It was Buddy when we picked him up, and then Rafa in honor of Rafa Nadal, the tennis player, and now it's Rusty. He is kind of rust colored, but anyway, we're doing fine here at Land Elvis Barbecues that got up in the 70s today here, Graham and Queen Ellen and everybody. So nice and warm. I did a little yard work when I got home. And the little buddy here is a little rusty here, is laid out. He did some zoomies in the yard earlier. But anyway, I'll take a pip and let Robbie Ray, third party, tell you how the week's been here. Let me just take a pip, as you say, Graham. KY4ENB taking a pip. KY4ENB returning with Robby Ray third party and little Rusty. Hey Graham, hey Helen. Yeah we uh he's a great little dog. He had some great qualities and then he had some other ones that we're working on but the main one is going out in the yard and he's like what am I out here for you know so takes a long time to get him to do his business but um anyway he uh he's a sweet little thing I have to say he is a sweet little thing and um yeah we're thinking about now calling him rusty he doesn't answer anything really I just wonder about his background sweet dog but um uh what else has happened we're just working on things mainly the well he's not a big leash Walker either. They said he was leash trained but I think that meant just clipping the leash part onto the collar and that was it. He's not a big excited about walking somewhere like my other dogs were so we don't know. Anyway we're working on we've only had him we hadn't had him a week tomorrow would be a week so we but we have officially told them yes we'll be the parents yes and we're keeping him so anyway we're excited he's a sweet thing but I'm tired and exhausted.       "text": "Well, we've settled on Rusty, I think, even though Robbie Ray was like, huh, I wonder if there's another name he'd answer to. But anyway, Buddy was the name when we picked him up, but didn't answer to that much, so we thought of some others. But I think for now it's Rusty. He's rust colored, and that works pretty good. He blends in with the leaves for sure out here, Dave. And they said four years and two months when we picked him up, him up so I guess about four years and four months now or three months something like that four years plus so he's a good dog he's still full of energy and still still young. I did know him but only through the radio, not personally, whereas the other John, he worked in the vineyards. A great radio friend actually got my licence with him. He also passed away around the same time. I suppose that's how life goes, you know, early in life we go to a lot of 18th and 21st birthdays and then weddings and later in life we go to a lot of funerals sadly.
