"text": "Sounds like you need another cup of coffee, dude. I just made my first cup. First I had a Pepsi. Gotta have Pepsi in the morning. Now I made myself a nice cup of coffee. Fancy kind, too. Not Starbucks kind or anything like that. But uh, Maxwell House out of a can and it's kind of like a mocha chocolate thing. Yeah, I didn't know it was caramel. Caramel, I'm sorry. Haven't had one of them in a long time, but that's what I'm drinking. so interesting story I've been telling everybody that you know when it comes to politics and news I'm getting away from it I'm just I'm taking a sabbatical and one of my subscriptions to let's say New York Times it was going to be up in like three weeks and I said okay I'm true to my word I'm going to go in here and cancel I wasn't going to call him up and cancel he used to have call them up and cancel but they the law changed that so you can just do it online i thought it would be one two three i'm done so i did my one two and my two and then they offered me another year for the same price i picked for this year and it was really really really cheap about a savings of about three hundred dollars so i was like an idiot i went ahead and resubscribe for another year with the New York Times. It kind of makes me kind of makes me a liar because I want to think about it. I keep telling her but I'm going to get away from all this crap and then I just because of the old mighty dollar being so cheap to get a product I did it again. Go! Keep me on the list, KB0MAI."

"text": " Well, on the Venezuela thing, I believe that I'm hearing a lot of hearsay. I'm not seeing any proof. I'm not seeing any facts. That is not open. You know, I just, this is the one thing, if we have good reason to go in there and put our troops in harm's way, our men and women that are in the military in harm's way, I'm all for it. But until I hear that fact, that proof that we really need to be in there and at war with this country, I'm going to disagree with it completely. Like I said, I haven't seen or heard anything that has convinced me so far that these actions are necessary. So I worry about my fellow vets, you know, and I don't want to see anybody harmed on our side for a bullshit reason. Back to you, KB0MAI. Oh, darn, sorry."

"text": " Okay, let's see here for announcements. Announcements, announcements. Ah, the first announcement is tomorrow, Saturday, October 11th, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is the Kitsap County Amateur Radio Club Annual Ham Fest. The annual ham fest in Bremerton. You can find out all about it at kcarc.org. It's the Kitsap County Amateur Radio Club Annual Ham Fest. Tomorrow 9 to 11. You'll definitely see JR there and tugboat and hopefully Sean. I'm sure that someone's got to give Sean a ride. Y'all give Sean a ride. Help her out. Help her get to the Bremerton, help her get to Bremerton to the ham fest. Tomorrow 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Bremerton, the Kitsap County Amateur Radio Club Annual Ham Fest. Also, let's see here. Something else. Oh, tomorrow is the PSRG board meeting. So there's a PSRG board meeting at 1.30 on Zoom. Everyone can join. Everyone's welcome to join. You do have to be a member to vote. But yeah, even if you have it on in the background or even if you just, you know, even if you just watch, just look and see how many people it takes to just keep this amazing club together and just keep all the gears moving and how many people put in just hours and hours of volunteer hours in order to keep this repeater going, the club going. It really is such a wonderful, wonderful gift and I appreciate everyone's time that they put into this club. Okay, tomorrow, board meeting."

"text": " Alright Pappy, you get out of that hospital soon and get on home and have a really good meal like a good steak and a baked potato. Oh, I better shut up so you don't get hungry and you don't start drooling everywhere. Oh mercy, that'd be a real mess for the hospital staff to clean up a person's drool. Oh mercy. Oh, what did I get myself into?"
