How are things going, Arthur? Go ahead, please. Hello, Jack and Lynette. Yeah, the talk of the repeater roundabout this weekend sounds pretty interesting. And I think that'll motivate me to learn how to do the software programming on my various radios. I just manually put in repeaters and such. But loading lots of repeaters, I think, I think will be a good thing, especially because I want to start using these for overlanding and more mobile stuff in my off-road vehicle. I did mount my AnyTone VHF rig in my vehicle last week and actually got to test that out on the net while you were running it last Saturday, not this last Saturday, but the one before that. As I was driving to eastern Washington, The reception was getting kind of spotty. I called in and yeah, I guess you got a few letters of my call sign, but the TX even on high power was just not enough given that I was near the top of Snoqualmie Pass and the terrain was just not really amenable. I was hoping that it would reach the Cougar Mountain repeater, but I guess the mountains and terrain weren't quite good for that. But I'm looking at the repeater roundabout map and I do see there's one by Ellensburg. So I actually will be driving that drive again Saturday. So it'll be interesting to check that out and see how that goes. But yeah, look forward to doing stuff on more of the repeaters here. So far I'm... But yeah, thanks for running these nets and yeah, glad I got to test the radio. RX side of things actually did work pretty well right up until about the Snoqualmie Summit but yeah a hundred watts on the mobile rig with the mobile antenna I guess this isn't quite enough thanks 73KE7 in UI"},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-24T00:21:13+00:00","id":92544,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":92543,"text":"You know those things those critters you think that you've dropped a very expensive pouch on the beach and then you find out when it's too late"},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-23T19:49:01+00:00","id":91620,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":91619,"text":"All right, you can do a report now. A little bit of snow left there with the degrees there, and back up to 50. Maybe you'll lose that snow when it warms up. Out here today, today wasn't too bad, weather-wise. Still windy, as you may have heard. There was quite a bit of wind last night. It knocked out power for quite a few people. But it was nice to get a break from the rain. We have had so much rain recently, it's unreal. I don't remember exactly what the stats are, but it was something like over 15 or 17 inches of rain in the last two weeks or something. We've got some crazy flooding that's been going on because it's been warm in the mountains and the rain melted all the snow, which caused it to run off too. So not only were we hit with a rainstorm, we were hit with a snow melt in December, which is incredibly odd. But anyway. Yes, so hanging in there, we happen to be me and Megan. We live up on a hill, so we're out of the flood plains there. But we do have some big trees that have big branches that sometimes we are OK for now. But I hope we don't have blue sky tomorrow, but I'm not sure. I think it's supposed to start raining again. Anyway, thanks for stopping by there, Fred. I hope that you hang in there and you've got some warmer weather coming your way. All right, next up and last on my go around here is Brian in Marysville, Washington. Yes, I too lost some power last night. My generator kicked on at 1253 a.m. and I think power came back around 930 a.m. ish or sometime around than stuff. So very happy to have that generator going and stuff because I was on call for starting at 6 a.m. and had stuff to do. So very happy that I was able to just kind of not worry about that. So anyway, I was on call the last couple of days, not starting tomorrow so that'll be nice. I can sleep until 730 or so instead of getting up at about 530. So anyway, do not sleep well like with all the noise and the wind and all that stuff. So definitely tired. Going to have an early night tonight. So I'd say tomorrow I've got a rehearsal, tomorrow Thursday and Friday. And for those that are interested, I should have had this pulled up, but I'll be playing with the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra, their holiday concert. I think it's at 3 p.m. at Bastyr University over there in the Juanita area. I think it's technically Kenmore, but I think it feels kind of like Kirkland on the edge there. So yeah, if people are interested, concert at 3 p.m. over there at Bastyr University. It's a holiday show, come as you are. All are welcome there. I know tickets do cost money, but they're not super expensive there. So anyway, so that will be it. I'll try to see if I can check in after some rehearsals. Other than that, that's what I got, so I'll send it back to KE7 K3H BexNet."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-23T07:46:13+00:00","id":89221,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":89220,"text":"All right, right now I'll go ahead and acknowledge those that are checked in via NetLogger. This is- Well, hello, Jack. November, November. All-star note 6222. I'll be by myself this morning on the 9 a.m. net there for a little while. It started out really slow. Bill rescued me and then a few other people heard him followed, so it worked out OK. But yeah, it definitely started slow. Other than that, it's a rainy, drizzly day out here in Woodinville, like probably everywhere else. I'm just probably going to hang around the house today and play guitar. I have to take in our two old phones, our trade-ins to Verizon, so I'll probably do that here in a few minutes and drop them off because the wife and I both got new phones and they offered us trade-ins on our other ones, so we just have to drop them off. They're both factory data reset now, so other than that, that's about all I got going on today. Probably lots of guitar. And I don't know, now that I've been listening to you, maybe some Ken Burns too.
