Thank you for doing the night. Good afternoon to everybody on the net. Jack, I'm feeling like a boss here for two reasons, actually. One, I just had a meeting. I just had a meeting out in the field. It was so cool. It's kind of cool with the, you know, it's like, I've got to be out on the field, Bob. I'm in a meeting. Wonders of modern technology is very cool. Anyway, we had a meeting about the vehicle replacement for my vehicle. So we were talking to the fleet's manager and then it was my boss and my great-grand-boss. And I think just for good measure in case we encountered any trouble, I think we had the great-great-grand-boss. And my boss and I ended up talking the most, I think I actually ended up talking the most with the fleets person about vehicle replacement Which actually makes sense if you think about it because you know, I'm gonna be the primary user We don't want to get a lemon for our team So yeah, I kind of excited about that. After a while your finger gets, you know, gets tired. And then the placement of the mic hole is terrible, terrible, sometimes, sometimes. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Yaesu. Anyway, enough of that. But I read online somewhere that there's a Motorola microphone that actually fits, the connector fits perfectly and the pinout is the exact same thing, which hey, good on you Yesu if you did that on purpose. So yeah, so you know, I'm in the, you know I've got my high-vis vest, I've got my clipboard, and I'm talking into a Motorola mic. I'm feeling kind of like a boss here, Jack. KV9 IQX. This is KJ7JXM Roberts and well Jack I got a full belly. I didn't get out of bed until 9 o'clock this morning. Now that is because I woke up at 5 o'clock as usual and then again at I think it was like 6.30 or something like that when Millie decided she was going to curve all over the floor. But anyway I took him outside my amazing other half here and cleaned the mess up because I got a weak stomach for stuff like that. And then I laid back down and passed back out. Next thing I remember it is 9 o'clock and I am waking up and going oh man it is late. So yeah kind of what about the little bit of morning routine. And then we went and had breakfast at the Stilly. Oh I am full and stuffed. Just left there stopped to get some fuel in the car and we are out doing a little bit of adventuring today. Getting some stuff taken care of and preparing for this weekend. I will be in the garage later this afternoon getting some stuff prepared and loaded up for the impromptu swap meet. I will be bringing a bunch of antennas. They are brand new in the package. Hustler Chunk Mount 270cm Antennas with coax. So it is a whole kit and caboodle. It is everything you need to get on the air with the radio. I think you might need to get an allen key. But for all I know some of the hustles will even come with the allen key necessary to mount the antenna. So there you go. And then I will probably bring I think I have a brand new in the box that I will bring in case anyone is looking for a 2 meter mobile rig or 270 mobile rig. And probably a handful of other things if I can think of them. So yeah just giving a shout out there. Probably bring some chunks of coax for folks that might be interested. And hopefully I can sell a handful of items this first weekend out essentially from what we did. So other than that not a whole else to report Jack. It is partially sunny cloudy skies here in Arlington. I consider it Smoky Point. Logicalistically it is Arlington now I guess. I think it is pretty dumb. But it will always be Smoky Point in my heart. And there are all different types of clouds in the sky. You can see all the different layers of clouding. So there you go. Hope everyone is having a great day. Stay happy stay healthy. And back to you my friend. This is KJ7JXM. Alright Robert hey hold on just a second just to add a little bit of context to your report about this equipment you will be selling tomorrow or offering up for sale. I believe that you will be making an appearance and hopefully with Kami out at the Lake Washington Ham Club last Rain or Shine Net being held Saturday September 27th from 9am to 1230pm at Wilmott Gateway Park in Woodinville. Great, so I have an update for you on the mic and key, their tech net, Wednesday night tech net, so they had a power outage at their repeater site, and so they went into mad dash scrambling and they called their friends over at the Bears repeater down there, and the Bears repeater which is right at the Boeing Field and Museum of Flight complex out in the back there by the B-52, they said yes indeed, go ahead and use our repeater tonight for the tech net, so yeah, I just don't think they had a chance to get that posted up on their Facebook page or their webpage, but yeah, that's what happened and they did continue on. Back to you Robert, KK7ZRY. Yeah I just, you know, polished my gold tennis trophy and said, aw shucks, it was nothing, no big deal, it was just pretty funny, but yeah, I'll wait for next week, hopefully they'll get their own repeater back up or at least tell me where I can find them so I can ask my questions. I'm beating my head against this tape measure yagi which just doesn't, it's just not performing very well and I'd like to tweak it and get it to work, maybe I'll learn something, but right now I'm not learning anything except how to bash my head against a wall.
