But the temperature is like 60 degrees right now. So after it's cooling off, I'm wondering if I can make it. I have this deadline. I don't put on pants until November 1st. This is KJ5IRQ. Anybody else who, and I guess I'm going to limit this to people who are married because that's what it applies to here. I have this wife you see. I love her dearly. Been married almost 23 years. And yet, see what we put up Halloween decorations outside. Now, I'm trying to compromise with her and tell her that we shouldn't put up Halloween decorations outside until the beginning of October. That she could go ahead and decorate the inside of the house now and then we could decorate the outside of the house in October. And to threepen the pot to try to get her to compromise on my side, I even threw in that she could go ahead and decorate Christmas inside and outside November 1st. You see how nice of a husband and accomodating I am. Apparently that's not going to work either. So, I am taking advice from wiser men than me. Is this a battle worth fighting? Or should I just go ahead and submit and make the wife happy? Anyhow, I thought I'd lighten the tone up a little bit because that really is something that my wife and I are talking about. She tried to get me to put up all the blow ups yesterday and I said, no, I don't want to have to mow around them yet. Gosh, it's September 7th? Anyhow, she's from upstate New York and she's missing her New England-ish style autumns. I think that's why every year she wants to do it earlier and earlier. Anyhow, what say you? Would you work with your wife and let her go ahead and decorate the outside at the beginning of September for Halloween? Or would you fight and try to stand proud against the onslaught of decoration until October 1st? I guess that's a good question."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-25T04:06:24+00:00","id":97958,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":97957,"text":"No worries, returning from MS7KIU, just before we do a 7-3, could you repeat your call sign, please, loudly and phonetically, thank you. Great to hear from you, sir, and it was great to know that you had a good ATV ride out last weekend. I do believe you had to share a vehicle with some friends of yours because yours was in the shop getting some repairs. So maybe you could let us know if that's all done as well. Because I think you did say you use it over the winter months for doing some snow plowing in different bits and pieces. You could maybe kind of clarify that, but no problem. But I hope you've got your own ATV back home or if it's still in the shop, you can let us know. And good to hear the critter report. We love our critter reports here. Very nice to hear about Riga there. And Riga, of course, just a few weeks younger than our puppy, Odin, here, who's doing amazingly well. And we especially have to say, Paul, we had a wee trip into the breeder that we got Odin from. And her husband is a very well-known and respected dog trainer. He does police dogs and sniffer dogs and dogs of all different types and everything else, as well as just helping people train their dogs for a nice kind of family purpose and everything else, just to be a nice family dog. And we've been at several classes of puppy training. And when we went there on Wednesday evening, he said to us, you have to reset things. We said, what does reset mean? He said, forget everything you've been taught. And we spent two hours with him, Paul, and honestly, since Wednesday evening, well, since yesterday morning, we've put in place the things that he was telling us. And they all make sense. And honestly, Odin, yesterday and today, has been like a different dog. He's, you know, he's, you know, yeah, so I mean, I could go into an awful lot more detail, but we just take far too much time. But I have to say, it was a wonderful, wonderful visit. So we really appreciated that. And so there we go. Let me throw it back to you. How's your ATV? Have you got it back from the repair shop there, Paul? Back to you from GM0, UUB."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-10-17T13:28:20+00:00","id":62618,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":62617,"text":" Well, very good, Paul. Well, thank you. Thank you so much for that. And he wasn't glad you had a good weekend last week, apart from, of course, the breakdown and tow towards the end. That's not so good. I hope everything gets sorted without being too much of a cost and everything else and you can get back to it as soon as you have enough of good fun with the ATV and your friends there as well and sharing that activity at the weekends, perhaps. So that sounds great. And I wonder, did Riga keep the goggles on for the full trip? I hope she was behaving really well there. But it seems like great, great fun and I love the autumn colors as well there, Paul. Absolutely wonderful, wonderful. I've taken a few pictures. I've not had the main camera out, the DSLR. I haven't, you know, I've got it all ready. It's ready to go and the tripod ready and everything else to go and do things. But of course, when we're taking out puppy Odin with us, it's not quite, you know, all the kit and the little that goes with the DSLR activities with all the hanging onto a five month old puppy being berserking. It's just always kind of very compatible. So I'm just kind of relying on the old iPhone to take some pictures of the autumn colors around here. But yeah, the colors are fantastic. They really are. And of course, the leaves are falling down and causing a little bit of a nuisance to some people's gutters. But thankfully, the trees around here are far enough away from our property not to cause us any difficulties. When we stayed up in Dunkeld, oh man, I'll tell you I had to clean out the gutters just about every two weeks. The leaves, we had big, big trees all around us. So it was something else. But anyway, there we go. Anyway, Paul, let me throw it back to you and see if you have anything else for us. And I hope you get your CV sorted pretty quick because it sounds like an activity that you very much enjoy. So it's great. And yeah, we'd love to hear more. Anyway, back to you, Paul, from GM0UV."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-02T03:42:38+00:00","id":30144,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":30143,"text":" Good morning, George.
