"text": "Hey, good morning Robert. Great to hear you this morning. I almost forgot about the fulsest parade. That is quite for anybody who hasn't gone to watch. That is quite the spectacle. We've done it a couple of times. Always enjoyed it. And yeah, hey Robert, have a wonderful weekend. You sound so busy every time we talk. I feel like you have got so many things going on. All the best to you. Remember to take care of yourself. My my station manager really wants a puzzle stick. And she's already got one. Okay, she wants another one apparently. Anyway, hey 73 Robert, have a wonderful weekend. We appreciate you as well. KJ7JXM, KJ7A. Next is Cami, KJ7RAV. Good morning, Cami. Good morning to you Teresa Dana."

"text": "Yeah, good evening Dave. Yeah, I'm actually, so home PTH is Atlanta, Georgia. I'm currently, ironically somewhere near Jim in the Carolinas. I'm on a road trip, which last time I checked into this net, on the same road trip, driving from Georgia to Virginia. But I really, Jim's check-in really kind of hit close to home because I think we were licensed pretty close at the same time with the way the call signs line up. I also in a former life was a commercial fisherman and spent a lot of time on radio and ever since I've been licensed as a ham have quite a bit of mic fright. I actually spend a lot of time on the networks over in the UK. They seem a little more forgiving for the mistakes we'll say. But everybody for the most part I've encountered on amateur radio has been very nice and forgiving and welcoming. It's been a great hobby. I really enjoy it. I just wanted to check in. I listen every week but most of the time I'm on my drive home from work and one reason or another I don't check in most of the time because I'm too nervous to push the button because I don't know what to say or what order to go in. There's always something you make up in your brain that uh that makes you makes you a little hesitant to push the DTT when you're new but yeah so I saw that as my opportunity and I really appreciate you guys running the net I guess I'd have listened every week and I really enjoy it and also a small world the United States I've been on that roller coaster in Dollywood about five or five years ago and it's one of the few that made me nervous I don't know if it was the speed or the the wooden roller coaster I'm just getting old but yeah it's it's quite a ride that's for sure so yeah thanks again for running the net and I'll turn it back to Nekatrol KR4FLS"

"text": " Robert, you sound like me, not being able to come up with words this evening. But glad to hear you're feeling better and that you were able to stay up. I know that's kind of been a new thing since you've had whatever you had, whatever you still have, that's hanging on forever like they always do, which is the worst. But that's a side point. Glad to hear you got out there. I saw your video of the flashy lights. That is pretty cool. There are some bright lights on that truck that you did. They're pretty cool that they are swapping out to work on some more. That's exciting. That's always a fun job. I feel like lights are so much fun because they're just cool when you're done. It's just fun to flash them and play with them and do all that kind of stuff. You go get some rest there, Robert. Sounds like you've been putting in quite the few hours. Yes, thanks for the happy day-diversity wishes, as we call it. It's been two years already. Hard to believe that, but they've been lots of fun. Yes, let's get together soon. Time is going so fast. I was just telling Brooks that I need to get my act together this weekend for an upcoming event, if you get what I'm talking about. We'll talk to you again soon, Robert. All right. Now over to Kami. KJ7RAB33, Kami."

"text": " Good afternoon to you Jack and everyone out there on the net. Kami here KJ7RAB. Just came back upstairs. I ran downstairs to try to afford something to eat. I don't keep a lot of stuff around because I'll eat it. Which seems like a good thing, but it's not. So I made a... I've got some cashew yogurt and I put some rocks and sticks in there, and I have some bananas so I chopped one of those up and put it in there. I'm pretty good to go on that. Just here working and lurking. I'm looking forward to the swap meet this weekend. I found some really good stuff at that swap meet in years past. I think the last time I was there I got the Heil headphones. I picked up something else smaller and then I found that light that's mounted on the back of my truck that's not wired up yet. I think Robert calls it a traffic director. It's something that a truck would put on to direct traffic one way or the other and it's intended to be used for rally. So it's got this huge control box and I think part of waiting to wire it up is we need to figure out where we're going to put that big control box. But for me, the more the better. I want loads of switches and toggles and controls even if they don't do anything. I think they're aesthetically amazing. But I have kind of an idea of where I might want to put it kind of on the side of that center console there. So hopefully we'll find some more treasure at the swap meter. Maybe hopefully not. We have a lot of treasure. But it's a good one. So if you are so inclined, please swing by and say hello. You might find some good treasure there. Thanks for hosting Jack and thanks for getting me in and radio waves to John coming up after me. Great net over on Lake Washington this morning John. KJ7RAV back to net control."

"text": " Well 33 back to Rebecca, Kami here, TJ7RAD. Let's see, we are southbound on Highway 9. We spent the day running around up in Bellingham because we both had the day off. So not only Friday night, date night, it was a date all day long and it was fantastic. It's nice to just have a day when we didn't really have anything that we had to do. Didn't have anywhere we had to be. Just kind of took the scenic route up there. We're taking the scenic route home. We were going to take Checkin' It drive back, but there was a bad accident on Checkin' It and so many aid cars. We had no idea what was going on, but we had to turn around and come back because the road was blocked. So I hope everyone was okay. It must have recently-ish happened because the folks that came up told us it would be at least a couple of hours before they opened the road back up again. And so we took a different way home. Oh, now the slides are the great. And I'll let Robert tell you more about our day, but we ended up eating at a restaurant in Fairhaven and we found a good ice cream spot for after dinner. And then tomorrow we're going to head south to do the initial meeting with the estate that we're going to be helping out with. So that should be a lot of fun too. A lot of driving this weekend, but Robert loves driving and I love hanging out with him and riding, so it's a good combination there. Thanks so much for hosting, Rebecca. It's always so good to hear your voice and I really appreciate you, all the numbers. Oh, and I look forward to hearing any information anybody has on that Westlake thing too. Amy has info and can come share that with us. KJ7RAV, back to you."

"text": " Well thank you so much Jeff for your patience and thanks for coming in to give a report and say hello. And you are correct, we are in Washington. The Repier is in Seattle as a matter of fact. We do three social nets a day on this repeater at 9 o'clock AM, 12 o'clock noon and 9 o'clock PM all Pacific time. So don't be a stranger, feel free to come back and join us for any or all of those nets. We always love to hear from new people. You take care and have a great rest of your evening. Alrighty, I think that's a wrap. Thanks to all of you for joining us on the August 5th, 2025 9 o'clock net. I'd like to thank the Puget Sound repeater group for the use of this repeater. For more information about the group, please check out our website and that is psrg.org. The PSRG has been hosting daily nets for over 30 years. The nets are a great opportunity to test your equipment. Remember, if you don't test your equipment, we can't hear you. I'll now be returning the repeater to normal operation. This is Kimmy, KJ7RAV, signing off at 10.28 PM. Goodnight and 73 everyone."
