Pretty excited about today. It's going to be a whole lot of fun. I've got some secret ideas of mine too because I've got a little bit of photo shoot that I need to do on Cammie's rig. I've done a whole bunch of little goodies to it. So pretty excited about that. I guess some of the goodies are pretty big. 30 inch light bars are pretty big. Anyway, I'm having a healthy rock and roll. It is beautiful out so far. It is a mild 69 degrees on the dashboard. But it is beautiful so far. Are you trying to put me on blast or something, or what? Um, well, Cammy's got her FK, I have the two Jeeps, and I also have a Honda CRV as well, but I wear my shoes and my CRV, because it's just a gas getter, so it gets better mileage than all three of our vehicles combined, when I drive it properly, I guess, and don't have the lead foot. I looked at Cammy when I said that, because I wear the lead foot a little bit, don't tell her though. Yeah, and everything I have has lights on it, so I'm afraid of the dark, that's the way I like to put it, so I gotta be able to see clearly when it's dark out. So yeah, all my Jeeps have lights on them, they've all got, I've got Vision X on everything, I'm a big Vision X fan. They make a great product, lifetime warranty, I get no kickbacks from saying that, unless you buy the lights from me, then I make a little bit of dollars, but no, it's a great product, I love their stuff, it lasts forever, it's got a fantastic warranty, and it's got really good output, so it's one of those things where you very much get what you pay for. It's not an innocent product, but it forms flawlessly in all aspects. But yeah, we got a lot of vehicles here, we've got four vehicles, Kami's got two bikes, and then we've got the trailers, so we're a little mini car lot, just don't tell anybody, especially the, well the neighbors have okayed it, they told me to start parking on the yard and start getting more vehicles, so I guess I gotta set my game up according to the neighbors but yeah, happy, healthy, rock and roll, it was a fantastic day seeing all the Lyman Hill folks, very much looking forward to this weekend to see all the rest of our PSRT folks, which reminds me, I need to get some stuff to make our treat that we're bringing, and then I'm extremely nervous because Monday I gotta go to work. Yeah, I got a new job Thursday, and I start Monday, so I'm excited and nervous all the same time, yes, I am still doing my business, I am still gonna get that off the ground, I have all my ducks in a row for that, but just need to get some clientele built up so that I can then quit my day job, yeah, but I have a day job again, so I'm excited and nervous at the same time, I'm hoping to learn some extra tasks and some new abilities that I don't currently have, so yeah, there you go, I know that alligator's coming at me because I talk for a long time when I'm excited, and I am very much excited today."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-07-12T09:08:40+00:00","id":6065,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":6064,"text":" Hey, good morning, Andrew. You know, I just... I mean, you know, it turns out a juvenile... Rob American Rabbit sounds a lot like a juvenile song girl, or a juvenile, uh, junko, dark-eyed junko, or... Yeah, it's, uh... Yeah, like... And, oh yeah, Bardall sounds like a long, open-willed night, and then it swings up at the end of it. I found that on the, uh, uh, Berlin website. Just kind of went through the calls for Bardall and found that. American Robin that just kind of identified it in a Canada goose. I heard, I don't know, I haven't heard a goose here ever. And I've only heard and seen a heron, and there's a Blue Heron Rookery, largest in the state, right here, about half a mile, quarter mile long from me. And yet, I've only seen a pair and heard them overhead once. They fly about a half a block apart, or a short block apart, and honk at each other, alternating. Felt like a goose on Drano. Anyways, back to the net, and birds are fun and interesting, and we'll talk more later. GZ 7VU. Good night, y'all. Good night, Mike. And, um, yes, we had a Bardall. Our camp in the Upper Peninsula was within a certain Bardall range, and I did a great recording of them. I called out to it, and it got very territorial, and very frighteningly, honing back at me. And I got it in high-fidelity stereo. At 320 kilobits per second, field recording. And, uh, but I have no idea where that recording is. I hope I haven't lost it. And, uh, my favorite Upper Peninsula bird sound are the downhill cranes. They sound like dinosaurs. Anyway, at least in my limited understanding of reality, it seems to me that's what dinosaurs would sound like. Alright, so I'm going to read some announcements that are custom-made for me every week by Jack right here at Saturday, July 26th. Radio Club of Tacoma hosts their open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Club members and their guests, hams, and all visitors interested in amateur radio. Uh, it's good, folks. I've been to, uh, one or two of them, and they're really nice get-togethers. Also Saturday, 26th, PSRG Annual Picnic at Magnolia Park. The sign-up sheet is live at PSRG.org. I'm looking at a message that just crossed Saturday. Also July 26th, a Simplex net, which is now at 146.56 MHz, um, is at 20 hours on Saturday. So be there or be square. PSRG Season 7 Episode 4 and 5 Rain or Shine Noon net at Ice Cream Social Sunday, August 10th. And that is going to be the east side of Green Lake, just north of the paddle boat rentals and Green Lake Cafe concession stand. It'll be hosted as a new net by Kami, KJ7RAB, and Robert, Robert, KJ7JXM, and stop by the net tables and pick up your ice cream ticket. Yes, that's right. Everyone will be able to get a complimentary ice cream. Redeem your ticket at the Green Lake Cafe concession stand across from the paddle boats. Come back and hang out with your ham friends, walk around Green Lake, take a bike ride or rent a boat. Ham's in 3D and ice cream. What to bring? A folding chair, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc. The call-in frequency will be the old double nickel, frequency 146.55. So thank you, my friend. Very much appreciate you and everything you do, and hope everyone is having a fantastic Saturday evening. This is KJ7JXM, clear. Back to you, my friend. Very good. Sorry, Robert, that was probably my fault. I guess I did not listen for your call. I will be more attentive. Anyway, there is a pass, an ISS pass, in four minutes, 63 degrees maximum height, so hop out there and actually bring your HD with you so you can continue on the net and go watch it go over. I wish I could do that, but I'm gonna delude into my seat here with your earphones and everything so I can hear everybody. As well as I can hear anything, which isn't too good sometimes. You're listening to the 9 p.m. PSIG SocialNet. My name is Bill, K7WFB, and time's marching on, but maybe there's a few more people who wanna join us, so let's give them the opportunity in this, I don't know, let's call it round four, I think, something like that. Come ahead now if you wanna talk to us. Call, sign, and name, please. EX2CW, what time is the ISS going on? Chris and Kenmore. Chris and Kenmore, let me acknowledge you first and let me answer Joan's question. The time is 10.15, and it comes up from the horizon in the west-northwest, disappears in the east. There you go, Joan. I don't know if you want to, did you wanna check in, did you wanna report also after the ISS, Joan? Yeah, I'll just check back in for now, my own. Take care, everybody, K7W. Okay, Joan, you can come around again. Let's go over to Chris and Kenmore. Come ahead, Chris. Hey, thank you very much for having me. I just went out and filled up my truck with gas, about $100, I recommend you don't drive a turbocharged V8 if you don't wanna pay that much. Actually, I do not know about the ISS pass. I'm getting close to a parking lot. I might pull over and see if I can spot it. I don't have anything with me that could receive the SS TV, though. And then to Robert's point, I have been always very pleased with Diode Dynamics, but I'm going to look up Mission X tonight and see if that's anything enticing. That's all the thoughts that are going through my head right now, KK7PZU. KK7PZU, I think you said. Thank you, Chris. Yeah, I think, the turbo, you and Robert and Kami ought to go in together on a nice oil well investment, I think is what you guys need. By the way, for anyone who is watching the ISS and has a HT, you can hear there is a repeater on that thing that is very easy to hear if you don't wanna bother with the SS TV. I am blanking on the frequency. It's UHF 440 something point eight, but I don't remember. Does anybody have that frequency handy? I'm not sure what happened there, but your signal was barely, barely hitting the Capital Park Master, and we literally heard probably the cumulative total of half a second of, I could hear your voice just barely blipping in like three different times. Other than that, we did not catch any of your report. So let me just right away see if you dumped power or see if there's something you can change in your situation and see if I can get you to do a quick test real quick. KA9EHV, please come back if you can. This is KA9EHV, is this better? You might end a different, you're lighting up the voter scope in bright green. So okay, so I will just say this, can you repeat everything you just said? Because we literally got zero percent. So Anne, please give us a report. Okay, I stand humiliated. This is KA9EHV, what I said is I went to a harp circle today and it was great fun, there were lots of neat people and neat harps there, and people played a lot of interesting repertoire. It wasn't like the last circle where everybody else played beautiful Celtic, very ornamented stuff. And I came in with It's Too Late by Carole King and Cats of the Cradle by Harry Chapin. This time people played everything from Broadway show tunes to some popular stuff and it was really nice. And so I ended up playing Yeasen Joann of Man's Desiring, my Beethoven mashup, and hang on a second. Okay, I'm still in there. My Beethoven mashup is a little bit different. My Beethoven mashup and my When You Walk Through a Storm from Carousel. So it was fun and I got to show off my cute little harp to people and prove that small harps are small but mighty and that was fine. Had to miss church, but apparently according to my husband I didn't miss much, so that's fine also. Anyway, that's about it for now. 73, 33, 88 to all of you. This is, I love you all and thanks, Brian, to you for doing the net. This is KA9H, be back to net. Good stuff and good signal there. So it sounds like maybe you bumped the power or something was going on there. All right, well very glad that you're okay as you're able to come in and give a lovely report there. So it sounds fun with that harp circle, Broadway tunes and pop music, that sounds fantastic. And then you with your Izu and your Beethoven mashup and small but mighty I wrote down. And then I wrote the quote from your husband, didn't miss much. All right, I just chuckled at that. All right, anyway, it sounds like a great day and thank you for sharing. We'll catch you down the log there, Ann. All right, that was the bottom of the list there. I am Brian, KE7KZH. This is the 9 o'clock net on the PSRG repeater in Seattle, Washington. Let's open this up to all stations. I will acknowledge each station one at a time. So if you hear someone else giving their call sign, please, please wait for me to acknowledge them. Otherwise I may double with you. And then that just wastes everyone's time. So all right, that's it. All stations, please come now. Call sign and first name. 7L, your family experience will go double for you, Mike. Robert with... ...Juliet 7, Romeo Alpha Bravo, hey! All right, I think I may have actually had a triple there, but I did get W7LCO, Josh, Willco. I also got KJ7JXM, Robert, and KJ7RAB, Kimmy. Now let me just check, was there a third station, or fourth, if you say, was there another station in that mix that I did not acknowledge? Yeah, probably me, I might have been in that pileup. Wolf. All right, I heard a K, and then I heard Sean, KJ7EXM. Sean Wolf. Who was the other K station that keyed up? KJ7, with Lueckenia, Matt, Liven, RF, All-Star Note 6222, located in Shelton, Washington. Matt is back in RF land. I love it, KJ7WQI. All right, good stuff. All right, so I actually have you right before Sean, because I did hear your key up first there, and I already wrote a K. All right, so let's see who else is out, who would like to get in on this round. Please come now, call sign and first name. Kilo Alpha, Joseph Romeo Alpha, Cody, your IO. All right, KE6RAX, Peter, I've got your IO. Cody, just wanted to double check, Alpha, Golf 7, Lima, Rodeo, did you say IO, or do you have a report tonight? I am IO, KJ7LR. Hey, good stuff. Remember, there's a double, I try to confirm. Every time I don't confirm that, it bites me. All right, good stuff, Cody. We'll catch you down the log, and thanks for stopping by, Peter, KK6RAX. Um, happy healthy rock and roll and I am in the process of getting everything ready for our cobbler tomorrow. Um, well, I'm going to cook it tonight but it'll be ready for tomorrow. Um, I think it's tomorrow. Yeah. Just stick to it tomorrow. I think it's tomorrow. Whatever. If it is, I'll be there. If it's not, then I won't. So, hi hi. Um, I'm currently at home today waiting for a customer to drop a vehicle off so I can do some diagnostics and hopefully get the repair done. And then, um, I need to, uh, what was the other thing I need to do? Well, I need to do some stuff for my job, like AOB, because not only am I doing a self-employment thing, I'm also working a whole 40 hour a week job. So, yeah, I got my place full for sure. Uh, but my first week at work was quite incredible. The first three days I thought for sure I was going to die. I didn't know if I was going to make it through the fourth day. And the fourth day they finally put me on what my skill set really is, wiring. And the funny part with that is I did the first job so quick that he looked at me and said, you're done already? Uh, okay, well I found your strong point. And that gave me a second job to do. It took him about an hour to figure out what the second job was. And they weren't prepared for it yet. Um, so, unfortunately instead of sending me home early with the half a day, they found another job for me to do. And, uh, I got started on it and he came over to me and he goes, don't, don't repeat this, but, um, before that, let this take you a while. Because I don't have any more work to do, except get home early. So, I took him an hour early because I had to push him as long as I possibly could. But, uh, I brought the service body truck for a dump bed and strobe lights. So, I got that done pretty quick. And, um, not as quick as I could have done it. But, I'm so used to working fast because the more jobs I get through, the more money I would make. So, um, but, uh, you know, quality is everything and, uh, learning a lot of tricks about some of the fabrication. And, and as Cami has already told everyone, I learned a hard lesson about welding. Um, make sure you wear hand protection. Um, my arms are protected, but I still have to wear gloves. So, my one hand still looks like, um, uh, I'm a red-blooded American. Yeah, there you go. There you go. Anyway, uh, thanks so much to my friend. I very much appreciate you. We'll be compiling lists of stations that would like to check in, and then we'll ask for your report. If you'd like to check in only, just let me know that you can be in and out. Please submit your reports to three minutes. You can get as many stations in as possible. Three minutes is all for when the repeater times out. When you're finished with your report, please end with your call sign and see what I know that you're done. Again, this is Rebecca, KK7, IJZ. Let's get this net started. Please come ahead with your call sign and name, all on the internet. Now we're going off the grid. I have Anne, 33-anne, KA9, EHC. I have an IO from Boston Nova Bill, 88-Bill, and Z tomorrow. And I have the dynamic duo, KJ7, JXM, Robert, and KJ7, RAB, Carrie. All right. I'm going to go ahead and draw a line there. That's a good place to start and go back to the top with Doug, who's out there chopping wood and fishing, just practicing to enter the TV show alone. The node had the ID. It always does that when it's my turn to check in or anyway, yeah, there you go. I got in on RF because I ran inside to make sure we could get into this first round because we are outside enjoying our beautiful yard. Got the smoker going with some peach cobblers on there. Oh my goodness. They look phenomenal. It's a new recipe, so I hope it came out OK. I hope everyone's happy with it tomorrow. But they look really, really good. And my sous chef did an amazing job prepping everything for me as I came out and got the smoker cleaned up and ready to rock and roll because it's been quite a while since I fired this guy off last time. So I got everything replaced. Got the hot rods replaced in it so that I could start it normally without having to use a torch. But yeah, it's been a fantastic evening. We've been sitting here in the backyard with the smoker going, enjoying some drinks and some beautiful environment and skies. Rebecca, the sky is the most beautiful blue right now with just the ever hint of a cloud out there, just a wisp of cloud. And it's one wispy cloud is all I see out there. So yeah, it's a great evening. Got the party lights on in the yard here, and it is just fantastic. The only thing that would make this evening better is a proper deck and some green grass. But hey, the grass is always greener on the other side because they use fake grass. That's the story, and I'm sticking to it. Anyway, thanks for doing what you do, my friend. Very much appreciate you. And I've got so much more to share, but I don't want to take up more than my three minutes. And I'm already talking probably long enough. So there you go. Thank you again for being my friend. Thank you for doing what you do. And very much look forward to seeing you tomorrow. This is KJ7KXM. Clear. We might have to make that trip. I don't know if we have enough time to maybe do that, but we might have to make enough time. So yeah, the more we talk about it, the hungrier I'm getting. Anyway, that concludes my list. I'm going to hand it over to my other hat here. She can write another list. This is KJ7JXM handing it over to KJ7RAB."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-07-26T13:34:02+00:00","id":10640,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":10639,"text":" Okay, okay, okay. Here is KJ7JXM Robert. And, uh, yeah, we decided to just use the neck controls radio there. Hi, hi. Um, and I'm standing right next to the antenna, which is probably the best possible place to put my noggin. Um, but, uh, yeah. We're here at the picnic having a great time. I have eaten way too much food and my belly is stuffed and that's why I didn't want to get out of my chair. But, um, I decided to run over here so that everyone else can hear how excited this is and how much fun we're having out here today. So, uh, John, we're sad to see you're not making my friend. Um, I know, um, Mike at the N7GRH has your, uh, canopy filled so I think he was hoping to get it to you. Uh, so let us know if there's anything we can do to help with that potentially. Um, but yeah, just a happy, happy, happy, healthy Rock and Rollin' and enjoying seeing everyone in real life. And, uh, oh yeah, there's quite the turnout and so much darn food. Uh, I want to eat more because it's so delicious, but, yeah, if I eat more they're going to have to roll me out of this park and it's uphill. So, that won't work out very well. Anyway, thanks, Kirk, for what you do. Very much appreciate you, my friends, and hope you have a great rest of your day. This is JJ7JXM. Click. So, thank you Robert. And thank you for your patience and for her, yeah, anyway, sorry. I was choking on a cracker, that's why I handed the mic to Robert to address that when you asked about it. So, there you go. Do you mind going on here in the background? Yes, I do love blueberries and I was quickly thinking in my mind, okay, with all of this stuff that I have to do today, how could we make it over there? But I don't think it's doable for us today, but I will definitely keep that in mind. Blueberries are one of my very favorites and somebody brought a container of them yesterday and I had quite a few of them toward the end of the picnic there. So, whoever brought those blueberries, thank you, they were incredible. And thank you, Dan, for stopping by to check in. It's always great to hear your voice and I hope you have a fantastic rest of your weekend, all the numbers to you. That is the end of my group of check-ins, it's also the last line on the page. So, I'm going to turn the page here and I'm going to hand it over to my amazing co-host, so the next let's keep shaking his head, but you know what? It's your turn, so I'm going to hand you the mic. PJ7RADO52, PJ7JXM, take it away. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7 November, Quebec November. Well, I guess I'll do another round of opening and then she'll do one. This is KJ7JXM, Robert, and this is the new net on the WW7PSR repeaters here in the Puget Sound. So, yeah, let's see if we can get some more call-finds. Naming call-find, please. Malmo, Chicata, the porgos and margaritas, the fantastic date we had at the little Mexican restaurant. And, yeah, by the way, the company probably now begins to think someone's outside. So, like, if a dog is like three foot tall and he's a hundred pounds or something, maybe four foot tall, six hundred pounds, I don't know, go ahead. Definitely bigger than she is. And, yeah, today was the stealth employment work day. I got a... somebody might drop his jeep off last night and I got up this morning and there were some main pillar lights on it and I got them all wired up to a switch panel that he dropped off today. And they came out pretty good. I'm not impressed with the way the lights fit on the mount because you can adjust them so they are straightforward only. They will not be the size, but for what he paid, he is very happy and his jeep is not mine, so it doesn't bother me. It's a hunting so this is for going out hunting, so we can put him in the back with the brand new carpeting that he's got. That's the name of the connection though, if it's in that shop, probably no. But nevertheless, he is a happy customer. He is a return customer, so excited about that. And then another good company, K&E Services, dropped another truck off today so I could do some diagnostics and repair on that. And that was pretty quick. Moving forward, the power of the lights up, there was a blow off to use, so I bypassed that with my tester. And realized one of the lights wasn't blinking and fell behind it and kept what the wires were cutting. So, that was pretty straightforward. Got a new light boarded up for it a senior Monday. And then now having that swapped in the next week so that when that client returns from vacation they can pick their truck up. And that's another C.A. truck so far this year, so that's a fantastic start to the year. Other than that, I know there's so much more I wanted to report on, but I can't think about it. We're going to go to the snow good tomorrow. I think they're doing a wink from mom tomorrow, which will be bittersweet because I've seen some of that family for a while. And I've got some bones to pick with some of those family members, but it'll be a good time anyway. Nonetheless, I'm going to meet you. I've been invited the day before instead of the day after. And then, yeah, Sunday I think we're going to try to do a remote test from the field of wheels. And it's the Homage, which is put on by a fellow friend, Sean, now likes performance. They're one of the main contributors to that, so yeah, pretty excited for the weekend ahead. The work, the full-time job, Monday through Thursday is going pretty good. I might have to try to break that down to three days a week, four days a week, and then we'll set a white belt for time and facility. So I'm going to start the term up pretty quick. So again, that's all I got. Thanks, Rebecca, for doing what you do. Very much appreciate you. And it's been fun. You get to be a renege. I vote for Pete Bonney because that's all I do is be a good time. Without President is pretty or Donny, I guess. Just kidding. Anyway, thanks, George, to you, my friend. Very much appreciate you and I won't keep political. This is KJ7JXM, clear? Whatever could that be? Thank you, Cami. We have you and Robert on the list, and that completes a nice full round. Let's go right back up to the top and talk to K0 CMT. Come ahead. Good evening, Bill and everyone. I meant for this to be an I.O. check-in with my friend here who is sitting in a car on mobile, whose call sign is KK7 CSG. I'll tell you a little bit about my day. We went to Gasworks Park and we stumbled upon a classical piano, a live classical piano event called In the Landscape. It was the 10th anniversary season. We were intrigued by it because we saw the antenna in the distance. Of course, we saw the piano, but we just thought, Oh, well, maybe someone brought a piano to Gasworks and just wanted to start playing. But we saw the antenna in the distance and as we got closer, we kept seeing so many people with headphones. Then we just went up and started talking and we got a free set of headphones to listen to the live performance. It was really, really impressive. It was the first time we had ever seen anything like that. I'm going to see if Ryan here wants to say anything. I got it. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November Quebec November. I got nothing here to say for me. This is KK7 CSG, but I'm also here with K0 CMT. Do you want to hand it back to the net, Colin? Yeah, I'm going to hand it back to the net. I hope everyone has a wonderful evening. Both here on Capitol Hill. KK7? 73, K0 CMT. K0 CMT and KK7 CSG, this is K7 WFP. Colin, that is fascinating. In The Landscape, it's a series that's been going in, I think you said 10 years. That's fascinating. I get the drift that it's outside, but they get the audio to you really nicely through some kind of radio system. What's going on? Is it Bluetooth or how does that gizmo work? You know, it's definitely not Bluetooth. I don't know exactly, but it was a RF antenna. I don't know what frequency they were transmitting. We wanted to ask someone, but everyone was busy. It was spread out a couple hundred feet, so everyone was able to just walk around with their headphones and sit wherever they wanted comfortably at Cast Works and listen to the live piano performance. Gosh, the sound was wonderful. We just laid on the hillside and looking up at the bright, wonderful sky. It was a super peaceful time just sitting there. Back to you, Bill. K0 CMT. Well, guys, that is fascinating. I'm thinking about it. It must be that kind of FM, short distance FM like they use for mic'ing performance in theaters, I suppose. We have so many good audio people on this net, I bet somebody can fill us in. But I have to check that out. That is really cool. I've never heard about it. I've learned two really cool things tonight. This and the wind system. Very cool. All right, let's move ahead to Magoo over where you are. KK7 ZTZTJ. Come ahead."}]}
