They are just here. Excuse me, Barbara. I should have waited and taken a bite of my toast. There, let her down. Good morning everybody. We've got 15 degrees right now, I have 19. Same as yesterday, basically. That's 58 and 67 Fahrenheit. Overcast? We're here at Supreme. It's about noon time. Birthday celebrating? Yeah, well, I'm feeling so we need to make a deal about my 60th. I think, I can't remember. Anyway, I share my birthday with a girl at work. But ever since the pandemic, she's been working from home. She's a sales rep. This is Repel. We know it forever. Celebrating together anymore. And in June. June is a very busy month for us. It starts off with my stepmother, Marg, on the first. My wife Tracy on the second. Grandson Canyon on the sixth. Granddaughter Dawson, his sister, on the eighth. My son, Will, on the twelfth. And finally, our grandson Brody on the fifteenth. Yeah, that's nuts. And we only make a big deal about the ones that are like, you know, first of the fifth or sixth or seventh decade. And when we retire, hopefully it'll be in three years. We'll see. Hey, you. Not much going on today. I broke, I made the mistake of leaving my amp over at Robert's place. So I've been relegated to my acoustic bass, which I have no problem with. But I was trying to get it tuned properly and the next thing you know, I break a string. And I don't have any spares. In fact, the second one I've broken. So anyway. Yeah. Back to you, Barbara. 73, everybody. Having a great day. K7VR VA6GRZ. As Barbara said, go here and head to Alberta. VA6GRZ in June sounds like a really, really busy month in your family. But you know, like Dale, it sounds like the birthdays are kind of woven into the family fabric, as it were. It's not something that you guess at. You're going to know when everyone's birthday is. So good deal. And quit breaking strings. Anyway, I hope you have a good rest of your day. It's always a pleasure to hear from you. And have a good one. All right. Okay. Next up, we're going to pick up a friend in New Jersey. I got your call sign now. KV2QHL. And thanks for your help on that, Joe. How you doing? That's what I was saying to Robert with my lame ass impression of Joey Tribbiani of Friends fame. Well I think I pretty much put the cold in its place. Maybe I'll take a couple more day times. We'll see. Life is back to work. We've got 15 degrees right now. High of 27. 58 and 81 in Fahrenheit respectively. And sunny. This is repeater station. November Quebec November. How's you doing? Until we come, I was telling him about, we were talking about inner text box. If you read the text box we'll put notes in there to you too. Oh Larry's computer. Yeah. KDA RER. Anyway, I don't usually put anything up. I'll watch. I might watch occasional video but I usually wait until after the next so I don't open up any other programs except for maybe a website. But nothing with audio because that will cut things down. Anyway. Yeah I'll just be working on, working on songs for my audition tomorrow. And I gotta call my chiropractor's office and get an earlier appointment tomorrow so that I'm not rushed for time tomorrow night and dinner time. I gotta go to the south side for my audition with this band. And after 7, well after 7.30, quarter to 8, there we go. Anyway, hey I got a question for somebody out there. The four corners where there's four states meet all in one spot, is there anything there that's kind of a marker or a recognition of it where you can step into four states all within say 10 feet of each other kind of thing? I got N7RHV, AG7MR, JC7YFV, VA6DRZ, V01UKD, Short Time DC3FDX, N0HC, VE4YYL, and JG7WA. So let's go up to our Short Timer, V01UKD. Hey, good morning, Darrell. How you doing, buddy? Wow, I started talking without pushing the button. That doesn't work. I just wanted to jump in and say hello, Art, and wish you a good morning. And that goes for everybody on the net. I hope everybody's having a good round out for the weekend, or a good start for the weekend, I guess you could say. Because it's only Saturday morning, yet Saturday and Sunday left yet. I haven't done any camping yet this year, strangely enough. I like to go camping from time to time. It's not something I, you know, have got to do 365 days a year or anything, but camping is definitely nice from time to time. Other than that, man, I just wanted to let you say hello, so I'll put it back to you. 7-3, V01UKD. I thought I was done. Sorry. Hey, Darrell, yeah, you kind of froze things up a little bit, so there you go. So I had to wait for right y'all to get you just so there you go so I can get back in here. But anyhow, buddy, if you can hear me, take care, buddy. And we will talk at you later. 7-3 for now, and have yourself a great day. So with that, let's see. Let's move up to the top of the list. M7, RHC. Hey, good morning, family. How you doing? I'll see what happens. I brought them all with me. Good and fine, those jackkins. And then I come in and there they are. Everybody can probably get that from getting a cup of coffee, like you said, or tea. In my case, just a little bit of water because I haven't crawled out of the sack yet. And the water bottle is the first thing I grab in the morning to get rid of that dry mouth from that CPAP machine. So, yeah, but then I can talk. Trying to talk with that thing around there, my daughter calls me and asks, Oh, the internet isn't working. Like, I'm going to do something about it at 10 o'clock at night? I don't think so. You know, you're not going to get a hold of anybody and try to talk with them. But it was fun. So I finally got a treat. I'll worry about it in the morning. I ain't worrying about it tonight. So anyway, I went to the ticker doctor yesterday. Everything's kosher with him. And I'm doing good, I guess. So, but he wants to bring it up to date. He wants to do an echocardiogram somewhere down the road. And it's been a while. So everybody's happy. I'm happy. Happy pappy. Oh, wow. So that's it. I haven't got a whole heck of a lot starting to ramble. So there you go. Grab one of those micro bandwaps. There we go. Now the mic's 99.9% germ free for the next 24. And seven RHV back to net. All right. Thanks a lot for wiping down the bike. Yeah. There goes out there in the middle of the night. You can do about it. So there you go. The only thing you can do is get on their site and see if maybe there's an outage somewhere. That's about all you can do. Just go to sleep. That's one way to get all the kids off the Internet. Shut them all down at night. So there you go. So they have no choice but to go to bed. All right, pappy. Thanks a lot for checking in. Let's go down here and try 87 MR. Good morning, Mr. Terry. How you doing? This is repeater station. All right. I'm going on here this morning. We're going up to about 87 degrees here. I have a track. I got sunshine. So that means that the clouds are already dissipating this morning. And that's a lot of going on. I'm looking for packages. All this government stuff. The VA line. I ordered some space for me from the VA. They won't be until Tuesday. And the other ones are already going away. It's going to be an interesting weekend anyway. So as of now we're doing pretty good. And the fire up in Oak Ridge on the East side of Oak Ridge is almost contained. The last time I heard from my brother who's on the family beach. I think while we were shot I got a feeling that the railroad probably started it. Because the railroad tracks are actually going to be there. Anyway, maybe we finally got one in the fire dock and the ridge. Alpha-epicosaur and micro-omeovac. And ATH, so in the group. Thank you for bringing me in because you can't pick me up. Alpha-epicosaur and micro-omeovac tonight. Hi there Mr. Terry. Good to hear you this morning. I don't know. I don't think I heard what started that one up there. I don't know if it was. Was it trains or maybe a lightning strike or something? But it's hard to tell. So we'll say 73 to you and we will talk at you later. With that let's move on down to the K-7 YFE. Dale, good morning. Well, top of the morning there aren't any rest of the net. Well I just about gave you the wrong call so I named ATH-J, K-7 YFE. And I figured I'd get up out of that nice comfortable bed. Put my shoes on my feet. Then get up and get some coffee down now. I don't want to be lazy. I was going to go to breakfast this morning but I might make it that way over at Denny's. Where they usually have it every Saturday morning. But transportation being a travel problem, it makes you a problem to try to get over there. Since I live way across town from Denny's restaurant. And yeah, I've walked over there a couple times. With one hand for a good walk I'll tell you. Otherwise the day seems to be kicking off okay. We're getting a good start here. Coming into the net and saying hello to everyone here. That's pretty much all I got. So I encourage all to keep coming back and keep up the good work. And with that I'm going to have to go get a little bit of coffee. So I'm going to go ahead and send the mic back to you. And drop it for us while we're doing a little extra wipe down of it there. Micro-band wipes always come in handy. Better than just as good as a spray. But the spray goes everywhere. The wipes, they put the chemical or whatever right where it's supposed to be. In case you suffer while I beat back to you. Alright there Dale, alright Dan. Go make yourself another pot of coffee. And hey coffee is always good. Good first cup in the morning. So there you go. The stronger the better is what I say. So anyhow Mike you take care. And well maybe you'll get over there to Demi's and get breakfast this morning with the guys. So there you go. So we'll say 73 for you from us here at UJ Chair buddy. And we will talk with you later. Alright with that let's move on down to VA6-GRZ. Hey Bill good morning. November 8th. Tango Hotel Juliet VA6-GRZ returning. Hi Art. Everybody on the net? Yeah I actually decided to get up early this morning. Get back up a little bit early this morning. Had my breakfast already. I got my visual therapy appointment at 1020. So I wanted to come down here on the net for a bit. And go talk to another ham on the radio that I have talked to in a while there. So and of course there's no action happening on 6 meters. So anyway oh we've got currently 16 degrees, 525, 1677 Fahrenheit. Sun and cloud, 30% chance of showers and possibly thunderstorms. Probably tonight. That's usually when it all comes out. So and we'll go shop and after I get back from my my physiotherapy appointment. Yeah it was fun. It was kind of interesting Joe talking to Missy about foot and ankle injuries. So I'm living that right now. It's like okay I can't keep doing this ice on ice off BS for keeping the swelling down. Or get rid of it. So we'll see what the physiotherapist has to say. Unless everybody out there knows. I know salt is not good for swelling. So forget about the Epsom salts in cold water. Won't work. So there we go. Okay 73 everybody. Have yourselves a great day. Any THJ VA 6th chair in Edmonton, Alberta. Alright dear Bill. Alrighty buddy. Thanks a lot for checking in. Hopefully your ankle gets better and stuff like that. So yeah I know. Every once in a while my wife will bring me a tub of Epsom salt water back here. So I can stick my right foot in there and try to get whatever swelling is in there down. So there we go. But we'll talk at you later buddy. You take care. Alright with that let's move on down here to VE3FBX. Good morning. How you doing? Good morning. It is VE3FB. Bravo X. Morning's getting going. Coffee's done. Just about to start reorganizing and re-wiring my little shack. I'm a new ham so going through things a few times and getting everything set up. Gonna be around this thing all day but gonna have my hands full. Back to med control. Alright dear Bentley. Alright buddy. Good to hear you in. Thank you very much for correcting me on that one and that's what happens when... When I don't pull the cotton out of my ears. So there you go. War turned up to a zero day. It's one of the two. But we got your call corrected in the log. So there you go. Alright buddy you take care. Get that shack straightened around the way you want to do it. And we will talk at you later buddy. Take care. With that let's move on down here to N0HC. Hey good morning Clem. How you doing? This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7 November... Good morning King Arthur. N0HC. What's wrong with that? Anyway I'm looking at my dog."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-09T08:13:50+00:00","id":15428,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15427,"text":" A6GRZ, KC7FNW. KC7FNW, VA6GRZ, um, ABC, how you doing? Hanging in there, I kept trying to recheck in the net to let you know something and they wouldn't let me in, so I thought I'd just get on and tell you. Um, um, the ankle thing, um, ice, um, is pressed for the ankle when you've got swelling. Um, they, they recommend that, um, just don't do it for too long. Like, 20 minutes, 15 minutes is the best. Get, like, a towel or something like that. Rub the ice in the towel so it doesn't, you know, get, um, too close to the skin. But for swelling, um, yeah, it's, it's always, um, ice. Even after my, um, surgery, they, they have been putting ice in between my, um, boot for my ankle to keep the swelling down. There you go. It's ice. They say, I don't know about, uh, for ankle, so, but probably my physical therapist, I'll have to ask them on Monday, but, um, They used to say ice something for, like, 15, 20 minutes and then put heat on it. So, but I don't know if, like, if you've, um, done what I did, if the heat is a good idea, but they're still saying that ice is the best idea. Casey 7 FMW. Uh, Casey 7 FMW. Yeah. I had to double check myself on whether I had your calcite right. Yeah, it's right there in front of me. Yeah, mine is, uh, mine is just on my, on my foot, uh, right above my toes. And, uh, yeah, I, I should be alternating between, um, hot, cold and hot. So, yeah, okay, so that's what I gotta do. And, uh, and, and see if my physiotherapist has any suggestions as well. So, I should be, uh, heading back upstairs here in a few, um, so I can get finished, get ready, head out the door just after 10 o'clock. So, um, yeah, it's, um, it's a, it's a real pain in the foot, I tell ya. So, there we go. Alrighty, yeah, uh, I did mine for 20 minutes. Um, off and on. So, I guess I'll do the same for hot packs as well. So, do, do hot then cold then hot, or do cold then hot then cold then hot. So, there we go. Okay, and, uh, I've been text-boxing, uh, messages with, uh, DB1YB, the scout, uh, Jordan Webster. Oh, yeah, they just put that in the, uh, the Jordan website. So, uh, good, I'll have to make a note of that, uh, for when, um, we do Jordan in October. I haven't been able to get, uh, um, to, um, be, uh, connected with, um, them, but, um, at least I, uh, I got the, uh, six-meter rig going, but it's not, um, the conditions have been, um, not good. So, I just want somebody local to try to check in with me, but, he said, nobody's using six-meter anymore. Everybody's using on HF, HF, or VHF, but even the VHF band is pretty quiet, so. Alrighty, good hearing, Missy. Good hearing you again. And, uh, oh, did you figure out what song you were going to put into the contest? Not yet. I'm getting close, but I could still use the suggestions, um, but I'm thinking, um, maybe Coffee Girl. People keep telling me that's what they want me to do, but I, I don't know, um, but maybe Coffee Girl on my way to leave, but I think that would make me cry because of what's going on with her. I just found out yesterday that the friend that's taking care of her isn't giving her her thyroid medication correctly, and that's why her thyroid's low. I tried to talk my friend into, you know, give it to her with cheese, don't give it to her with soft dog food, because it doesn't digest correctly, and it's not going through a bloodstream. My friend's like, oh, I'm going to do it the way I want, and I'm just like, you killed my dog, I'm going to hurt you, you know what I mean? So, um, I'm very upset about that, and I'm trying to find a new place for Linda to go, so it's a scary times for sure. Um, anyway, so I'm serious, I'll let you go, get ready for your appointment, so have a great day. I'm going to try and find some coffee. Casey 7F, I'm Debbie Uravi, player in your final."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-10T07:40:18+00:00","id":15769,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15768,"text":" Alright, this is who I copied this round. I got Joyce there, KC7LRS, short title here at the top of the list. I got Terry87MR, N7RHV, VA6GRZ, KD7WA, and KC7FMW made it this round. And like I said, we'll go with Joyce there, KC7LRS from KD7GECMNET. Good morning. Good morning there, Gina and everybody on the net. And yeah, Rosie's going to be getting up here pretty quick. I stayed overnight with Ms. Ginn, had a great fun evening. And Joe is busy getting something ready to send back. It was all broken and he had to order. So anyway, kind of a busy morning and a hot one. I don't think we'll go out on the porch this morning and just have some brekkie and get the day started. And so that was quite a close call. It would be a wonderful deal for Bud there and his friends gambling. Wow, that was something. Anyway, Enroy and Sue have continued to have a great time over there. I had a dream last night. It was so vivid. It was over on the coast and I could even smell the air. So I thought, boy, I could have more dreams like that. Anyway, everybody have a great day to day. And back to Gina, KC7LRS. All right, Joyce, always glad to get you in on the net here and hopefully you have a wonderful day. Stay cool there on the porch with your friend Rosie. And hopefully the item that needed to be returned got all sorted out yesterday and get that back in the mail for a refund. So you have a good rest of your Sunday. Glad to get you in with us today. And now we'll go to the top of the list with Mr. Terry, 807MR. Good morning. Good morning from Alpha Alpha Seven Micromio. Joyce, I almost sound like a spirit walker. Experience. Yeah. When I was really young, I was luckily out of it. I did stuff like that because I went places with my mom and dad for some reason. I felt like I had been there before. But anyway, we're going to go get you. We got ourselves all washed off. We washed off a lot of good stuff. I checked on the FTX1F 100 watt and the 5 watt looks like they're going to be a little bit out of my budget. My son will die when he gives me some money. Oh, shame. I shouldn't expect that, should I? Anyway, we got a lot going on here. Looks like we got sunshine coming over the hill. There's sunshine around the trees that I can see through the window. One thing that I keep opening on the window. With that and good to hear everybody out there, this is Alpha Alpha Seven Micromio. Before I start, there it comes. This is the stuttering. I guess it's going to be a singing day this afternoon. Back to the group from Alpha Alpha Seven. I'll take a trip and that leaves a ration. Have a great day. I'll be listening to Alpha Alpha Seven. I'll call me on back. Alright there, Mr. Terry. We're glad to get you in the net here. Do you have a good rest of your Sunday? Always good hearing from you. Next, I've got Pappy in 7RHB from KB7GEC in the net. Good morning. Good morning to you too there, Gina. And everybody else here on the friendship net. So yeah, I just spent the majority of the day yesterday just watching the grandkids. Or the grandkids and their friend, I should say. He cut apart his quad because he bought a bigger engine for it. He needed to weld it all back together. Can he use your weld or grandpa? They say it. I'll be watching you. We got it pretty much all back together again. There's still some areas he wants to fill in and strengthen a little bit. We ran out of wire. Got about another row of wire before we could do anything else. And I said that's on him because he's up my whole row. Probably better than half a pound worth. Anyway, thank goodness it's not too overly expensive. Kid actually, I wasn't sure if he knew what he was doing, but he did all right. So a couple of places I assisted. So, you know, make sure you got it, project. Grandpa, the big grandkid got on it and it didn't break. So yes, it's pretty sturdy. Anyway, that's what I did. Then I went and made a hamburger for dinner and said to heck with it. I was done for the day. So there you go. It looks like it's over. It's going to be a little bit cooler. Nice day out there. So anyway, have a good one everybody. And we'll grab that micro-ban wipe over here. I found some. Now there's no overspray. So we just wipe the mic down with the micro-ban wipe here. 99.9% germ free from the next 24. And seven RSV. Back to that. All right there, Papi. Well, thank you for the clean microphone and those wipes sure are handy. So it sounds like quite the project there. Welding the quad once you got the bigger motor in. But with your supervision it sounds like it got completed mostly. And it held up to the sit on it test. So do have a good rest of your Sunday and thanks for taking time to be with us this morning. All right, next I've got Bill. Bill VA6GRZ from KV7 GEC of the Met. Big morning there, Bill. KV7 GEC VA6GRZ. Good morning, Gina and everybody on the Met. We've got 18 degrees right now. High of 25 and 65 and 77. And cloudy and a little bit of sun. 60% chance of showers and maybe a thunderstorm. But it's been a few days since we've had one. And luckily the grandkids came over yesterday and helped mow the lawn for us. We'd wacked the edges. And a couple of other spots. And I had my physiotherapy appointment. And we're switching to walking with a cane. Although I may keep using my crutches because there's times when my foot is a little bit overworked and painful at times. So I've got to take it easy on it still. I figure next week we'll start walking without the boot. But I don't know. I'm still on the fence about it. I see my surgeon at the end of the month. So there we go. And what else? Not much else going on today. So we did our rooster shopping yesterday. And we went to Ben's Meats. They opened up a new location closer to us. And they got a deli in there as well. We spent almost $90 on just four items yesterday. We even got a... Yeah, we picked up a T-bone steak as well. It's been marinating since yesterday so we're looking forward to cooking that tonight. Probably better than the stuff we normally get at the supermarket. So, anyway. Yeah. Glad your pickles are doing well. I don't know if the Blue Jays beat the LA Dodgers yesterday. So, here we go. 73, everybody. Have yourselves a good day. GED 7, GEC VA 6, GERS. Here in Edmonton, Alberta. Alright there, Bill. Sounds like you're doing well with your physical therapy there. And walking around with your mobility and using the cane there probably a little faster. So hopefully that continues to go well. And enjoy that T-bone there for dinner. Always good hearing from you. Alright, up next, I've got Roy in Florence, KD 7, WA. Good morning."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-10T08:00:53+00:00","id":15774,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15773,"text":" about hot dogs. There was a place called the Junkyard Dog. I've got to tell you, the best dog out in the biggest, all big hot dogs I've ever seen. A friend of mine used to call them round stakes. I called him the Junkyard Dog and I paid him $10.50 for a footlong with almost a quart of chili on it. It was cheese on top. Anyway, that thought just drove off the left thing. Back to that, I guess I'm done. I'll take a seven micrometer back to back control. That's a great regular day. 87MR. Alright there, Mr. K. Hopefully that place is still starting up really good hot dogs for folks of the native who's there. Thank you for the reach. I helped chase in the way of those crickets. Alright, next I've got Jim, W-8-8-H-U-B. Good morning. Good morning, Gina. Katie's serving G-E-C-W-A-8-H-U-B. I'm just back from church. We had our after church service, our whole gathering with coffee and good yeast. Anyway, so I got home and I stripped off my long pants and shirt and everything and got into shorts and t-shirts. I'm comfortable again. Anyway, that's pretty much it. Glad I could make it in before you... I thought I might. It's somewhere before the end of the hour I get in. So thank you very much and I'm pleased to get in and talk to you. Everything's fine here. I just took the red ribbon off my... I guess it was red, yeah. Off my driveway. It got seal coated yesterday. And now I can use my garage again. So that's pretty much it from here. 73, 87G-E-C-W-A-8-H-U-B. Alright there, Jim. Well, glad that your driveway's been maintained and you're back to being able to get up there to the garage. Glad to have you in. I made it in after church there. Always good to hear you, Jim. And do have a good rest of your Sunday there and your comfy shorts and t-shirts. Always good. Alright, next I've got Hunter, KK7NQN from KD7GECMS. Good morning. Well, good morning. This is Hunter, KK7NQN. I'm ready to launch a pretty ambitious project here. I started almost exactly a month ago now on what I call the KK7NQN project. Just because, well, it's easy to call it. And that's basically a logger that runs on my all-star node here and transcribes audio and logs the call plans as seen. If anyone's curious to see that, that's at KK7NQN.net, or you can look it up on my QRC page. Anyways, I finally got that working to where it's usable. And now I want to dive head first into another project that I'm calling the LSN, which is Logging Service Node. That hopefully will allow net controls or other HAMs to connect to it, either across the web or across all-star or whatever other way I add. And allow them to get their transcripts back without having to do code or run their own server or anything like that. The whole idea behind this is to be of service to the HAM community. Even though I've ran into the issue, some people find it kind of controversial whether they want it to be actually transcribed into text. Which, by the way, if you do, feel free to contact me. I love talking to people about how they see this project because this was just a thing that came up in my mind about a month ago. And I just decided to start throwing code down to see what I could do. And yeah, it's been a fun little project, but getting ready to move into stage two, I guess. Anyways, KK7NQN, back to net control. Alright there, Hunter. It sounds like you got some great skills with all that programming to figure that stuff out. It sounds like a wonderful project. And I'm sure there's plenty of folks that would love to use that and find value in what you're working on there. Congratulations on finding a niche in HAM Radio that you're falling in love with there and having some great exploration. Thanks for joining my net here this Sunday on the Worldwide Friendship Net and have a good rest of your day. And next on the list we've got Joe who helped chasing away those crickets. KK7Z from KD7G. See you in the net. There's a guy right there, Joe. Yeah, boy, that's exactly what I was doing there, Gina. Yesterday was really quiet. You're busier today, but yesterday was really, really quiet. I don't know where everybody was. But you know what's funny is I can multitask really good, you know? And like when the Tour de France was on, I would have that playing in the background and listening to it. And I always have a radio playing music in the background, which I do now, and then listening to the net. And I can hear all three and decipher all three in separate parts of my brain or something. It's all good. But, you know, All Stars full duplex, so you can hear two people at the same time. And I was hearing Jim call in. Of course, I recognized his voice and Hunter came in too on top of him. So I heard both coming in at the same time. But for some reason, I just can't. You can only like focus on one. It's weird. I can never get this thinking about it. I got the KK7, so I'm glad we got him in there. So that was cool. And I was going to give you all an update. You know, I preordered that Blue Eddy power bank, power pack, you know, portable battery. It does AC power. It's got four AC plugs on it. And USB-C and USB-A and serial lighter plug and all that stuff. It's 1800 watts. I put it on ahead of the pre-sales, like $399 for it. And I think regular price like $800. But I've had a chance to use it a little bit now. I'm going to tell you what. I've plugged my coffee maker into it. Microwave oven, toaster oven. I've tried pretty much everything and it's effortlessly, effortlessly, does it effortlessly. I've got my drone battery plugged into it right now, which doesn't, you know, it doesn't pull a lot of power, like 70 watts or something. It says I have like 80 hours of power left on it. So I pretty much have unlimited power with the drone and cameras on and out and about. So yeah, really impressed with that. The second one I got, the first one I got is a much, much smaller one. I think it's 600 watts, 6800 watts, something like that. But yeah, if you're ever out camping, I'm sure, I know with the camping you did, you probably had something like that, Gina. If not that, I'm probably a gas generator. But yeah, nice stuff. I don't have to worry about putting gas or everything. I got some solar panels for it. And there you go. So anyway, there's a few crickets for you. Show them what it's like. It's a PK-7Z. Thank you. All right, there we go. I'm glad that that battery's working out. It sounds like putting it through a very good test there. Those microwaves can be tricky on the running off of battery power. So I'm glad that that is working well for you and giving you all the mobile power that you need. And yeah, we have a gas generator in our travel trailer, but we also have two 6-volt golf cart batteries that we've got running parallel there. Series, I can't remember. And that, yeah, lasts quite a bit for running stuff when we're boondocking off the power grid. So always good to have other options, especially as those that use like a CPAP or something and travel or find themselves out of power. Something like that to have would be really good. So thanks for taking time to recheck in there and share that and again, chase away those crickets. So we've got a little bit over five minutes left here in an hour. So let's see if we can get a few more folks in and close it down for our Sunday. So if you've been waiting to check in, this is it. I'll say our last call because it's getting really quiet there. So last round here for the Worldwide Friendship Net. Please come with your call signs. Victor Victor Martin Tulsa. The one W.A.N. Victor Echo One Whiskey in November. So, that's what takes us to the bottom of the list and the end of the Wednesday morning. Cowabunga, I'd like to thank everybody who came out and joined us. We got a bunch of new stations this morning. I think that is just fantastic and the more the merrier. If you didn't get a chance to pick up the mic today, well, tomorrow's another day. And we encourage you to do so. We don't bite out here unless invited. Chomp, chomp, chomp. 7-3 everybody, have a fantastic day. Catch Russell out here tomorrow. Josh on Friday. Kevin on Saturday. Not sure, or maybe Dee on Saturday. Not sure who's covering on Sunday, but Gray's back out here on Monday. It's not a comfortable place to be. And yeah, I'm doing it for Zoe. She's in for me. And I'll do it next week to get back on track with the regular schedule of their boss. So, and we'll run it by you if there are any changes you get in their rotation. But you never know. It's like a box of cookies, right? Anyway, all right, thank you very much for being there. And oh, Joe, thank you for being there in the background as well. All right, let's move on and upward. Get some more check-ins, or whatever. And you know, later on in the net, we'll take rejects. Or rejects, but yeah. Let's roll on. Talk about stumbling and mumbling, that's me. Call me mumbles on a Wednesday morning. All right, look at the check-ins. Twice, slowly, and phonetically. We've added, are we? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 is enough. Yeah, you guys are enough for me, for sure. Alright, enough joking around. V01 UKZ, good morning, Darryl. Well, a very good morning to you, Robert. I hope you're having a good day, man. What the heck? Why did my phone just start playing music all of a sudden? Hmm. Audio message. Oh, okay, I know what that was. Alright, now that I'm straightened away here, I hope you're having a good day. I just finished calling the Kalabunga Net, and we had a good conversation over there this morning. You know, as political as ever. It's subject to it in the news, you know, being heavily covered in the news, so it inevitably got discussed, so I'm about the size of that. And while on my way to get the bike fixed, I've got a temporary job from my uncle. He runs a bus company, and they're doing transport back and forth for the Canada Games this year, until the 28th of August, and he needs those buses cleaned out in the evenings, so I'm going to do that, and that's going to be able to give me the rest of what I needed to get the bike fixed up there, so looking forward to that, that's for sure. And yeah, so that's really all I got going on, man. Nothing really serious happening here except the fires. We've got the outer part of St. John's currently on fire with a massive wildfire. They did issue mandatory evacuations last night for a section of the town next to ours called Paradise. The area called Three Island Pond in Paradise, Newfoundland is under mandatory evacuation because of wildfire concerns, and another area called Southlands, which is part of St. John's here itself, is under a wait-and-see evacuation order. It's recommended that people get out now, but if you don't want to, they're just on a wait-and-see for the complete evacuation order there, the mandatory one. So hopefully they get that fire under control. They've got six water bombers now that are back and forth from sunup to sundown, a thousand that thing, and they've been doing that for the last couple of days with four water bombers, and they just brought in two more from Quebec. That'll be six that they've got working very, very vigorously trying to get these fires knocked down. We often don't get them in eastern Newfoundland where it's currently burning on the Avalon Peninsula or where I live, so really hope that they don't spread any further. But last I heard, they had something like 200 firefighters and six water bombers working on that thing, so hopefully they get it knocked down soon. Other than that, man, it's back over to you, 73, and all the best from here on the rock. Wow, that went from good news to bad news. I'm glad you're getting the bike fixed, and yeah, good deal on that job. It sounds like it came at the right time for sure. And you guys never have any good conversations over there at the California Nutt, do you? It's never controversial either. And the fires, I guess paradise isn't so paradise-y, huh? Well, you have a wonderful day if you can, and maybe put on a face mask as Art always says, no matter where you are. Oh my goodness, you guys are really going through it up there, and I wish you all the best there. Keep us informed. I'm sure with all those bombers and firefighters, they should put it out really, really quickly. One should hope. But you're not too far from the water, so you can always take a little step, right? All right, like I said, we've got the Canadian contingent here, and I love Canadian. It's one of my favorite problems. Oh, only kidding. Here at 6GR is that good money for you. GV2R2QVA6GR said, hey Brooklyn, Bobby, how you doing? We're doing OK. The weather is shitty. Oh, excuse me, crappy. That better work. I had to check myself there. We got 15 Celsius climbing to 16. Not 15, 16. Very cloudy and showers. Yeah, I was saying about the thunder lightning storms they had, well, we had them last night, too. It was pretty close, I tell you. I'm glad I came downstairs and disconnected the antennas from the coax cable from the radios so they don't get fried if they ever get struck. But my antennas are down fairly low. They're like 25 feet above ground. But you never know. They can be, turn my radio down there, they're chunking on one of the local repeaters. You never know, they can be a lightning rod. Undergrounded. So, anyway. And there's much else going on today. I'm going to go pick up my acoustic bass. It was in the shop on the McCoy North side. So I'll go get that after the net. It's about 8 o'clock, part time. So, here in Alberta. And Tracy's gone to work and she's been fighting a flu. Must have started with a hab in the cold coming back from the island a couple, beginning of the month. Pardon me, the end of July. So, anyway. Ya'll have a good day. Bye for now. Thank you, my mate. KBTR2286TRZ. You're a zit, huh? Hey Bill, how you doing? And I like your description of the weather. Crappy. Oh my goodness. You Canadians are funny people. I'm glad you have a sense of humor, bud. You need it around me, that's for sure. And your wife likes to work for the flu. That's what I call sharing, for sure. Alright, thanks a lot Bill. We'll check you down in a while. Next up is AP-17W. I was like, wait, where are the chickens at? So, oh my goodness, an ankle, yeah Missy, I can relate. I didn't break an ankle, but back in my karate days, I had literally lived karate. Oh my gosh, I was so into it and became a second degree black belt and I actually lived it. And I was really good at flying sidekicks, you know, you're kind of running. I kind of remember how high I used to jump, but it was truly mind boggling even when I think of it today. Well, on one of those, when I landed, you know, my toe was kind of, my foot's kind of angled down like a tap dancer. And when I landed, it landed and twisted sideways and just ripped the heck out of my ligaments. And yeah, that put me on for six months and I was probably 20, 21 years old. I was pretty young at the time and oh gosh, for years after that, probably 10 years after that, even at that young age, if I was in the car and had the heater on, the heater's blowing down at the bottom by your feet, my foot would swell up. Yeah, finally got over it, but my gosh, that was the most pain. I actually wanted to stop. It hurt so bad at the time. Crazy stuff. So yeah, I don't recommend anything but the ankle. It didn't break any bones, but there's a ton of bones in your foot, but all the ligaments and muscle, yeah, it was really, really messed up. So anyway, other than that, Art, I'm just floating on in the background. It's warm. I woke up to 87 degrees and just didn't feel like riding because it was a bit windy, but tomorrow's my day to ride, so I'll get out there tomorrow. Anyway, that's it for here and it's Joe Mosley, it's KK, that was the back of the net. Hi there, Joe. All right, good to hear you this morning. It's like you once a day for being in the background. You never know what's going to happen yet. And I do see the WATDN is not connected. Don't know what's going on with that one this morning, but it's hard to tell. Yeah, they might be sleeping or trying to find coffee, so they're kind of... All right, buddy, you take care and we will talk at you later, buddy. All right, OK, let's go to KG6WKO, Kathy. Good morning, how you doing? KG6WKO, Kathy. Well, I'm sort of busy because I don't come very often, but I was up early this morning. It's supposed to be 90 degrees here, so I have to take the dog out for a walk and stuff. I lost my timer, so I got my set bit in my hand trying to watch the time. So I'm showing up for the three minutes because I don't know what I did with that little timer I used. I've been cleaning up the house and I actually started with my computer, which I didn't think I used. It's Windows 10 and in October it's not going to be supported at all. And it's an old computer, so I couldn't upgrade. And so it was either buy a new computer or take that one down. And I decided to not have a computer because I rarely use it, although my hand radio thing is on there to program my little bay thing, my little handheld radio. And my iTunes music I lost, but I decided to not get another one. And so I've been really busy. I started with the computer, now I'm starting with closets and cleaning things up. And some place I put that timer, which I'm going to be looking for. And I'm sorry, I missed you, it was because I was looking for the timer. So anyway, I took out the hard drives on my computer and two external hard drives that actually died and I couldn't get the information off of them. So I saw YouTube and I took them all apart and took out the little platters. I took out four platters from my computer and a platter for each of the hard drives. And now I have six platters that I don't know what to do with because they're like metal. They're like DVDs but metal. And to break them, I don't know. So they're in my bookcase. So anyway, it's free to get rid of all the stuff. I'm telling you right now, it's very free. I've been here 30 years and I've collected things that I don't use in closets and stuff. Anyway, I'm going to turn it over to you because I don't know how long I've been on and I don't have my timer. Back to you, 86WKO CABI, exit 73. Alright, sure CABI, alright. Yeah, good to hear you. It has been a while since I've heard you, so there you go. Let's see, well you can always try putting them in, putting them by metal platters in a place and bend them over and everything else. And get rid of them that way. Your dad will wait for some place that has a computer drop, old computer drop off and just drop everything off of them and they'll get rid of everything for you. So there you go. Alright, UJ Caron will say 73 for them. Alright, with that let's go down here to stand and metal. KB7, DBW, good morning metal, how you doing? Well, I guess I'm doing okay right now. I took my tie-lock drill here an hour ago and so I'm not in any pain right now. Let's see, my son came over yesterday and we started cleaning out of that bedroom and got rid of a few things. So he's going to have to come over again I guess or I'm going to have to work on it. One box at a time. I don't know right now, but when you first came out I was hearing a radio in the background. But it seems to have gone away now so maybe you turned it down. But that's it from, well it's going to be almost 100 degrees tomorrow and Monday here. So, good thing we got a new air conditioner put in here a couple of months ago. So we should be fine. KB7, DBW, back to you. Alright, good to hear you this morning. Yeah, well we're supposed to be like 85 today and then going to get closer to 90s next week and stuff like that with a chance of rain coming in. So there you go. But heat index is going to really, really make it bad here. So there you go. Alright buddy, we'll say 73 to you and you have yourself a great day. Alright, this is the worldwide friendship event. I am November 8th, I'm going to tell you that I'm here in Springfield, Ohio. And temperature is slowly going up, but it is humid out there. Currently the weather right now here in Edmonton is 13 degrees, with a high of 30. That's 55 and 86 in Fahrenheit respectively. Sunny, we've got a few clouds happening right now. And today is my stepdaughter's, Jennifer's birthday. She's 36. But hey, I had a cough here when I traveled out. She's a year older than my son. But I didn't say that on Facebook. So anyway, she's probably at work. Well who knows, maybe she took the day off. Or no, I think her father is visiting probably today. Came out from Calgary. Anyway. Okay. Same old, same old. Working on my concert list. I got a truck down, a few dates in places where artists that we've seen, that we didn't have ticket stubs or electronic tickets for, which were basically on our phones. And we went wild yesterday. November is going to be a busy month for us. We got tickets for Johnny Cash Experience. Well no, Folsom Prison Revisited. So I don't know who the artist is. Johnny Cash. And oh, MJ, Michael Jackson, the musical. Broadway across Canada. And I don't know the dates of those yet. And then I also got a ticket to go see. Oh, one of my favorite bands. Sloan, a Canadian band. Also in November. So yeah, that's going to be a busy month. 73 everybody. Have yourselves a great day. Back to you King Arthur. Don't sit on your thorny crown. Not much. That's what I've got going on today. I'm doing the, I finished the last of all of our concerts and I haven't totaled up the numbers yet and and, uh, yeah, it's a lot. So, um, maybe I'll post it, yeah, I'll probably post it in the text box. It's all starting from 2005 to current. So, there we go. Yeah, the wife says, well, why didn't you do all the sporting events? Well, that would make the list even longer so that's why I just did a separate category for concerts, um, including, um, comedic ones. Now, when we have stand-up comics. Oh, shoot, I forgot about Bill Cosby. Oh, yeah, because we saw him once, too. Uh-oh, I've got to figure that one out, too, as well. So, there we go. 73, everybody. And how you sells good day. We'll take those three. And, uh, Terry, I saw you put on the thing, go back on the list for a retail, please. I'm guessing you wanted to recheck now that I'm looking. So, I'll put you down as well. So, I've got Bill, Jim, Mel, and then Terry can finish it up. So, let's go to Bill, the A6 GRZ from KK7 internet. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November Quebec November. KK7 speed, DA16, you know I said, source of delay there, Joe. I had to have a sneeze, so I didn't want to do it on the air. Ha! Ah, weather right now. 12 degrees, high of 26, 53, and 79. Mainly sunny. We're gonna get high temperatures this week. Most of them close to 30. Wow. Anyway, you know what? Everybody looked at me when I was doing my prime growing periods, when I was ever in a cast, or lately it's been an air boot. Well, the air boot's off pretty much. I put it on occasionally, but not right now. Excuse me. I had to have breakfast earlier and say bye to the wife because she went out and had breakfast with a friend of hers. But, um, I'm digressing here. Get on topic. Um, yeah, I have never broken any bones in my body. I had a baby toe dislocated in grade 12, playing soccer in gym class. It popped right out. And when everybody was accusing me of faking it, I got off to the side of the field and took off my shoe, my sock, and I said, and there's a hollow spot right in my baby toe. And one of the guys on the team kicked the ball so hard that it popped my toe out. Anyway, I said, does that look like I'm faking it? So anyway, Mr. Peterson sent me to the office, called my mom, get me to the hospital, and they took the x-rays and it freaked out the radiologist because I should have warned him about my strange configurations because I've had surgeries up until I was 16 years old, especially when I had a trichloroethagesis done and other stuff. Anyway, I've got to blow my nose, so I'm going to hurry up here. But no, all mine have been due to osteoarthritis and born in a club feet. Twenty in total. So that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. People say you should write a book. Yeah, I've been contemplating it. Well, it depends if I go back to work or not. Anyway, take care, everybody. 73, stay cool if you're in the hot. There was a few clouds earlier, but they're going to get burned off. So anyway. Yeah, Labor Day. Whoa. We probably won't have much to do. But in the past, we used to go camping, but that was off. I'm guessing at least, let me think here, 20, I think it was around 2000 and it was 2000 and 2021 or 2022, was it 22? It was the year Tracy went out to see her mom before she passed away. And I think that was a couple of years ago. Yeah. Yeah. At least two or three years ago. So yeah, we did our one last camping trip, but that was on the May long weekend. But anyway. Yeah. Yeah, we puffed it out lots of times, but we had fun. We always ended up going with, well, most of the time we ended up going out with friends of ours who also had their own trailer. So it was fun. Yeah. Tracy's daughter, Jennifer, and probably the kids are probably coming over later as we didn't get to see her last weekend. Her birthday was on the 25th. And so we're going to take her out for breakfast, but we'll wait and see. So that's it for today. 73, everybody. Have yourselves a great day.
