Well good morning there Gayle, not all the others on the world wide. For instance, Joe on Las Vegas, well one of the Joe's, Joe Joe Vegas, that's what we'll call ourselves. We could have a team. Well, I went to therapy this morning, 40 miles worth of therapy and it was just a beautiful full moon ride. It was actually got down to the 60's out on some of the trails and that's really unusual for this time of the year here but very refreshing. I think it's the first time I've been out riding in a week. We've had so much wind lately but yeah, it felt good. I did some climbing, did a lot of climbing today. So very interesting about the trees and I didn't even know about those two types of trees that you just mentioned towards the end there and or those two types of trees in general and as you were talking I looked them up and I guess the you know a lot of benefits to those two trees in particular. So glad you got the Army Corps of Engineers to plan some. Very good. I'm glad you did that and thanks for the check-in. I appreciate it and you have yourself a great day. Thanks for talking about the Lorax. I forgot about that. The Lorax. I used to enjoy a lot of the Dr. Seuss and cartoons and programming when I was younger and I do watch it every so often especially around Christmas time of course the Grinch whatever but the Lorax was really good. The Lorax was really good. So glad that you explained that. So keep saving the trees brother. Anyway last but not least on the list it's already 8 30 we're gonna go to VE4YYL. Rosie. Good morning Rosie. How are you my love? How's Glenn? All that kind of good stuff and glad to hear your voice this morning. This is Repeater Station T-7-T-O-E. This is Victor Ocoffee and Uma. Yes good morning to you and good morning to Linda Lou and all the puppies that's for sure. Give them a cookie and a scratch for me and also we have to do that to KK7-T-O-E. No no KK7-C. So I gotta give him a cookie and a scratch as well and a little sip of whatever he likes to drink. So the answer to the question and good morning to the lovebirds and I don't know about Robert. He doesn't even call me Leapsing anymore. I don't know what did I do to you? I'm quite upset about that this morning so never mind. However I drink coffee yes and you know it. I drink not just one coffee I drink more and there's times I add them and I put some rum in there or Kahlua I put in there so that's my coffee and Christmas time you know what I drink then. That's when they come out with their specialty there. I can't think of the name of it right now but however that's okay. So yeah the weather is not too bad today it was quite rocky this morning. The other Joe in Las Vegas, KK7Z. Yes I did. You know, I rode two days in a row. I haven't done that in a long time. I did 38 miles yesterday, 43 today. It's just so nice. I left the house, it was 60, I don't know, 62 degrees or something. It got a little chilly out there on the trails. I didn't check the temperature off the seat, probably in the low 50s. Yesterday was down to 52 up on the upper trails there. So it felt really good. Yeah, it felt really good out there and clocked some pretty good times. And yeah, as you know now the weather has been so nice. We're in that time, as I tell people, you know, summer is so blistering hot. We tend to stay inside a lot because it reminds me of living in Pittsburgh where I grew up in the winter, January, February, where you stay inside because it's too darn cold. Well in October hits and the weather cools down like this, you know, mid 80s for highs with no humidity. It is so nice. It's time to get out and enjoy it. It's after being cooped up in the summer. It's so long. Yeah, it's really, really nice. So I'm really enjoying it there. And what else? I'm supposed to get my Jeep back today. It's been in the shop three weeks now. I think they're playing with the warranty, but you know, I mean, as far as I go, it's covered. I need that back for sure because you know, I'm heading to Pittsburgh next week and I can't park my truck in the airport parking garage. I need my Jeep. Nice and small, easy in the easy out, no problem parking it. So there you go. And otherwise, yeah, I checked the Ubers and all that guy there. It cost me more to ride that I would be to park at the airport. So anyway, that's about it for here, Joe. And we'll catch you later. I'll be here in the background. That's the other Joe, KK7C. And all for your question of the day. I'll take answer C. Back to you. This is repeater station. Well, it was answer A. Answer A. So you wrote the song. Anyway, yeah, when we met, you were talking about you dropping your Jeep off. I can't believe you still haven't gotten it back yet. That's definitely taken quite a while. And I know you mentioned about them playing with the warranty and everything and doing the extra work. So they can get the money. But it would be nice to get your vehicle back, especially since you do have to go to the airport. And the airport is kind of crazy as it is. But yeah, probably cheaper to park on your own. I'm not even sure what parking is anymore. The last one I was there, it was like, I forgot what it was for the whole day, but I paid like 10 bucks for just a couple hours. So actually, it may have even been like 10 or $20 per day for the long term parking. I'm not even positive. It's been a long time since I've been to the airport. Probably about, oh, I don't know, 15 years or so. So I'm sure it's quite more, but probably cheaper than like you said, than getting the ride. But Joe, glad you got out there bicycling two days in a row. And man, you are my idol. I will say that. You are my idol. I wish I can, well, hopefully one day maybe I can get back to doing some of the things I used to do. And I've done some of that, but I'd like to get back to the younger me and, you know, all that kind of stuff. Oh, I see. So it's about $150 for the week. Wow, I can't believe an Uber or taxi costs that much. Joe put in the text box. It's about $150 for the week, but that's about the same price if I had to Uber or taxi both ways. Wow. Yeah, prices have gone up here in Vegas, I guess. Probably everywhere, obviously. But Joe, thanks for being there, my friend. I appreciate it. And next up, we'll go to N8THJ from KT7JLE. The weather is really wonderful. Our weather today is 60 for low and 80 for high. That's why so many snowbirds come here because it's fantastic weather. On the question of the day, I do use the cell phone for primarily permitting my calendar. I have a lot of medical appointments and things that I need to get done so I get reminders like when the air purification system filter needs to be changed. I also do the GPS routing to get to points that I don't know. There are a lot of places I don't know so I use that. I also have it in my car. I have a Subaru Outback, a 2024 Subaru Outback. Goodness. I realized after a minute, wait a minute, this is getting pretty long so I'm glad I could catch it. Anyway it was great or really great to see the neck controls yesterday. So many of us who showed up that was really great and just spending some time with you before I had to duck out it for an appointment at five o'clock but it is really good and let's see what else oh yeah the meta glasses interesting small world thing and yesterday I was having a conversation with a local assistive tech outlet that works with the state about meta glasses as well as other assistive tech classes my interest in it was not vision but hearing like my colleague and I she's completely deaf I'm partially deaf and we're looking to try out to pilot some captioning glasses the captions appear in usually the right lens in front of the right in you know so the person who's using them can see the captions no one else can and just try to make those work it's early in the technology though I'm afraid and our glasses the latest model that actually provides that is $7.99. So I'm really waiting and hoping we can pilot it through this other storefront. Anyway good luck with the medical offices and if I see a deal I may shoot that over to you Missy. Who knows how many there are now. That's a good question. So there you go. All right, thanks Terry. Have a great day. Yeah, you got navigation. I was just saying that too, you know, navigation with the smartphone. Imagine, they haven't been around that long. Like I said, what, 20 years, if even? And all these things we can do with them now, it's amazing. Anyway, let's go to Bud, K5UWH. You know, I got your email when I was on vacation there, Bud. I think you knew I'd dress up to log right in there, so I appreciate that. But anyway, K5UWH from KK7's internet."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-25T21:39:37+00:00","id":46661,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":46660,"text":" Thank you, Elaine. So a little bit of chaos but after a few quick button presses I'm back. Yeah I'm short on today. I'm getting ready to go out on the quad for a ride so I wanted to make sure I jumped in and said hello before I did that. And wish everybody a good day. 73 from here on the rock. This is November 18th little hunk of jooing in Stony Springs, Ohio. I've got 70 degrees Fahrenheit. We're going to get up to about 84, 85 today. So there you go. We're still in a drought system around here to say that for us to get out of it we're going to need three months of heavy rain. So there you go. Not all at one time but often on. But other than that we're not doing much here this morning. Just sitting around, messing around, stuff like that. So other than that we're having a good day. So with that we'll say 73 everybody. Y'all take care. Stay warm. Stay dry. Stay cool. No matter where you're in the world. And please remember always wipe down the mic before you give it back to neck control. So with that there Miss Yale I'm wiping the mic down. It's coming your way from November 8th St. Hotel Juliet."}]}
