"text": "It does, and it's kind of what I would have anticipated. I broke my own long-standing rule, which was do not let friends buy bao feng. So I went and bought a TV5R based on everything I was hearing on this net, just because a lot of people really seemed to like it. And I looked at YouTube, and I decided, well, the price is right. I'll just take the plunge. But now I was just curious. And I would try to get my brother to do it, but he's half deaf, so he can't tell me the difference. So I appreciate the signal report. The EV5R Mini is much, much smaller than my ICOM 91A. There is that factor. So anyway, again, thank you so much for your input. This is KK7KL, and I will be clear. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven, November, Quebec, November. Oh, I beg to differ, God so fast, cowboy. Well Tim, I want to tell you about this, and I know you're relatively recent to the PSRG nets, but if you get over to PSRG.org to our website, you can check RF signals coming inbound to the repeater system, because we have a six receiver voting system, and you can see the relative values of each of those receivers as you transmit live. So have you had a chance to check that out, that's how it was just giving the information to you about your transmissions. Back to you. Roger, roger. In fact, I have the voter screen up on my cell phone. I can usually tell how I'm doing. And I thought that I was hitting really well with this UE5R Mini on at least one of the reflectors or one of the things. I think there's a couple of them. Anyway, But I didn't, I just wanted to hear a comparison of audio, signal strength almost anywhere on this repeater sent from my head to Costco and Covington and then for some reason or another I just wanted to know how the audio was and how the relative signal strength was. So, appreciate your input."

"text": "Ah, good morning. Take two seven Zulu to see is a victor aqua for yang and glima And I will pass the mic over later to my husband as well. I hope you don't mind So yeah What was the hardest well, I don't know if you had to take a test or you don't have to take the best Not taking the test well coming together speaking English Anyway, if you had to go to school, well, I took the radio license, so, well, that was the hardest for me then, so, because English is still troubling me at times, you know, so that's why I'm laughing, sorry about that guys, but, yeah, what is not easy, or what it's not hard you know so yeah life is totally different when you're in a different country you know and when you're raised you know so yeah lots of things are quite hard to do and you have to manage and whatnot you so there we go But yeah, doing the ham license for being a different language, it's totally, totally, totally different. So I had some problems, but I worked them through and I did it. And it's the same thing when I took the Canadian citizenship. So I can be a Canadian, you know. I've done the test three times and I missed it every time by one. They wouldn't tell you which one you were wrong on. So there we go. I figured I'll heck with it. I found out 1-0-55 you don't have to write it no more and that's what I did. So the easy out. So now I'm Canadian for one year already, so there we go. I passed the mic over to my lovely husband."

Old icons treated me well and merch treated me well and it's been a very positive experience for me. If you're wondering what kind of antenna I run, it's a JPC-12 and I'm currently upgrading it. I just got a 5.6 meter WIP upgrade for it and the capacity HAP for it. I know that the ground radials that it comes with aren't that great, but the antenna is basically a ground plane quarter wave vertical with a coil in the center. If you look it up online, it's a great little portable antenna for doing PODA or even just as a grab and go type antenna. It works okay. I've talked from BC all the way to New Jersey on it."

"text": " Yeah, I think the whole person that started this on Sundays was great. He had this suggestion and he was getting trying to talk people into it and I think he talked Gabby into doing it and Gabby is, she doesn't like to be pressured and she doesn't like to be pinned down, that's for sure. So she felt pressured I think to do it and so that's why she started doing it. She even told me one day we were on the air and I was trying to make up a schedule because I was going to go on vacation and I was talking to, well I think you were there and Josh was there and a few other people and Gabby and she said right on the air, she says, I don't like to be pinned down to a certain day or a certain time. I do this because I want to. If I don't want to do it some weekend, I'm not going to do it. And she said that because I was saying, okay Gabby, you take this one. Josh, will you cover me for this week and the following week it will be Gabby again and she did not like that one bit."
