Thanks for running the net. 7-3 to you and everybody out there. I'm feeling a bit frazzled tonight. We're right in kind of the thick of our summertime activities as a family. It feels like we're in this kind of never-ending state of packing for a trip and then going on the trip and having fun and getting home and doing laundry and cleaning and organizing. And then by the time we get all that done, we're loading everything back in the car for the next adventure. I feel like that's been my life for the last couple weeks. It's been great though. Just feeling a little like, well, maybe a little more time at home next summer for a little longer stretches. Anyway, we got back from Camping and Deception Pass on Sunday evening and we had a great time up there. It was a little, it was decent weather but kind of chilly in the mornings in particular. Had a great time though. And then on Thursday we're headed over to Soan for a long weekend at the lake. My best friend's family has a place over there and we've been going with a group of friends for many, many years since I was in high school spending some time over there. So it's gonna be wonderful. The thing that's kind of thrown a monkey wrench into things this week and I feel like is making it feel extra frazzling is my girls are at Girl Scout Day Camp that is an hour each way from home. And I don't know what my wife and I were thinking that we thought this was a good idea. They're having a blast. But we were not accounting for four hours between the two of us. I've kind of lost time to get stuff done this week. So tomorrow, they're very excited. Tomorrow is kayaking day and that will be cool. And the theme is Western day. So I don't know, I have a bin full of costumes like many parents probably do. And I have to go after the net dig through the bin of costumes to see what sort of Western apparel I can find. Bandanas or hangercheese or I don't know. It just reminds me, a tip of the cap to Joan. I'm jealous of your awesome hat finding, Joan. Anyway, I think that's all I got. I'm just rambling now. Paul, thanks for running the net. Hope everyone's great. KK7 QES. This is repeater station kilo kilo. All right, sounds like this will be the vacation from your vacation. Well, it's not that so much as it is but having the two camps in different directions, that'll do it. There was a brief period of time when Moxie and I were working jobs and concluded the opposite direction. And you would not believe how, maybe you would, even though we had different transportation or whatever, there were times when anything kind of complicated kind of still made that pain when I had to drive her or something like that. So yeah, I definitely understand that. It's easy to have a lot of different things that you can't do. It's easy to have a lot of different things going on, get overbooked and just kind of, especially having to spend a bunch of time in a vehicle. That's not fun. So, and yeah, sounds like you have some cool bit of costumes there. That's great, I hope you find something appropriate. And yeah, you have a great rest of your week there, just seven three. All right, let's go for a recheck here from KJ7VEU. Mike, please come ahead."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-07-21T09:41:51+00:00","id":9156,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":9155,"text":" KK7QES, I am on the road this morning. And then this morning, my girls started another rep of Girl Scout day camp, so I'm on my way back from dropping them off. They were so excited. Yeah, it's, and then we leave, we leave to go over to Chelan later this week on Thursday. So yeah, the calendar's kinda packed with summer fun right now, and we're loving it. Hope everyone's well out there. Rebecca, thanks for running the net. KK7QES. Questions? Hey Bill, you can come ahead with your question. Yeah, I wonder if Justin went to Cranberry, Bowman, or Rosario Park for camping. KG7FW, be clear. QSL, Justin? Yeah, KK7QES returning. For sure, Bill. So I did not because I managed to injure my foot right before we left for camp. And so I got to hunker down by the campfire particularly the entire time. However, my wife and daughters for sure visited Cranberry Lake and Rosario Beach. There was a rock that they'd been climbing on over there, I think on the way from the main beach over to North Beach. So yeah, anyway, they had all sorts of fun little hiking and traveling around adventures. Well, I just hunkered down by the fire. KK7QES, back to net."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-04T22:07:23+00:00","id":14149,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":14148,"text":" from your occult today. So that's EJ, 2388 to everyone. This is November 3, Oscar, not Oscar. Well, fine business, Elaine. You know, it gets more and more, it happens more and more as we get older. And then the memory, if you called on your neural pathways to like, oh, here it is. Look, this is the last time you saw that red envelope. And that's excellent. I'm glad that you found it. First thing I wrote down in the remarks column when you were talking about that you apparently had a safety deposit box that you can remember. I was writing, beware of jam. But I'm glad you found it. Anyway, take care, Elaine. And it's good to hear you. And take care. Hope you're going to be safe in Florida. Well, next we had the quasi IO from David, KI7 DRP. And that brings us to one of my friends out there, KG7 QEO, DJ, who was at field day too. DJ, go ahead and give us your report. This is Kulu Gull, 7 Quebec Echo, Oscar, kindly giving seven, quick accent operator. Name here is DJ, stand up Juliet. Quick signal check with you. I have my signal. You were getting into Capital Park as a secondary and getting into Beacon as a primary. And I had it partially covered up with QRZ.com. But I could see you were getting into those two receivers quite well. Back to you, DJ. Roger. All right, thank you so much. Well, tonight I'm at my friend's shack in the woods. I can't disclose exactly where it's at. He's been here about three years. So you've got to be careful. But I bought a solar panel today and a couple of other items. I bought a 30 watt MPPT solar panel. And we have an inverter here and a battery, a deep cycle battery that's somewhat good. It's good enough. And anyway, we're working to get some power out into the shack. And it really is literally a shack, homemade, out of pieces. Probably one of the most nice signs. Don't ask me where I got the signs. But DOT might be a little mad. I don't know. It has nothing to do with that. But anyway, probably no trespassing. It was a native girlfriend here, in particular. It's still never funny. But anyway, I'm in a shack in the woods. And it's a safe spot. There's a bed here, like a little bed, a couch. And now we've got power coming. It's a 30 watt panel, though. But I'm hoping that's enough to slowly recharge it off and on. I would have gone with 100 watt, but I can't afford that. And this one will fail. My understanding is MPPT is a little bit more efficient in cloudy weather. This spot gives about three hours of direct sunlight. The rest is indirect through the canopy. But there is a hole in it. And I'm not hoping to utilize it every day. But slowly, over time, I'm hoping that's enough to come by and effectively charge up. But a relatively good spot, high elevation. It should, you know, shift. But it's not quite easy to get to. The bus is 34, 35 minutes away. Go over towards Alki. I'll keep it that. But anyway, yeah, it's dry. It's safe. There's a bed here. Nobody else is here. Nobody knows about it, really. Well, a couple people, but, you know, close to it. Communities. And yeah, anyway, you see that I can stay here regularly. And it's away from all the, it's off the street, away from all the chaos. And I have, all my battery banks are now currently depleted. I was waiting for that solar panel, really. I'm probably going to have the library charge all four of my power banks. I was thinking about buying a projector. We have a large screen area here. But I can't afford that right now. So wherever you come next month, that's my treat to myself. But I did buy a smartwatch today. Amazing, what's it? $80. And that's going to be delivered tomorrow as well. So I'm looking forward to that. And I'm doing OK. You know, food and water is always the thing. But I got a shower this morning. Went to the mail center and got my debit card. And I had misplaced my wallet recently. Bush, I don't know which Bush. Bush number 25618 917. I don't know, probably. But that Bush is really far. Anyway, I think I'm about to time out. This is Q of 07, Quebec Echo Oscar, KG 730. We're almost there. Well, DJ, you were, by the way, you were getting a cent. Again, I'll say you had the strongest signal in the Beacon, a secondary strength signal in the Capitol Park. And Cougar, you faded in strongly into Cougar a couple of times there. And 30 watt panels should be plenty. My partner and I in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, living off the grid for 3 and 1 1 years at that particular QTH, had only a 20 watt solar panel that did a good job keeping a deep cycle battery mostly topped off. But we were QRP operators and just running into moon box and some incandescent utility lighting that we would only turn on when we're in a back room and turn it off when we leave. I have that original 20 watt panel and a newer 20 watt panel, and I also have got a couple of 10 watt panels, which, of course, you can wire them in parallel to be a 20 watt panel. And I've only ever needed like 20 watt, a 20 watt panel. But I'm a dedicated QRP operator too. You're talking about getting a projector. You're starting to sound like you want to do things that may be outside of your energy budget. Also, the condition of the battery that you're floating is matters. Like if you've got a new lithium ferro phosphate four cell, that it won't lose power. It won't just lose its power sitting there. AGM batteries and lead lead oxide batteries are worse at that. It's going to lose power faster. But I'm getting off on the topic. I'll stop there, and I hope that it all works for you, DJ. So take care. Now we go to KK7QES. Justin, please give us your report. Well, hey, Joe. That's Justin, KK7QES and 73. Thanks for having that. I hope you're well. Interesting report from DJ there. I hope DJ is well in the shack too. Yeah, I'm always interested to hear what people are up to with solar projects and things like that. So good evening, DJ. I am winding down here in the shack tonight and just kind of recovering from a very busy weekend. And it felt like a summer that has been a little bit too full. But this is the first week in what I think is like six weeks that my family is not traveling out of town for kind of a long weekend or camping trip or something like that. So it's been really busy. It's been a great summer. But I'm looking forward to staying put for more than four days. It'll be really nice. And while I'm listening to the net tonight, I'm working on a little battery project too. I'm putting together, I'm going to call it like a breakout box for powering USB-C devices from a 12-volt lithium iron phosphate battery. And I have a few of those. And I just use them for powering radios, like during power edges. Or if I take them camping or for portable operations, things like that, which I haven't done much of yet. But so I have these batteries. And they're not doing much. And so I wanted to get a little bit more utility out of them. And so I've taken these. It's like a surface mount or a panel mount USB-C with multiple ports. This is the kind of thing that I actually meant for our heat. This is the heater station, low key load zone, November, Quebec, November. And put four of them in a little enclosure. Located in Shelton, Washington. And fused all that. And then put a power pole connector on it. And the idea was basically if we have a power outage, myself or my wife or anyone could easily just plug in one of these batteries to this little breakout box and have all sorts of USB-C charging ports that would power a multitude of devices. So anyway, that's what I'm working on. I'm not sure how exciting that really is to anyone, even myself. But that's what I'm doing. I hope everybody's doing great out there. I heard you report, Joan, about no smoke where you're at. We got a little bit of it here on Finn Hill. Just kind of the slightest smell faintly in the air tonight. So I hope it goes away, though. All right, I'll send it back to Nat. This is KK7 QES. Well, Justin, smoke. I'm going to check my weather guesser here, the weather app on my iPad. And I'm looking for the smoke. Just to see. It says air quality next is 71, which is worse than yesterday at about this time. So it's moderate. You know, I guess I could smell some smoke today. But it wasn't like a, what do you call it? It wasn't an oppressive amount of smoke. It was enough that I could tell it was there. And I have a pretty good sense of smell. And I could be a sommelier, probably. I can smell the difference between bed bugs. Not only can I smell bed bugs, but I can smell the difference between bed bugs and ticks. That's kind of the sense of smell I have. And I lost it. I had COVID, and I lost my sense of smell. I had long COVID, and I got my first vaccination and went away. And I've been noticing this year that I'm getting my sense of smell back. And getting it back is as good as it used to be. So anyway, yeah, air quality index of 71 for Seattle. And also, you know, batteries, the batteries that we have, battery chemistries we're using now of late, the last few years, is much better than the battery chemistries that we had before. So I'm all for it. Battery power. And many, many more duty cycles than it used to be normal. Take care, Justin. Moving right along, we've got Michael is back, KJ7VEU, to give a proper report."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-03T22:38:20+00:00","id":13934,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":13933,"text":" Okay, let's run the list. We had Tracy, thank you for your check-in. Joan, text 2CW. Come with me. Hello, Jim. Thanks for picking it up for Brian. And I thought of it, I almost did, but I thought, you know, two nights in a row I can't do it. Anyway, what I did today, I don't even know if I got out of that. Now that I think about it, I took two or three naps today, you know. So sometimes your battery is fully charged, and sometimes you just feel like, you know. Today was a tired day for some reason. But I got some good sleeping time. And the module was not out, it was a low overcast. And I could hear the planes, I mean, from one of the naps this afternoon. I was awaited abruptly by, I think it was a plane, the Blue Ranges were flying. But also saw one of their cargo planes. And I heard the turbopops of the plane, I forget what it's called, Fat Albert. But I couldn't see it, I couldn't see it, I couldn't see it largely because I just stayed in my tent bed. I kind of pulled the flap to look at the sky out of the window. And then I pulled the flap and put my dentist pillow over my head. So I just had been home drinking, sipping on coffee. Gosh, I don't remember if I got out of the building, I don't think I did. And I've just now made one of the things I like, foods I like. And maybe I shouldn't because it's starchy. But I have potatoes, I have a bag of potatoes. And once in a while I like to wash and scrub and dice up a couple of them. And put them in a bowl with salt and olive oil and faludu hot sauce. And bake them in the microwave oven for six minutes. And then I take it out and put some ketchup on it, some organic unsweetened ketchup. And I dimble on it. And I now have the last four pieces sitting here on my piano keyboard. Cheers, governors, thank you, Tim. Again, all the numbers to all my hands. This is Joan on Broadway in the Capitol Hill Behavioral Observatory. Handing it back to Ned. Thank you for the report, Joan. Yes, it sounds like you had a pretty much relaxed day taking some naps and so forth there in your tent. And observing the life down below. Even though they're small, those are people down there on the street. I had a relaxed day. I'm getting ready for a trip. I'm a little behind in my preparation so I'll be up quite a bit tonight. I should have taken a nap. It was a good idea for me to take a nap. I did not take a nap. I might have to nap after this, Ned, for about half an hour and 45 minutes. And then I try to get up so I can complete my preparation. I'm actually boarding an airplane at 8. I'm taking the train there, which means I need to get the train at 4 to 45 or something. Which is before the bus is running, so that means I've got to walk half a mile. That's a little less than half a mile down to the train station. At least it's walkable. I'm taking a suitcase, of course. So that's the fun I've got tonight. Okay, well, thank you for your check-in, Joan. Next we have AB6M-B. Jeff, come ahead with your report. Okay, Tim, thank you very much and thank you for doing the net. Yeah, I just had a nice day today to watch some baseball and some Tour de France bicycling and racing. And I got a nice temperature outside today, so it's very pleasant. Yeah, the schools are out there bebopping around, but I didn't see Rocky at the end of the day. So maybe he had a better offer somewhere, I don't know. But I got some stuff out there for him. Yeah, just doing some reading and working on some, about starting to write a book for traveling around Northern California, mostly the Bay Area. And see what else is going on, just to set the most over. Cherry hockey chicken, Jack in the Box has great cherry hockey chicken. It is really, really good, believe it or not. And you buy the, you know, you can buy it in a bowl and it just, I froze it and took it out and cooked it and boy, it tasted good. So I'm not sure how they did it, but they got a pretty good cherry hockey chicken dish with rice and that. That's about all I got, Tim. So let me turn it back to you and it would be great to hear everybody else. AV6MB. Glad to hear your weather's going down well down there. Jeff, up here we had most cloudy days. The sun kind of tried to get out a couple of times, but we remain mostly overcast. 69 degrees high right now, 69. Humidity is 60 percent, doesn't feel bad. Light wind, 3 miles an hour. Tomorrow it's going to get a little warmer, a little more sun. And then Tuesday and Wednesday it kind of pulls off again a little bit. Not bad though, not bad. And then towards the end of the week we get up into the upper 70s. Anyway, thank you for your report. Next we've got UK 7 IJC. Come ahead with the report. Hey Tim, thank you so much for hosting the debt for Brian. Well, you've got a lot to do tonight. Visit today's report in the morning. Today was a great day. I got to visit with Matt, KI7UES, and Dean, KG7ODB. It was a wonderful thing those two girls. Andy and I ventured out. And yeah, it was a lovely day. This is for Peter Station Kilo 7 November Quebec November. All Star Note 622. Located in Shelton, Washington. It was relaxing. Andy and I had some dinner and now we're just going back to the net. Let everyone have a wonderful, wonderful week. 7-3 and thanks again Tim. KK7IJZ in 33 to John. Well, Rebecca, you're sounding great there. Thank you for checking in. And it's always a pleasure to sit in and stuff on the net. So glad to be here. Let's see. Next, KK7, Kilo, Cedar. There might be a scene between Kilo and Cedar. I think I might have let her. Would that station come ahead please? 4-8 Tim, this is Justin, KA7QES. 7-3, thanks for running the net. Hope you're doing well. I'm a little late to the net. Enjoyed the round of pins. I'm finally winding down after a very busy weekend. Yesterday was the annual pig roast party that my best friend threw up every summer. And this year he roasted a 98-pound pig which was delicious and super fun. And I get to bar defend at his party and make an enormous amount of tea. He got to get those for phones. So, I spent a lot of West Week and a lot of my Friday night Saturday morning prepping things for that. Which was really fun. And everyone seemed to really enjoy the drinks and be having a thoroughly good time. So, I was happy. It was a great big party. Kids roaming and running through the yard and playing on a zip line. And the pro-ups just had a good time. And sometimes joining the kids on the line. It was really fun and silly. We all ate really well. And that was good. My wife and girls did not get to go to the table. They were on a home and kids camping in the end in the South Spence. And they got home late this afternoon. And we've all just been kind of unwind and cleaning. And our kitchen is currently a disaster. Probably will be until tomorrow, you think. But, yeah, that's how it goes. It's okay. We're all okay with it because it just shows we had a fun weekend. I hope everyone is doing great out there. And everyone had a great week. KK7 QES back to net. Sounds like you had a fun filled weekend and plans for the weekend. Yeah, excellent. Excellent. I like that. Alright. It is 9.31 now. This is KI7 Sulu Echo on the PSRG repeater. I'm going to take some announcements here. Let's see, I've got the announcement page in front of me. As usual, I'm not looking at the Facebook page. I should really do that. On our PSRG website, that's PSRG.org, where you can find out all the information about the Puget Sound Repeater Group. On the top of the page, it's got, Find Time was had by all at the PSRG picnic. Where's Jack? Jack was playing a trick here. He took three photos and everyone else stayed in place, but Jack, quick as he is, got in three places at one time for the photo. I don't know. So, check out where Jack is. It looks like, let's see, PSRG board meeting, August 9th, next Saturday, will be held Saturday, 1.30 p.m. on Zoom. As always, anyone who's invited to attend and comment, only board members will vote. Details for the Zoom login will be posted on the webpage, PSRG.org, so check that out. And I always find the board meeting is informative, so if you've never checked it out, try that out. Okay, let's see, coming up next week, PSRG season seven, so it's going to bring or shine Newton Met and Ice Cream Social, August 10th. That is going to be at Green Lake. So check out the webpage here. It's got the details, but basically it's going to be on the east side of Green Lake, just north of the Paddlebone Rentals and the Green Lake Cafe Confessions stand, so there's a parking lot right there, which usually fills up pretty quick. And considering this is noon on the 10th and sure, the parking lot will be pretty full. But there's street parking nearby. If you're a little persistent, you can find a street parking. There's another parking lot further to the west that is not usually, usually not nearly as busy as the parking lot near the concession stand in the pool rentals. So check that out. This will be run by Kenny, KJ7RAP, and Robert, KJ7JXM as hosts. We will be giving out when you get a chance to check in at the net table and pick up an ice cream ticket. So pick up a ticket, redeem your ticket at the Green Lake Cafe Confessions stand, which is located right near the Paddle Boats, across from the Paddle Boats. And then come back in and hang out with your hams. Hams, entry, and ice cream. And it probably will come smashing together, so we'll have ice cream all mixed up. I don't know. We'll see. Unfortunately, I won't get town, so I will not be there. Otherwise, it would be if you have a calling frequency shown, 46550 simplex. If you need directions to come in or whatever, I think you're pretty clear if you've ever been to Green Lake. Okay. So, let's see what's next here. Next station please. KG7 ODD Good evening, good evening. I've got you on the list. Next station please. KG7 KG8 Brian Good evening to you Brian. Nice to hear you and I've got you on the list. You know what, that's the end of that page so I'm going to go ahead and draw a line. Let's head back up to the top of this list and hear from Justin. KK7 Kilo Echo Sierra. I can't read my writing. Tell me if I miswrote it. Over to you Justin. Well hey Kami, this is Justin. KK7 Quebec Echo Sierra. Thank you for writing that out tonight. I hope Paul is well out there. You're doing a wonderful job and thoroughly enjoying all the check-ins. And by the way, I also very much enjoy the Pyrex anecdotes. For what it's worth, I've had both the borosilicate and the soda glass versions. Neither have exploded on me but I think it's one of those things that people get fanatical about. Maybe not fanatical but people say always just splurge for the Pyrex stuff and don't get cheaper borosilicate glass cookware. Because sometimes it does explode apparently. Anyway, pretty mellow evening over here. Tonight was the national night out and some of our neighbors hosted a big get together which was pretty well attended. So that was kind of fun and got to meet some new neighbors that we hadn't met before. And it was pretty cool to see there was about six Kirkland police cars and officers there in a fire truck just parked in the neighborhood as we were walking down. I knew that we were expecting at least one Kirkland police officer. I did not realize they were sending a whole crew so it was pretty cool. The kids loved getting tours of the vehicles and we got to meet our new interim police chief so that was kind of cool. And then after about an hour and a half or so they packed up and got out of there and they were headed to their next neighborhood to go visit. So that was kind of cool making those connections. After that we had some neighbors over to our backyard because they just got a new dog and our dog loves to play and loves to make new friends. So they kind of ran around and went nuts in the backyard together and we all laughed and just hung out. Then I finished watching the Marrier's game a few minutes ago and that's been my night. It's been really just a wonderful mellow Tuesday night. Alright I hope everyone's well out there. Cami thanks again for running the nets. I'll send it back to you. Well that sounds like a really lovely evening. Thank you so much for sharing that with us. I quickly looked up National Night Out and I've seen stuff around posted about it and I just didn't really know that much about it. It says that it's an annual community building campaign held on the first Tuesday of August to promote police community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. It encourages neighbors to get to know each other and their local law enforcement, fostering a stronger sense of community and promoting safety. So that's pretty cool. I'm glad that you were able to participate in that. It sounds like your law enforcement folks did as well. That's awesome. I'll have to put that on my calendar and make sure and participate next year. So thanks for sharing that with us. You take care and have a great rest of your night, all the numbers. Next up we have Joan here from C.W. Joan it's too late for coffee but I've got a liquid ID that I'm drinking at Blackberry Peach Flavor. I'm posting it in your direction. Cheers Governor. How's your evening? Cheers Governor. That's just a little bottle of something. I suppose I should take a token some of it. Just the tiniest. There, I think it was a nip. Anyway, there are a few cop cars blocking the pike path. So then the bicyclist is coming down where they're supposed to go. In the traffic. Oh, they stuck past. There we go. Good. Here comes another bicycle. Also sneaking past the dual police cars. I wonder what's up down there. You know, I almost don't even wonder anymore. Although my duty is to be an observer, my Star Trek cosplay is that I am an archaeologist. There's also my favorite Martian. Remember the Martian was an archaeologist studying Earth. But I have this idea that my fantasy is I've just been sent to the early 21st century to document. I'm a documentarian and I'm documenting the downfall. You know, which led to the, well, I'll just won't go into it. People are familiar with the Star Trek world building. No, that the 21st century was a bad time. Anyway, but besides that, I got on my bicycle today and I rode all the way to the credit union, the BECU credit union, and realized I did not have my debit card. And I just wanted to, you know, check my balance and stuff. So I did, oh yeah, I stopped at the, I checked my mail at the post office and I stopped by the farmer's market and bought some beans, bought two pounds of bean cherries. I love them. This is a really dark red one. And I didn't need to go grocery shopping because I had done that yesterday. But I did go back. I came home and got my debit card and went back. And all I wanted to do was check my transactions. And the last 10 transactions showed me enough for me to feel confident. So I asked to see my last month and they printed it out for me. And it all was in order. And on the way back home, I stopped at Dick's and got some fries and a chocolate shake and then hung out a lot with my friends. And my favorite measuring cup, Cami, is the old capital letter Pyrex measuring cup. But I also have three lowercase, newer Pyrex bowls. I could tell more, but I'll stop. KX2CW, Joan and Broadway, back to that. Joan, I always love hearing about your adventures, Joan. And I can totally relate to getting where you need to go and realizing you forgot the thing that you needed to bring. I do that far more than I care to admit. And I'm just picturing you riding your bike around all of those places down to the market and over to Dick's to get some fries, especially on a beautiful day like today. You keep up the good work documenting. I know that you are a documentarian and that you do a fine job of documenting everything. And not just know what's going on up there on Capitol Hill. Thank you for checking in and thank you for documenting all of this. You take care, 33, and all of the numbers. Oh, and I have a small Pyrex measuring cup too, but I cracked it and I can't bear to get rid of it. So it's just to look at now and not to use. So I'm on the lookout for another one. Have a great rest of your night. Next up we have Peter. How are you doing, Peter? I am a little on the tired side. I was out getting a few things done today, but I need to get some rest. So we have Radio Wave Wednesday tomorrow. And then on Saturday we have Cake, coffee assisted knowledge exchange. So coffee, ham, ham, and the weather's been nice. And we usually get 10 to 15 people show up. So it's always really interesting. And the idea is to go home with some more knowledge. So those are the big events for this week besides all the daily check-ins and nuts going on. Back to you, GE6RAF. Question for you, Peter. I heard you talk about your group before, the Cake group coffee assisted knowledge exchange. And I was curious, the knowledge that you're exchanging, is it mainly radio? Or are you exchanging knowledge on any particular topics? Or is it just really whatever topic people are curious about? Or what's your opinion on that? Basically it's for hams that still work Monday to Friday. And more technical stuff. So it's basically ham related. But other things come up too. Sometimes politics, weather, trips, computer stuff. But basically a ham oriented. Well that makes sense. Thanks for coming back with that. Yeah, I was just curious. It seems as though it's mainly ham radio. But it seems like other topics might come up from time to time as well. Even if you've got that topic of mainly ham radio. Will you take care, Peter? Thanks so much for sharing that. And I hope you have a fantastic Cake meeting and exchange lots of knowledge. 73 to you and all the numbers. Next up we have Mike, KJ7BEU. How are you doing Mike? I'm doing fine. I'm doing fine. I plugged it in and charged and I felt it pulsing and moving late instead of coming on like the other one was. I pulled the bottom off the dust screw and put the battery in the controller for it. And I still have the batteries between the two of them plugged in. The wires over there were being worn on the floor. And it's a battery. It's got a shorter battery so the controller is just you know in protection. I took it home. I've already told you I'll just give you a .8 volt battery. You can put the battery in the note on there. And it's a church. So let's see what else. I voted gay. It took me half an hour to drive there. And as far as the shape, yeah that was my thing. The shape or whatever. Actually I had the wearing one linen suit. I had the hips on clean and a drop for a moment. And I had a chocolate on a chocolate chip sundae. It's good. Actually those are pretty good. Those are pretty good. So that and a cheeseburger on clean and it's like 5th of July. And pretty decent. And it was a night there was a bunch of college graduation stuff. And about half dozen twenty something sat next to me. That was great. I got to ask him if I had, I said I was afraid of looking down at my linen coat, jacket regarding my hot fudge sundae. Was it clean? I was afraid of looking down. Yeah he told me it was good. I like to give a few conversations with everybody, especially women. Redheads are fun. Hey you're a redhead too. Hey you have a good night. Coffee Assistant Knowledge Exchange. We'll see about that. Good night."},{"callsign_confidence":0.99,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-10T22:30:19+00:00","id":16033,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":16032,"text":" Michael Sierra returning. Michael in Yukon, where it's 18 degrees Charlie. It's at around 58 degrees foxtrot, I believe. The, uh, thanks for taking my check and thanks for being there. You sounded good here, good to hear everyone. Working away on the preparatory list for a possible trip out of town tomorrow. Waiting to hear from a different contractor to see if they have whatever they need to justify their trip or do the work. I don't know, anyway, so we're waiting here. So I'm getting ready for that, maybe, or something else, perhaps. A little bit of mystery. This pay had a nice strategic planning session with some members of the local club here. Gosh, it went well. It was session number one. We'd reached out to the membership for some input ahead of time. Always nice to receive more, but we got some, so that's good. We met with those things in consideration and reviewed the last strategic planning. Had a lot of good conversations. Very enlightening, let's say. And I'm still fairly new to the club in general. For 50 years next year, so there's a lot to know here. It was a good one. Well, that's all I got for the moment. How are you doing, Brian? I'm back to you from Victor Yankee 1 Mike Gulls here. Big radio wave to all 73 friends from VY1 MGS. Hey, good stuff. I'm glad that you're getting active with that local club there. PSRG is also at 50 years. We've been doing the 9 o'clock nets for over 30 years. I know that. But yeah, good stuff and getting local there and stuff. It would probably drive me nuts to not know if I was actually going on a trip the next day. You're packed up, but then you're like, wait, am I going? Anyway, sounds like you're in good spirits about that and ready for whatever happens there. So I'm bringing HT with you if you're going on a trip and stuff. Have a great time, be safe, and we will catch you down the log here. Oh, and then how's Brian doing? I'll give a report after this round. I didn't get one yet. Try to keep things moving. Last on this round, Sebastian, how are you tonight? Whiskey Alpha 7 Echo Victor Zulu. Please give us a report. Hey, Brian and Nets. This is Sebastian, WA7EZ, transmitting from Seattle. I had a great day today. Got up and rode the e-bike over to Green Lake and met everyone for the Ice Cream Social. It was great to see everyone and chat about Ham Radio. And I had a Snickers ice cream bar, so can't complain about that. After the Ice Cream Social, my wife, Peng, and I met Robert and Cammie for lunch, so that was fun. Get caught up while they were up here in Seattle. And after that, I just kind of hung out at home and I finished building an antenna I've been working on for a while. And I was wondering if maybe I could test it out. So right now I am transmitting on my little rubber ducky and I would like to switch to this new antenna. And maybe you could tell me what my stats look like. This is the first time. First contact. I'm switching right now. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7 November Quebec November. This is WA7EBZ located in Shawna A and main DBJ2 antenna designed by Ed Fong. It sounded good on the receive and I'm curious if it sounds good on the transmit. I will send it back to you, Brian. This is Sebastian WA7EBZ. I think I already said that. And 7-3 everybody. Have a good night. Bye. Well hey Sebastian. Good news. That new antenna is working very well. Full quieting there. I kind of looked up at the voter scope and you're hitting way more of the receiving stations as you were using that second antenna. And it was cleaner sounding. The first antenna sounded good. No problems. But it was actually bouncing between a couple of the repeaters. Sorry the receiving stations. And that one you were lighting up almost all of them. Probably even reduce your power with that newer antenna there. So whatever you got going on there it is more than adequate and I would either vote. So I guess I will. Yeah use that new antenna. It's totally making the trek. No problem there. And the proof is in the pudding there on the voter scope. So yeah when you get a chance play with that antenna. Do a little back and forth. Watch the voter scope. But yeah definitely stick with that new antenna there. Good stuff and I'm glad you're able to get that Snickers bar and head over to the Raider shiny net. And have a little extra time with Robert and that's always a good time there. Thanks for that Sebastian. And we will catch you down the log. I am Brian. K.E. 7 K's at H. This is a 9 o'clock net on the PS RG repeater in Seattle Washington. Let me reset. I'll take a quick turn myself. Brian I'm up in Marysville Washington. It's my QTH. We're not able to make the rain or shine net today. I've got my mother in law coming into town here and so much other stuff to do. I said yes to a gig with a cover band. And I guess it's a group where they actually have a large consortium of people and musicians. And it's never the exact same musicians but they're all extremely high caliber. And basically the group gets hired to do gigs and then they throw together all these different band members. And so they send out some MP3s and all this stuff of even kind of like arrangements of sorts or shortening of songs different medley type things even of some different popular tunes. And so basically I got emailed a drop box of 5 gigabytes worth of music and stuff and a very very very long set list. And I guess for this wedding they have specifically wanted some more country music along with some pop music. So I got the phone call from the drummer of the country band that I had played with some years ago and asked if I wanted to do this. And he asked me about a year ago and I almost forgot about it but it was on my calendar. So anyway that's actually coming up Saturday. It's over, I don't know how you say it, like Roach? R-O-C-H? It's like right on the tip of one of the islands. It's practically the northern most you can get before Canada. It's still in Washington state so we'll be taking a ferry over there Saturday morning and then we play until after 11 o'clock p.m. They're providing a hotel room and I don't think we can even get a ferry home that late so I'd be heading back Sunday morning. Let me reset. So I would not be able to make that, what is it, the ham, the ham, wait a minute, what do you call it? Swap meat over at the Shoreline Community College that morning there. So basically today we were cleaning up and doing a bunch of stuff, had to make a dump run and our recycling only gets picked up every other week. We always have too much so we just take our boxes there. I basically spent many many hours today going through music and learning and especially all of the songs that will be in the set list that are specifically country songs and have specific fiddle parts that people will recognize. I need to make sure that I can nail those 100%. In addition to some of the pop songs I'm like well what do I do during these and is there something interesting to do without ruining the original or making it country per se but how do I add to this song. Just some of their pop songs, I won't name them but anyway so I spent a lot of time today practicing and had to get all of that done. I'm going to have a long work week this week so I knew I wouldn't have a ton of time to prepare for this gig that's coming Saturday there. So that's my excuse for not making the ice cream social but hopefully I can make an event here. Maybe if we get another waffle night or something, although those might be jinxed, I'm not sure. Anyway, with that I'll send it back to myself, KE7KZH. Alright, that said, again I am Brian KE7KZH. This is the 9 o'clock net on the PSRG repeater in Seattle, Washington. Let's see if we have any other new check-ins or rechecks tonight. Please come ahead. K07 Tango November Papa Troy. Hey there's Troy, K7TNP. You're on the list. More stations please. He's from the UK and he's got, like he kind of made a name for himself on YouTube like making, like YouTube, like he would perform like little musical things on YouTube. And the guy is just so cool. He plays tons of different instruments and composes his own music of course. And he's kind of, like his style is kind of like rooted in like jazz and funk but he plays all kinds of stuff. So anyway, it was really cool to see him in person. He performed on the Central Park, like the Central Park stage. I forget exactly what they call it but anyway, it's like a small venue in Central Park and it was just so cool, like we lucked out with great weather, you know. And anyways, it's just such a cool venue to see like a person that I really am enjoying listening to right now. Yeah, so now I'm back and just working, you know, back to everyday life. And I am going to go to the Ice Cream Social which I am super excited about and of course I'll be attending the board meeting as well and I think that's going to be my update for this evening. Thanks for hosting Rebecca and a radio wave too. My friends out there and that's about it. KJ7 and UW, back to net. I love New York City. What a nice time of year that you get to go to. It's probably all warm and beautiful. Yeah, it's great. I'm glad that you got a getaway and got to see some music. Got to go out to the park. That's awesome. I'm glad that you take those trips. I love you. Work hard, play hard. 33, Madeline, 88, all the numbers. Thank you so much for checking in. Yeah, and have fun at the board meeting. Alright, this is Rebecca KK7 IJZ. Next on the list is Justin. KK7, QES, what's going on Justin? Well hey Rebecca, this is Justin KK7 QES. 73, hope that you are well. I'm having a very quiet week compared at least to the last few weeks. Me and my family are very much enjoying that. My wife and I like to say sometimes that we just need time to putter around the house. Which I think basically means working on various small projects of relatively little importance. Some that just need done, some that make us happy. But no time pressure to do any of it. So that's what we've been kind of doing this week. It's been nice. So tonight I worked in the garden for a bit. That was cool. My bush beans, which I got so many green beans from my bush beans this year. I had never grown them before. And they were so delicious and it's like one of my girls favorite foods. So they were happy. But they are just starting to tire out. But my pole beans are just starting to come in. So kind of perfect timing. I would say I planned it that way but it's just kind of luck. Anyway, what else? I've had a weather station just mounted on a fence post in my yard for a couple of years. And I've been meaning to put that on a mast on my shed. So I finally did that tonight. And I wanted to get that done because I'm planning to put a solar mesh-tastic node on that same mast. I guess that kicks me into gear to get that one thing done. And then I've been listening to the net and while I'm doing that I've been putting together a new set of radial wires for this portable vertical antenna that I bring with us when we go camping and stuff like that. The radial system that came with it was kind of weird. It was made from a ribbon cable, like a computer ribbon cable. Like the ones that ID drives would be connected to and things like that. Used for all sorts of things really. But it's this giant ribbon of super tiny wires and you had to separate them individually. Each individual strand and then they would break and tangle and just turn into a rat's nest. It was kind of an interesting concept. It didn't work very well in practice. So I'm making a set that will stand up to my clumsy antenna deployment. Anyway, that's what I've got going on here. I hope you're well. I hope everyone is doing great out there. KK7, QES, back to net. Well that sounds great. Well I mean you didn't plan it this year but next year you will plan it. Now that you know about the beans. Beans, beans, beans. It reminds me of this poem I once heard. It goes like this. Beans, beans, they're good for your heart. The more you eat, the more you... Um... Ah! I forget the rest. Darn! Ah, oh well. Maybe someone will remind me. But yeah. Well, thank you so much for your report Justin. I'm glad that you and your wife are taking time to put her around the house. And yeah, House's Never Ending Project. Houses, people, kids, gardens, all of the things. The Never Ending Project. And good luck with the mast. Have a great weekend Justin. Thank you so much for checking in and giving me your report. Last on this list we had an I.O. from Cody, AG7LR. And that was the end of that list. So I am going to... Uh, yeah. Let's make another list. Call, sign, and name, RF and internet. 4, call for a N.E.S. Hey Steven, why don't you go ahead with your report. Back to you. Okay, thank you very much Rebecca. This is 4G1NYS. My name is Steven. I'm here in Patanga City, Philippines. Three minutes after one in the afternoon here local time. Friday afternoon. Just coming up and supporting the Puget Sound over the internet. And looking forward to the weekend. And I'm going to be sure to get back to you. Well thank you so much for coming in and yeah, that's great. One o'clock in the afternoon. I love that. Well thank you so much and have a wonderful weekend in the Philippines. And I appreciate you supporting our nets and supporting the Puget Sound Repeater Group. I always love to hear from you Steven. 7-3. Alright, we'll go ahead and do last call. Let's do last call for the PSRG 9 PM net. Last call. Kilo Kilo 7, Fox Kilo Bravo, 3 with an I.O. Alright, I accept. I accept your I.O. Have fun on vacation. 733, more stations please. This is last call. KE7 KZH Brian. What? Alright Brian. KE7 KZH. Yay! Ooh, Brian. I have some good news for you. Alright, more stations please. This is last call."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-09T22:14:28+00:00","id":15683,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":15682,"text":" Brooks, thanks. Appreciate the encouragement. I know this is tough because I'm realizing that one of the things you have to deal with when you're doing a net is all the texts that it jacks into you. So, anyway, I look forward to seeing you tomorrow. And next is definitely Brooks' better half, Megan K9MLR. Over to you. Good evening to you, Dean, and hello to Jack and everyone else out there on the net. K9MLR, Megan here at home in Newcastle. Excited to hear you out there tonight, but definitely more excited to see everyone tomorrow for the ice cream social. As Brooks mentioned, it was a very busy day. We have been very busy, but lots of things getting done, and I'm a little bit envious. My brother moved into a very beautiful view of the apartment. He is in South Lake Union, so the apartment faces back towards the Space Hill and towards the water there. So, yeah, a little bit close to that, but I'm not sure of the city life. I definitely like living in the suburbs, but that's just my personal thing. Anyway, thank you for being that excited for tomorrow. I've got all the tickets right by the door so I don't forget them. See you all tomorrow at 73. K9MLR. Thanks, Megan. Yeah, I look forward to seeing these tickets. I have a feeling they're not your typical, I mean there's been a lot of fanfare going on about them, so I'll be looking forward to that. So thanks for checking in and gracing our net tonight. Next, we have another person. Well, everybody on here is a person, but let's just give it up for Rebecca KK7IJZ. Well, Dean, the joke's on you, I'm not a person. Boom! I have a figment of everyone's imagination. Just joking. Dean! You're doing it. You're doing it. You're doing it. I'm so excited. You can't see me do my happy dance, but it's happening. But anyway, I had a great day. It was a wonderful, wonderful day. I spent most of the day in my PJs. I get to see some of your little faces. I got to hear Madeline be your first check-in. What a day. August 9th goes down in the books as the day the Dean goes to the net. 88 and 73 and all the numbers Dean and KK7IJZ. And 33 and 64 and 70. Say again, all of the ladies. Thanks, Rebecca. I appreciate you checking in. Well, I just appreciate you in general. So, yeah, it's always good to say hi to, say hi to Andy for me as well. Next we got Justin, KK7QES. How are you, Justin? Well, hello, Dean. 73. I have never heard you and Jack calling at 9 p.m. now. Either of you. But it is so good to hear both of you. I was out late and was expecting to hear Rich and Bill. I think they are both well. But I'm so excited to hear you taking over my control. Anyway, super cool. You're doing a great job. I haven't really heard much of any help, but you're all doing great. Anyway, I've had a great day. Lots of time outside in the garden. Just, I don't know. It helps me just feel completely relaxed. And I got my cucumber trellis back under control. My jalapenos are so close to being ready for harvest. I'm really excited about that. I'm trying to convince my girls to eat a jalapeno with me. They are not enthusiastic so far, but we'll see. And then some other boring yard chores. And then this afternoon I installed a pulley system in my girls' bedroom. So about a year ago I built them some loft beds. And they wanted a pulley system with a bucket to be able to move things up and down. So we finally got that done. And they've been playing with that all evening. It's been really fun. And quite hilarious listening to them. And then lastly, I'm just watching the Marius game. And it's really cool. Tonight was the ceremony for retiring hero number 51 prior to the game. It was a really cool ceremony. And it seems like the entire, all the guys you would expect from the 95 team to be there. And the 2001 guys and all that. Anyway, a really fun game to be watching. Dean, I hope you're doing great. Thank you for running the night tonight. And Jack as well. I'll send it back. KK7 QES. AF4LL. AF4LL. AF4LL. Good afternoon from your in-depth interview with NYS. We've no further traffic coming in and out for the future. So much for coming in and I hope things go well for you over in the Philippines. And next we've got, we have Jeff, B6MB. Down in Bolivia, before I ended up, Jeff lives not too far from where I grew up. He lives over in Union City, which is about, oh, I don't know, he's on the other side of the, I grew up in Palo Alto. So he's about 10 or 15 miles from where I grow up. So I know his area. And then we're going to head over to you, Jeff. Okay, Dean, I'm going to preach to you host of the net. I said, you know, I can't miss this. I got to go support Dean there. I'm feeling great there. I wouldn't expect to go west. Yeah, here at San Francisco Bay Area, it was about, we got up in the mid-80s. It's a warm day and it's 78 degrees out there right now. But, you know, not a sunny day then. Yeah, just watching the Dodgers win the game and hopefully the Mariners are doing the same. I root for the Dodgers, so always good. The hometown team. Okay, great job to you, Dean. Keep up the good work, AB6MB. All right, Jeff, thanks a lot. I appreciate your check-in. And yes, the next and the last person on this list is AF4LL Bill from Arlington, Virginia. And before I hand it over to you, I always enjoy when you check in because I've heard you mention that your apartment or your home overlooks the Iwo Jima memorial. And my father used to live, like, there's no way you don't live like one or two buildings or maybe even in the same building. It was a 1200 North Nash Street in a building called Prospect House. So I know that area in the back of my hand. So, yeah, over to you, AF4LL. Well, good morning from Iwo Fort Historic, Arlington, Virginia. Yeah, that's about right. I'm very close to Iwo Jima, Fort Meyer, Arlington Cemetery. I'm seven floors up. I have a wonderful view of the area. I have a two meter station here and a ten meter station. I've worked a hundred and three hundred to a cycle with a hand stick and a strike to nine five five and a President Lincoln two plus. So intent on doing real well. I enjoy getting on that going here also, sir. And I've been on this net soup numerous times, as you have pointed out. And let me get your call to the log, please. I've been here many years ago. Hi. Hi. I love pretty much everything. So I'm glad to be here this morning. It's beautiful. It's going to be about 60 degrees by morning. And like I said, the view is tremendous. Coming and going right to Reagan National all the time to see the Pentagon, to see the Jefferson Memorial, to see the Kennedy Center. So I got a pretty good view here. And yeah, you seem like you know the area. Back to you, sir. Again, if I can get your name and your call for the log. This is AF4LL. This is repeater station Kilo, Kilo, and of course my whole son Kilo Gulls, Sadwin, Oscar, and my name is Dean. So yeah, again, always enjoy having you check in. And we'll hear you soon. So just before the rubber meets the road, I'm going to hand the mic over to Jack. KI7RMU over to you. G70D. Alright, the great round nicely played my friends. Fantastic. We'll see. That's what greatness can do right there. Alright, this is Jack KI7RMU. I'm going to read the announcement. That is one announcement. And that is for tomorrow, Sunday, August 10th, PSRG, Season 7, Episode 5, The Rain or Shine Net, and Ice Cream Social at Green Lake. We're in the lake and on our website to find out all the details. PSRG.org. It's a new net host by Kamri and Robert. You heard them here earlier. And we're celebrating summer and the recent marriage of Brooks and Megan. Megan has purchased some special tickets to get your ice cream treat at the Green Lake Cafe and stand right nearby. And boy do they have a lot to choose from. That place is well stocked. Alright, that is the announcement. We have lots more, but I just want to get to that one right there. Alright, this is Jack KI7RMU. This is the 9 o'clock net, 936P. Let's get some more check-ins. Come in. Call, sign, and name. 7, this is Fox 5 Bravo, Bill, A7WXC. Alright, I got Bill. Who is here? Station 7 was Bill. Come ahead. J, J7, RJL, Fermison. RJL, what else do we have? J, Alpha, E, Alpha 7, Lima, Romeo, Cody, and the 9-0. Sam, Paul, Bernal, Thank you, Cody, AG7, L.O. I think I heard Jim in there. Was that Jim? KI7, BZ. Well, I didn't say anything, but I did press the button. I can, I can simulcast. And yes, I heard everybody else that didn't say anything. But, yes, I am here, Jack. KI7, BZ. Well, I heard a K, and I knew it was you. That's how I knew that. That's interesting. Alright, well, we didn't say anything, but I don't know if I'm just, I'm hallucinating like Chad, HPT4. Chad, HPT5 apparently did lots of lists. Alright, Jim, I'm gonna put you on the list. Who else? Sam, 7, I'm going with our guest. Chris is calling 9-0. Hey, Steve, you're at the Los Angeles Home Station with the I.O. Come back, please leave your call, sign and name. Kilo, I'm an officer, Julia, Kilo, KSM and OJK, Chris is calling, I.O., good evening. Hey, Chris, nice to hear you. Thank you so much for your call, I.O. tonight. You have a good night and enjoy the rest of the weekend, KSM and OJK. Let's take one more station, please, for round three. K-3 is the low east. Alright, we got Rich in there. Yeah, so, Rich, you've been fishing. We'll explain that when we get to you. Alright, let's go back to Bill, K7WFB. Bill, did you co-host you tonight? What were you? I did co-host you, indeed. That is so good of you both for Rich and me since we're both out of town. Thank you so much, lovely to hear from all my Saturday night friends. I'm up here in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia on Vancouver Island with my wife for staying a week or so and just have a nice place on the shores of the Gulf of Brazil looking kind of northeast back into the interior. Very pretty. And talking about pretty, if you've got a window you can pump your head out, go look at the moon coming up, it's especially pretty tonight. My wife is just coming in the door telling me it's unbelievable. We had a great day today. There was a little airport up here we hadn't been to before. We found there was a restaurant there so we wanted to check it out and there were these four guys standing there and they were going skydiving the business where you're kind of two pros and you latch onto the, you know, they strap you to their belly, I guess it is. Their plane came up and they told us to go home so he zoomed off about a 15 minute drive to this field and watched them jump on the plane for the first time, the two guys for the first time from 10,000 feet. It was a great time. There were actually three of them all together, three college students, one from Japan, one from Germany, one from the United States, one from the United States. That's the whole axis, isn't it? I didn't realize that. Anyway, very nice kids and took some photos and videos. We're going to send them. Anyway, we had a lot of fun. Good fun day. Back to you Jack, and to you and Dean. Lovely talking to you. Good to see you. You organized your bill, thank you so much. Come ahead KJ7RJL. Just a quick question there Jack, how's my perception coming in because you guys are a little tired on my interest. I'm going to go to the airport tomorrow because of my transportation. Accessing isn't going to get me to vote on time or the posters coming back to place again. I'm going to take a seat and grab a t-shirt set for the transportation. I guess you can get three ice creams tomorrow because I was going to bring Chat with me. I was going to sell some of those tickets over there. Like I said, I probably only have 10 left. Where the amateur radio club and I do the polo shot in. I didn't want to be over there. Let me drop a sec. Yeah, well, seeing you there doing that and receiving back to when I was over there working and then seeing him talk with a few other people. I'm going to put vinyl records and everything and the colors and whatever, how big they were and how small they were and all the collections that he's got. Wow. Yes, I want to be very nice though. We have the spot at Green Lake where it is shady. Check that today. After dinner, we wrote on the cycle, I put lights on the cycle. I talked about that so we can be out now as sunset is getting sooner and sooner and sooner. We can be out after dark now because we now have bad lights. And then all the time, evening all night was the beautiful, beautiful moonrise tonight. This is the time of the year that the moon rises over the hills on the other side of the lake. It was absolutely spectacular tonight. And then we get to top it off with a nine o'clock. What a fantastic day. So anyway, back everybody from there on the East side. And hope you guys have a fantastic time tomorrow at the Rain or Shine. It's going to be all shine and a lot of ice cream. So anyway, back to Jack's Delties everybody. This is Jim and Tina, Tina Lake, K7. Good to see you, Zach. Alright, well Jim, thank you so much for checking in. Of course, enjoy your great Sunday out there, dear Lake. Hope you get a lot of skiing and it'll be a lot of fun. Alright, let's go talk to my neighbor now. N70WG Steve, we're going to hear you on a Saturday night. Go ahead. I'll often check in to the nine o'clock but a big thing's been happening here at 32nd Northeast. First off, I want to ask a question. Is anybody else experiencing the kind of a clipping of audio? It kind of reminds me of an imitation of it. So when you're talking and it sounds like this... It's breaking up the audio. I wonder if it's just smooth, the skin would hear or is it coming across to everyone. That's number one. Any comment on that, Jack? We're not imagining that it is real. We did not get a chance to restart the machine before the internet. I apologize but I would like to do that if we can. Maybe do a quick restart but I don't want to compromise the net at this point. So we're going to continue on but it doesn't sound that bad. It's not like Lloyd Bridges in Steak Hunt. But anyway, it is a little broken up but we're just going to continue. Go ahead, Steve. That's 7GWG, KI7RMU. KI7RMU and 7GWG. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I thought it might be one of the settings on the squelch, you know, clipping off to the signals at my end. The main thing here was that 48 hours ago we had a backup, a sewer backup in the house and we got some folks to come out and they said, We'll cut it for 99 bucks. I said, that's a deal, that's a deal. But of course, then they cambered the sewer line and said, if you want to get rid of this reoccurring problem with ruts and stuff, we can line the 35 foot of your sewer line and you'll never, never have to do anything again. And Donna and I looked at Donna and Donna looked at me and we went, Oh, jeez, that's another trip we can't afford now. But we bought it and these guys were on site within two hours, cutting the hole down to our sewer line and today they came back and they finished this super duper kind of a lining of the, they put this, this, this kind of phrase. A big condom in the line and it's with epoxy and they stuff another line that, that, that, they said, they ballooned and it forces the epoxy to the surface of the old line. And then thirdly, they stuffed this electrical lighting, the blue light, the blue light down there and it cures the epoxy and then they pull this all out and you're done for another 100 years. I'm not telling you how much it cost, but it was really interesting to see it done. And so that's, that's the last 48 hours of our house and 7 GWG. Alright Steve, yeah, that's a great process they have and so that way they don't have to bring in the ditch witch and dig up your yard and do all that and then, you know, charge you all that money. So it is somewhat easy, that's for sure. Well, you know, maybe you can go to Fife or something instead of Europe, I don't know, maybe some place like that, not too far away. Anyway, good to hear you and say hi to Don and say hi to the dozer and thank you so much Steve, good to hear you my friend. And of course Steve lives not too far from me, you're in Northern Seattle. Alright we're going to go and I'm going to acknowledge Chris with his check-in, KF70JK and TIO. We're going to go talk to the fisherman and he's going to have to explain that now, he just posted something a bit on the Facebook group. Rich, K30E, West Seattle, how are you? Well good evening Jack and everyone. Well, I haven't had any adventure like Steve had, that's for sure, thank goodness. But yeah, I'm fishing for singles this evening. I got the old fishing net out and, you know, I just a few screws and a couple of clamps so I can attach the cable and by golly, the SWR is good and it's working great. So I get right about that, that's for sure. Anyway, first up, well, got a little quilt project done, let's see, tomorrow I'm going to bring some stuff that you might want to take along to at least a few things along to donate so I'll have those and yeah, so anyway looking forward to ice cream. Back to you K2E. Alrighty now, alright, well do you think you might have to share some with Pueblo too or possibly risk losing a kneecap? Entirely possible Jack, oh my goodness, I don't know if the place there has pumped guts but we'll find out. In any case, he will be along and I've heard, the rumor has it there's going to be a lot of huffs tomorrow. Back to you K3O8. Yeah, that's for sure, and Green Lake was packed today and they do have a water bowl outside for dollars at the Green Lake Cafe which is really nice of them, they're a great group. Alright, well thank you Mitch, have a good evening, you get some sleep too and stay out of Pueblo for us and we'll talk to you soon. Let's get it over now to Dean, KG70DB with round 14. Take it away please. Thank you Jack, I gotta tell ya, I think the full moon is bringing them out tonight. So anyway this is Dean, KG70DB and we're going to go to round 4. Call sign and name. KG772I miss. We've got Matt with a recheck. Four stations please. November 3rd, I'm in my box please. November 3rd, I'm in my box please. I'm in my box please. I'm in my box please.
