like me as much as I like them? And just that whole awkwardness of getting to know someone. If you had the ability to know how the other person felt, think of how much pain that would have saved. So you brought up a very good point, D. Alright, let's go down to Ben, VE3, FBX. You've heard a lot of different viewpoints, Ben. And so we'd love to know what you think now. If you had the ability to read people's minds, is that something that you would want to have? Over to you. VE3, FBX. No, definitely not. Like Dee was saying, yes, people may try to use you or not have the same feelings you do, but that might be a temporary thing. There's a lot of temporary thoughts that enter a mind. I also think there's a lot of dark thoughts and dark minds and I would want to get dragged into seeing all the dark thoughts that people have. Maybe short lasting, maybe a long lasting plan they're working on. I just don't think it would be a fun place to be. Back to you, Kevin. VE3, FBX, KM1X. Well, I like going back to what Dee said. It was a case of an individual that you thought much more of and you thought it was both ways, but it turned out not to be. We all have people in our lives that we kind of more or less put up with. And there may be someone that thinks, oh my gosh, this person is great and we're really good friends when in fact we're just tolerating them more than anything, trying to be polite. So it could get turned on us as well. But that's a good point. Alright, Bill. N9, OFU. What do you think? You had some time to think about this. Is this something that you would want to have the ability to do? Over to you. Alright, well I just read your mind. I knew I was next. So maybe I already have it. I've always thought that would be an interesting trait to have because then you could say more or say less based on what the other person was thinking. So you wouldn't get in trouble or you would know if you were getting somebody upset so you could shut your mouth and stop talking. But I think it would be more trouble than it would be worth. I do like the idea of being able to focus it so you wouldn't hear everything and then be able to turn it on and off. Because sometimes it's better not to know what the other person is thinking. Because like you said, there are times when I look at someone and I think to myself things that I wouldn't say out loud. And there's a reason for that. Because your body has a difference mechanism. And sometimes we make snap judgments that aren't in our best interest. And then after a little while you completely change your mind. So if someone just read your first thoughts, they'd be totally off the mark. So I think the way it is now is probably better. So I would have to go with no, I don't think I'd want to have that ability. Even now I tell myself, I'd want to know if someone was lying to me or not lying to me or something like that. But I think I'm probably better off without it. Alright, and I know if you're back to the cam 1X."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-08T04:49:24+00:00","id":15162,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15161,"text":" Alright, that's weird. Again, the question of the day will be what brings you to the cow-bunging net. And let me hear right here this morning. Alright, you can come every day, once a week, once a month. Inquiring lines would like to know. But before we do the question of the day, I would like to make another round of check-ins. So with that, come now with your call, son, and we will get you logged into the cow-bunging net. Victor, Echo One. W-I-N. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Hi, Victor. My call's up. We, Bill, play rock, paper, scissors to determine who's the better half. And actually, my wife won this morning. Usually she doesn't win. I usually win the rock, paper, scissors. Today she won, so she's the better half today. Ok, so up next is KG7AII."},{"callsign_confidence":0.99,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-10T04:40:52+00:00","id":15721,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15720,"text":" Would you look at that, it hit 4.30 in the morning, Sunday, August 10th. We're out here on the Cowabunga net. And we meet seven days a week, Monday through Saturday with a regular net controller, and Sunday with a rotating net controller. And because my truck is still broke down, I didn't get the truck in until yesterday morning, they ordered the part but it didn't come in. Now it won't come in until Monday. I figured, what the heck? I should take a turn at net controller and give some of the other net controllers a break in case they wanna sleep in or have the day off. So I am in 9-0-F-U, in Jacksonville, out of Phoenix, Arizona, taking over net control this morning. And so far, I just go ahead and made a list of people that I've heard out here. I've got BHVKKY Kevin, good morning Kevin, KB0MAI George, good morning George, VL1UKZ Darryl, KJ5IRQ Josh, and VE1WIN Peter, good morning to all three of you. So if you're out here, you'd like to get on the... I think so. Is this how we usually do it? Because I get out here on Sunday morning, usually someone's calling and getting things going. I'll refer to Kevin and George inside, they're out here. Usually, is this how we usually do it on Sunday morning? This is repeater station kilo kilo seven, November Quebec November, all star node 6222, located in Shelton, Washington. What say you? Well, I guess we got the A of it, right? Okay, take the list. I know courtesy of question usually gets thrown around, but you're pretty good at doing that anyway. So I'm sure in the process today, questions will be asked. I'm at least able, I mean, today, like yesterday, there are days I can actually stay. I really, honestly really can't now in the weekdays. They're just too hectic for the most part. I'm either just too tired or I have to work. Like at least Monday, Wednesday, Friday, I have to definitely work. So I pretty much, those are hard, really hard to do. And then honestly, I kind of just really go out of my way to try to make Tuesday, Thursday for us, but those are harder and harder for me to do. It's almost like weekends are the best. I haven't forgotten the 19th. So if I say I can make that, I can, you know, like I can meet the goals, but yeah, for the most part, some of it is getting tougher and tougher and tougher. But I do like coming here and the weekends right now seem to be a sure shot, that's for sure. All right, well, I should be here and you know there's others here. You said like five. I didn't count. Everyone I guess waits for the net. It seems like they're right. You can't find nobody that I've known before, but everybody's on right now, your debt. So I'll be back to you, Bill. I'll be here. I hope so. I got to get my coffee. You guys talk it up so I can do that. I know that's not a tall order. So back to you, Bill. From Kevin. All right, thank you, Kevin. Yep, misunderstood the question. The question was do we have usually a rotating net control operator out here? And it's usually a, we'll see who is available, who has time to be able to pick it up on a Sunday. Sometimes we'll have three or four people that are ready for the challenge and sometimes we don't. And then we just kind of go around and have a rag too. That's how I usually work on Sunday from when I've been able to get out here. But next on the list we got George, KV0MAI, who is on his Echo Link node. And at first it was a little quiet. When you first came in, the first transmission, I heard you, it was really quiet, but I got better over time. And then once you turned up your mic gain, it came in just like you're running out of time. It came in just like you were on Echo Link. So good morning, George. How are you doing today? Yeah, good morning, Bill. I am doing just fine. Yeah, it's actually quite gorgeous out here on the back porch. So yeah, I know I get that problem. I go over to the digital bands and I have to turn down my gain because it's just way too hot for most people. And then when I switch back over to All Star or Echo Link, I gotta bring my gain back up because it's the opposite. I don't know why you think it'd be about the same, either way, but of course I'm using two different nodes too. So that probably makes a difference. So I got my All Star node and I have an open spot that I use for the other stuff. So anyhow, yeah, you're more than welcome to it since you're off and I was all set up. I had my Coke and my coffee and my two little computers and a list of questions and a whole bunch of box of Kleenex because my sinuses are going nuts today. So I think I'll just sit back and relax and let you do your thing. So only thing is, you talked about letting a neck controller get to sleep in. If you were to text me, like, oh, I don't know, like two o'clock in the morning, I would have slept till three which wouldn't really make any difference now, would it? But that's just my smart ass answer to getting to sleep in on the day I'm supposed to take it. And one more thing, let it drop for a second."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-09T09:59:40+00:00","id":15482,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15481,"text":" ET, you're Victor Echo One, Whiskey, India, November. KN6UYZ I am here. I'm trying to stay awake. I gotta go back to bed and get more than 3 hours of sleep. So I'm gonna pass on the final question but thank you for picking me up. Sorry I didn't answer right away. KN6UYZ. KN6UYZ get some rest man. Get some rest that's very important. And we go to Bill N9OFU. Bill I can't tell you how big this list got suddenly. A lot of people have a lot to say. So for you Bill N9OFU this is KC2BKG. BEEP Yep and my phone keeps cutting out. Sorry I got a guy out here with one of those vacuum trucks vacuuming off the parking lot here. I kept getting knocked off. Come back in, knocked off, come back in. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm walking over to the shop now to see the status of my truck. And hopefully it's done or it's in there getting fixed. So it will be done. And we'll get out of here. And yeah I'll be talking to Daryl some more. And yeah we'll get this all worked up. You know your basic thing was what should we do when we see this happening. And again you know it's in the text box. If you think it's an inappropriate screenshot, forward it to Daryl, myself, one of the net controllers. And we'll take a look at it and see what the deal is. And then, um, yeah that's where I'm going right now. Sorry just got a couple more things on my mind right now. So I'm going to go ahead and pass it back to you. I don't think this was a 70-tier round. So I'll keep listening. But I gotta go find out what's going on. N9OFU. BEEP N9OFU. This is the 73 round. But I think he did an admirable job. So I'm going to move on here to D. DM4LBF. What did you think D? And what are your final thoughts here? This is KC2PKG. BEEP This is KC2PKG. Thanks, Gray. My final thought is you guys are really doing a great job. You're dedicated. You've been here for 16 years. I mean really. You're doing something good. 16 years is a long time. And um, what I, what I, you know, I'm based, you know, there's not a lot of women in here. And what I'm saying is, even though he says, oh she's a woman, she might be emotional. Well I do not wear my emotions on top of my shoulder. Okay, so I'm able to go through some different opinions and stuff like that and different topics without, you know, sitting here and blowing my butt off. You know, and this is just not my personality. But what I'm saying is, you know, I feel the different opinions and topics and learning from other people's experience and journeys and all that is, it helps me. It opens my mind up for, you know, different things. You know, someone could say, oh, don't pick up that charcoal with my finger off. I said, oh right. Yeah, I'm not going to just do that without a tongue now. Right? So you learn from other people's experience. You don't have to burn your finger off. And, you know, I learned about technology in here. I think it was Josh and this other guy that was talking about the GBT5, the AI, you know, just different things. So yeah, I was trying to say in the message box, you know, it's, you know, some things you have to deal with, I mean, you just have to. It just smacks you in your face a couple times. You got to do something about it, you know. And, you know, well anyway, I want to say my 73s, you guys have wrapped it up. You guys are really dealing with it appropriately, I think. And I like the subject and thank you for being here. 73, back to you. This is KN4LBF. Have a great day, everyone. But there's also a blurb. Well, she has a solution for that. She can give you an ornamental photograph instead of a headshot or something like that. So consider if you want to do that and then I want to have you guys take a crack at writing the blurb that goes next to the picture because you like to tell people this is what this person is like. This is who they are and stuff like that, which I think makes the whole thing much more friendly. And we're also talking about putting in a big section, the Calabunga family, which is all the regular hems who get on here every day and somebody might want to look at that and go, oh, so that's what Alan looks like. Or Alan used to do what? You know, this kind of stuff. So but if you have an objection to that, you need to let us know because I don't want to do anything to make you crazy. These are VE1WIN. Final thoughts. Over to you, Peter. Very good. I like to get involved in this. I've had issues with the net before doing some awful things. But you know me. I think we really group. I would like to get in on this meeting. I'd like to be a part of. Yes. Yeah. He's driving. I got tired. Well, we're back in the house. There you go. It's temperature right now is 28 degrees Fahrenheit. So. So. I agree. That was awesome. Back to you. All right. VE1WIN. Casey to. I drive carefully. You got a long drive home after this. Take it easy. Have a nice lunch. Go get yourself a donair. That's what I would like. OK. WB9CSP. Chicago style pizza. Final thoughts from you, man. People don't want to do the quiz. But it is fun. It's a fun quiz, so don't worry about it too much. A little administration and news, over the weekend we upgraded the website to the latest version of the PHP and that didn't go really well. It's one of those things where you say, okay, upgrade and then the clock just spins and spins and spins and spins. So it's fun until about halfway from Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning. And then I had to call Bill and have him get in touch with him. And then we all got in touch with the people from GoDaddy and they said, yeah, it's stuck, we'll fix it. And boom, it's fixed. So I think we're in great shape. I think we're in great shape on that. We also got some help from Gabby too on that. So, all right guys, it looks like it's that time. We're going to go through the quiz now. And this quiz is from the New York Times. And we're going to start out with Peter, V-E-1-W-I-N. Good morning, Amy. Well, good morning, Dana, 33DU, and sending condolences to Teresa as well. Good morning to everybody on the Nudge. Let's see, I just slept in, and today's going to be an exciting day, very exciting, of cleaning out the fridge, or stop working, and I'm not sure why, but upon some good advice, speculating that it might be the condenser coils that needed sawing out, I did unplug the fridge the other day, so today we're going to throw out a lot of stuff, unfortunately. Stuff that had gone bad anyway before we unplugged it, which is how we realized that something wasn't right with the fridge. So anyway, today, probably along with that, I'm going to poke around back there to see whatever I can see while Wilkes poking around. There's an access panel or two. You know, that's why they put access panels there, to access stuff. And at the very least I can look at it, and then see where we can take it from there. You know, friends of ours have suggested, you know, the University of YouTube to diagnose fridge problems. So there we go. So that's going to be the exciting part today, but not right now. Right now what's happening is coffee is being made, grounds have been deposited into the French press, and I'm now waiting for the water to boil, so that's what's going on. Oh, and I wanted to, I am not a paid shill, just like I am not a paid shill for Bob's Quality Meats in downtown Columbia City, but last night I had dinner at Communion, which is a delightful, it's on 23rd near Union. It's a delightful restaurant. Oh, so good. Had some good fried chicken wings, had some good, oh it was like this nectarine summer salad. It was really good, and some excellent mac and cheese. Kind of like southern Creole-ish Louisiana style cooking. So, it was so good. And then had chocolate truffle balls for dessert. So there we go. Communion is a good place. Check it out. If you like to eat. KG9 IQX. Amy, did you say if you like to eat? Was that what you said? Well, KG7AI loves spice. Is that what you said, Amy? Back to you. Yes, yes, if you love to eat. If you are addicted to eating and want to try a new place, KG9 IQX. Okay, I got it. I think we are all addicted to eating. It's a compulsory addiction. It's true, we need it to survive. But someone asked me one time, do you live to eat or do you eat to live? I don't know. Our circumference around our bellies, I would say we probably live to eat. I don't know. We are working on that though. We are both on diets. Okay, KG9 IQX, 33, 73, 88, all the numbers to you. Okay, let's go up and talk to Peter. Victor Echo 1, WIN. Good morning, Peter. That's a shame. Alright, well I'm going to mark that off. If you're on here or want to come back, just let me know. Alright, that brings us down to the bottom of the new check-in list. So now we're ready to roll back up to the top. And, let's see what time is it. Oh, it's just now getting to be 8 o'clock. So we've definitely got time for this round and probably the 73s. So, let me look at my little questions here and see where we want to go now. I'll put four or five questions down. Here's a good one. This will be fun. Do you have a tradition or ritual that you do around the end of summer? What do you get prepared for? What do you look forward to? I can tell you my wife is a fall fanatic. I have to fight with her every August to make her wait to put out her fall decoration. I usually end up losing that battle and sometime around the middle of the month it starts getting put up. This year is no different. I have Hello Autumn sitting right in front of me. I'll post a picture of my wife's TV wall, I guess that's what I'll call it, put it on Discord. But she tends to usher in fall quickly. She is from upstate New York. Misses the apple picking, the corn picking, the pumpkin patches, you know, all that really cool, I call it New England or Northeastern traditions that they do up there. I got the taste of that whenever I lived up there for less than a year and it was phenomenal. Something we don't do down here in Texas. I mean, apple cider donuts, she's saying out loud. And apple cider to begin with, fresh apple cider. Man. Down here in Texas, if you go to a pumpkin patch, you're probably going to a church where they got a bunch of pumpkins sitting on cinder blocks. That's a pumpkin patch down here. We don't do apple pickings. I'm not sure there's hardly any apple trees down here. I don't know if there's any apple orchards. So yeah, it's way different down here. Down here, we look forward to football. Something I probably don't know about me is I am a recovering sports addict. I say recovering in a joking way. I love sports. I don't watch a lot of it anymore because it takes a great too much of my time. I mean, I get into sports. I like the data. I like the stories. I used to be an NFL guy through and through. I am a Dallas Cowboy fanatic. I came home, no joke, from the hospital in a Dallas Cowboy onesie. I have a Dallas Cowboy logo tattooed on my leg. I have everything Cowboy you can think of, but I don't even watch them on me anymore. You know, it's just NFL's not the same. It's not like it was. So I've kind of watched more college these days. But yeah, it's football season. Texas high school football is starting up, and that's a huge thing. If you've never paid attention to it, go watch the movie Friday Night Lights. That's Texas high school football, no joke. We'll take a real quick break. So I'll repeat the question, and we'll start up at the top of the list. Do you have a tradition or a ritual that you always do around this time of the year? I believe the end of fall. What are you looking forward to? I'm looking forward to football, cooler weather, hoodies, soups, and stews. With that, let's move up to, we're going to start with Peter again, since he's at the top of the list. V-E-1-W-I-N. But for now, if he's available, we'll go to VE1WIN, Peter. I know Peter doesn't have, well, I don't think he has any pets, because they do a lot of traveling. And that's one thing about pets, if you've got pets, you don't do a lot of traveling, or you take the pets with you. But, um, are you available, Peter? Are you out there? Go ahead. Yeah, I'm here, Bill. I don't have any pets. I had a dog. He died, uh, 2012. But I haven't had any pets since then, so here you go. Yeah, I like Daryl's cat. I'm shocked. He was even shocked when I sat down and so-so came over. As close as you did that time when I came over there last year. And he said she never goes near anybody, not as close as she came to me. She was, like, not that far from me. So here you go. And, uh, Tilly was a good cat. He came over and saw me, and so did Shadow, I think. Yeah. Yeah, I don't have that much else going on here, Bill, so. Just thinking, I'm just watching the Canada games now. The Brunswick versus Nova Scotia in the baseball. Uh-uh, so there you go. That's what we're doing right now. Gonna get a shower here soon, though. Not for a little bit, but there you go. I'm gonna do a little work on my tower, I think, today. Try and get some more holes into the pipe, so there you go. So back to you there, Bill. Go ahead. Hi, thank you, Peter. Yeah, we, uh, we were a lot, we were cat people. Well, my wife was cat people, so we had cats for most of our time together when we didn't have pets. And then, uh, when my other daughters started getting into the dog business, uh, we ended up with, uh, Lucy, which was our first dog. And so we had a dog and a cat, and then we moved out here, and we lived at our friend's house. Uh, we brought the dog, but we weren't able to bring the cat, so the cat stayed with our son. Um, and the cats started out as our friends when she was living with us. And then when she moved to Arizona, she moved into a place where she couldn't bring her cat, so we ended up with the cat. But the, uh, my son was the final, uh, caretaker of the cat until, uh, she had to be put down because of her age and cancer and everything else. Um, but, uh, and now we have no cancer in the hands of two dogs. Peter Station Kilo Kilo 7, November Quebec November. All-Star Note 6222. Located in Shelton, Washington. And, uh, well, I'm not, uh, I'm gonna save that for later. But, uh, I will go to D, uh, KN4LBF, because she's been waiting patiently, and she's still out there. So, uh, and she does not have, uh, uh, scorpions. Uh, she has, uh, uh, black snakes in the alligators. Yeah, I'll stick with the scorpions. But over to you, D. This is KN4LBF. Thanks. Yeah, we have black snakes, and, um, the only way I can describe it is the snakes that are here, their normal size is as large as, um, a 40-inch men's belt, because we tried to loop it one time. It didn't work. But, yeah, they're very, and, um, they're very, they're total muscle. I picked one up one time. It was total muscle. And, um, the alligators, now I never saw one or two recently. And, um, we were walking to walk the dog, you know. There's no sign saying alligator. Watch out, nothing. You know, I guess it's a, it's a four-hour-to-thing. You just know there's alligators. So, we went, and this huge 15-foot one came in front of our truck, and I thought he was going to bite the tires. So we're waiting for him to cross over. We were so shocked. We didn't even take a picture of it. It was so big. It just looked at us, and then it kept on going. It was crossing the reserve pond. There was one pond here, and the other one he was going to. And I said, they would gulp up like a little chihuahua. That's how big it is. So, I'm like, they should have signs around here, because you got a lot of people coming in from different places, visiting, and they don't know. Those things are hanging out, you know, waiting for dinner. And, um, I think you, hold on, I'm going to reset. Just give me a second. I think you guys were talking about pets and animals, and I got myself, um, I had to. And, you know, we put him down because he was really, really suffering. But his lady, Penny, which I got from the ASPCA, they warned me about her. They said, listen, she barked. So, the barking was not no problem, because whenever she saw anything wrong, she barked and we looked. But she was definitely a lead. And she got so bad with making sure that she protected us that, you know, it was even a problem to take her to the doctor. We had to muzzle her. And, um, every time we took her anywhere, the red flag would go up that she's a problem, and we couldn't leave her anywhere. So, we haven't gone on vacation in a long time. And even going into a hotel with her muzzled, it's a problem because the moment she saw any other animal or anything, she would just, like, want to go. So, um, we're, you know, we still love her, you know, because the way I see it, you know, even though she was a problem child, um, I have to look out for her because that's all she has is me. Us. You know, I wish I had someone to take care of me when I was a kid. I had a long, terrible journey as a child, you know. My parents were not good and, you know, they shouldn't have had kids."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-22T04:35:47+00:00","id":21326,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":21325,"text":" VE1WIN"},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-22T09:30:18+00:00","id":21606,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":21605,"text":" I love the picture on your Q-Reset profile there too, the little beachy scene. Thank you for showing up, Adam. Always good to have you around. Peter, VE1, W-I-N, this year from you too. V01, U-K-Z, that's a terrible story. That is the saddest thing I ever heard. It's awful. And KV0, M-A-I, Trucker George. So, let's go to Peter and find out. Peter, how was your weekend? And what's going on for you this week? Yeah, morning. Graham had a good weekend. I'm heading back to Halifax today with Daddy. He's got two appointments. He wants me to drive him back to Halifax. So, we're gonna make a D-Trip out of him. I think we'll head to his anyway. Drop a few things off. I get to drive a Lexus. Whoopee. I don't know his Lexus yet, so this should be interesting. But he's trying to sell his Lexus too, because his wife bought a brand new Lexus and she's driving it back from Ontario. So, here's a Lexus. This is a 2015. He wants $12,000 for it. So, it's not a bad price, I don't think, but it's got 250-something-thousand kilometres on it. So, there you go. Back to you, Graham. I want to eat some breakfast here. I'm gonna be leaving here at about 9 o'clock. So, I'll eat my breakfast here, Graham, and then I'll stick around until I leave. So, back to you, Graham. That is cool. V-E-1-W-I-N. That's K-C-2-P-K-G. And, uh, that sounds like a good price. What, 200-and-some-odd-thousand kilometres on it? They should last, though. Cars like that are built to last. They're built at a slightly higher standard. It makes a big difference. Alright, well, we'll go on to Darrell. Oh, you've got the most depressing story of the day. That is really too bad, Darrell. So, that was your weekend, making that discovery. What else is going on with you? This is K-C-2-P-K-G. Over to you, V-O-1-U-K-Z. Oh, not much, Greg. Yeah, I was pissed, man. I was pretty pissed. First, I was confused. And then, once I looked at it, and my dad looked at it, it was clear. Someone had done it. It was sabotage of some sort. And, uh, that was my weekend, man. I was so depressed over this shit. Yesterday, I literally took a sleeping pill in the daytime. And, uh, slept most of the day, and then stayed awake all night. Uh, last night. I haven't slept, um, last night. I did yesterday in the afternoon, so, I mean, I'm tired, but I'm not really tired. I'm just more angry. The reels are spinning, man. I mean, I've got stuff here I could settle, you know, to cover it. But, I really don't want to be doing that, you know, without other things that I love, so, it's just a pain in the ass, man, is what it is, to be honest with you. But, I don't know what I can do about it, so, there's no sense in really dwelling on it. It's just so fresh in my mind that it's, you know, it just got me so pissed off. And, uh, yeah, anyway, what do you do? Well, yeah, it looks like the exhaust is completely snapped off. I don't know if you know, like, how they, you know, like, single cylinder motor works, like, on a motorcycle. The exhaust is, like, bolted to the motor, and then it's, like, it's curved, and then it goes toward the back of the vehicle. Well, right where it connects to the motor, one of the bolts are completely snapped off inside the motor, like, where it bolts on. So, a buddy of mine said that it's probably, well, it's going to need a new exhaust, chances are, because the old one is all dented up. And, uh, the, possibly, the top of the motor, like, just the head part, uh, the motor itself is still fine. I mean, I went out and I started up, and I started up first full, good to go, let's go ride. But I noticed right away it was really loud. And, uh, when I went to, you know, when I started riding it, it was really, really loud. And I could hear a rattling, and it was the exhaust pipe, man. So, yeah, you can't even ride it the way it is now. It'll literally burn up the guts of the motor if it's ridden the way it is now. So, I was told, don't even start it, don't even move it. So, I don't know, man. It had to be done when all that crap was going on over the last couple months with my neighbors and whatnot. Someone probably thought it was my neighbors and gave it a kick. That's what it looks like was done with my dad sitting. It looks like someone kicked it and landed right on the side of the tailpipe and just snapped it off. So, I don't freaking know, man. I'm just disgusted. But anyway, hopefully someone else has got some happier news today. VL1UKZ, I get on the positive side, let me reset. It's sunny, and we're finally starting to get some warm temperatures up here. We've got 22 degrees Celsius right now. It's a nice morning here. This is like the part of the summer, man. Prime riding time. And, no, that ain't gonna happen. VL1UKZ. VL1UKZ, this is KC2PKG. You know what? I haven't seen it, but I bet somebody hit it with a car. They just drove into it and then turned around and went away. Because to do that kind of damage to snap off a bolt on the exhaust, I don't think you can do that with a kick. I mean, it's a trail bike. It's built tough. So, I would be suspicious if somebody either backed into it or hit it from the side, something like that. And that's really too bad. I don't know if it's pretty, that bike has served you pretty well. You might think more about replacing it for that kind of money rather than fixing the old one up. But, it'll be up to you. You get to think about it now for a very long time. KCOMAI, George, this is KC2PKG. How was your weekend? And what are you doing this week? This is KC2PKG, over to you, George. Yeah, it can't be zero in the air right here this morning. You know, everybody. It's a little starting today, but I'm sure it'll get better. How about off getting into it this morning? I thought I rebooted my phone when I was able to get in. I don't know what the heck was causing that problem. It was on my end and a few dropped limbs. I don't know if it was anything like that. My try has been fun, huh? The weekend was just fine. We had a good weekend. I didn't really do anything special. I just got out and cut the graph. I did it all at one time and it was probably a little bit too much for me. I wound up burdened in life. I'm going to hold up as long as I used to. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November to November. I'll start Kilo 6222. About half a day, but still a better Kilo 6222. He had a grandson come over and spend the night. He was still just talking to me. It wasn't scheduled, but he just called up and said, hey, can I spend the night? Yeah, sure. I'm going out. And what else? Did the, I moved to a reset. I've been methurellic at GVT for several months now. And I've always been curious with the plastic gimping. I know the days went up to chat GVT. GVT. I'm quite better, smarter, more usable, supposedly. I just decided what the hell. So I went ahead and did a monthly subscription. And I'm reaching for a couple months to see if I can be a good city editor. I think it's worked out well for money. They kind of give stuff. Do a lot of editing on there. And a lot of research. It seems to give them a lot more. Would you just get better at parking? Yeah, but we'll see. It's just also not shut me down after a few tries. That was one of my biggest problems. I started researching stuff. So I'm asking questions and this, that, and the other. All of a sudden I say, oh, you can come back in about 14 hours. And that bothered me. So, you know, if it's a good day, they do have a plan now where you can buy yearly for like $200. So you save $40 off a year. But I just want to go off right off the bat and pay for it. I want to see if this is a viable thing for me for what I'd like to do. Other than that, I'm just, you know, going to be driving the truck for the rest of the next four days. I like to put you in. Counting the days. Counting the days. I'm not going to do this anymore. You found out me. Changing up my CDL license and never, ever looking truck again. Anyhow, back to net control. KV0MAI. KV0MAI. Yeah, you shortened that recently. Aren't you down to like a year now? And then you're going to retire? I thought you said something like that. Refresh my memory. This is KC2PTG. Yeah, I was hoping December of this year. I'm still working out the medical side. I think I got that all solved. But I'll go for sure by the end of this year. And it's going to be okay for me to take care of him. But I guess not. We're looking to go later in June. So, yeah, less than a year. Well, that's great. That is great. It's nice to know that the end is nigh. Alright, if you'd like to join in on the conversation on the Monday morning, August 11th edition of the Calabunga Net, come down with your call sign.
