Like, I won't just go drink a glass of milk, and when I drink, you know, like, lactation stuff is generally non-dairy, but I do like to eat, so, you know, there's that. It's weird, I know. So there you go. I'm happy to hear your voice. It's great to have you check in all the numbers, and I hope you have an amazing rest of directional weekend. Let's see. It's 12.50 p.m. I'm Kimmy, KJ7RAD. This is the new net here on the CSRJ repeater. And we have a special guest here. I'm going to hand the mic over to Kim so that he can do a proper check-in. So KJ7RAD, over to you. N7, WAA. Hi, thank you Kimmy and Robert for hosting a snow rink and oat shining event here in Snohomish. I just showed up actually late and I'm hungry and the lions are like three miles long. I might not be hungry by the time we get up to it because my body will have eaten all the fat reserves that I had and I will no longer be hungry. Yes, I still love your tire combo on this thing. I'm super excited. We're going to try to find some parts for an LC250 today. Hopefully, Laura had said, well how are we going to fill the tires back up? I don't have air compressor. And I know they're dead now for the air compressor for a dual pumper under the hood but we didn't like that price tag. So we might need to get a ramp up. Anyway, back to net. N7, what an apple! Thank you so much Ryan. I'm glad that you made it today. It's so nice to see you and Laura here. It's a fun event and I'm just happy to see you IRL. Alrighty, well it's 12.52pm and I'm going to hand it over to my amazing co-host here to do the next round. So, KJ7JXM take it away. Whoa, here is KJ7JXM. Robert. Robert. I got her to say it for me first. We're going to go ahead and throw a last call out there. It's getting a little bit late. We want to go walk around and check these rigs out and make sure we can get up over here before we approach. So, last call for the new net on the 777. PSR repeater. KJ7, Victor, Echo, Uniform, Mike. I got Mike on the list. Anyone else out there? TVA CMY recheck. Got Mike with the recheck. Anyone else? The first question is, are you taking the popcorn ceiling down yourself? Are you having someone do that? And what is the method that they use to do that? When I tried taking popcorn down, what I did was, it was super messy, but I just sprayed it and then it kind of fell off. Is that the method that they're using? And then with the Seahawks team, where are you going to sit? Do you have the seats or do you have the seats that you have to climb forever to get to? Back to you, K9 ABC. Okay, let's see. So, first question, popcorn ceiling. No, we're paying someone to take the popcorn ceiling down. It's the same gentleman who took down the popcorn ceiling in the rest of our house, and he was very reasonably priced. And what he did was pull up the plastic and it looked like the Dexter show, and he put on an all-white plastic suit and a respirator, sprayed it with some water, let it kind of soak, and then scraped it off. And then he went through and he filled any of the divots or most spots and painted it. So that's what we're going to expect in here. But this, my office, everything's going to be out. So there will be nothing in here, so it should be pretty easy to do comparatively. As far as the Seahawks game goes, let's see, section 129? So I think those are pretty decent seats. I don't know, I didn't actually look at where they are. I just pulled up my old thing here. Wherever section 129 is, is where I'll be. So, thanks K9 ABC. Okay, I'm thinking section 129 is pretty good because that would be the 100 level. I don't know where 129 is inside the stadium. I'll have to look at that on the map, but wow, that should be a lot of fun. I can't wait to hear about that. And yeah, it sounds like your person that's doing the popcorn, I did a similar method, although your person is probably a lot more professional and does a way better job. My popcorn removal was pretty barbaric. And then I also found, discovered when I got into the project that the popcorn had been painted over, and that makes it infinitely harder to get down. So, yeah, it took a very long time and it was really messy, and it was hard to do by myself, especially given that it was painted over. So, I've seen the previous stuff that your person did and it was really nicely done. So, I'm sure that will be fantastic when you get that all taken down. Maybe we'll get the number from your popcorn person because we've got a little bit of popcorn here, and I'm not that crazy about it. So, thanks for that, and I'll look forward to hearing about your experience at the game. Next up, we have Megan, K9 MLR. How are you doing, Megan? Good evening to you, Kami and everyone out there on the night. K9 MLR Megan here at home in the new castle. Good evening to you, Kami and all the other YLs out there. I am doing pretty well. I'm looking around at his office, Kami, and this time I'm going to meet Mark and paint the trim before he comes to paint. So, I'm looking around at the walls that need to be washed down quickly so that we don't get anything under the paint, you know what I mean. But then the little bit of trim that needs to be painted in here compared to the trim that was painted out in the other rooms was daunting of a project. And we're going to have a paint color picked out. I got that this week already. So, making strides towards it. It's a big project even though it seems like a little project, but we will get it done nevertheless. And working on sending out wedding announcements. That has been racking my brain all day, Kami. I think of people to send it to and then I walk away doing something else. I need to know how that goes. That's what I've been up to. Thank you for doing the night, Kami. Great to hear you. On a Tuesday night, 73 is everyone. K9 MLR. Well, it's always great to hear from you, Megan. And isn't that the case? You know, a lot of the time it seems like, you know, it's not that big of a project and as soon as you get into it, it's like, oh, that's a lot more than I thought it was going to be. But I know that it's going to be absolutely worth it and it's going to look fantastic. I can't wait to see the finished product. And yeah, it'll be great. It definitely reminds me, I still haven't painted the office upstairs. I got it all taped off and I got the walls cleaned and everything and I had the color picked out. And yeah, I just got busy and haven't done it yet. So, I still have that on the job. I really want to get it done before it's turned cold as well because I'm really not going to feel like doing it when it's cold up there. So, that's a good reminder for me. 33 to you, Megan, all the numbers. I look forward to seeing you both at the Ice Cream So-So. And yeah, have a great rest of your evening. Alrighty, that's the end of that group of check-ins. It's 9.33 p.m. I'm Tammy, KJ7RAD. I'm filling in for Paul on the 9 o'clock net. I'm going to reset because I looked up the Pyrex sign. So, according to the AI, the Pyrex with the lower case letters refers to soda lime glass versions of the cookware made by World Kitchen. If it's all in upper case, then it indicates the Pyrex is older. It's borosilicate glass made by Corning. The difference is the age of the Pyrex and the type of glass that's used. With the lower case Pyrex, the glass is more pruned. It's shattering due to thermal shock. That's according to the interwebs. So, there you go. There is a difference in the glass. You can see it when you're looking at the clear glass. You can see it in the color of the glass. So, there you have it. Upper case versus lower case. So, the upper case is the older Pyrex. So, with that, we're ready to build a new list of check-ins. If you'd like to give a report or an I.O., all I need is your name and call sign. Go ahead now. QOQ07, Quebec Echo Sierra, Justin. Good evening, Justin. I've got you on the list. Next station, please. QOQ06, Romeo Alp, X-ray, Peter, Ivo, Mike, KJ7, VEU, Michael. Okay. I got all three of you. I got KJ7, June. I got Peter, and then I got Mike, KJ7, VEU. Next station, please. It started out a little slow this morning with some clouds. And for that, I'm thankful. I took a break to go to the post office and pick up some coffee. And on the way, I saw the Allied Motorsports Bobcat trolling around Arlington. I don't think they saw me. I was standing on the side of the street, frantically waving. But I don't think they saw me, but I got a picture of the wild bobcat roaming around Arlington. And it's called a bobcat because it's the Jeep Gladiator with a Hellcat. I think it's a Hellcat engine. But it's a bobcat because they bobbed the bed of the truck. So hence the mean bobcat. Anyway, so I took a picture of that. I'm going to have to go post it to their website and say that I saw them creeping around my town. What else? Yeah, just here working and lurking, doing my thing, looking forward to the long weekend. I took Friday off, so I have an extra long weekend. Word on the street is that we're going to try to go down and meet with the estate on Friday, maybe, or sometime over the weekend to make the initial assessment to see what's going on there. Tammy here, KJ7RAD and radio wave to you, Vassa Boo. Jack, I started the morning off in a panic because it seems like every time I undock my computer, things go haywire and I undocked it last night because I was doing some work downstairs while I was sitting on the couch and I left it downstairs plugged in and then brought it upstairs this morning and docked it and one of my monitors wasn't working and the keyboard was doing weird things. So I panicked because I had only a few minutes left before I had to be on a video meeting and so poor Robert, he was going to sleep in today until I went down there in a panic and made him get up and troubleshoot my issues. And what he found was the cable for the dual monitor, the left side monitor evidently failed. But it seems like an odd time for it to have failed right when I undocked and tried to redock it. So we borrowed a cable from another setup and things are working so far but now I'm afraid to undock my computer because I just don't know what other horrible things are going to happen if I do that. So I guess I'm just going to leave it docked forever. So that's my story today. Thanks for hosting and thanks for getting me in here at the end of the net. At least every five minutes, I'm getting a call or a text message from somebody. I can't live like this, Jack. It's too much. That's my week this week, is trying to avoid those calls and text messages. They haven't even slowed down after getting myself on the list, so I'm hoping it does slow down soon. Otherwise, I might have to, I don't want to change my number. I like my number. I've had it for a long time, but that's where I'm at. If you have any good advice, let me know. Thanks for hosting, and thanks for getting me in. Radio waves to you. Just very juvenile. It's great to hear from you. I heard you say you contracted something too, and I hope that you feel better soon, if that's the case. I'm finally on the upswing and getting over this. It's hung on for way too long, and I'm over it. Thanks for hosting, Jack, and thanks for getting me in. KJ7RAD, back to you."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-10-22T09:34:12+00:00","id":66572,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":66571,"text":" Well, good morning Dave and everybody out there today. Yeah, I've been listening to the net since we started and we two are still trying to restock the larva after being gone for six months. It's not much in the house. So we made one big grocery run and just as we were eating breakfast, Jane said, add butter to the list. So, you know, we'll just keep adding to the list of things that we're out of. We have 48 degrees here in South Bellevue right now. The sun is out. We have like rich, hard shadows. And I hope we're going to get out and take a walk here before it starts raining later this afternoon. And other than that, let's see, tomorrow we have to make a run to the hospital to get a blood draw for Jane's upcoming doctor appointment. So we'll probably do that early in the morning. So fasting blood draw and then hit some place for breakfast. Either the, I can't remember the name of it now, but the nice place that we like in the Eastgate or maybe Chase's Pancake House. I don't know. We've got to figure that out where we're going to go to breakfast tomorrow after the blood draw. So we might miss the net tomorrow morning. But, you know, the times that we've done this, it's always timed it just about right that we're on the way home during the net so we can check in from the car. So anyway, that's all we got going here. Just trying to get a bunch of stuff organized and everything. Looking forward to seeing everybody on Saturday at the Rainershine. It's definitely going to be the rain net, I believe, on Saturday as Bill said earlier. So we've got the Gore-Tex out and the warm clothes. So we'll see everybody then. So that's all we got from here. We'll see you tonight on the ZumbaQ. And we'll get the full story on the NASCAR event. I did not hear that earlier. So we'll just wait until tonight and get the whole story there, Dave. 7th teams, everybody. This is Jim and Jane in South Bellevue. Cami here, KJ7RAD. I am discombobulated today. It has just been a morning. It's not a bad thing. I'm having a fine morning. It's just discombobulated is the best way I can describe it. When I keyed up to get on your list earlier, I was driving on the freeway trying to follow Robert. He's in the U-Haul that we rented to pick up the gear. I dropped the phone. I'm trying to stay in the correct lane. I'm not doing a very good job of it. So yeah, there's that. But now we're on a slow surface street so I can drive and talk on the radio at the same time, sort of. Bad things tend to happen when I do that, so I'll keep it short. We're almost to our destination. We've got the truck. We're going to get the gear loaded up. And then Robert and I are staying in Gig Harbor tonight to make sure we have another day if needed to get any additional gear loaded up. Jack is here. He's going to help us out today. Thank you, Jack, so much. And then yeah, we'll just see what happens. In other news, I cut all my hair off. So there you go. Thanks for hosting. Happy Friday. All the numbers. TJ says we're on our A-B. Not a lot going on today. Just dropped my kit off at school and enjoying doing that while I'm on leave for the last couple of weeks. Using my second week off here to relax after moving across the county here. I just moved over to Seabec from Polsboro. Using my second week here to unpack. Just made a brief stop to get some ethanol free gas after I dropped her off from school and now I'm running over to Harbor Freight to get a 30 amp cable for the generator that I have being delivered today. So I'm pretty excited to give that a break and run and then have that ready to go. Because out there power outages are pretty frequent, especially over here on the Kits app and that's why we seem to have a lot of power outages at least in the nearly 15 years I've lived here. So I'm looking forward to messing around with you. But not a whole lot else going on today. Nice day for sure. Nicer than it has been the last couple of days. Although the cool weather has been great for moving and unpacking and detrashing and cleaning and all the things that go with moving. So hard to complain too much. Falls here but without the waterworks that often accompany it here in the pack norwest so I'm not going to complain one bit. Thanks for the shout out there Jack. I appreciate it and I'll check out that slow scan television thing that you were talking about. I've actually done the, my wife, or not my wife, my daughter and I have done the ARIS stuff with the space station and downloaded quite a few images even just using a vertical antenna in my 991 and we've had a lot of fun with that so I'll definitely give that a look. Hope you all have a great day and I'll send it back to net 73.
