Good hearing from you November 3 November Tango Victor in Moberg, South Dakota. You're on the log my friend. Alright, M4EDP I'm turning it over to you my friend. This is KM4MPF. Alright, yeah these last minute check-ins make it hard to get these things tallied up right, but I think I got it. We had 50 come in via digital mode tonight, 16 on all star, 1 DMR, 28 on Echo Link, 1 on Ham's Over IP, 1 on YSF, 1 on Wires X, and 2 via Net Logger AIM check-ins. We had 20 Link Repeaters, now bear in mind these Link Repeaters, these are just the ones in the greater Chattanooga metro area. 12 on the 144920, 1 on the 224200, 1 on the 224360, 1 on the 224920, and 5 on the 443525. 27 on the 146790, 3 relays, and at one point we had 34 folks on the Net Logger AIM window. That was almost tying our record of 36. Since the first of the year we've had 503 unique call signs check-in with us, that was 8 new ones tonight. Making sure the last check-in wasn't a new one. We had 5 countries, Australia, Japan, Netherlands, Trinidad, Tobago, and the US, record there is 8. We had 19 states, record is 26, but tonight we had Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and West Virginia. So that was a total of 101 check-ins tonight. Fax Tech Control, W-48EP. Good deal, thank you very much my friend, I appreciate ya. Ah, Joe, KNI Whiskey, this is Cam 4MPF, I'm turning it over to you for Slow Skin TV."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-11T22:35:52+00:00","id":16282,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":16281,"text":" Yes, I remember, well I used to record air checks off of FMDX and I had a Panasonic RQL, I don't know what it was, a 9500 or something. It was a big old shortwave video, but it had a really hot FM section in it. And it had a multiplexed output so that you could build your own or buy an SCA decoder that you could take with the multiplexed output. But anyway, I used to do that when I was in my 20s, but I remember earlier than that in my teens, in my preens. Listening to mediumwave, DX, and shortwave, I was way into it. And my shortwave radio, I didn't have a proper communications receiver, I just had a cool cable radio with several tubes in it. It did not have a BFO, it was just mediumwave and shortwave, band switch, you know, in the middle, click click. And a tuning knob and a volume knob, on off volume knob on the front. And a kind of nice looking wooden case, I've got a similar one that's got it here that I bought for 12 bucks, just an empty shell so I could make something out of it. I used it as a speaker to listen to radio New Zealand and stuff. Where am I going with this? But anyway, I liked to listen to WLS, and then in my 20s I would listen to WHAM from Rochester, New York, an all night radio program called The Best of All Possible Worlds. And that DJ would segue from Miles Davis to Mozart, so they could feel like, oh my god, it's there, Miles Davis was inspired by Mozart for this day, oh my god. But he ended up getting canned because he tried to organize a union. One of the best late programs in America, perhaps in the world, The Best of All Possible Worlds, and they fired him because they didn't want him to organize a union. I remember that though, I'm going on a non-transcription turntable, I had a tone arm for a transcription turntable, it was super long. I wrote a lot of stuff down here. Anyway, take care, and let's see what am I doing here. Alright, I'm putting a question mark at the time of your report. Anyway, take care Mike. And next on the list is, we've got two more stations that are in, N3, MTV. David in Mulbridge, South Dakota, please give us your report. November Quebec November, All Star Note 6222. Good morning everybody, good morning here in Mulbridge, South Dakota. Just sitting here looking at a tenor bracket I ordered up behind that. I bought a new truck last year and of course all these new vehicles are not radio friendly, and trying to mount a tenon is no fun. But when I found the bracket I want, it's a motorized hinge that when I enter my garage, I can fold the antennas backwards. And I'd go say, oh I've been doing the highway for years, I've never seen such an animal. Well, I found it. And I was guessing it would be paying between 150 and 200 bucks per rack, getting there at 201 dollars. So, it should be shipped in about 8 or 8 days, I should have it by the end of the month. And I got a dealership about two hours east of me that was willing to do the install. So when everything is done, it's going to look like a professional install. I even told the local police that when this thing is done, everyone is going to be staring at my truck. So, they do that already. Alright, not much going on here, this is my night off from work. I am now, when I work out, I'm partially retired. I'm down to four days a week. I had to keep four days to keep my insurance. So, I am now off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. So, I get to play radio three nights a week. And hopefully this time next year, if everything works out, I'll be permanently retired. So, not much going on. It's nice weather, it's nice. I think I'll go and show you what I have to get tonight, maybe tomorrow night. And I was going to play radio, actually I'm going to go on the internet and do some studying for my general and get that out of the way. My problem is I am slightly dyslexic. So, me trying to study is not fun. With that, I'll take it back to net. I'm going to have a great night and we'll catch up hopefully in 24 hours. N3NTV, David Moward, South Dakota, on the shores of the mighty mow. On the shores of the mighty mow, the mighty Missouri. And I'm assuming the mighty Missouri River. I'm remembering that song, Ocean and Do. I long to hear you. I'm away. Crossing the... I'll stop there. It's one of the numbers we do at the Veterans Choir. Anyway, um... I'll just comment, of all the things I could comment is, like, yeah, if people are going to see your installation, you want to do a professional job. Because you are... that's your, that's your, like, advertisement. Like, you know, say, oh yes, I do this. Oh, do you have any samples that can work? Oh, yeah, see that? My jalopy that I drive you. No, you want them to look at it and go, hmm, that's really good. That's special. And then when I do it and they say that looks like professional work, I said it looks like professional work. But I'm really an amateur. That's why it's so good. I do it out of love. Alright, so, thank you very much, David. And, uh, good to hear you. And now, uh, we have, uh, uh, Filson. I'm not sure if he was in, but I'm going to give, you can do a report, Filson. DY9 IVZ, Delta Yankee 9, India, Victor, Zu. If you want to give a report, I will list them. And, uh, and it's over to you. This is Joan K. X2 CW. Yes, I'll be sure. Thank you so much for pulling up the JAL, EMAN, JOHAN, BUCKH, JOHAN CW. And after that, good evening, state your family and all the patients, staff, and everyone. Good evening, and good afternoon to the other county. And my station brought all the few things. I should say, I'm working with the PSRC. In that, or, using the nuclear, you know, that, uh, I'm not really, I will not participate, in the processing of the nuclear shield, but actually, in, uh, while I'm working. Uh, that's a good idea. For, it's a happy part of the communication for joining. It's so appreciating and a positive part of communication. And to other friends, friends. Thank you so much, uh, MUNDYUHAN. And my station, my reporting about from either here in my, uh, country, and therefore, in the part of the Netherlands island. In the Chinese war, we can see the, uh, 13, 15 hours that, in the, uh, heat of about 30 degrees Celsius. But, uh, we can see the strength of about 5,000 per hour. And, uh, we have no important message. Just joining and supporting. Back to you, MUNDYUHAN."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-11T22:48:22+00:00","id":16286,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":16285,"text":" November 3, Tango Victor November, Keto Indian 7, I'll take you to form Bravo. Yes, we're good, Long Hand 3, MTV Dave and Melbourne, South Dakota. Dave, my name is Lee and I'm in Hanover, Germany at this time. I just wanted to make sure that you got that last transmission about being dyslexic and everything. Yes, right on. My problem is I've never been one good at studying a technician's license. I forget how many times I took the test. I've done a general test five or six times. I keep messing by, well, I get one or two. You have to get around to getting seven wrong or I'll be getting eight or nine wrong every time. So I just got to concentrate on the areas I'm weak on. But at least now I can do it online because my nearest testing site is four and a half to five hours away from me. There is a system called the HAM test online or HAM license online. Check that out. You can register with them. What I've been doing is I've just been doing practice tests. I do two or three practice tests a night. I'm working on my extra for that. I do two or three practice tests a night. I'm getting about 75 to 80 percent, which is passing. You might want to check that out. There's also for the extra, there's a book that's called All Ham No Spam. I don't know what the author's name is, but he gives that into Google. You should be able to find that book. Well, being dyslexic, reading is not the best idea. A book is not the best idea. But if you have it in your hand, it's easier to understand what you're reading than if you're looking at it on a screen, at least for me. So there's a couple of tips for your extra license. I'm using that HAM radio prep online. I've been doing that. When I'm at work, I've got quite a good downtime. I've got to get permission to do it. I'll be doing that a little bit later. I'll probably watch a movie or check the letter channel. I'm in a small town here, so if I come off, I'm one of the few people down there that works graveyard shifts. I know our town here is my hobby. I've been sitting here and I want to play radio for a little bit, then watch a movie. I'll keep myself busy until 4.30 or 5 in the morning and then I'll go to bed. I normally get off at 8.30 in the morning, so I'm in bed by 5.30. I get my usual sleep. I'm looking for the email general. It's Mike Schu and Albert. I have relatives there. They're both silent keys now. One was in Nova Scotia, the other one was in Montreal. They're the ones that gave me these initial radio bugs. Back in 1969, my dad got us a stereo reed kit. We built that and I thought it was so cool. We take all his cards and get music. We bought a stereo reed kit, so we put together our stuff. If it wants to re-raise you, CB, scanners and 92, I got my tech license and I haven't shut up since. I'm back to you. My children call sign Delta Oscar 7, outside uniform bravo, just in case you wanted to write that down. I got my license in 2016. I've been hooked on radio communications since I was about 8 years old. I went over to a buddy's house one day and his father had eight radios in a rack, basically just built into a wall. They were old Collins, dual-driven, crystal-driven radios. He was a relay for the United States Army. This was back in 1972, so I think he was a relay for the Korean times. That's when things started to taste a little bit of resistance, the capacitance, resistance, inductance and all the rest just got under my skin. Finally got it done in 2016 and got my general in 2017. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7 November... Yeah, I know why I joined that. It's a... Yeah, I figured when I swim to the place, like General, if I just keep starting and... Yep. Yep. I'll probably do my testing right here. But, yeah, it's not the front of my suggests. They want to go for my general, probably just automatically go for my extra, see what happens. But, I got a ticket at back in 92 and... My license is originally from Baltimore and once I got my license, a friend of mine got me into the amateur TV part and I was hooked. I still have my equipment, but where I'm at now, there's no one around me to do it. So, I got an action call with an extra TV and I, oh God, I loved it. So, I was working midnight back then and my night off I was doing TV all night. Had a satellite just in my backyard and I was re-transmitting everything from the space station. And I was, and most of the guys loved it. I was up two, three, four in the morning doing that stuff, so I had a lot of fun. I still think it's the coolest hobby in the world and I'll stick to it. Here's 3NTV Dave in Lowbridge. N3NTV, Q1-7, I'm taking you from Bravo-V in Germany. Yeah, if you get into DMR, you might want to check out my top group, which is 1301389. I'll say it again so you can write it down. I don't know if you are writing it, but 1301389. If you need help with some of the DMR stuff, if you want to get into it, send me an email. I'm good on Q1-Z and I'll see what I can do to get you some information to help you get into DMR. I'm actually out walking the dog this morning and I'm using my phone through Echo Link to get into this system. I keep getting nudged by the dog because she's hungry and she eats out of her hand as we walk. Whether or not it's going to be 30 degrees here today, 30 degrees Celsius, which is going to be like about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I've got some roof work to do, so I'm going to get this dog walk done, get myself a cup of coffee and get up on the roof."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-17T13:28:48+00:00","id":18078,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":18077,"text":" Mr. Moore Beer, November 3 November Tango Victor. I'm glad you made it back. Alright, and we'll give you report. Fourteen, there we go. So next, Peter, different Peter is putting the bow on this third round. You know, we've got AE7WE, which I didn't check. And QRZ is IO at the very end. But Peter, KD7 medium wave in Shoreline. Please give us your report. You're putting a bow on the round. Well, okay, this is KD7 Mike Whiskey and Peter in Shoreline. And I am unfortunately nursing a bit of a summer cold and haven't been feeling too well the last several days. My wife's in even worse shape. I mean, we will survive and it's not COVID. We've tested. But so I'm kind of cooped up and fooling around and nerding out with some ham radio stuff. And so first of all, before I get to ham radio stuff, somebody I believe her name was Ann mentioned something about movable dough back in the first round. And I understand exactly the problem because I learned movable dough. And then when I was in college, I also took music courses at the Lawsey School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, just across the Cambridge Common from Harvard, which was about the closest I ever got to it. And they fancied themselves the annex of the Paris Conservatory in the United States. So they were interested in you developing perfect pitch and they used a fixed dough system. And of course, whenever I did solfege, which is sight singing, then I would immediately turn dough into whatever key the piece had just modulated to. And they got very mad and they yelled at me, but it's okay. I still managed to get through the courses and did pretty well aside from that, so I'm not too unhappy about it. But anyway, Ann, if you're still there, I feel your pain. Now, because of my cold, I was planning on going to see the Blue Angels on Saturday. I was going to go down to Boeing Field and watch them do their take-off and landing and passes over the field. But no, fate intervened, so I did end up listening to them. In fact, I put some frequencies in the middle of last week up on the Facebook page. And it was really fun to listen to those guys. And when this one guy was going to roll his plane, he would say, going into a roll. And I suspect that the change of the pitch of his voice was to alert his colleagues to exactly what he was doing. Very interesting. And I listened to them on my little UVK5 quenching radio, which for 30 bucks is the most fun I've had in ham radio in a long, long time. You can put your own, put special firmware in it. It'll even do a simulacrum of SSD and it will do CW. So I'm thinking maybe I'll take that to a hilltop someday and see what I can accomplish with it. Apart from that, I was doing just some tests with all of the various antennas that I've got over the years to see which ones received well. Probably want to try transmitting. I'm wondering if anybody in the PSRG hierarchy would object if I did some tests late at night, would that be alright when I didn't disturb anybody? Or would that wake up a control operator and make him or her grumpy? So that's my story. And I will turn it back to you, KD7 Mike Whiskey back to that, to everybody. And so long, Joe. Well, fine business, Peter. You know, what I would do is not, I'm far from hierarchy. I'm a grunt level of, you know, control operator and this repeater. And, but what I would do to not have the possibility that you would be putting pain to a, you know, control operator, a repeater control operator that has the, you know, the power to control the repeater. That I would avoid doing it in the wee hours. I would do it at a late hour that is within normal waking hours when the repeater is not in use. You can do that when the repeater is in use or not in use. So as soon as this net is over and you hear there's, nobody seems to be wanting to transmit, then that would be the time I would do it. But this is only my opinion. I am, let's see, in my humble opinion, I am H-O. I do testing on the repeater, but I don't ever do it in the wee hours because that's what I feel it's like. If someone is tasked with keeping their ear on the repeater, you would be disrupting them. But if it's like, you know, 11 o'clock at night or, you know, 1130 or something like that, most people are still up at that hour. But that's also, that's not scientific. That's just me kind of taking a guess. Maybe I know, all the people I know are late nighters. Anyway, that little, we started talking about that cool little transceiver. I went into record mode so I could listen to it later and get the model number and look it up. Because if you can do single sideband, as we all know, single sideband is a specialized form of amplitude modulation called single sideband suppressed carrier amplitude modulation. So if it can do a, if it can do single sideband in any way, you're saying that it wasn't exactly doing it by normal means, but that means it can do AM, which means that you probably is a good radio to listen to aviation on. But people forget that single sideband is in fact AM. So anyway, Peter, thank you for that excellent report. I loved it. And even recorded the part where you were talking about that radio. So I'm going to listen to that again and review it. Alright folks, that's the end of this third round. I will start a fourth round, but at this late hour, I'm going to say that this is going to be for the handlers for last call. So anybody out there, anybody out there who wants to get into this net, this is last call. This is KX2CW, Joan on Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington, asking for last call. And we're going to land in the nation of November 3, November 9th. We're going to launch a new mission of no time south of Florida. We're going to land out. Everyone have a great night. I'm back out tomorrow, so I'll be away for the rest of the week. But if you wanted to say hi, hi and bye. Hope you all have a great rest of your week. Alright, I got three operators and I only got one call sign, or I want a name out of it, no call sign. So I've got David and Moberge in the Dakotas. Moberge, I forget which Dakota, but David, I did not get your call sign. So David, could you give your call sign and say the state where Moberge is? I'll try it out. Okay, N3N2V, November 3, November Tango Victor. David, once again, in Moberge, South Dakota, we're in and out. Everyone have a great night. Alright, thank you for that, David. I've got South Dakota in no television for your suffix. N3N2V. There were two other stations, I'm just rolling the roulette wheel. One of you had low audio and didn't give your call sign at the end, but both of you were talking for a while. But go ahead, those two stations, pop back in with your call signs and then I'll sort you out. KJ7, Victor, I've got your uniform please. I'll come in quickly. Alright, go for that, Michael. Oh yeah, let's see where to begin. Oh yeah, a Yupir Mapper on a postcard on a National Lampoon Vacation is at the UP's in Wisconsin. Let's see, what was the other thing? Oh, I am a HO in my humble opinion. Watch out, that means I am HO. That's in Black American English, but that's for a license plate if they'll do it. Let's see, what else did I want to comment on? I don't know, I've got to go turn the water off, my fake plant is trickling and I don't want to let it run all night. Thanks Joan. KJ7VU, good luck. Alright, got those comments Michael. And there was a third operator, not David, not Michael, who was the third operator. Hey there, this is Amber, Kilo, Mike, Devin, Bravo, Victor, Tango. Hopefully I'm not talking alongside anyone else here. Just wanted to pop in, say hi and say bye. I'm going to be talking about DefCon for the rest of the week and I hope that you all have a great week out there. Alright Amber, thank you for that. I'm putting you in the log, I'm counting what you just said as a report. And I've got Kilo Mike, Devin, Bravo, Victor, Tango. I'm going to look you up now. Last time I looked you up you weren't in QRSAT yet. So, uh, Kilo Mike, so we know we've gone to Mike already from the KKs. We can't use L or uh, oh we are Mike, okay yeah. Kilo Mike, there we go. Hang on, I have to do this one handed and I have like about a 100 degree sweep of my attention span here. BVT, that's it. BVT, doink, with one finger. There you are, you made it in there. You have 11 look ups, Amber. 11, 11. So put some kind of fun content in there for biography. Alright, I've got you on the list. And so, um, I better ask for more stations. I was just going to go let Amber give her report, but I'll make sure there's any more stragglers out there. This is last call. Alright, Kingston Bill. Okay Bill. Alright, I've got you in the log, Bill. Any more stragglers? Kilo, Kilo 7, Victor, India, November. Jesse with an I O. Good evening to the net. Hey Jesse, I've got your calls signed. Thank you for your I O. Uh, thank you for driving by. Anyone, someone who's doubling with Jesse, who is that? Okay, we've got Mike and Chandler. Okay, and then N5AQM. There was also at least one K station. One or the other of the other stations, please give a call sign."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-11T22:16:57+00:00","id":16279,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":16278,"text":" play, pause, play, pause with a CD player, and then going back and playing it back and making a couple corrections. Just like Amadeus in Mozart in that film, except instead of drinking wine on a pool table, he's drinking coffee on a kitchen table. And then he grabbed the sheets and we'll listen to him again. He said, oh, I've gotta go to a rehearsal tonight, and he'd disappear. And then they would play that song to the repertoire in that executing. Anyway, so, but they also did that whole kind of rock, jazz rock era and blues and stuff like Blood, Sweat, and Tears was in their brush wire. One of my favorite things that's pretty obscure that we know about my family is 10-Wheel Drive, which inspired Blood, Sweat, and Tears. But they have, have, they're still out there, you look them up, a woman vocalist, and the record company wanted the male vocalist, so Blood, Sweat, and Tears was formed. But he played baritone, I think, in high school. And so you've played some Chicago, but Mark also would play, he and I think at least one other member of the band composed their own stuff, too. They add that in, too. They were a very popular band, played some big gigs, festivals and stuff, and it lasted for about 10 years, which is not a bad run. He's thought about starting it up again. But also, good luck in trying to be less sedentary. I know the feeling, I've gotten too sedentary. And you mentioned extra power chords and things, and we threw them out. You know, it's a mistake, because you know you're gonna need a chord after you throw it out or give it away. And I feel like that with my sound recording stuff is a bit more of a hodgepodge of gear. Oh, that's my second beat. Trina, you wanna have more than you need. Just in case, redundancy is more better. Take care, Herb. All right, and now the last two in this third round were another Ryan. I think it's a KM. I can't remember if I wrote a KK or a KM anyway. CSG is the suffix, an I-O. And then Mike, K, oh yes, IT. Let me look. I believe it is a KK, because the next one is KM, BDO. Mike was an I-O, and that's the end of that round. So, let's do fourth round. But this is getting late enough. So, it's time for me to wrap it up. Not right this minute, just instantly wake up. Put my administrative password in here so I can wake up the Mac here. There, so I can see things again. All right, so. Let's see, yeah, those are I-Os. All right, this is Joan Cax, WCW. Doing a last call round now. Call sign and name, please come now. GJW, VEU, color, GJW, VEU, recheck. All right, I've got your recheck, Mike, Michael. All right, new station, okay. More stations, please, last call. N3NTV, November 3, November Tango Victor, David, Moberg, South Dakota. Moberg, South Dakota. Not Solovay Drive, but South Dakota. And, I'm ready to cover south. Here we go, I've got you, David. More stations, please. DYNA, visit, DYNA, I visit. Oh, I didn't quite make that out, could you state your call sign more slowly, please?"},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-11T22:40:42+00:00","id":16283,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":16282,"text":" video or not. And so I've got our local time about UTC and the city, which is good for in your neck of the woods, so you're probably, um, um, you're probably a couple of hours earlier. I'm glad that you're here. I've been to you since you came in and I'm keeping your call for a committee in my log. Um, take care and, uh, 73 and I look forward to getting you down the log. Take care. And, uh, uh, the last entry I have in my log is an IO from Steven who is 4G1 YF. Uh, 4L1, the very Yaky's theater is here. I'm sure it will be it. Uh, to make sure I was getting the right confetti and I've got it right. And this is the end of the net. This is all she wrote. Um, and here's the script for my outro. Well, then I think that's a wrap. Thanks to all of you for joining the August 11th Pacific time in America. Uh, the nine o'clock net for 2025, the nine o'clock net. I'd like to thank the PPU sun reader group for the usage of this repeater. For more information about the group, please check out our website at psrg.org. The PSRG have been hosting daily nets for over 30 years. The nets are a great opportunity to test your equipment. Remember, if you don't test your equipment, we can't hear you. I'm now returning a repeater. I'm at the wrong reading lesson, Don. I'm now returning a repeater to normal operation. It's out of focus. It's too far away. This is Joan Kiekszentz, WCW, signing off at 10.33 pm Pacific time. Good evening. Goodbye. November 3, November Tango Victor, Kilo India 7, Ortega Nifom Bravo. Great. This is Draggler at the station in Germany. Go ahead. Yeah, Joan, I was actually calling Dave there. I thought you signed off, but nice to hear you. He really says, well, I just wanted to tell Dave that being a little bit dyslexic is not too bad. Being half blind is a lot worse, and if I could get my general, he could get his. As soon as he's done doing his general, he should go ahead and start for that extra, which is what I'm doing now. Joan, great to hear you. So early in the morning here in Germany, what is it, 7.35 in the morning? And you sound very good. But I think you should stop drinking coffee and go to bed. Gorgeous state, like I often work today, it was foggier than fog. I mean, I work on the west side of the Missouri River, and of course I live on the east side. Well, it was extremely foggy crossing the river, I had to slow down, but once the fog lifted, my daughter called up and my wife and I went out on the river with her and her husband and some friends and enjoyed a few hours out in the river, it was absolutely gorgeous. I came home and I crashed, so now it's time to play. And I know it's only September 1st, but I'm actually in my mind, I'm putting together my project for Christmas, I think you all know what I do then, so I've got to end the month, I send my package out to get the promo going, and for the 15th time I get to talk to the big man when he goes around the world. I know it's kind of early folks, but I've got to get everything rolling, get too many people involved. Other than that, not much going on here, it's my night off from work, I'm down to part time now, 32 hours a week, so I get a three day weekend every week, which is a lot of fun, I get more radio time. We're going to go watch a movie, not sure when I'll watch that, I'll pick a DVD out or see what's up streaming. And then five weeks from tomorrow, hockey season starts, so you'll be hearing me non-stop hockey talk at my station. I'm a Montreal Canadiens fan by birth, but I root for all the teams, I just love hockey, so I'll even root for the Kraken, so I can see them win the Stanley Cup soon. So with that, back to net, everyone have a great night, and a great week coming up. N3, NTV, back to net."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-01T21:32:12+00:00","id":30050,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":30049,"text":" Good evening, N3NTV. Actually I really don't follow the news anymore. I joke around saying earthquake stuff, natural disasters about it. And we're talking about automated vehicles. Someone now on 11 meters has high powered equipment. I forget where he's driving but he made sure everything was high powered. He's got an automated car in front of him. So he made sure his power was full blast, keyed up. And it basically killed the car. I guess the oddball computer couldn't handle the energy. I sort of laughed when I heard that. I don't watch news, it's depressing. So basically I watch the weather. We watch local news so that's about it. What's going on nationally, sometimes you have to listen because you have to know what's going on. But I avoid news. It's very depressing. But with that I'm going upstairs to visit the wife and think she's just waking up. We jump in the shower. We've got a contractor coming by sometime today to... My yard is done with my crap. It's too many weeds. Not the kind of weeds you have in Canada. Crabgrass and crap. We'll catch you all later on. Hope everyone has a great day. N3NTV, Dave in Mowbridge, South Dakota. We got to about, I think, 78 today, but it was kind of cloudy over Kesti, so it was definitely muggy outside. So I'm jealous of the sun that came out, Tom, because that definitely makes it less muggy. Glad to hear that you had a very relaxing day, the opposite of my day. Today was the first day of school, so it was a very hectic day. But hanging out with the squirrels, watching them, some entertainment, and then watching the Dodgers win a third game in a row. That's pretty exciting there. So good time for baseball. I haven't looked at where the Dodgers are in the standings, but I know our Mariners are hanging on up there. So let's hope that continues. You take care, Jeff, and we will talk to you again soon. All right. We had an I.O. from Cody, AG7LR, and we had an I.O. from David, N3, NTV. You two have a wonderful rest of your evening, and thanks for stopping by and saying hello. And now we're going to go talk to Kerry, M0RKN33, to Kerry. Thanks for stopping by there, John. It does sound like a relaxing day and a productive day, for sure. Grocery shopping is always a good one to get out of the way. We did some of that this evening ourselves. And yeah, anytime you can get something like a ceiling fan put together, yeah, that sounds like a good project, too. And I do not blame you for not wanting to climb up on a step stool or a ladder or anything without someone there to kind of help. Yeah, you don't want to fall. Ladders can be dangerous, for sure. But yeah, some guitars, TV, sounds like a good time. And the scripture's over there to Finn. So thanks for stopping by, John. You have a great rest of your evening. All right, we had two IOs this round, one from Peter, ke6rax, and one from David, N3, NTV. Thank you both for stopping by with IOs. And that brings me to the end of my list. So I'm going to say I'm Brooks, K9 BBC at 10.05 PM. And I'm going to pass it over to my co-host, Megan, to run the next round. Well I'm glad it's all starting to come along man. I know I've made a big move a bunch of times over the years and I don't want to ever make any more. That's for sure. I'm content where I'm to. Very content as a matter of fact. And it just goes to show you know you don't really need a big lot of space to be content. I've got a two bedroom apartment and that's plenty space for me and my three furry friends there. I wouldn't want to have any more cats though. You know in the size of the space that I've got here. Three is just, it seems to be just enough where they don't need to be entangled with each other if they don't need to be or if they don't want to be so. Alright so next up. I was vacuuming my keyboard a few minutes ago and I used these tiny little desk vacuums I guess you could call them. And I put a whole bunch of characters on the screen. I didn't know what I was even looking at there for a second when I was going over. Alright next up. We're going to Dave N3 NTV. Good morning Dave. How's everything going with you man?"}]}
