KI7 PBR, all right. Gary, I've got you. Who's next? Double HU, seven H. This is James. Jack, I need to be in and out, please. Thank you. All right, must be having a sale on some kind of special fruit down at the fruit market. All right, have a good day there, James. I'll talk to you a little bit later. CQ seven H with an I-O. Who's next? Kilo Kilo seven, seven, Papa Juliette, Macau, Covington, Washington. Macau's on the list. Nice to hear you stand by. Anybody else? This is repeater station Kilo Kilo seven, November, Quebec, November. Let's go back and talk to Gary. Gary, KI7 PBR. Good morning. Yeah, good morning to the net. Kilo is either seven, Papa Bravo, Romeo, or as a lot of people like to call it, Papi Blue Ribbon. Sitting down here in Chandler, Arizona, my dining room table. Just relax and lurk on this net a lot. Don't check in very often, but just thought it was a good time to check in. Just got back from a week and a half of being on the road. We were up in Zion, Utah. And I decided to do a full activation while I was in Zion. If you're familiar with Zion, it's at the bottom of a canyon. And so I did in a day and a half of activating, I managed to get three contacts. But I was just running a little camp too with a vertical portable antenna. It was fun, great weather. Had a good time. And then went down to Southern California to go see the grandbaby and the family. And had a good time. I tried the weather was good there as well. Spent a lot of time enjoying my family on the back patio in mid 80s, great temperature. And then when you're coming from Chandler, where it's 110, that makes for a pretty nice afternoon. Anyway, you all have a good day. This is Kilo India 7. Pop pop pop, Romeo. All right, Gary Brough, what a nice road trip that was. Well, yeah, I think at the bottom of a canyon, it could have been a little difficult. But hey, three contacts is three contacts, right? Hey, real quick, do you know Mike N58QM, also of Chandler, Arizona? Do you know N58QM by chance? Yeah, he's an annoying little guy. Yeah, we're very good friends. He was one of my very first radio contacts when I left in stuff eight or nine years ago. And we get together quite often. We go with a group that would call me. Every Friday, we have our hamster barks. It's the group that I started back during COVID, because it was something we could do and get out, get away. We'd go set up our portables in the park. And he's a big supporter of that. And we go out at least once a month between October and April every year. And in between, we just get together and lunch. But yeah, I talk to him quite a bit. He's a very good friend of mine. We're real good at spending each other's money on new radios. All right, yeah, I thought that you had mentioned recently, well, whenever that was, whenever, I don't know, maybe he mentioned you. I can't remember exactly how I knew that. But I thought I did. Well, there we go, the Romeo lunches, the events out in the park. That is great. Yeah, he's a good guy. And he has got a stack of radios about three miles high. That's great. All right, hey, Gary, you got to check in more often. Great to hear from you, my friend. All right, well, you have a great Monday, Scorchville. Of course, that's what Mike called it on the net last night. He checked in and said, yeah, we're back to Scorchville, 110, 115. Oh, boy. Anyway, all right, will you take care? Have a great week. All right, WQ7H, James checked in today with an I. No, sound good there, James. Have a good day. KK7ZPJ Magoo in Covington is up next. How you doing? Hey, Jack. Have a new radio here. It's a little balfunked. Or not balfunked, but balfang. Balfunked is defunct, I think. And I think it's getting the job done. Just has to get to my all-star network. I think as I last left it, the 3D printing bug had hit me hard. We bought a used unit for 120 and then went ahead and got the Anycubic Cobra S1. And as it turned out, that unit had some issues. And we returned it. And now we're expecting the Cadillac, which is the bamboo, 9 whatever it is, 9 series. And so plans are to get that sometime this week and unbox it and get it all rolling. In the meantime, we're making all sorts of accessories for it using the original one. Been just so much fun watching this stuff just come to life. And then today, last week I did some spraying of a fence. And I got a little bit of overspray on the siding of the house. And I need to go back with some goo to get the latex stain off of it. So it's kind of a yucky job. But somebody's got to do it because I can't leave the overspray on the siding. That's really all I've got going between work and 3D printer play. That's all that's making Mike an exciting boy. Back to you, Jack. Magoo, Kilo Kilo 7, Zulu Papa Juliet. All right, Magoo. Yeah, that overspray business, that's no good. Yeah, I knew a guy one time, a painting contractor, that oversprayed a whole parking lot of cars. Yeah, he told the guys that it would be OK. The wind's not going to come up. The wind came up pretty good while they were spraying. And oh, boy, did he ever have some hot, hot people in the parking lot there. Anyway, hey, real quick, so yeah, you're probably getting some really interesting downloads off GitHub and Thingiverse. Now, what about this new bamboo printer? I think the other day you said the great thing about this, other than being a Cadillac of printers, is that it will do four colors. Is that right? The one module that we're getting with it, in sort of a combo, it does the four. But you can actually stack three more of those units. So it could do up to 16 colors. The thing is, when you do multicolor printing on these things, there's a lot of filament waste because the filament has to retract. It's kind of crazy, though, because you can instruct it to take that filament waste that happens when it's retracting and instruct it to build something out of the filament waste. And so instead of just going into a garbage can, it actually puts the design down on the sheet. And you end up with a little bit of something from all that leftover retraction. But in some cases, you can spend more filament on color changes than you actually do putting it on the product itself. So it's definitely a filament waste strip, but it can really look beautiful. Oh, that's fantastic. All right, well, hey, that's another good way to promote 3D printing, too, I guess, and something really cool. I said, and just tell them, look, this is from waste filament. Oh, that's really cool. That's 16 filament. Yikes. Man, that will get spendy, I bet. Anyway, well, I'm glad you're going to have some fun with that and I'm glad you got the other one sent back. All right, you take care. I'm going to go have a good week. Let's see if there's anybody else for the 9 o'clock net. I'm Jack, KI7, RMU, five minutes past top of the hour, 10.05 AM here in Seattle. Anybody else, come ahead, call, sign, and name."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-07-21T09:27:07+00:00","id":9147,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":9146,"text":" Amazing. If it never got above 80 degrees, I'd be the happiest girl in the whole entire world. Every time you give a report on a net that I'm running, all I can do is talk about how amazing it sounds on St. John's Island in Newfoundland. Ah. Anyway, thank you so much for your report. And you and the cats enjoy that beautiful, beautiful day. And I look forward to hearing from you another time. And yeah, you sound great. Perfect. A plus. 10 out of 10. Five stars. You sound great. All right. 7-3. Let's see. We had an I.O. from Antonio. We had an I.O. from Robert. And next, we have a report from Magoo in Covington. I saw K7PDZ Jim light up the node list. Jim, are you trying to get on the list? Well, of course I'll try to get on the list. Good try, you made it. Stand by there, Jim. Let's go back to Magoo out there in Covington, KK7Z, P-J. Good morning, Jack. Things are good this morning. I got an Amazon delivery early for some memory for my laptop and I'm going from 16 gig to 32 because it was starting to run a little slow. I think I might even put a new hard drive in later today. Yesterday we had a lot of fun. I had a perplexing problem. We've got a fairly small living room but my wife bought this huge sectional a couple years back. It was a down filled couch, very comfortable, but it took up the entire living room space. So we decided to cut out about half of it and of course it was the half that was furthest away so we had to go through the other half in order to get it out of here. I decided to cut it up with a reciprocating saw and sawed that sucker up into 8 pieces and it was a piece of cake. So that was a happy accomplishment. We put everything in the trailer downstairs and then I'm going to bring it to the dump probably later today or tomorrow. That was pretty cool. Let me pause. And then it's finally happened. The saga of the 3D printing. We got our new printer on Friday after trying another new one and sending it back. It's operating flawlessly. We've got a lot of accessories for it already and we're 3D printing accessories for it so we're going to really be in good shape. It's going to take me about a couple hundred hours to get all the backlog of stuff that we want to print. Just simple stuff like a winder to wind the filament from one spool to another all 3D printed with gears and it's really cool. So anyway I'm flying high as the 3D printing hobby right now. Back to you Jack. It's Magoo Kilo Kilo 7 Zulu Papa Juliet. Wow you are having too much fun with that printer and I know you said at the end of the day you can load with I think some accessory parts or accessories probably. You can load up to 16 filament. Is that right? I think you said 16 filament. I get three more units right now. I just have one unit of four but this printer does support three additional spool holders so that you can merge them all together. But I've learned that doing 3D printing with multiple colors also burns through a lot of filament because at every filament change it has to purge out the old color to make sure it's not in there anymore. Usually you lose about an inch and a half or so of filament and you're doing that in every layer or sometimes three or four times during a layer and you can lose just as much filament as you do putting it on the actual build. So that's an interesting tidbit. Single color you don't lose much filament at all. Alright well I'd like to see that bamboo printer of yours in action. Maybe get you a short video and post that up on the Facebook discussion group page. And something that is you know I guess well I guess interesting to the group maybe a ham piece of some sort you might have found on GitHub or Thingiverse. Alright well anyway have a good week. Great to hear you're starting us off today on the Monday morning net. Thank you, McGoo. Let's go talk to KJ7WQI. Matt, how are you sir?"},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-10T22:09:33+00:00","id":16030,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":16029,"text":" I'm going to start on the check in. This is the show off of the tango whiskey golf county in Wichita Falls, Texas. Anybody who's on the net tonight, it's good to be here again. Sometimes my board gets in the wind, and I'm not able to get on. All right, it's a busy day today. We're 13 minutes away from our 100, 700 micro ride here in Wichita Falls. And so we're doing a little bit of the Angioregionally and the Palm Church, the waste blanket, and all the folks who are coming up to the rest stops and the recent fire vehicles and water trailers and things like that. Getting our supplies ready for our meeting in the 2030s from now, but trying to get all that stuff squared away. And other than that, doing a little bit of research, trying to get some interest in all this fire and maybe get a couple more people checked into y'all's nets every in the evening. So we're kind of working on a cloud hub or a node and doing some research on that and exactly what would it take and where to go and what servers are the better ones and all the way from whichever ones will get us the best throughput to be able to get more people attached in. So that's all that we've got going on here in North Central Texas. And here is Tony. Turn up by 5, 10, and he's off. Thank you. Hey, good stuff there, Tony. Well, tell us after the event how that piece had hotter than hell a bike ride there. It sounds like you're doing a lot of coordination there for the hand radio and the water stations and all that good stuff. So once again, another two examples back to the back of using hand radio in the community for events. We love that around here for sure. So we have some other hubs that connect in. We regularly get the dew drop in and some others there that join us and we get stations checking in from all over the world. We love it there. So let us know how it goes. If I give some constructive feedback, Tony, you're a little bit hot on your mic. It almost sounds like you're just too close. I'd say just back off maybe a couple inches. Not sure what kind of mic or radio you were talking into through the All Star. It was a little bit hot, a little bit overdriven there. Other than that, it sounded good. So thanks for that, Tony. Let us know how it goes. We'll get you down the log. All right, again, I'm Brian, KE7KZH, 859 O'ClockNet. We have three more ins on this round. So up next, Ron, how are you doing tonight? HE7EXM, please give us a report. Well, this is Kate, HE7EXM here. My report goes as follows. I had a nice day today. Although it could have been better had I had a one bus away info that I really wanted. But it wasn't top, so I couldn't tell which bus was supposed to go anywhere close. So I wasn't able to show up to the ringer time, but there are other times. And so I know there was a time when I was supposed to show up at the next one. But I hope everybody had fun over there at the park because that's a good park to go to. Otherwise, I'm doing okay. And I've been wondering why I was feeling kind of, you know, slinky. And it's because it's hot. I didn't count on it to be this warm today. I was thinking like 60s, 70s. I didn't count on it being 80s, but okay. But I'm feeling okay. I didn't count on it being 80s, but okay. Other than that, I had a nice long talk with KJ 7R Dale earlier. Hold on a second. And I was via text, so we were texting back and forth. So I'm pretty sure that anybody that was near KJ 7R Dale heard a little conversation that was going on. But basically I was teasing him. He was teasing me when he started it. I finished it. But of course he had to come back. And so I told him I can't turn the sun off. It doesn't work that way. My arm's not that long. It's about a million miles away. It's kind of hard for me to stretch my arm out that far. But we had a good chat. So that was good. And then I mentioned something about cup cups. So yeah, that conversation was good. But then I also asked him how was his little trip going up the stairs. He said he was fine. Although a little mishap, but otherwise it's fine I guess. But we had a good time chatting via text. And so I know everybody had fun today. And I'm glad they did because that's the way to go. Especially for being almost the end of summer. So who knows. I'm going to go have a good time listening to the rest of you. Because that's the thing to do. And now that I'm going to get us back on. This is KJ7EXM. Turn you back to net control. Like yours. Well, I'm glad you had a great day there, Sean. Even if you didn't make the Rainers shine ice cream net today. I just hope you had a good time. And I'll see you next time. Sean, have you not learned how to turn the sun off yet? Come on. Good luck. You have a great day there, Sean. We'll catch you down the log here real soon. All right. Down to Zephyrhil, Florida we go. Tonight Elaine. And three oink, oink. Otherwise known as oink entry OMO. I'll say it correctly there. How are you tonight, Elaine? This is repeater station Kielo. Thank you, Brian. This is Elaine. And three OMO. I'm doing very well tonight. Thank you. It's been a great day. It's been warm. We felt like 102 degrees. Which is nothing unusual for what it is this time. Had some good things going on. We had some good things going on. We had some good things going on. Had some good things coming up this week. Had to make a phone call tomorrow. I decided to get a generator for the house. Something like a Generex generator. But I have to call a cocaine company. And see how we go about hooking up another extra tank. And if they deal with anybody here like Generex or someone else. For a generator. Because I decided with Rob, my brother, we don't need to be without power or air conditioning or lights. Especially me with my heart problems and COPD. And the animals. They've got to stay cool. So I think this will be a good investment. So I've got to do some digging on that tomorrow. And some other things. Let me see what else. Not very much is happening. It's been a good day. Good week. I decided to get a little more productive. And start writing or doing my pedaling machine twice a day. To make a 30 minutes a day now. And I've got a weekly plan of books that I want to make. And I've got a weekly book that I want to make. And I've got a weekly book that I want to make. And I've got a weekly book that I want to make. And I've got a weekly plan of books that I want to make. And I've got a weekly plan of books that I want to make. And I've got a weekly plan of books that I want to make. And I'm also going to be starting a 52 week travel study for women on my own. So I think that will be a good thing to do. There's certain meetings every day. So that will be good. And I kind of like the idea that it takes Sunday off. So you can catch up with your reading if you've missed any. Or just be with family. Which is the most important. So I'm looking forward to this week to seeing how I can change some of my own behaviors. And make it a little more productive. I still want to watch my game show and things like that too. But I've been sitting too much and not getting as much done as I need to get done. Let me take a break. In 3LMO returning. I also have to start going through all the papers in the house and my desk. And blocking out all of the information I don't want people to know before I shred it. And put it in the garbage. I've got to start doing things like that every week. To try and clear some of this stuff out and get more organized. So when my time comes, and I think it's going to be anytime soon. But when my time does come, my brothers won't have to go through all that and decide what's this and what's that. I can get rid of all the stuff I don't need anymore and make it a lot easier for everyone. So that's my plan for this week. All the animals are doing fine. My brother starts driving school bus tomorrow for the year. And here in Florida, his first pick up is at 521. And school starts at 630. Unbelievable. But then they're out at 1 o'clock. So that works out well. But he doesn't get home until 4. Anytime he picks up all the kids and he gets back to running place and all that, back to his school. But anyway, school starts tomorrow. So everybody have a good day. Good day tomorrow. Or today actually. Because it's quarter to 1 here a.m. So it's a Monday here already. So thanks for taking my call, Brian. 73, 88 to all. I love you all. November 3, ask and like Oscar. Wow, school starts so early there. That is crazy here in the Pacific Northwest. Or at least in Washington state, the Puget Sound area. We usually want to start until the beginning of September. So start so early. But good for Rob for driving the bus there. Keep all the kids safe there for sure. And yeah, I did get a generator installed right when I moved into this house a few months ago. It was one of the first things I did. And yeah, I did. We had to talk to the gas company, natural gas, to see what the line could support. I could not get a whole home generator without them. And I'm not going to get a whole home generator. Without them ripping up all the gas lines. And it would have cost many thousands of dollars. And they would have to remove my beautiful woodedendron bushes and all that good stuff. So I opted for a little bit smaller generator that covers all the essentials there. So I figured, eh, it's good enough in that emergency. So definitely good luck with that. And waves over to Rob and his first day driving the kids tomorrow. We'll catch you down the log there, Elaine. You have a good night. Alright, and then last on this round, we're going to go and see how Javier is doing over in Bremerton. Kilo Mike 7, Alpha, Quebec, November. How are you tonight? Please give us your report. Good evening guys, this is Javier, Kilo Mike 7, Alpha, Quebec, November. Just to let you know, I'm a movie here. I did my second time here and then I went to the 9 o'clock AM net. I just did my first IO. I'm just here to learn from you guys and just be people. Naturally from the island of Puerto Rico. And I moved to the States in 2010. Due to the nature of my job, I'm an aircraft mechanic. I've been around all the country. But then in 2019, I decided to move to the beautiful Pacific coast. In Seattle, I live at Howard. Right now I'm at Port Orchard. Working actually working on an aircraft for the rest of the week here. But yeah, I'm just here to meet all this great group of friends and camaraderie around here. And hope to learn more. I apologize for the first try that I did, the first transmission. I was trying to test my HD. Looks like the battery was a little bit low. That's why I had to go through the EcoLink. But it's just baby steps in learning. Guys, 73.12, you guys and 88. Have a good night guys. Hey, well good stuff to have you here. I just welcome welcome. Sounds like you did an I.O. this morning. But what you stumbled upon and it gets you figured out. We are here at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. seven days a week. We also have a new net that happens every day. And so yeah, there are other nets that happen around here. So we're really glad you stumbled upon the Puget Sound Repeater Group. And again, more information about our group. We have a website there called psrg.org. We also have a Facebook page which has a lot of activity that's going on. So if you head over to Facebook and you do a search. If you have Facebook. And you do a search for the Puget Sound Repeater Group discussion group. It is a closed group but if you request membership. It's pretty easy to get in there. You answer a couple of quick questions there. We do have over a thousand members in there. And so there's a lot of good topics. We do a lot of in-person events. There's even one today over at Green Lake Park. So this is a very friendly group of people. We have, how do you say, we have new hams, old hams, seasoned hams, black forest hams. We've got it all. So yeah, if you're looking for those elmers. You definitely are in the right place. So yeah, when you check in the first time you were just barely hitting the repeater. So I'm not sure what equipment you have. But hopefully you can get that battery charged. And if you have an antenna you can hook up. We do have a lot of people over on the peninsula. You know, Paulsboro, Bremerton. Even, what is that, oh, Kingston, like over there. We have a lot of people over on that side of the ladder as well. So definitely welcome, welcome. I hope to catch you down the log here, Javier. And good luck working on that plane this week. All right. Oh yeah, so sorry. One thing that we ask, it's kind of an FCC format. Actually, let me reset. Sorry, you're taking a really long time there. One thing that we ask, and it keeps the FCC happy. And it notifies to me that you're done with your transmission. Is that you close with your call sign. So let me just send it back to you. Let me know what kind of radio that you are using. And how you're trying to make it into the net with RF. And then just close with your call sign. Back to you, Javier, real quick. Yes, sir. So I was just trying with my FP5, my GASU FP5. I was just trying with that. Like I said, I just got it a few days ago. I'm in programming channels, setting up tones, offsets and everything. Even though the GASU does a lot of the work for you. But actually, yeah, I'm just looking forward. And people are looking forward to it. I'm just looking forward. And keep learning and keep learning. And I appreciate for that. And back to you, the control. This is Kilo Mike 7, Alpha Quebec November. Have a good night. Yeah, you stood to be in. Total BN. All right. Very good. Thank you for that report. I hope to catch you down the log there. All right. I am Brian KE7KZH, the 69 o'clock net. And I am the PSRG repeater in Seattle, Washington. There's a long list here. So if you're waiting to check in, just hold off a few more minutes. I'm going to read a few announcements. Let me reset. So I do pull these announcements over from that Facebook PSRG discussion group that I mentioned just a little bit ago. Jack KI7RMU keeps a pinned topic. So if you click under, if you're in the group and you click on the featured, it will be right at the top there. So if you miss anything I'm about to say, just head on over there for more details. The first thing here, every Saturday, we have a couple of recurring events. The first one is the Radio Club of Tacoma has their open house. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. club members and their guests and visitors are all welcome. The other thing that happens Saturday evening is the Simplex net. This is in the Puget Sound area here. So at 8 p.m. every Saturday on 146.56 we do a Simplex net. It's really cool to be able to see who you can talk to with VHF without a repeater in between you. The magic of radio propagation. It's very eye-opening sometimes who you can hear and talk to can hear you without that repeater. So if you haven't joined, it's a lot of fun. Check that out Saturday night 8 p.m. 146.56. We do have a swap meet coming up here. The PSARA antique radio and vintage electronics swap meet will be held up at Shoreline Community College on Sunday, August 17th, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shortly after that we do have the Wooded Boat Festival coming to Port Townsend. That will be the weekend of September 5th through 7th. We also, let's see, coming up into October. Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's getting close to October already. We do have the Tour de Forest ARA Rally. We have a lot of folks in this group that participate in the rallies. They even participate in the radio communications of the event. Or just spectating and stuff. Always a good time there. Saturday, October 4th will be that Tour de Forest ARA Rally. Let me reset. Alright, we do have, let's see, the Cascadia Radio Group will be hosting a ham connect program. This is going to be on Sunday, October 5th at 3 p.m. It is a virtual event. If you have any questions or would like more information, you can email info at SeattleEmergencyHubs.org. You can also head right over to HamConnect.org for more information. And with that, I'm just going to go ahead and say again, if you missed anything, please head over to the PSRG discussion group over on Facebook. If you missed any of those websites or dates, that will have all the information. So let's turn it back to check-ins here. I am Brian, KE7, KZH. This is Nine O'clock Net. Let's see who else is out there. All stations, please come now. Call sign and first name. Madeline, KJ7, NUW. KJ7, NUW, Madeline. And then I did hear Mike, VU, right after that. Alright, more stations, please. KE9IQX, Amy. Alright, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. KE9IQX, Amy. KE9IQX, you're number three on this round. More stations, come ahead. KJ7, KJ7. Alright, Lagoon, sorry. Can you give me your call sign? I should have it memorized one more time. KELO, KELO7, FULU, Papa Juliet. There it is. I got the Papa Juliet. I was blanking on the beginning there. KK7ZPJ, I got you. And I also did hear KG7ODB. I'm writing it down. Dean, you're on the list. There you go. Google it. WQ7H. You're the best. You're doing a great job. Really. Excellent. Excellent job. Thank you for filling in. WQ7H. I never heard that one before James. But I figured it out real quick. The other thing that you said, that you were talking about what was happening to your daughter's car. And you got to the serpentine belt part. And at the same time you were saying that as soon as you said serpentine belt. I said woo. At the same time you did. But I was thinking about it as fast and expensive repair. Woo. Anyway. Hey James, I'm just rusty at this man. I was at Tuesday night and had hoes for about four years. I'm just real rusty at my typing skills of going south here. But I know most everybody. Alright, let's go find Madu who I don't know. I've never met Madu. But I have now for the first time on air. I heard you a lot on here. KK7. Zulu puppet Julie F. Good morning sir from Cushkin I think you said. Good morning nice to meet you. Yes my name is Madu. The big name I go by that on the radio and a lot of other places. My real name is Michael McGuire. And you can see where Madu might have been derived from McGuire. I've got one thing on my mind right now. We got bitten by a 3D printing bug two weeks ago. And after a couple days we decided to get a bigger machine and we got the anti-cubic Cobra S1 and I had it for a day and it jammed and I took it back. Then we decided to get the Cadillac which is the bamboo PS1 and it arrived last Friday. We've been printed non-stop. I've printed a spooler rewinder that's got all sorts of gears and bearings in it that allows you to transfer your filament from one spool to another. And I've got a filament connector guide that right now we're working on. Let me pause for a second. We're working on a riser that goes from the printer up to the AMS unit which stores all the filament. And it's got some drawers and it allows you to take the top glass door off without lifting up the AMS. So it's a cool little riser that's going to take over two spools of filament. And I'm testing a new feature today that if you've got two spools of existing filament it's supposed to run the one out and jump over to the reserve one and continue printing. So I'm looking forward to watching that happen. We're having so much fun with the whole 3D land. There's lots of stuff to do. Fidgets and gadgets and we're just loving it. Anyway, that's occupying all my time. I haven't spent much time at the radio this last two weeks. This has been Magoo, Kilo Kilo 7, Zulu Papa Juliet heading back to net. Well thanks there Magoo. Okay, I've got a note here on my computer that you're the 3D Para Guy. I heard you talking about it yesterday. The capability of that machine to put 16 different colors on it. Or 16 different strands or spools or whatever you call them. I didn't know there were that many colors. Anyway, good luck with that. That sounds awesome. So I watched those. My grand-son has a little smaller one that he got. He's made some trinkets for us. That's always fun. He's like 12 years old. I know the people that are into it with the bigger machine and where money is not quite the object, there's no object. He can do some pretty cool stuff. So stick with it and thanks and keep reporting on that. Alright, let's go to the land of the future. Down Under. Tomorrow. Australia, the K7, Julia Tango. My spreadsheet says your name is Casey. Is that correct? Good morning or good afternoon I mean. And it's all yours."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-22T09:54:38+00:00","id":21641,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":21640,"text":" Good morning. I've got probably three four hundred dollars on it already in just a week Mainly right now. We're doing projects that are related to the machine itself a riser for the little AMS school holder And putting in lighting and different things like that, but it's just been so much fun. It's fun to watch the thing work It's fun to pull out the products when they're finished, and then I slipped in for for the ham hobby some string winders that are nice and thin with little holes to grab the The wire that I'm going to use to wrap up all my counter poison radials so that's what I've been doing and really not much else I haven't been on the HF nearly as much as normal and Anyway, that's it back to you the goo kilo kilo seven Zulu Papa Juliet you"},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-22T09:53:14+00:00","id":21640,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":21639,"text":" Since somebody already outed me anyway, I'm gonna joke around and say, uh, your high is my low. It's got everything kind of in a neat, much, much neater presence than it was before. So that consumed me all day. Aside from that, we're still going crazy with our 3D printer. I'm working now on a project that I think is a way that I can monetize some of the printer costs by selling rugged plastic boxes in variable sizes using a technology called, something called gridfinity. It's just a series of squares that allow you to size the different boxes, and then you can print bins that line up and fit into the little squares of the gridfinity. It's a wonderful system, and I know just for the 3D printer alone, we have to order all these little groups of hardware, M3 screws, M2 screws, and M4, M5, and I need a place to store them other than the place that came with it, and this is the way to do it. So it's super exciting. I've got it in the Facebook marketplace, and we'll see if it turns up any business, but I think custom rugged boxes using gridfinity is the way to do it. That's all I've got today. I'm going to shoot it back to you. We're 3D printing like crazy. My daughter just made a bong to give to a friend of hers, which I found that to be funny to be able to do that with a 3D printer. And then I made something that's kind of cool. It's a magnet pen. And you buy these magnets because a lot of the little 3D gadgets that we print use magnets to close lids and things like that. And the magnet pen too, one for each polarity of the magnet, and allows you to put these little teeny, weeny little magnets right precisely into whatever you're working on. And you just rotate it a little bit and their magnets kind of come out like a pest dispenser. Very, very cool. And I'm working on it, printing a couple of those for different size magnets that we use. So I'm excited kind of about that whole project. And then ongoing is a project that I've got to just declutter everything in the living room, dining room combination where we've got the 3D printer and the freeze dryer for our candy business. And that's been going really well. Little by little just piles of clutter have been removed and a lot of stuff thrown away. And things are just looking a whole lot better here. And that's about all I've got I think. Let's see. Yeah, that's it. So with that I'm going to send it back to you Rebecca. We've been making these infinity rugged boxes that are really cool. They stack onto each other and then they also bolt on. And then they have infinity pins on the inside which are all custom and you can do a bunch of different layers and things with those. This is Magoo, Kilo Kilo 7 Zulu Papa Juliet. Um, work-wise, I had an interesting week. I was, uh, hired to put a shed together from Home Depot, and right from the start, the shed just looked like it was engineered terribly, and, uh, just screws to hold in these little pieces, and it just didn't look solid and well-built. And sure enough, when it came time to put in the roof on, it just did not line up right, and, uh, so I had to, uh, call Home Depot and inform them that I was returning said shed, uh, and could definitely not get it back in the box that it came in, so I just returned it in six large pieces, and, uh, was happy that I got my money back, but I took a loss on the time that I spent building it for the customer. So that was a, that was a pain, but at least I made it right with the customer. And then I'm working on, uh, dismantling a deck, just, uh, not a rebuild, but just taking it all down, and, uh, I got everything pulled down on Saturday, but I have, uh, four fence posts, well, four by four posts that, uh, I need to remove, and I was gonna do that tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain, so it might get postponed.
