"text": " Excessive exuberance. Oh, that's classic. All right, Jeff. Well, hey, go Dodgers, go Brewers, go Ems, go Blue Jays, go everybody. Let's have some good sportsmanship out there and let's have some good games, okay? That's my take on it, but of course, go Ems. Here we go. Jeff, thanks a lot. You have a great afternoon. Have a great week ahead, of course. KMS-0Q, Darren dropped by. He had an eye on the force. Hope he's doing well today. Let's go talk to my neighbor. One of my many AM neighbors, and there are a lot of them, believe me. AM7 CLP. Hey, London. Howdy, howdy. Nice check-in at noon here. But power went out at home at 11, so most of my hobbies being electrical in nature. I had to kind of figure out what to do with myself, and so I wandered across the water. I'm sitting parked in front of VETCO right now. Figured I'd go in and see if there's anything to catch my eye, because electronics never ever just leap into my bag and make their way home with me. But haven't been over in a while, and somebody was talking on one of the nets last week about picking up a grab bag at VETCO, and it's like, well, that sounds like a good idea. I could use some random-ass components. Sure, sure. I like that. But yeah, with the power being out at home, I decided I'd go elsewhere until they figure it out. Pretty typical first windy day we get. I'm on some sub-grid that almost always goes out the first wind we get in the neighborhood. Curious, Jack, how do you have power? Hey, Cal. This is London. KM7 CLP. Back to Ned."

"text": " All right, Lon and Wel, when you have discussions with your significant other about adding more gear to the shack, do stress the importance of emergency communications in times of stress and need. That will help win your argument, I hope. Okay, so anyway, hey, hold on a second. You know what? You could do right away, speak up a little tiny bit closer to the mic, maybe add a little bit of volume behind that. But I want to get back to you about the electronic music. Of course, we've got a lot of musicians here on the PSR-G net, so that's always a point of interest to a lot of people. So, real quick, you've got some kind of contest where you're composing a three-minute electronic track of some sort. Could you name a couple of electronic music influences in your past experiences, if you would?"

"text": " Ah, that's interesting. Well, he might have been on his small device, could be, but we'll try it in a little bit. KM7CLP, how are you? KM7CLP, Lonan here. Doing great. This is actually my first time on a net anywhere. I just started in on the hobby just a few, you know, about a month ago or so. I came back from DEFCON, Big Hacker Convention in Las Vegas with a little software-defined radio USB fob thing. I stuck it in and started listening to channels and I've been kind of listening about the area, hanging out on the health and wellness checks for Lake Washington ham club bits. But I check over here when I heard about the 9 and noon nets that are running over here. Jeff got my license on Saturday, so this is all very new. If I am doing crazy things that I should not be doing on a net, I'll know about it. I'm still figuring out the culture and figuring out all the technology. But as you know Jeff, it's a lovely, lovely day here in Maple Lake. KM7CLP, traffic control."
