Going pretty good. It's overcast out here. Nice, cool, I guess you'd call it afternoon, evening, whatever. Rabbit Report, they're still all doing their thing. I'm still doing my thing, so that's the thing for the day. Oh, haven't made up my mind what I'm gonna do this week. I got a couple projects I've been procrastinating on, and you all know I'm the king of the procrastinators. Sooner or later I get it done. When? I've been working on my gate again. I got one of those electronic gates that I use when I take off, I can shut everything down and know everything's secure, why I'm gone, if I'm going on vacation and stuff. But the ants got into it, and I think they shorted out the board in there. So I'm in the process of pulling everything out, cleaning everything off, and see if I can get it up and running. If not, eh, it's just a cheap $100 bill, but we shall see. I hope to fix it better than buying something new again because the thing's been working so well. Yeah, that's about it. Sorry about that. Yeah, I had one gentleman call on the Eddie and stuff and trying to knock me down some more money on it. They go, no, I'm gonna sell it. It's a good deal for 1,500 bucks for somebody for a little beep-bop around vehicle for four-bike-worn or whatever. It's been reliable forever. It's only got $187,000 on it, and it's still not even broke in yet. But anyhow, I just don't need two rigs. I got my main car and two motorcycles, so I think I got enough vehicles. Everybody have a good day or tomorrow. Be safe out there, folks. Talk to you soon again. W7, DNG. And yes, I agree. I love coasties. I wanted to be a coastie, but it was a year waiting list to get in. So that's why I joined the Navy instead. And yes, I've heard about that well decorated Coast Guard person. And I feel like reading up on them. Anyway, take care, Peter. And I will catch you down the log. And I'll say again, this is Joan, KX2CW. And next up is KI7Z Mike Mike. Joe, fellow KX2 owner. Here's my KX2 right here. Joe, at my desk. I reach over and turn it on. And now there it is, 14.060. Joe, please give us your report. Comments? Good evening, Joan and everybody else on the net. Joe here, KI7Z Mike Mike. You haven't heard from me in several weeks. So I've been out of state on multiple trips for work and one for fun for a family thing. The family thing was east of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. And I hadn't been there many years. And during a break in the family gathering, I got to go to Crooked Creek Reservoir, which is northeast of Pittsburgh. Right as a swim when I was a kid, when I was 12 years old, many, many, many years ago. And if you've ever been to a place that you haven't been to since you were a kid that's far away from here, it's a weird feeling, like a Twilight Zone experience. You're walking around, everything's exactly the same, only the trees are larger. The water's the same. The beach is the same. It was incredible, except for the heat and humidity that we're not used to living in Seattle here. Just unbelievable, but had a great time overall. The other trips were all work related, where I was down near Bonneville Dam working, and still in Oregon, and also in Astoria, Oregon, just recently at the former Naval Air Station, Tongue Point, as it was called during World War II. I'm still doing work there, trying to clean up the environmental mess that the Navy left way back when. And while I've been working on that site for 32 years, I'm not proud to say, but I'm trying to get it done before I retire. That's about it for me, Joan. KI7 said Mike, Mike, Joe, back to that control, 73. Comments? Well, fine. This is Joe. November, Quebec, November. Wow, look at that. I'm painting all that with someone else lit it up. I'm bringing the photoscope to front. There's a look, 15 dBm, 38 milliwatts. Anyway, Joe, it was good to hear from you. And yes, someday we could have a conversation about cleanup sites left behind by various armed forces. But anyway, that day is not today. And by the way, I've brought up the w, brought up psrg.org to read the announcements after this set, after this first round, of which are also to be found on the PSRG discussion group page in Facebook, although I'm not logged into Facebook. And that's coming up, folks. So Peter, I'm always glad to hear from you. And don't stay away, please. All right. And now next, Joe, that was a report from Joe, KSMZMM. And we had an I-O from Doug, WOWSA, which is W-A-Z-A-W. And next up is Zach, one of the new Zachs, KK7WCP. Zach, please give us a report."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-27T21:22:40+00:00","id":26095,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":26094,"text":" Kilo Kilo 7 Whiskey Charlie Papa, Zack."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-17T21:05:38+00:00","id":40608,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":40607,"text":" This is Kilo Kilo 7 Whiskey Charlie Papa and this is saying I'm going to do an I.O. since I'm waiting at the Sea-Tac Airport."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-17T21:05:12+00:00","id":40606,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":40605,"text":" All right, copy that Kk7 WCP with an IO. Hopefully you're enjoying that seasonal change, though I am sort of. Sort of. I love summertime, but also some cooler days are nice. And then you've been practicing CW, the basics. Good for you, Carrie. I know Brooks was mentioning this evening before the net that he still wants to learn Morse code. So, still on his list. I know it's a lot on other people's lists too to get all that worked on. Good job for practicing there, Carrie. I know sometimes we have to go back to the basics. When we've taken a break of things, then there's no worries about that. That's how we all remember to do what we know how to do. And then you've been programming up the new Yaesu FTX1. I wrote it down wrong. Let me fix that there. That sounds like a lot of fun. We listed that radio at one point but have not purchased it yet. Good luck programming that up there, Carrie. I hear the new ones are a lot of fun. You take care and say hello to the rest of the family forest and 33 to you. Have a wonderful rest of your Thursday. Alright, we had two IOs. Good evening, Brian, and to the net. Yeah, I have gotten that kind of reputation, haven't I? Oh, well. Everybody has to do something. Anyway, so today I spent working on a girl-meets-ship story. So these stories, girl or boy or grandmother or grandfather or troglodyte or whoever meets ship stories are always kind of fun because there's no way that you can suddenly take ownership of a starship without your life just changing utterly. And how well you adjust to that kind of depends on how adjustable or adaptable you were at first. And so this particular girl was a former sort of internet, well if you think the Kardashian sisters and add a little bit of semi-explicit sex to it and a little bit of kind of dicey, really nasty dynamics to it, but these three sisters were the star of this show called Three's Company and the oldest of the three met her ship at a party and figuring out how to make that story make logical sense so she doesn't get killed for essentially stealing a very expensive military ship was kind of an amusing challenge for a Sunday other than that I went to church yes and and then I came home and and that's what I did with the afternoon and I'll be finished with it maybe later tonight. And so there you go. Anyway, that's about all there is. $7333.88 to all of you. Thanks Brian for running the net. Thanks to all of you for listening to me ramble on about the worlds that I've been building. I love you all. This is KA90HV back to net. Hey, thank you so much for that report there and girl meets ship. It does sound very interesting and how that changes your life. Very very interesting there. So hey glad you're working through that and had a great Sunday there. Thanks for sharing that and we will catch you down the log. Have a great week coming up here Ann. All right next up Zach you are on the list. How are you tonight? KK7 WCP please come ahead with the report. Really fine they started off of trying to have a rather diagnosis car since for some reason I was having issues starting but of course it's the classical trope of it starts working the second you try to diagnose it so we have no clue what's actually causing the issue but we check the battery it's even the cold the required cold crank abs and with my Diagnostic sensor, the car alternator is putting out the 14 and a half volt so that's working well. I helped my brother put up his vapor barrier on his house and since he had a vice I was able to finally drill some holes into my project boxes and making how small you can make some anon. And then I just drove back up to Seattle so that's my day today. This is kilo 7 whiskey Charlie Papa. Sounds like your day was full of service there helping out there. Isn't that always the case like some some intermittent problem and then when you get an expert to look at it, the problem cannot be reproduced. It's always so frustrating. I feel like happens more often than not. Anyway, we'll get on you for giving that a go, at least making sure the alternator is good and stuff and getting that vapor barrier. So glad you made it back to Seattle safely. Thank you for sharing and a great night there Zach Alright, I am Brian ke7 kzh.
