Okay, you got me when I was drinking some water and you said that and I started laughing. Yeah, Rocky came to the door and I was actually eating and looked over and he was standing on his hind legs looking in at me and so I put my meal down and went and got some peanuts and nuts for him and put it out for him and he was happy with that. He approved of what I sent there. He did a good quality check on the food. And yeah, earlier today brother put other nuts and peanuts out for those other squirrels. But yeah, the net that I just came off of in the poppus system, they were talking about pets. And actually these squirrels are kinda like pets to me now and wanting no cat boxes, you know. But they're entertaining and they do enhance and add something to my life and I'm glad they're coming around, you know. And I probably would get a, I actually thought about getting a cat but I don't think the two of them would mix very well. Anyway, of course I wouldn't let the cat out. It'd be an indoor cat. But you know, like I said, they're like pets without a cat box. So yeah, meanwhile here today it was about 72 degrees outside and sunny and I'm just, I have a, I have a program called Weather Station that I run on a tablet and it does, I cannot figure out how it handles the tracking of the different barometric pressures. It just doesn't seem to make sense the way it does it. It's still been a mystery to me and the trending and that so I don't know. One of those mysteries of life I guess. And but I have that up there and it shows the upcoming weather coming in next week or so and you know, the usual temperatures and time and you know, and barometric pressure and wind speed. And, cause it gets it from another weather station somewhere nearby. It's nice to have. And I have another weather station I use and it just basically tracks the temperature outside on my patio and does barometric pressure and time and date and everything. So it's actually, between the two of them I get a pretty good grip on what's going on out there weather wise. And I'm just trying to think what else we're onto today. And I watched some baseball and that didn't go well. So, so much for that. And so just generally pretty good days, can't complain. So I'll turn it back to Annette. Back to you Bill, thank you for doing it. And Rich has gotta get back here and get on the ball and give you some relief there. I don't know man, he'd rather go on a vacation or travel than help you out. You know, you gotta talk to him about that. AB6MB. AB6MB K7WFP, yeah I've talked to him. He just likes traveling. But I think Bella the cat may bring him home, we'll see. It is hard, you know, I'm not as good as Rich as in catching call signs and stuff. So he really supports me. Jack's helping me tonight. But I do wish Rich had come back and make it like old times. But he deserves a vacation, even if he had three since my last vacation. Well thank you Jeff, good to hear Rocky is doing well. That you have a standing date with Rocky. And he's doing well. And yeah, interesting weather station stuff. We're talking about mysteries. Lately I've been using AI a lot on some mysteries. I really didn't for like a year. I haven't really understood mesh-tastic channels and how the frequencies work and the private channels up. And I just never took the time to look it up. The other day I sat down with Gemini for about 15 minutes and explained everything. I mean it's really good for stuff like that. All right, let's move ahead now and talk to, where are we on the list? We're gonna talk to KL7DZQ, Kurt, come ahead Kurt. Well good evening Bill and good evening Danette. This is Kurt, KL7DZQ in Northeast Bellevue. Haven't had much of a chance to get on the 9 p.m. net lately and glad to be back. I've had a very quiet evening and it's nice to get on. Anyway, I've been working a lot with recycled materials and actually restoring my wife's childhood acoustic guitar. This is something that she got when she was nine years old and that was over 50 years ago. It's been sitting at our house for quite a while. It had some writing on it and had some stickers on it and I was able to remove that and remove the finish. And so now I'm down to the point where I'm going to be oiling it. Either boiled linseed oil or some other, tongue oil or something like that to bring out the natural colors in the wood. Looking forward to it, will it play? Who knows? Anyway, it's been sitting forever without any strings on it and so the neck may be no good. But anyway, it's fun to do and it's a learning process on how to actually work on these things and so this is a good candidate to do that. And now that I'm doing this, I built her a guitar from a kid for her birthday this year and now I'm hooked and I really want to start using recycled and discarded materials to create guitars and it sounds like fun. And really the only part of that that I don't really like doing is working with necks and electronics. But I like making the body. So anyway, that's my report for this evening. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Take care. This is Kurt, KL7DZQ, back to Ned. Kurt, KL7DZQ, K7WFD. That sounds like a lot of fun, yeah. I mean, it sounds like a whole new hobby area for you. I like the idea that you're refinishing this one. Refinishing is so gratifying because you can make such a much better appearance but doing something for like a piece of furniture or a table or something is just such a big job. But something small that you can really admire is like a guitar just sounds great. You don't have to put it out in the garage, you don't have to turn oil, you don't have to smell up the house, it sounds great. And yeah, I like the idea of the recycled materials. That's a great idea. Very good. Thank you so much for sharing that, Kurt. Let's move ahead and talk to Joan, KX2CW. Joan, how are you this evening? Hello there, Bill. Here is Joan, KX2CW, being careful not to overmodulate like I did earlier. When did I overmodulate? It was in my log. Yeah, it was at noon. I tried to adjust my modulation level to match Rebecca's but I overshot and I was overmodulated. Speaking of the relative humidity and the barometric pressure and the temperature, is I have them on my weathercaster on my iPad Mini 6. Which is really an excellent weather gasser, the weather app. And it's very thorough. Of course it says it's 18 degrees Celsius outside at the moment but it's cooling down. It's nice because all I have to do to cool off my apartment is to open the window. It's nice. I have three windows that crack open and that gives me some flow through. The only downside is when there's a lot of heat and the only downside is when the slackers are smoking. There's cigarettes down in the courtyard. It often wafts up into my windows. But what can I do? But I'm also looking at the barometric pressure and relative humidity and temperature. Although the indoor temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius on my tri-quarter it has atmospheric sensors in it. And it does some real sensor stuff. I can detect electromagnetic, well typically the quality of the line, the mains electric utility. Which is usually the strongest electric field in a house. And in fact it shows how poor the quality of the sign waves. It's a very sloppy looking sign wave. And I've tested these my tri-quarter in other locations. And it's really showing a different wave form. A much cleaner wave form and less intense. But it also can sample audio. And much like FL Digi it can do fast for your transform on it and I can look at the audio spectrum and my voice fluctuating and stuff. In fact I can do that right now. Get out of the weather and go to audio. And there it is. I see my voice and a fast for your transform of my voice. But I can also switch it to mode to oscilloscope. And now I'm looking at an oscilloscope. But I can also change the mode to mixed. And I can see both the oscilloscope trace and the fast for your transform fluctuating. Anyway, but what I'll do today. Ah yes, I went to the recovery cafe to the women's circle. Which I was a facilitator of today. Because the regular facilitator was off doing something else. Also I have a friend, a professional singer, a vocalist. Who asked me about doing a recording of her. And so it makes me want to inventory my stuff. And I've got everything. I've got more than I need. After having inventoried I have all four of my dual diaphragm, dual element large diaphragm condenser canister mics. I have three of my super cardioid condenser compact condenser microphones. Plus the dynamic microphones. I've got five professional grade XLR dynamic microphones. But I also have my Tascam recorder. Which is capable of encoding mid-side. So if I record her just singing, you know like art songs or cabaret songs. She's an opera singer. Accompanied with a piano. I can do my cross figure eights. My convoluted version of it. Which is doing mid-sides and cross figure eight mid-sides. Which would work really well. In fact I'm talking into the microphone I would use. And the other microphone isn't doing anything. But I'm talking, oh my gosh look all on. KXCCW all the numbers back to net. That was the quickest close I've heard. Thank you for telling us all about your microphones. That you do have a great collection. And that does sound like a wonderfully fun project to record a really good singer. Do cabaret, I love cabaret. I like opera too. But you don't hear enough cabaret stuff. That stuff is so wonderful. Let's see where are we? Oh we're moving ahead now. And we're gonna talk to Joel KK7ZBX. Come ahead Joel. Hello, I had a nice evening in Kirkland. So my wife and I went to, I brought my radios. Went to Big Fin Hill Park. And so I could do this Simplex net there. I love this Simplex net. And really thanks to Dan and Jeff and Nelson and all the operators, the hosts for that. It seems to be complex to do all that, draw all that stuff down. And they even publish it for us. So it's really cool. And the idea I get from that is, you know, what's the intent of doing? You know, what can I do better? And so if you're just starting out like I am, there's nothing like it to really learn more about VHF. You know, multi-path. So I was up and I got some elevation off of that. My normal elevation's a lot lower than that park up there, up north of Juanita. And it was also good practice to have to run my mobile, which puts out, what can put out 55 watts, running on a battery. So I am glad I got some experience with that too, where I can kind of do like a fuel-date type test. And my wife was there and she read a book and I play with my radio. I will get her to get her to get eventually though. Get her on the radio one of these days. And she kind of, it was fun for her to watch. But I think I got her interested maybe. Who else? Anyway, KK7, ZBX. KK7, ZBX, Joel, thank you. That was a very interesting report. And just, I mean, heading out on a nice summer evening with your wife and just setting up and doing simplex."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-03T10:56:03+00:00","id":13806,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":13805,"text":" busy working on that thing night and day I guess. So I don't know when it's ever gonna be done, but by the time they get it done, they'll probably have to do something with the southbound lane. Ha ha ha ha. Well Jack, thanks for doing that, and thanks for all the wonderful comments. I remember going to the Renaissance Fair when it was just a handful of people in the woods. Ha ha ha. Up around Ithaca I think somewhere. Yeah, it's come a long ways, and I would have liked to have taken that in if I knew about it. So that's it for me, and have a great Sunday everybody, and 7 GWG. All right Steve, you take care of that foot. Yeah, I'm glad you got to the Urgent Care facility right away, good job. All right, well if I could get you through that, of course, now you've got your medications. And say hi to Donna and the dozer of course. All right, let's go talk to Michael, he's got a comment, WA780. Well Jack, good morning to you, and everybody that's on the net. This is Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta, Michael from my home KTH. This is my regular check in, Jack, not a comment. So anyway, it's a great day, I don't know how the Blue Angels are gonna do it, they have to do the low thing I think, unless it burns off. And let's see, oh the big event for me, I gotta drive up to East Nomes County. We're gonna get together with our Bigfoot team, and I guess go over stuff, I don't know. I've got my list of things I pack, already made up, I do it every year. When I come home I revise it before I go through it again. Anyway, that's all that's going on here, thanks for on the great net. I don't know if you get two check ins, one mobile and one home KTH, maybe you get two marks on your little sheet there Jack. Anyway, everybody have a safety out there, Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta. All right, well normally you would start your day here on the nets as a regular check in with a report, but today you started with a comment. So yes, this is the second entry I have for you there Michael. Hey, but real quick if you're gonna be out that way, Snomish for the Bigfoot 200 race planning session today, any chance you can go by Craven Farm and check that event out? Well, I'm more worried about getting lost in the hicks of East Nomes County trying to find David Ball's house than the Craven Farm, so it's a good almost 45 minute, 50 minute drive out to where I'm going, I'll have to get the map out. Do it. Donor Craven Farm is not too excited about the big trucks and stuff, so that's up, I do have a eight foot, bad F-150, that's all I'll be driving to Bigfoot, so. Hey Jack, that's it, thanks for asking, back to you sir, Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta. Yeah, I was gonna mention that big truck that you have if you weren't going to, well you know, and hey, can't wait, Robert will be in the parking lot, so all you gotta do is just go to the parking lot and see if apparently I don't think they're charging any admission though, because it's a first time event. You know, I think you probably just get in for free. Anyway, all right, you take care, Michael, have a good time, and let us know how the Bigfoot session goes today. KI7Z, you're on the right track, KI7Z, yeah we're here with Dr. Tim in just a moment, it's 10, 12 a.m., I'm Jack, KI7RMU for the Sunday PSRG, nine o'clock, Ned, Tim, take it away, KI7ZEI. Well it's another beautiful day here in the great Northwest, yeah, starting out a little cloudy, maybe even a little cool, but it's kinda nice having a day like that once in a while and with the mix of the warmer days we've been having. So I think today will be kind of a carbon copy of yesterday's, so I'm supposed to come out. I'm getting ready for a trip this time tomorrow, I'll be half on my way to Alexandria, Virginia, gonna visit some friends there for a couple of days, got some work to do up in the Boston area, so I'm running a car, gonna take a trip for about a week, doing some driving, and back on the 14th. Got some things to do to get ready. I remember three, four years ago they had some kind of big get together down at, I thought it was like Seattle King County Emergency Communication Center. Jack, you might even remember this, or someone will, because there was a lot of hams there. Anyway, it was an emergency services kind of introduction and meeting, and looked like a pretty well-secured facility down there, chain link fencing all around the building down there, it was kind of in Seattle area, dried down, kind of new downtown. Can't find it in the Google though now. But they were taking some questions, and I asked if they were prepared for the zombie apocalypse, and the presenter said no. I don't think I'm prepared either, but that's one of my goals, getting prepared for it. Any kind of apocalypse, zombie or otherwise. Well, with that, wish everyone a good day, and back to you Jack, KI7ZI. All right, Temple, it looks like you will be out of town for the next Rain or Shine, and I'm gonna cover the announcements real quick, right after I stop talking here, and switch over to that. But I do wanna comment, but you will be back in time for the PSARA Antique Radio and Vintage Electronics Swap meet, and I think you went to that last year, maybe the previous year up at Shoreline Community College. Is that one of the shows you went to? I don't think I did go to that. Now that I live in Shoreline, I'm gonna start participating in more Shoreline events, finding out it's a pretty nice place here. But I will go this year, because I'm interested in that kind of stuff. Had an antique radio once, and someone gave me, but it was basically disintegrating the, tuning capacitor, the, it was, had corrosion, and the plates were falling off, and yeah, you know. So, it's been a long time since I had a working radio. Back when I was in high school, my dad took me down to St. Vincent de Paul in Seattle, and we bought this big, shortwave radio, all-band everything, everything, with big, kinda loopy antenna thing, and a little matchy guy for tuning. That was pretty cool. That was kind of my real introduction to heavy duty radio. KI-7 ZEI. Yeah, those worldwide receivers were pretty massive units, too. Well, I've got, talk about massive units, I've got a number of Collins pieces that I'm gonna be taking to that show, I hope, and I've got a great Kenwood Transceiver from back in the day, and that thing is like a tank, too. So, I've got a couple of pieces I'll be taking up there and seeing what we can do with them. All right, we'll have a safe trip to Alexandria. We'll talk to you along the way. I know you'll probably check in many times, and we hope you do there, too, and safe travels to you. All right, so real quickly, here are a couple of events. 10, 16 a.m. Next weekend, we are busy, busy, busy on the night. That's Saturday, the Radio Club at Tacoma does their open house, 10 a.m. to two, and then, of course, later that night, we have got the PS, or not the PSRG, but the Simplex net, there we go, 8 p.m., 146560 every Saturday, but in the middle of the day, 1.30 p.m. On Zoom, we have the next PSRG board meeting, 1.30 p.m. That's August 9th, Saturday, so come on by and join the fun there. Now, on Sunday, though, August 10, PSRG season seven, episode five, Rain or Shine net, it's a new net and ice cream social at Green Lake, so get on the website, psrg.org for all the details there. Come out and have an ice cream with us. That'd be a lot of fun. All right, and of course, the 17th, August 17th, Sunday, again, is the antique radio and vintage electronics swap meet the PSRA at Shoreline. Again, all the information can be found on the PSRG discussion group page and home page. All right, any questions there? Command, call and find a name. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven, November Quebec November. All right, we're still going. Let's see what's out there for the nine o'clock net. If you'd like to join us, RF internet command, call and find a name. West key seven, Oscar Hotel, Dan. All right, Dan, anybody else? KB seven RYY, Dan. Dan, you're on the list. Anyone else, please? K308. Morning Rich, I've got you, anybody else? Kilo Zulu Bravo X-ray Joel. Hi, Joel, I've got you. All right, anybody else? All right, Dan, how are you doing this morning? W70H, go ahead. Doing good, stand by one second. You caught me literally at the drive-through and they were handing me my soda. I had to grab it and put it in the container. I think there's a natural timing when I go for food. I could call the radio in. Anyway, I'm going down to the museum today. Today's the final day of the Seafair Air Show. I don't know if it'll be high. I think it'll clear though it may work. I took a bunch of pictures on Thursday of the Blue Angels and some others flying on the preliminary and it's not a lot over the museum. They moved the center of the air show a little south and east. I was on Newcastle and such, probably don't like it, but it's still great to see there. I'll go down and just stay inside, do my dosage duties. That's the plan for the day. Anyway, I think that's about it for the day. I'm gonna say have a good day. Sorry, I had to wait and try to listen to her and talk to you. Anyway, 73, and I look forward to the ice cream social especially, it's not the ice cream, it's the social. 73W708. All right, Dan, hey, you have a great day, last day of the Seafair. And yeah, get some more pictures if you can. We love putting up the pictures. All right, we'll see you at the Rainer Shine Net. That'll be a lot of fun. KB7RYY, Dan, good morning. Good morning, Jack, this is Dan, KB7RYY. I'm almost recovered from that trek up Mount Pilchuck the day before last. Oh, rocks, I don't like rocks. Anyway, I'm coming back from a hike of half of Boston Creek anyway, and I heard a few things I had talked about. First of all, the shortwave, there was some discussion about a shortwave, I forget what it was, but the shortwave bands are kind of opening up. There's people broadcasting, and funny thing, no Voice of America, no Jammers, what's this mean? Let me let it drop. The other thing was I was gonna talk about, I hosted a few boaters nets this week. Those faithless boaters, you know? Instead of doing that, they gotta go out in their boats. All right, back to you, Jack. KB7RYY. All right, Dan, and some of the boaters go out for a couple of weeks at a time, so I heard a couple of stations are definitely out. So was it kind of a lean pickings, I guess, huh? Yeah, Vic and I were alternating during the week, and then Vic took off. He's up at Port Ludlow, and now I think he can come in on Echo Link, but it's a little. It's the schedule filling up for the next week, so I get a little break. KB7RYY. All right, well, it was nice to hear Carlos this morning. That's good. All right, Dan, well, you have a great Sunday, Santa. You in, please? Let's get over to Rich, West Seattle, K30E. And yeah, the Ice Cream Social, of course, but the other event, oh, Jack. I went there one time so far, and I just may have to go again, you know? And yeah, the one time I did go, I think it was a couple of our fans. I think JD was there, and JD was there. So anyway, I don't know, maybe this time, I guess any game, I'll probably check in the beautiful morning, nice and cool. We're going to get more Roger shortly, that season, I think, really. All right, thank you very much, Rich. You have a great day. Santa had a polo for me, if you would. Let's go see what Joel's up to. Joel, take it away. Hi, Jack. Yeah, nice morning, nice cool morning in Kirkland. We'll take a run later on before this marine layer burns off, because I like it when it's cool. I'm just trying out the HTs, which I heard from good reports. Enjoyed that. One thing is, I can't remember who the operator was, but someone in Lake Washington yesterday mentioned you can listen to the Blue Angels. They have some certain frequencies that load AM as aircraft. But if you do a search for Blue Angels, see their frequencies, you'll find it on radioreference.com. And sure enough, I heard they listen to Airbus and Sol 1, and can make out what they're saying, never can make out what Alice is saying. But it has a new dimension to enjoying the Blue Angels, if you can hear them. That's it, KK7ZBX. All right, Joel. Hey, have a great Sunday. Enjoy sea fair last day. And yeah, just keep tuning in. The more you listen, the more you'll probably be able to make out when they're making transmissions at a couple of miles an hour. It's going to be fun. All right, nice to hear you, Joel. All right, we'll do the last call now at 10, 20, I want to say 12, 24, jeez. 10, 24 AM, I'm Jack KI7, I'll read the last call. Anybody else for the 9 o'clock net? T-Mobile Juliet 7, Romeo Alpha Bravo, Yay for the recheck. Check. All right, 35 minutes from Gates opening up out there at Snohomish Field of Wheels. Take it away, Kami, KJ7RAB. Thank you so much, Jack, Kami, KJ7RAB. We just arrived at the Field of Wheels. Wow, this is pretty impressive. We just won a lot from the parking lot. The guys come back, we open at 11, and Walter explains that we're doing working out at the net, and can we come and just get our parking spot. He let us in, so we're parked where we're going to. So I wanted to ensure that you can hear us clearly, and all is well. We're hearing you crystal clear here. So hoping the same is true on your end. And I'll do a live video running around so you all can see what's happening as soon as they open the gate and let us in. But we're parked here, and we're looking right at the Allied Motor Sports Jeep. So it looks to be awesome already. Thanks for letting me back, and let me know how the signal is. KJ7RAB, back to you. All right, no problem there. Thanks, Cameron. Well, I'm glad you got in. I figured you'd probably talk some sense into it. Hey, real quick, any women-owned Toyota is going to be at this event. Do you know anybody talking about it on the back line? This is repeated. I'm not sure. I haven't seen any chatter about it, and that's bad on me. I should have put some chatter about it out there. It's been a crazy couple of weeks, and I've been a little bit frazzled with work and everything going on in life in general. But one of my goals going forward is definitely to be a little bit more organized. But I'm always on the lookout for those LRT stripes and on the lookout for Toyotas in general. Oh, one of the things, a little bit off topic, but not really, that Robert says he's got going on there. FJ, people don't always wave at each other, and I'm always the one waving like crazy, and people don't always wave back. Well, we were driving down Highway 9 yesterday, and we passed an FJ going the other way. That guy rolled his window down, was waving frantically out the window, and even beeped at me, and I was like, whoa. Because my rig's all built up now, and his looked really stuck. And that kind of made my week, because I'm usually the one waving out the window frantically, and it was the other way around. So I thought that was pretty cool, and I wanted to share that with you. KJ7RAB, back to net. Well, you're a blue FJ. You have definitely earned some bragging rights there. It is really looking good, looking great down at the Communications Museum. We had such a good time looking at that when you rolled in with the new light bar and all that. Oh, fantastic. All right, you have a good time down there. Cammie Robert hosting today at noon, so 90 minutes away or so, from the Field of Wheels into the home. It's that new event out there. Runs 11 AM to 4 this afternoon. All right, thank you, Cammie. All right, anybody else? One last call for the 9 o'clock net."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-11T21:58:57+00:00","id":16276,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":16275,"text":" I thought you called me to the station before me. But, in fact, I started talking and I said, hmm, maybe not. But anyway, um, good evening, Ms. Shorter, thank you for running the vet. You know, you do it so well and professionally. You know, by proper etiquette and everything. Anyway, um, my eye surgery for this Saturday was cancelled. By not me, but somebody. So anyway, I'm getting it done on September 5th. My left eye. In October 3rd, my right eye. Hopefully, by November, I'll have good eyes. So anyway, that makes it well for me because I'm taking the extra class one more time. If I don't get it this time, I'm going to stay very instinctive and general. You know, I just can't keep doing this, you know. But anyway, I was sleeping. I woke up and I saw it was time to talk on the best diet in the world. So I went up and called the nurse and said, how do you get this mask off? So I can talk. So Ms. Jones, you have a wonderful night and a better tomorrow. This is Casey 2, SDO. That thing had control. Over. Well, Charlie, I know that you, I think you had mentioned that you wanted to have an extra so you could be a VE and be able to administer all license classes. But you still can be a VE with a general, although you can only be a volunteer examiner folks for technician class license. But that's most of the license applications. You know, that's still, I don't know what your club or your VE group is like. But you know, having, you know, be able to have extra help, you know, doing the volume of tech licensees is still useful. And of course, you get more privileges with an extra class or even my advanced class. But it's really a flex because you get most of the privileges with a general class license. You just can't get just a few corners of the HF bands. But you know, I always recommend that people get their general class license because that gives you most of the privileges with amateur radio. You know, you're not restricted to, you know, just a few tokens and pieces of HF. And you know, if people stop in general, there's, one of my brothers is a general. Clay went and flexed and got his extra class. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with general class license. That's the name of the license, the general class license. You know, I would love to see more people get their general. You know, and more people don't. Most people just have the technician class, the basic license. What's going on has got to be... Oh yeah, they do. Just one eye at a time because, you know, the success rate is good on those eye operations. But you do want to do both eyes at the same time because in case something goes wrong, you don't want to lose both of them. Steve, Mr. Charlie, I will get you to that point. And last on the list is Joel, KK7ZBX. Joe, please give us your report. Joel Willis. So I was returning from a visit to San Diego. My wife and I went down to visit our daughter. And so a happy pet note, they have a new dog and this dog is awesome. They love him. My daughter and her boyfriend love that dog so I think we know. Yeah, it was really nice. They had a little warm. Not a bad day but the Pacific down there is 70F. They can jump in there and survive with a wetsuit and it would be awesome to kind of ride the surf a little bit. And I'm not going to go without hypothermia. And flying back here, it was warmer when we landed here on Sunday. It was good to be back. So I wanted to test the HD, make sure it's towards. And nobody else is out on. And thanks, Joan. Back to net control, KK7ZBX. Fine business, Joel. Yeah, San Diego. Visit your daughter and her bow and their dog. Wetsuit surfing. You know, I know from my reading that San Diego is, surfing is immensely popular there. And if you are wetsuit surfing, believe it or not, and I witnessed it when I lived in the Amber Peninsula, but people will surf on Lake Superior. In Marquette, Michigan, there were a number of dedicated wetsuit surfers. In fact, I've even heard of people surfing in a surprise suit. That's how cold Lake Superior is. So, anyway, thank you for that excellent report, Joel. And I will catch you on the walk. Operator 15, report number 12. Alright, so, let's see, I'm going to start a third round. This is Joel KX2CW in Seattle, Washington, on Broadway Avenue. In Capitol Hill, which is the most urban neighborhood in Seattle there is. And perched in the, looking out of my window from what I have sometimes called the Capitol Hill Behavioral Observatory. Uh oh, sirens. Sirens, where are they going? So, I'm going to take some more check-ins, if I can hear them. The sirens, are they going to come by? I'm going to try to listen through them. Okay, all stations, please. Kilo Bravo 7 Sierra Delta Mike Ryan, in and out. Alright, Kilo Bravo 7 Sierra Delta Mike Ryan, I-O, I've got your I-O, thank you. Let me know that you're out there. Um, more stations, please. That's Derek of Monroe. Alright, Derek of Monroe, I'm right down in. And all I heard was a 7 and there's a doubling station. But, uh, I'm, I'm scribbling. And, uh, who was the station that was doubling with Derek? Alpha Gold 7 Lima Romeo Cody with an I-O. Hey there, Cody, I've got your I-O, your station 18 in the log. Thank you for stopping by. More stations, please. K-E 7 KZH Bryan. Bryan, sorry that you didn't come to the Rain or Shine Ice Cream Social in Green Lake, but I'm just glad you're out there. Folks, Bryan, as many know, is our Sunday night set control operator. Alright, um, more stations, please. KF 5 WYB, her, now with the exits. Suburb! Alright, DX for statement. Oh, Galveston, I'm always hearing Glenn Campbell singing that whenever I hear you say it. Alright, um, more stations, please. Kilo 7 Charlie here at Gulf, Bryan with an R, I-O. Alright, uh, different Ryan with an R. KK 7 CSG, alright. Um, I've got your I-O, Ryan. And you're, I didn't look at the border scope as you were giving your report, but, uh, you were noisy. And it was, uh, your, your voice was about commensurate with the noise, but it was, uh, reliable copy. Take care, Ryan. And, uh, we, uh, we got on the air the next day. That's why you always do testing. Anyway, yeah, good one there, Del. Glad you came up with that exact and, and, uh, and all that stuff.
