"text": "Oh, thanks for stopping by there, Fred. A little bit of snow left there with the degrees there, and back up to 50. Maybe you'll lose that snow when it warms up. Out here today, today wasn't too bad, weather-wise. Still windy, as you may have heard. There was quite a bit of wind last night. It knocked out power for quite a few people. But it was nice to get a break from the rain. We have had so much rain recently, it's unreal. I don't remember exactly what the stats are, but it was something like over 15 or 17 inches of rain in the last two weeks or something. We've got some crazy flooding that's been going on because it's been warm in the mountains and the rain melted all the snow, which caused it to run off too. So not only were we hit with a rainstorm, we were hit with a snow melt in December, which is incredibly odd. But anyway. Yes, so hanging in there, we happen to be me and Megan. We live up on a hill, so we're out of the flood plains there. But we do have some big trees that have big branches that sometimes we are OK for now. But I hope we don't have blue sky tomorrow, but I'm not sure. I think it's supposed to start raining again. Anyway, thanks for stopping by there, Fred. I hope that you hang in there and you've got some warmer weather coming your way. All right, next up and last on my go around here is Brian in Marysville, Washington. Yes, I too lost some power last night. My generator kicked on at 1253 a.m. and I think power came back around 930 a.m. ish or sometime around than stuff. So very happy to have that generator going and stuff because I was on call for starting at 6 a.m. and had stuff to do. So very happy that I was able to just kind of not worry about that. So anyway, I was on call the last couple of days, not starting tomorrow so that'll be nice. I can sleep until 730 or so instead of getting up at about 530. So anyway, do not sleep well like with all the noise and the wind and all that stuff. So definitely tired. Going to have an early night tonight. So I'd say tomorrow I've got a rehearsal, tomorrow Thursday and Friday. And for those that are interested, I should have had this pulled up, but I'll be playing with the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra, their holiday concert. I think it's at 3 p.m. at Bastyr University over there in the Juanita area. I think it's technically Kenmore, but I think it feels kind of like Kirkland on the edge there. So yeah, if people are interested, concert at 3 p.m. over there at Bastyr University. It's a holiday show, come as you are. All are welcome there. I know tickets do cost money, but they're not super expensive there. So anyway, so that will be it. I'll try to see if I can check in after some rehearsals. Other than that, that's what I got, so I'll send it back to KE7 K3H BexNet."

We've got minus three right now for a high of plus 5. That's 27 and 42 in Fahrenheit respectively and a mix of sun and cloud today. My little granddaughter, Dawson, spent the night. She's still upstairs because mom and dad wanted to have a date night and the two other grandsons, they were So I'm obviously busy doing other things. There we go! Since mother is going to be probably picking her up around 9.30ish. Tracy and I have to go get groceries and I don't know, maybe grab a couple of other things. I've got to start doing inventory for my Christmas display. Since I added a small flag pole. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November Quebec November, All Star node 6222, located in Shelton Washington. The front gate fence, in front of it, I've got my flag of Canada up there, the old red maple leaf. Yeah, I've got to add another string of lights to that pole, and I'm contemplating whether should do do the ones for my from the antennas but that could probably cause some RF I'm guessing so we'll see anyway good to hear y'all since we're down to listening to the only twice a week on the weekends now so take care everybody Have yourselves a great day. "text": " Yeah, yeah, and then you're on this because I know about, I used to have the bad cluster headaches and I go to ER. I think, yeah, and I've had to wait 12 hours and things, so I know what that's about. Yeah, they're going to put the shock victim before you, of course, but it makes sense. I agree to it. But you know what's funny is I think most people will do that because it's either in the middle of the night and they can't really get in the hospital, so it's one way to do it or now there's an increasing thing now where people really don't have family doctors, so their only way to be seen in any fashion is to check into one of those places. That's why in Toronto it's divided up. They also have the dental emergency, so you don't jam up like the Toronto ER with that nonsense even if it is four in the morning. Oh dude, I haven't had a family doctor in over 20 years, but I know what a walk-in clinic looks like, you know, and like I say if I'm not bleeding and it ain't broken, I don't need to go to a hospital. I can deal with a cold. I can deal with sniffles. If I'm not thinking about calling an ambulance, it'll wait until morning and I'll go to a walk-in. If more people would do stuff like that, our ERs wouldn't be overbooked and you wouldn't have to wait 12 hours to see somebody when you actually needed to see somebody. Everybody is just, you know, I need it and I need it now, like with your cluster headaches. Instead of waiting the 12 hours, you could have been seen in like 45 minutes, gotten some oxygen probably is what they probably would have given you. I know it helps a lot with cluster headaches because I deliver a lot of oxygen to people with cluster headaches and you would have been feeling much better much faster. It's our system, it's overloaded because of abuse and misuse, not because the system is broken. This is repeater station kilo kilo 7, November Quebec November. Later on, wow, it turned out to be a lot more internal. I had it fixed. It was my teeth because at the time I was in my teens, I still had my wisdom teeth and they were bothering me. As soon as I got those taken out, I never had any more cluster headaches again. But what's funny, yeah, because they also rot your gums and that's going to cause you a lot of pain. Well, another thing I would use when I didn't want to use the ER and it was the middle of the night, I just used the phone book doctors. They charge for each visit and if it's something important like a prescription, that's the move that I'll pull to do that. I've never, as far as I know, most walk-in clinics, you have to have like, well, you have to have a doctor. You can't just walk in and just be seen like some of the places in the states where the ghetto hood rats will walk in there, get their little BD shot and then they're back out on the street. You can't just do that in Canada. If I go, there's a clinic place on Main Street here in Vancouver, I got to show my contact information with my family doctor back in Toronto or I wouldn't be seen here if I need anything. You don't need to have a family doctor to go into a walk-in here. All you need is your health card. Unfortunately being out of province, you'll have to pay for your visit. When I've been in Quebec and when I was in Cornwall, I never had a doctor. I went to the local walk-in clinic, handed in my card, my health card, waited my turn, told them what was wrong and went in and saw a doctor. Don't need to have a family doctor, that's the whole idea of the walk-in clinics. It's not like the free clinics that the US has, those are totally different. There are a few of those around too. Montreal's got one, I think there's actually a very small one here in North Bay but it's mostly a needle exchange place, that's more or less all they do. But not a walk-in clinic man, you don't need a doctor."

"text": " Well, thank you very much, Brooks and Megan. This is N3OMO, aka Moo Oink. Yes, it is 10 after 1 here a.m. I wasn't on last night or the night before. I don't think ... I just got really sleepy and after my show, after Parry Mason, I said, you know what? I can't even stay awake for the net, so I went to bed. But anyway, it's been a good couple days. All the animals are doing well. We have a scrap with two cats tonight. It's very quickly one was walking by the other and decided to cuff him. So, they ran around at each other for a little bit. And my other big boy, Tanner, he decided to investigate what was the trash basket here in the kitchen. So, he dumped that over and went back up and he did it over again. So, it was only half full at that point. I said, well, I'm just going to tie it up and that will be the end of that. So, naturally, he hasn't knocked it over anymore. There's something in there that he wants. And I don't know what it is, but he's gone and he's asleep on my brother's bed now. And Jasper, the pug, is out here in the Davenport. And Lily, the little gray cat, 15-year-old, is curled up on the middle. Jasper is so funny. We have the dishes all lined up for the cats to eat from. And if they're eating, he does not want to go past them. It's so funny. And he'll be at the end of the living room and all of a sudden you'll just see him take off running to get past the cats. It's really a riot. And of course, he's so much bigger than they are that my brother sees them like that all the time. He just will never interfere with what the cats are doing or he just lets them do what they want, but he flushes by them in a real hurry. That's funny. Okay, everybody. Have a great night and a good day tomorrow. Thanks for taking my call. November 3, Oscar Mike Osger."

"text": " Thank you N9OFU. This is KJ5ILQ. It's a pretty morning out here in Texas. It's cool. High sixties. I don't really see a cloud in the sky. The rain's going to warm up in a few days, but that's okay. That's what September's like. Chickens are in their new coop. They moved them in there last night. They made their first successful night in it. And they seem to be happy. I'll post a picture I guess on Facebook and Cowabunga. Not Cowabunga, but a Discord later if I think about it. So yeah, that's kind of it. We spent the whole weekend basically working on that. It's not finished. We need to trim it out. My wife's going to trim it out with black trim. It's going to be black and white. And then I've got to do something to the front of the actual coop. It looks too bland. It's a big white wall that needs to be different. I'm happy to make it look like an old West building. It wouldn't be that hard to do. It would be kind of fun actually. You know, suddenly seeing an old West ghost town. You know, like a saloon building or something. I don't know. Just thinking out loud. Oh, after having the last three and a half days off of work, it's time to start work again. I've got a million emails to go through. That'll take up my time for a little bit this morning. And then I've got some requests that I need to get working on. So that seems like I'm going to have a fairly busy day. So with that, I will pass it on to George. Oh gosh, I didn't write down his call sign. I should have. Anyhow, George, this is Josh sending it. Wait, hang on. I got his call sign because I got my notes from last time. K-B-0-M-A-I. Look at that. Still got my name, my name Net Notes for Friday sitting on my desk. Anyhow, this is KJ5IRQ sending it over to you."
