Maybe your transmission will work better this time. Go ahead, please. Well, good morning, everybody. Again, N0HC. Oh, I don't know why I squeezed my phone or something. I don't know. So, certainly, this one's not for Joe there. So Joe's talking about taking boats out and stuff that were really good stuff to see and stuff. So this is for Joe a little bit. So see if I said the Mogo Bismarck, something like that. I used to race real close here. I didn't race those big races. Other ones I did, actually, but that was a long time ago. But anyway, and they should put a plaque up there, something because it's in the movies and stuff. And one of those movies was with Costner in American Fire. Also rode through there, and that was his first movie and stuff. And then there's a racetrack that used to be there at Coal Creek and just closed off for quite a while. And one great person died out of it. It had a very steep spot to fall through and stuff. But anyway, I can remember trying to race there, and it was still snowing. It's still snowing. I go, I don't care. I'm going. So I did a very wet snow race that got into my electric, so it dropped on that one. But anyway, but they had put a trail now, just a regular trail and stuff, and it's really neat. And it has a, on top of it, it has a steel shelter or something like that, where they used to do the paperwork and stuff, and it's still there. So I was so excited to see that go through. Burtford Motorcross last time, it's been about almost five years ago where houses took it over. You know, they get, they're in the middle of nowhere, and then the track's there, and then they're complaining because they put their house there. You know how that goes. So anyhow, so that's, but anyway, like I said, Coal Creek, I'd like to get somewhere and put something up where people, you know, where it's kind of cool in the background, or in the past. OK. So, and I'm doing a normal thing, Poda soda, and how much time I got? Poda soda and the Libra. So I got a thing that checks my blood sugar, and it failed, and I used to turn that off because it'd wake me up in the middle of the night real late. And trying to get that is hard to do right now. So that's one of the things I'm doing today. So anyhow, there you go, some circles and stuff. But yeah, American flyers, that was a lot of fun."},{"callsign_confidence":0.8200000000000001,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-07-21T07:54:06+00:00","id":9087,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":9086,"text":" November 7, Romeo Hotel Victor. I got N7RHV, AG7MR, JC7YFV, VA6DRZ, V01UKD, Short Time DC3FDX, N0HC, VE4YYL, and JG7WA. So let's go up to our Short Timer, V01UKD. Hey, good morning, Darrell. How you doing, buddy? Wow, I started talking without pushing the button. That doesn't work. I just wanted to jump in and say hello, Art, and wish you a good morning. And that goes for everybody on the net. I hope everybody's having a good round out for the weekend, or a good start for the weekend, I guess you could say. Because it's only Saturday morning, yet Saturday and Sunday left yet. I haven't done any camping yet this year, strangely enough. I like to go camping from time to time. It's not something I, you know, have got to do 365 days a year or anything, but camping is definitely nice from time to time. Other than that, man, I just wanted to let you say hello, so I'll put it back to you. 7-3, V01UKD. I thought I was done. Sorry. Hey, Darrell, yeah, you kind of froze things up a little bit, so there you go. So I had to wait for right y'all to get you just so there you go so I can get back in here. But anyhow, buddy, if you can hear me, take care, buddy. And we will talk at you later. 7-3 for now, and have yourself a great day. So with that, let's see. Let's move up to the top of the list. M7, RHC. Hey, good morning, family. How you doing? I'll see what happens. I brought them all with me. Good and fine, those jackkins. And then I come in and there they are. Everybody can probably get that from getting a cup of coffee, like you said, or tea. In my case, just a little bit of water because I haven't crawled out of the sack yet. And the water bottle is the first thing I grab in the morning to get rid of that dry mouth from that CPAP machine. So, yeah, but then I can talk. Trying to talk with that thing around there, my daughter calls me and asks, Oh, the internet isn't working. Like, I'm going to do something about it at 10 o'clock at night? I don't think so. You know, you're not going to get a hold of anybody and try to talk with them. But it was fun. So I finally got a treat. I'll worry about it in the morning. I ain't worrying about it tonight. So anyway, I went to the ticker doctor yesterday. Everything's kosher with him. And I'm doing good, I guess. So, but he wants to bring it up to date. He wants to do an echocardiogram somewhere down the road. And it's been a while. So everybody's happy. I'm happy. Happy pappy. Oh, wow. So that's it. I haven't got a whole heck of a lot starting to ramble. So there you go. Grab one of those micro bandwaps. There we go. Now the mic's 99.9% germ free for the next 24. And seven RHV back to net. All right. Thanks a lot for wiping down the bike. Yeah. There goes out there in the middle of the night. You can do about it. So there you go. The only thing you can do is get on their site and see if maybe there's an outage somewhere. That's about all you can do. Just go to sleep. That's one way to get all the kids off the Internet. Shut them all down at night. So there you go. So they have no choice but to go to bed. All right, pappy. Thanks a lot for checking in. Let's go down here and try 87 MR. Good morning, Mr. Terry. How you doing? This is repeater station. All right. I'm going on here this morning. We're going up to about 87 degrees here. I have a track. I got sunshine. So that means that the clouds are already dissipating this morning. And that's a lot of going on. I'm looking for packages. All this government stuff. The VA line. I ordered some space for me from the VA. They won't be until Tuesday. And the other ones are already going away. It's going to be an interesting weekend anyway. So as of now we're doing pretty good. And the fire up in Oak Ridge on the East side of Oak Ridge is almost contained. The last time I heard from my brother who's on the family beach. I think while we were shot I got a feeling that the railroad probably started it. Because the railroad tracks are actually going to be there. Anyway, maybe we finally got one in the fire dock and the ridge. Alpha-epicosaur and micro-omeovac. And ATH, so in the group. Thank you for bringing me in because you can't pick me up. Alpha-epicosaur and micro-omeovac tonight. Hi there Mr. Terry. Good to hear you this morning. I don't know. I don't think I heard what started that one up there. I don't know if it was. Was it trains or maybe a lightning strike or something? But it's hard to tell. So we'll say 73 to you and we will talk at you later. With that let's move on down to the K-7 YFE. Dale, good morning. Well, top of the morning there aren't any rest of the net. Well I just about gave you the wrong call so I named ATH-J, K-7 YFE. And I figured I'd get up out of that nice comfortable bed. Put my shoes on my feet. Then get up and get some coffee down now. I don't want to be lazy. I was going to go to breakfast this morning but I might make it that way over at Denny's. Where they usually have it every Saturday morning. But transportation being a travel problem, it makes you a problem to try to get over there. Since I live way across town from Denny's restaurant. And yeah, I've walked over there a couple times. With one hand for a good walk I'll tell you. Otherwise the day seems to be kicking off okay. We're getting a good start here. Coming into the net and saying hello to everyone here. That's pretty much all I got. So I encourage all to keep coming back and keep up the good work. And with that I'm going to have to go get a little bit of coffee. So I'm going to go ahead and send the mic back to you. And drop it for us while we're doing a little extra wipe down of it there. Micro-band wipes always come in handy. Better than just as good as a spray. But the spray goes everywhere. The wipes, they put the chemical or whatever right where it's supposed to be. In case you suffer while I beat back to you. Alright there Dale, alright Dan. Go make yourself another pot of coffee. And hey coffee is always good. Good first cup in the morning. So there you go. The stronger the better is what I say. So anyhow Mike you take care. And well maybe you'll get over there to Demi's and get breakfast this morning with the guys. So there you go. So we'll say 73 for you from us here at UJ Chair buddy. And we will talk with you later. Alright with that let's move on down to VA6-GRZ. Hey Bill good morning. November 8th. Tango Hotel Juliet VA6-GRZ returning. Hi Art. Everybody on the net? Yeah I actually decided to get up early this morning. Get back up a little bit early this morning. Had my breakfast already. I got my visual therapy appointment at 1020. So I wanted to come down here on the net for a bit. And go talk to another ham on the radio that I have talked to in a while there. So and of course there's no action happening on 6 meters. So anyway oh we've got currently 16 degrees, 525, 1677 Fahrenheit. Sun and cloud, 30% chance of showers and possibly thunderstorms. Probably tonight. That's usually when it all comes out. So and we'll go shop and after I get back from my my physiotherapy appointment. Yeah it was fun. It was kind of interesting Joe talking to Missy about foot and ankle injuries. So I'm living that right now. It's like okay I can't keep doing this ice on ice off BS for keeping the swelling down. Or get rid of it. So we'll see what the physiotherapist has to say. Unless everybody out there knows. I know salt is not good for swelling. So forget about the Epsom salts in cold water. Won't work. So there we go. Okay 73 everybody. Have yourselves a great day. Any THJ VA 6th chair in Edmonton, Alberta. Alright dear Bill. Alrighty buddy. Thanks a lot for checking in. Hopefully your ankle gets better and stuff like that. So yeah I know. Every once in a while my wife will bring me a tub of Epsom salt water back here. So I can stick my right foot in there and try to get whatever swelling is in there down. So there we go. But we'll talk at you later buddy. You take care. Alright with that let's move on down here to VE3FBX. Good morning. How you doing? Good morning. It is VE3FB. Bravo X. Morning's getting going. Coffee's done. Just about to start reorganizing and re-wiring my little shack. I'm a new ham so going through things a few times and getting everything set up. Gonna be around this thing all day but gonna have my hands full. Back to med control. Alright dear Bentley. Alright buddy. Good to hear you in. Thank you very much for correcting me on that one and that's what happens when... When I don't pull the cotton out of my ears. So there you go. War turned up to a zero day. It's one of the two. But we got your call corrected in the log. So there you go. Alright buddy you take care. Get that shack straightened around the way you want to do it. And we will talk at you later buddy. Take care. With that let's move on down here to N0HC. Hey good morning Clem. How you doing? This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7 November... Good morning King Arthur. N0HC. What's wrong with that? Anyway, thank you for taking my check in, and what a glorious morning. This is my favorite time of year. I love the soaking heat of late August. Even during the day on these hot days, I'm in Tigard, so it's going to be another 100 degree day, but I'm out on the porch early with my coffee, and it's 68 degrees, and just glorious. So, yeah, I love this time of year. And even on into September and even October. As you all know that live here, the rains will come, and starting in November, it's a whole different type of living. But I'm taking it while I can get it and really enjoying it. I'm having a lot of fun. Quick break. I'm back. Well, some fun. Diagnosing the furnace in my ancient Winnebago. It would not ignite on my first trip this summer. Hopefully it will work on my next trip in September. But, you know, these old folk girls, mine's 40 years old. You've got to have them. I was like, wait, where are the chickens at? So, oh my goodness, an ankle, yeah Missy, I can relate. I didn't break an ankle, but back in my karate days, I had literally lived karate. Oh my gosh, I was so into it and became a second degree black belt and I actually lived it. And I was really good at flying sidekicks, you know, you're kind of running. I kind of remember how high I used to jump, but it was truly mind boggling even when I think of it today. Well, on one of those, when I landed, you know, my toe was kind of, my foot's kind of angled down like a tap dancer. And when I landed, it landed and twisted sideways and just ripped the heck out of my ligaments. And yeah, that put me on for six months and I was probably 20, 21 years old. I was pretty young at the time and oh gosh, for years after that, probably 10 years after that, even at that young age, if I was in the car and had the heater on, the heater's blowing down at the bottom by your feet, my foot would swell up. Yeah, finally got over it, but my gosh, that was the most pain. I actually wanted to stop. It hurt so bad at the time. Crazy stuff. So yeah, I don't recommend anything but the ankle. It didn't break any bones, but there's a ton of bones in your foot, but all the ligaments and muscle, yeah, it was really, really messed up. So anyway, other than that, Art, I'm just floating on in the background. It's warm. I woke up to 87 degrees and just didn't feel like riding because it was a bit windy, but tomorrow's my day to ride, so I'll get out there tomorrow. Anyway, that's it for here and it's Joe Mosley, it's KK, that was the back of the net. Hi there, Joe. All right, good to hear you this morning. It's like you once a day for being in the background. You never know what's going to happen yet. And I do see the WATDN is not connected. Don't know what's going on with that one this morning, but it's hard to tell. Yeah, they might be sleeping or trying to find coffee, so they're kind of... All right, buddy, you take care and we will talk at you later, buddy. All right, OK, let's go to KG6WKO, Kathy. Good morning, how you doing? KG6WKO, Kathy. Well, I'm sort of busy because I don't come very often, but I was up early this morning. It's supposed to be 90 degrees here, so I have to take the dog out for a walk and stuff. I lost my timer, so I got my set bit in my hand trying to watch the time. So I'm showing up for the three minutes because I don't know what I did with that little timer I used. I've been cleaning up the house and I actually started with my computer, which I didn't think I used. It's Windows 10 and in October it's not going to be supported at all. And it's an old computer, so I couldn't upgrade. And so it was either buy a new computer or take that one down. And I decided to not have a computer because I rarely use it, although my hand radio thing is on there to program my little bay thing, my little handheld radio. And my iTunes music I lost, but I decided to not get another one. And so I've been really busy. I started with the computer, now I'm starting with closets and cleaning things up. And some place I put that timer, which I'm going to be looking for. And I'm sorry, I missed you, it was because I was looking for the timer. So anyway, I took out the hard drives on my computer and two external hard drives that actually died and I couldn't get the information off of them. So I saw YouTube and I took them all apart and took out the little platters. I took out four platters from my computer and a platter for each of the hard drives. And now I have six platters that I don't know what to do with because they're like metal. They're like DVDs but metal. And to break them, I don't know. So they're in my bookcase. So anyway, it's free to get rid of all the stuff. I'm telling you right now, it's very free. I've been here 30 years and I've collected things that I don't use in closets and stuff. Anyway, I'm going to turn it over to you because I don't know how long I've been on and I don't have my timer. Back to you, 86WKO CABI, exit 73. Alright, sure CABI, alright. Yeah, good to hear you. It has been a while since I've heard you, so there you go. Let's see, well you can always try putting them in, putting them by metal platters in a place and bend them over and everything else. And get rid of them that way. Your dad will wait for some place that has a computer drop, old computer drop off and just drop everything off of them and they'll get rid of everything for you. So there you go. Alright, UJ Caron will say 73 for them. Alright, with that let's go down here to stand and metal. KB7, DBW, good morning metal, how you doing? Well, I guess I'm doing okay right now. I took my tie-lock drill here an hour ago and so I'm not in any pain right now. Let's see, my son came over yesterday and we started cleaning out of that bedroom and got rid of a few things. So he's going to have to come over again I guess or I'm going to have to work on it. One box at a time. I don't know right now, but when you first came out I was hearing a radio in the background. But it seems to have gone away now so maybe you turned it down. But that's it from, well it's going to be almost 100 degrees tomorrow and Monday here. So, good thing we got a new air conditioner put in here a couple of months ago. So we should be fine. KB7, DBW, back to you. Alright, good to hear you this morning. Yeah, well we're supposed to be like 85 today and then going to get closer to 90s next week and stuff like that with a chance of rain coming in. So there you go. But heat index is going to really, really make it bad here. So there you go. Alright buddy, we'll say 73 to you and you have yourself a great day. Alright, this is the worldwide friendship event. I am November 8th, I'm going to tell you that I'm here in Springfield, Ohio. And temperature is slowly going up, but it is humid out there. You know, it's actually later in the season where we return, I guess outside Colorado, the west side is really hot. As far as fire and stuff like that. Mom, let me hear you. Somebody, we can talk about bunnies, huh? Is it like a cartoon? I had a bus out here and I pushed them off a little bit because they were just like, you know, you're hurting my yard. So I got a couple of them here and there and stuff and they're good. Just don't, not too much, but. So, what does it mean? Anyway, yep, I'm here doing my same old stuff. Sota, sorry, Pota. I really do get the Sota, I really do. It's how they work in predictable weather. You know, grab a friend of mine and my dog and stuff so I really need to get that going and stuff. But yeah, I like the little punchy story, that's really, that's touching. It really is such good stuff. Alright, so that's all I got. Everybody have a great, great day. And back to that injury. I wish I knew how to write a bunny, a bunny song, you know, like a heroic bunny song. I don't know how to do that, but I can figure it out. That'd be cool, because it's just such a touching story. I wrote a, oh gosh, a song about me and Cindy last night and it wasn't in the plans either. I was planning to write about something else and I started writing about what I was going to write about and the next thing I know, I've got a whole song of Cindy written down and I'm thinking to myself, well, I guess God wanted me to do that. So I just, it just like enveloped from what I had planned to the city, so like, I mean, I guess I always think about if there's a way to do something like that. I've never done something like that, but you never know. All I'm going to say on this is God works in mysterious ways because I believe that God had a hand in me writing the song I did last night and maybe, you know, God wanted you to save a bunny. You never know. All right, KC7LAS and KC7GHP, good morning to you both. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven, November Quebec November. Good morning there. Good morning, here's founding trades here and doing a great job. Always good to hear the newcomers too as well, for sure. And, yeah, that was a real cute story there, Joe. Yeah, it made my, it made the heart melt, that's for sure. Yeah, it reminds me when Joe and I were in Northern California on my neck of the woods and going over to Lakeport, through Lakeport to get to the ocean. And we were going along there and Joe happened to spot something in the middle of the highway and got moving. So he parked over on the side and got out and walked over to it. I said please don't be careful with the traffic. And he picked it up and it was about a 10 or 12 inch turtle crossing the road. So he picked it up carefully and brought it over to the other side and set it in the bushes. And so that was the turtle rescue, so that's the part. Anyway, we knew that we'd save the turtle unless he decided to come around and fall back. Anyway, good year everyone and yeah, we're jealous too of Roy and Sue. We want them to enjoy every minute of that wonderful, beautiful scenery over there and the beautiful weather. Oh, if we could just get some of Robert's rain or some of the Ohio rain. We just need it so badly. It will not rain. And there it is, the monsoon season as well. Anyway, we came in and gosh, the humidity out there is 58%. It's a little warm, so we spent part of the time out there. And then we could hear, I say our hawks because there's been several generations hatched here. And the neighbors have chickens, so we can hear him firing. I don't know if it's 22 short. And we're just worried that he's going to end up killing them. I understand he wants to protect the chickens and he has them out part of the time, but these hawks have been around for three or four generations now. So we have a personal touch with them and with our drones and everything. And the neighbors are fairly new. They don't know anything about our history with these hawks. So it hurts. Okay, so over time there. Anyway, over to Joey and he'll take care of their Missy and get well soon. And they're in our prayers. Hi to Rosie too. Yeah, but how are you here, Joey? Hey, good morning there gang. KC7THC going high tech here. Yeah, Joyce, you just ruined my cheapen image. Anyway, Bicycle Joe, that was a neat bunny story, I'll tell you. Did you give it mouth to mouth with sanitation? I mean, that could be hard with buck teeth and everything. That was really cute though, we appreciated that, I'll tell you. Anyway, Joey told that turtle story pretty well. But it's been what, 15 years? I guess she's off the list. I told her, made her promise she would never tell that she'd ruin my cheapen image. But I don't have much of a cheapen image anymore because I haven't really driven the cheap in about a year now or more. Anyway, we were outside and having coffee and we just came in because we're kind of getting hungry and out on the screen porch again. Anyway, that's what's going on over here. Back in that control, KC7THC. Yeah, I'm hungry too and I want to eat my breakfast. I really want to eat my breakfast. So, I don't know. Maybe Gail, if you take the end of the net after this round, then I can eat my breakfast because otherwise I've got to wait. I've got to see if I, well, I've got to see if somebody will heat it up. So it doesn't matter, I guess. As long as they don't come take it from me, I'm good. All right, let's see, where am I at now? Oh yeah, Z4YYL, Rosie, good morning, what's up with you? CC7FMW, this is Victor Acapoy and good morning to you, good morning to the love birds and good morning to the bunny saver. Yes, that was a nice story this morning, that's for sure. Wow, and good morning to everybody else here. And even the people who are camping make me jealous. Hi, hi. So, I would love to be out camping too, but too much smoke, that's not good for me. So, and I don't have a tent trailer, I only have a tent trailer. So, and you still will smell the smoke right through, you know. So I haven't really been camping this year. But however, next month we take a trip to Alberta again, so that will be a nice trip again. So, not much to add, take care everyone. Doing not too bad, my foot seemed to be a lot better since I had that massage on Saturday. So, if you ever get a massage, ask them to do that very, very lightly and that will help. You know, you got to be careful of doing it. So, you got to trust the person as well. So, yeah, you take care of me, you're sounding really good, a lot better than I ever heard you. So, back to you. ."},{"callsign_confidence":0.8200000000000001,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-25T07:41:13+00:00","id":24198,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":24197,"text":" All right, you're mr. Yeah, Rosie, I remember you had your neck and all that stuff and now you still have problems and pain with them. I think anything we do, we're going to have problems, especially as we get older. Glen, you're lucky. Yeah, I think we probably have all broken toes and didn't know it because I don't think there's anything they can do about it anyway. You know, that's what they always say, so I've never done anything except for esteem and pain. And that's about it. So there you go. I thank you both. Glad we got another dynamic duo in. And I see Cliff back. Hopefully, Cliff, let's try again. I don't know what the heck's going on with your signal, but it's not like it's breaking up. It's like you key up, you start talking, and it just un-keys completely. It's not like you're even breaking up there. It just completely goes off. So let's give you one more try. Hope this keeps going for a while. I was on TV, so there you go there, Joe. Just had fun there. But when I was a kid in Wichita Falls off of Sheppard Air Force Base, we were on a TV show for that. It was a spooky daytime show with all the stuff that should be on Halloween or something like that. And I can't remember what it's called, and I should know it because it had a high voltage thing. It looks like an old TV where it's a V, but it had all the electrical going up and down and stuff. And I saw that in my aerospace company that they're working with that. So it's going zzz, zzz, zzz. And so being in high school and whatever again, so our group was. There was about four of us that did that. So that was kind of fun. Anyway, got to have some fun. I hope this gets through.
