"text": " Well it's specifically for the VHF band. It's for a Motorola CM300. Probably in frequency range of 1.4 to 1.60. I do have stations in there that I can listen to like the far department and the 1.60 to the 150 to 160 range which is what the far department is on in my area. I'm in a small town with only three repeaters and the furthest one being six miles away. That's about it. I can't drive. I'm in a VHF band, 17, and most of the repeaters in my area are on VHF. I do have two mobiles. One doesn't work and one doesn't go and one doesn't go. I have one in the new Motorola CM300. When I can drive I do plan on getting a dual band in there. Probably Motorola but they really don't make dual bands besides their APX series."
