"text": " Well good evening John and everyone on the net. It's good to hear from you. It's been a while since I've been on. I've either missed or fallen asleep or something. Well anyway, right now it's kind of spring lights here. We've got a lot of rain that's coming through and it's supposed to cool things off a little bit. It's been a fairly mild outfall with above normal temperatures. We're supposed to get a cool down later on this week, sometime after Thanksgiving day. For the last couple of weeks many of the local radio stations are already playing Christmas music and of course it's eternal on Hallmark, a wall to wall Christmas special. So I've been cruising the Black Friday ads and seeing if there's anything in there that's dead. That's my attention but nothing's biting so far. Like I really need more stuff but it just makes life interesting. Thanksgiving is coming up. I don't have any real hard plans but I'm going to try to make the most of it and just kind of relax. It's hard to believe it's worth it. We're just close to Christmas and close to the end of the year so time does fly. But that's all I have this time around. Thanks for hosting the net. It's always good to hear from you. 73-TFWYD.net"

"text": " A couple of things this is KC2 PKG. You were blinking in and out there for about 20-25 seconds something like that you just come and go come and go come and go and and a lot of it was dead air too so that was weird something to watch but then you got at the end it firmed up and you're all consistent so that was okay. Yes I wear an Apple watch and I really like it I really like it you know I put someone on the nightstand charges it every night and that's good and you're right I mean it's all the features that you can do and I don't use more than 20 features but because everything it really can and so I'm always discovering new things I can do with it but mostly it's great to have something that you can talk through you can use like a phone it's so if I'm you know out in the garage and I left my phone inside or something like that no problem I use my watch and there the sound is surprisingly good so I'm real impressed with that so yeah definitely an Apple watch and I guess this one's you're three years old and I have one of the original bands that came with it it's the one with its little pockets of fabric and you have a piece of titanium that slides into them and I really like it but it's gotten dirty and worn and stuff like that so I'm experimenting with ways to clean it because they don't sell it anymore and I hate that let me drop it for a second"

"text": " Yeah, I get that. That could be hard. I don't have anything close to that. I mean, the uh, you have an extra room in the house. Well, we actually have two rooms in the house because our kids are gone. And we turn one room into kind of like a computer room. And that's where my wife and I are. And she's, she got very organized. I see things are all over the place. And I would like to have a room to myself. A little man cave where I can go and nothing at hers is in that room. It would just be my stuff. We'll talk to the studio, the computer, maybe a lazy boy. But uh, as soon as that room was completely free, my wife decides she's going to turn it into my grandson's room. For when he stays over. Now he used to stay over a lot, but since he started school and everything, it hasn't been as often. I think it's been like two weeks now. Two, three weeks. But uh, that room is his, you know. And I don't want that room, dammit. I need that room. But I'm not going to get it until my grandson doesn't come over again. And it's been a year since he's been there, you know, before my wife will let me tear everything off of the walls and turn it into my room."

"text": " Good morning Ron and the Net. Well, list of one. Man, okay. Yeah, I guess I'm unique. Well, today is kind of exciting. I've got to put the strings on a new guitar for the first time, and hope nothing lets go or breaks. So there you go. It's kind of nerve-wracking. But on the other hand, yeah, it should be just fine. But yeah, I'm looking forward to doing that this morning. And then it's pizza night and bocce day and all that fun stuff. So yeah, kind of a beautiful day down here. And it's not going to get too warm. We're only going to be up in the mid 70s today. But it's crystal clear out, excuse me. So yeah, perfectly great day here in the high desert. So hey, great to hear Matt out there as well. Yeah, sounds like he's getting to run around a little bit today. So that's a good thing. And let's see, I've got a little shopping to do but not much. But mostly the big one is working on this guitar and getting it to play them. So there you go. With that I'll say 73s and turn it back. Thanks for doing that Ron. Great to hear you on the air. Hopefully you kind of figured out what was causing the system to disconnect like that. But I don't know. Anyway, it will give me a report. So back to you KD7, Papa Whiskey Bravo Dave, the High Desert Pirate Radio."

"text": " Thank you again today on my QRZ page we're listed 238 Pico balloons that we're monitoring. Last week we had 60 launches and this week we had 70. Very exciting week in the Pico balloon industry. Update with the V7 NFR has circled the Earth now going for the second time. It seems we got a micro, a mini micro capacitor slowing down. It's slow in building up enough charge to send down proper amounts of coordinates. So, but yet we're still getting reports every several days from V7 NFR-11. V1 Echo Papa balloon was launched the 17th of 1700. V1 Echo Papa has circled the Earth in 21 days and now presently over Manitoba at 39,000 feet about to cross the Hudson Bay waters. I'm hoping it's going to swing downward to Atlantic Canada for a second pass. I'll pause for a second. If you're interested in the specifics of the Pico balloon simply search on YouTube V1 Echo Papa. You'll be able to view the launch. A complete guide on what is required for a launch on my QRZ page. I've even created a service where you can now adopt the Pico balloon. It's fun, it's informative, it's free and it's a lot of fun. So, V1 Echo Papa is on 7-3 Kent. Thanks for sharing and everyone please stay safe, be well and stay connected. V1 Echo Papa portable clear."
