So, we have a lot of I.O.'s at the end of the list. But first, let's head up for a recheck from 4GINYF from the Philippines. Come ahead with your recheck. Thank you very much, Tammy. Kilo G7 will be around for Bravo. This is 4G1 and YGINYF coming back for the recheck. We're all talking about ice cream a lot and the ice cream social that we're going to have. Let me share my favorite flavor. I am a chocolate flavored kind of ice cream dude. But I also try some ice cream, double dutch and lots of cookies and cream. Sorry that much. I maybe want to go to a convenience store to buy one right now. Especially, it's already 10 in the evening there. It's quite humid in here. Here in my country, the Philippines, it is overcast. Sometimes this kind of weather makes me quite want all of those chilling effects. All the ice cream flavors that everybody has been mentioning. Let me ask you something. Yeah, of course, you don't mind. Does the ice cream social also can be heard on the repeater and digital loads? That in case overseas stations like mine could be able to come up? Yes. So, actually, me and my partner in crime here, Robert, KJ7JX, we will be hosting a net during the ice cream social. We usually host on Sunday at noon. So, you'll be able to check in on that net if you're available. So, the wrong way to answer your question is yes. So, back to you. Thank you very much for the... I'm a... That's it for me. I'll send it back to control for G1-NYS. My name is Steven for G1-NYS. Sending it back to you. Well, thank you for the recheck and we'll look forward to hearing from you during live in social net. If you're able to swing by and I agree with you on those flavors of ice cream. That sounds really, really good. I like to try other flavors too. Like, there was one that was a lavender honey that was really good. And then when I was down in Oregon, I had a charcoal ice cream. It was black like charcoal but it tasted a little bit sweet. Almost maybe like a lemony kind of flavor. And I think that that was a flavor that was added in but it was pretty good as well. So, I do like to try those more unconventional flavors sometimes. But, chocolate is generally my go to. Chocolate in any flavor or any form. So there you go. You have a great rest of your night. So, closing us out is going to be the Hero Fox Truck Zero Uniform Station. But stand by because I wanted to acknowledge the I.O.'s. And then I'm going to come back to you and you're going to close us out. So, we had an I.O. from Sebastian. We had an I.O. from Brian. We had an I.O. from John. And thank you all for stopping by to give your I.O.'s. And now I'm going to come back and give it to the Hero Fox Truck Zero Uniform Station. I know I probably got your callsign really, really wrong. But you can correct me when you come ahead now to give your report and close us out on the net tonight. How are you? Good evening there, Tammy. This is KF Zero ULU Kilo Fox Truck Zero Uniform Lima Zero. My name is Jeff Juliet, Echo Fox Truck down here in Missouri. I was actually trying to reach up there to the people up there in Alaska on the KEL 5E1 net. You know, neck of the league is going to be traveling up here in the next two weeks. Came across y'all and learned a lot about ice cream. And it took me a while to figure out where y'all are at. And I kind of figured out you're over there in Washington. So, it's good to talk to y'all and hope you all have a good rest of y'all's night and everything. I've been going to that location for over 20 years and I've watched that location for so many hand changes. The last time they hired a counter gal, I actually told her that she had a product she didn't think she had. And I brought it to the counter, put it on there, and I said, hey, I need a bag of these. She goes, we don't have those. Yes, you do. You just don't have them at this location. Can you order me a bag of them, please? And she totally looked at me, dumped on her stump and really put her foot in her mouth because she went back to her manager and sure enough, they had it at their Tacoma location. So, yeah, that's my favorite store to tell. And now she's the manager of that store, so hopefully I'll get to see her because she's a good friend after so many years of visiting with them. And it's one of my favorite locations. I love the staff. But I want to say that I don't think they've closed any locations down as far as I know. They are really bustling business and they do a great job. They've got great customer service in my experience and just a whole lot of fun to work with. So I hope that answers your question. I just had to look into the information about the optical drives being discontinued, and I haven't been able to track down any reliable source on that. It looks like the, uh, all of the articles about it all reference back to something that appears to have been barfed out by an AI chatbot, so I wouldn't put too much faith in that being correct until some of the big manufacturers actually come out and say it. The drives are still readily available right now. And as far as ripping Blu-rays, 4K especially, that is, however, very difficult. All of the drives that you'll find on the market today are locked down in firmware to prevent you from doing that. There are a number of them that are capable, but they have to be flashed with custom firmware, and you can research that. The best place would be on the MakeMKV forums. That's the program that rips them and adds, you have to get a specific drive, and I believe the newer ones will prevent you from modifying the firmware, so you have to get an older one. 4K is not really worth the effort to rip it, and ripping it is illegal anyway, so if you're already breaking the law doing that, you might as well just pirate the movie instead. And, uh, let's see, as far as distributing music for an independent artist, probably the best way to go about that would be a website that provides digital downloads, something like Bandcamp, where you can sell your album on downloads, provide lossless codecs, so it sounds just as good as a CD, or even better if you want to provide higher sample rates. And even if you want physical media, there are bunches of companies now that will even press vinyl in small quantities at reasonable prices. If you want to sell something physical and provide a digital download code to go along with that, because a lot of the people buying it don't even have a way of playing it. But, yeah, that's all I got for now. 73, everyone. H3-7LR, back to Nat. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November Quebec November, All Star Node 6222. Yeah, that is very true, Cody. I expect that numerous people, again, I don't have a DVD player, I don't have a Blu-ray player, I think one of the few Blu-ray players I did own was my TS-3 when I purchased it, and I purchased it because it was Blu-ray compatible and it was designed to play Blu-ray. And that was where I went the Sony route instead of the Xbox route because I wanted to play Blu-ray. And at that time there was more Blu-rays available than there was HD DVDs. And again, it brings back to my point again where Sony nailed it. They hit the market, they hit it running, and they totally blew Microsoft out of the water with the HD DVD platform. I mean, very few people even know what an HD DVD is, let alone that there was a special player that was required for it. And commercially, nobody made an HD DVD player, if I remember correctly. I think there may have been one manufacturer who did it just to make sure that they were compatible with every platform and every source of media that was out there. But Sony did an incredible job with the Blu-rays. And I kind of laugh because we were at a thrift shop the other day, and amongst the records, which I've had this new found fascination of records, including the fact that I picked up my AC DC Back in Black album I'm super excited about, as well as the Eagles Hotel California album with the backstage Eagles Hotel California pass, which was just mind-blowing to get those in my possession, are laser discs. As a kid I loved the laser disc platform, and I'm still trying to find a laser disc, but amongst the records there were probably 15 different laser discs that were just mixed in with them all. Whoever was running the shop had no idea the difference between a laser disc and a record. It was a habitat for humanity, yes. And I'm sure they had no idea, didn't care, and I probably could have got every single one of those laser discs for the exact same price as the album, the record for like $1 or $1.50 each. I mean, you look at what they originally cost, and that's just insulting to the original producers and some of that. But it's a platform that didn't last very long, the laser disc, it was condensed down into the DVD. And it's a fraction of the size and a fraction of the space to keep your collection. And if I remember correctly as well, a little bit more resilient to scratches. The laser disc, I want to say, nothing worse than getting halfway through your movie and it skipping. And I mean, the DVDs did the same thing, and the Blu-rays, I think it got pretty good about it. They didn't really do that as much, but the buffering was there for it. But anyway, I'm going down again. I'm a rabbit hole, I don't need to go down. This is KJ7JX. Robert, it is 1006 p.m. on Sunday, so I'm going to hand it over to my other half here. KJ7RAB, over to you."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":0.725350215457953,"created_at":"2026-06-28T04:31:09.035634+00:00","id":128041,"node_number":"66296","recording_id":128143,"text":"folks if you haven't been out here yet get out here tomorrow come on I know Dan and Teresa I know you guys are listening and I challenged you you haven't shown up yet just planned I know you guys are not traveling very well at the moment but we'll have the swing by and harass you guys one of these days so that's about all I can ramble on skies looking absolutely spectacular at the moment so if you're outside take a look up if you're not outside go outside and take a look up and probably do it quick before it goes away because the sky changes drastically around here and that is one of my favorite things about the Pacific Northwest is the beautiful skies we have anyway thanks for what you do my friend very much appreciate you and hope we get to see you again tomorrow this is KJ 7 JX and clear back to you well thank you Robert yeah I hope to get down there tomorrow if I can and for the folks who are not in the Pacific Northwest and wondering about our son since we have"},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":0.6656267299101903,"created_at":"2026-06-28T04:21:04.810128+00:00","id":128029,"node_number":"683211","recording_id":128131,"text":"folks if you haven't been out here yet get out here tomorrow come on I know Dana and Teresa I know you guys are listening tonight I challenged you you haven't shown up yet just playing I know you guys are not traveling very well at the moment but we'll have the swing by and harass you guys one of these days so I think that's about all I can ramble on skies looking absolutely spectacular at the moment so if you're outside take a look up if you're not outside go outside and take a look up and probably do it quick before it goes away because the sky changes drastically around here and that is one of my favorite things about the Pacific Northwest is the beautiful skies we have anyway thanks for what you do my friend very much appreciate you and hope we get to see you again tomorrow this is KJ 7 JX and clear back to you well thank you Robert yeah I hope to get down there tomorrow if I can and for the folks who are not in the Pacific Northwest and wondering about our son says we have"},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-10-10T09:05:00+00:00","id":57115,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":57114,"text":" Kilo Juliet 7, Juliet X-Ray and Mike, Robert!"},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-10-03T12:38:45+00:00","id":52616,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":52615,"text":" Kilo Juliet 7, Juliet X-Ray, Robert, Kilo Juliet 7, Romeo Alpha Bafo, Kami, Marine Mobile."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":0.950202351808548,"created_at":"2026-06-27T16:43:35.097694+00:00","id":126574,"node_number":"66296","recording_id":126575,"text":"You guys are lucky if it's not raining there, because it was definitely raining here. So I guess we'll just see what people want to say about... Actually, I got one. I got one. Start with Frank. Frank, what's your favorite thing about Field Day that isn't Field Day itself? Come ahead, Frank. This is NA-70, Frank. Oh, probably the different foods to show up. Some people have some really neat stuff. This is an A-70. A-E-7X I like. Thanks very much, Frank. I sure like the foods too. A-E-7X I like. Come ahead and tell us what you like about Field Day other than Field Day. Well, good evening and greetings from CW Beach, which is where I'm currently parked. Although I'm about to go back up to the main Wagon Wheel campsite. But we had a really great day here setting up for Field Day starting tomorrow. I'm looking at the incredible 80-meter vertical that is going to be put to use tomorrow evening, I think. Anyway, it's been a really great day up here. I'll be doing a little bit of time helping to put up some of the stuff up on the bluff. It did not rain as expected. I was expecting to be putting up antennas in the pouring rain today based on the forecast. That didn't happen. To tell you the truth, there's lots of things I like about Field Day besides just the event itself. I think one of the biggest ones is I get to see a lot of people with expertise playing their craft and showing me things that I had no idea that's how this thing worked. For instance, down here at the CW set up, they put up a set of phased verticals that are going to be used to really magnify the signal going up over the saltwater. Apparently, that's one of the reasons the station every year has such a great signal. Just learning about things like that, I wasn't really too familiar with how that kind of antenna system works and gets set up. It's really inspiring and it's also making me want to experiment with some of that stuff myself. Quick drop. Just another quick example of that is Dean was showing me his massive 40-meter wire yaggies that he put up. I was extremely impressed. I had no idea how those worked. Seeing him explaining to me and seeing them in action and seeing how big they are, I never would have thought to try to put something up like that myself. But now that I was up on the bluff and he was showing me how it worked, I'm thinking, man, I can maybe put something like that up and it might be really fun to experiment with. Getting to rub shoulders with all these people who really know what they're doing is one of the big reasons I really like Field Day. That will send it back to you. Thanks for doing the net. 87xX. Thanks very much, Mike. I had a question of did the potluck come up and happen already and how was it if it did? Yes, the potluck was a huge success. We had all sorts of different food from taco bar to rice and chili with hot dogs, hamburgers. I brought a shared food replay with salami and cheeses. I think a big hit, everyone got fueled up and like I was saying, it's dinner tonight. We got a fuel up to make all those contacts tomorrow so I think it went really well and I think everyone had a great time. 87xX. Thanks again. I have to admit, I'm not... I should say I am ashamed to admit it, but Dean had to wipe off his 40 meter antenna array because I drooled all over it. I love it that much. Anyway, let's see. Moving on from that embarrassment. Let's move on to Casey1 I like just the camaraderie of everybody there. I find everybody is helpful. I think everybody is very thoughtful and willing to give information and show what they have for equipment. I just think the whole thing is just awesome. Anyway, that's about all I got for the moment. Casey1, B.A.U. That is absolutely too frank and let me say that you get that same feeling at Winterfield Day and to be honest, I carry those off throughout the year. It's almost like the Christmas spirit and Scrooge and all that sort of thing. Anyway, let's see. Next we've got KJ7, R.A.B. Cammy. Cammy, before I let you talk, I just said yesterday that you and Sheila should put together a book of all the good restaurants on the north end. I think that would be an excellent book. Anyway, come ahead, Cammy. Well, good evening to you, Gregor and everyone out there on the neck. Cammy here, KJ7, R.A.B. It's so funny that you should mention Sheila because I was going to mention Sheila. She made me what is perhaps maybe one of the coolest things on the whole wide world on her 3D printer. It's a gadget that I showed to her. She printed it for me and sent it to me in the mail. So, Sheila, if you're listening, thank you so much. And what it is, it's a little tray that holds sticky pads, but it has these set of templates where you can draw lines on your sticky notes or make different sections on your sticky notes or make lines with little checkboxes. If you're a checkbox person like me, holy moly, it's revolutionary, it's life-changing and it's pink. And so I put bright green sticky notes in it. It is the coolest thing in the whole wide world. I'm thrilled to pieces. I can't wait to write a whole bunch of sticky notes. And what I like about field day, other than field day, I don't know, like just the whole, the whole, all the things. You know, like we're hanging out with a bunch of awesome cam radio friends. We've all got our station managers here. We've got our trailers. It's not the most picturesque place to camp in the whole world, but it's not about the spot. It's about the people that we're with and what we're doing. So, and that makes it all awesome. Thanks so much for hosting. As always, thanks for getting us in. Thanks for everything that you do. We really appreciate you. KJ7, RAB, back to net control. Thanks so much, Cami. And, yeah, you know, Dean gets lionized quite a bit and rightfully so, I will say. But, you know, right up there with him is Sheila, and he likes to think of a more backseat to things and be in the shadows, but she is effective in those shadows, I will say. All right, let's see. Now, let's back up to KJ7, JXM, Robert. Robert, what do you like best about field day, other than field day? Well, good evening, good evening to net. This is KJ7, JXM, Robert. And I have to say, it's the hanging out in the parking lot with all of our like-minded folk and having, you know, fun. I always like to chuckle because there's always an adult beverage or two here in the college parking lot. And don't tell anybody though. I don't know if that's allowed here on college grounds, but, you know, we brown baggater or solo cup, so they don't know what's going on. You know what I'm saying? Just playing radio. I mean, you know, it's a lot of fun. And every year I've been for, I think this is my fourth year now. I'll be hosting a SWAT meet here as well. So, I have a lot of fun with that. It allows me to get, you know, get geared to folks. And just like, you know, the infamous Mike and Key SWAT meet, I'm able to get rid of stuff and re-home it. So, you know, it's one of those joys that I have with radio and everything else. So, hanging out with folks that thankfully the weather's... I mean, right now it's beautiful. Gorgeous sunshine. There's plenty of blue sky. And it's just right. It's a little extra windy, but, you know, we can deal with that. Where we're set up, we've got a couple handicaps that we're able to tie our awnings off to, which is a good thing because it's really hard to drive the stakes into the concrete. It just, it doesn't work very well. So, again, thanks for doing it. You do my friends. Very much appreciate you. And hope you all are having a fantastic weekend. This is KJ7JX. And, clear, back to you, my friend. Man, you're making it sound so fun that I'm gonna have to double think going to Fort Flagler in the future. That sounds like a heap of fun. Let's see the swap meet. The baby swap meet is the key draw. But, yeah, I guess nobody ever guesses what might be in a red solo cup. But, yeah, and then finally hammering stakes into the concrete. Not easy and definitely frowned upon. Anyway, thanks very much, Robert, and continue to have a good time. All right, let's sneak down to N7 your hm, Mike. Mike, you're supposed to be running the digital set. What are you doing? I haven't ran the digital tent for a couple years now. I'll let somebody else take that over. How about that? So, there you go. Somebody's doing anything better than I was doing it. How about that? At least they wanted to do it bigger and better. So, you know, you know, and here as you're saying, I'm, as everybody else here is saying, this is the thing I like about Field Day the best. And, you know, we're actually literally all standing around in a Brooks' radio using the community radio right now. And all that good stuff. And, you know, so, trust a good time. You know, our station managers are all, station managers are all getting along, which is actually kind of a good time. You know, and, yeah, good time out here. And, yeah, I need to get back out to Fort Flagg one of these times. I need to get my key little award out there. I'm like, six, seven hundred into it. You know, just the time I've been out there. So, yeah, anyways, yeah. Hope he's having a good, has a good Field Day. Hope he's having a good night. My love, good stuff. And, you forgot to talk about the cops tonight, you know. So, anyways, that's all in our story. Anyways, back to you there. Have a good evening. And, seven-year-age. Oh, thanks, Mike. Sorry to get on your case. I shouldn't have done that. Definitely, you did a good job when you were running the Digital Sense. So, no shade should go your way. And, yeah, I've been calling Cammy over Robert lately because Robert says a bunch of stuff, and then Cammy comes on and says, yeah, that's all you get the air from her. So, I wanted to hear more. And, Robert still has plenty of stuff to say even after Cammy talks. So, it's all good. And, I hope you're having a great time too, Mike. Anyway, thanks very much. And then K8YFR. I don't think you've been in our net before, but come ahead nonetheless, and don't be a stranger in the future. Yeah, good evening, everyone. This is Jeff, K8YFR, and you are correct there. Not a frequent person to get into the nets up north as I'm down in Thurston County. So, I think for me, what I enjoy is already been shared, the camping, the camaraderie, the folks, the solo cups, all of that fun stuff. But also, I get a chance to get into nets that I don't normally get into down in the Olympia area. So, I've heard good things about the Fort Flagler Field Day stuff. So, I was talking to me about it last week, and this is the first time I'm getting up to the PSR-G Field Day. So, for me, everything is new and fun. And, yeah, as Cammy would say, all of the things that have been shared previous still apply. Thank you for running the net, and I hope everybody has a good field day this weekend. K8YFR. Well, thanks very much. Back at you to have a good field day, and we get several people from Olympia that check in. Hopefully, if you gave it a try, you might be able to reach us. So, at least try to not be a stranger. Thanks again. And do have a good time. And finally, for round one, we've got KK7B and R. David, who finally snuck in there at the end. Come ahead, David, and tell us what you like about Field Day. Oh, they're not Field Day itself. Evening, Greg, and everybody listening. Well, this will only be my second Field Day, so I don't know a happy opinion of that yet. Last year, I was up to my eyes doing stuff at home, and then I didn't make it out very much on Field Day. I think I had a couple of contacts at home. This year, I don't know if I'm going to make it out either. I've been stopped in the face a hundred times by my child asologist, so I kind of look a bit scary right now, so I prefer not to scare people with my oleamugs. So, we shall see what the morning bahouls for me, I suppose. My wife and my kids are going out tomorrow, so I will be able to do my own thing. So, I haven't made my mind up yet. I will see in the morning how well I sleep overnight. The thing I did enjoy last year was just that they share a lot of people on how joyous they all sounded. Unless people can be a bit, maybe a bit weary of times, or we're talking with the weather or something, but last year, they're all out and about having some fun. I burst into a number of people on two meters and they were all off in the fun, so it was great to hear people out there and having a bit of crack as the others say. And I'm super glad it's Friday. Yeah, I have to figure out what I want to do this weekend. Maybe I might call it a local park or something. I didn't know. I was very tired. I will figure out the morning, not too hard, but I do have a home radio job tonight. But today, it was super windy and that was never fun to be able to roof on its windy, so I'm not going to do that anyway. Alright, great here. I will send it back to you at the 7th of November. Yes, please do not go on the roof in the windy. I do not want to hear that you got blown off. Yes, so, well, as field days come and go, I'm sure you will create more of an opinion for yourself, and I'll try to remember to ask next year. Alright, thanks very much, David, and I hope that you managed to do something anyway. And let's go on into round two. So, give me your call sign and name. Two more steps up in the bus, and thank you, Chris. Mode at Fort Flagler, with a guest. Oh, hang on, steady-key person who just tried to check in. So, it sounded like we had Ross after Dave. Ross was that you? It's a Roger Roger, and I have a guest. I'm a fuel-jurious, selling Charlie Bromhor. So, Robert, are you Ross's guest, or is Ross still got a different guest? Negative, he has a different guest, but I haven't heard him check in yet. Well, Ross, put your, um, says your friend to have a call sign. Now, this is Rob. I don't know what's your last name? Rob Nordstrom. And he just passed his technician in general license on Thursday, and he doesn't have a call sign yet, so he's my guest. And I'll let him tell you the story of how he got here. So, here's Rob. Hi, everybody. This is Rob, and I've been listening to your net for several days, and yesterday was the day Ross said, I know you people are out there, but why don't you come and help us? We're going to need some help. And I said, do you know what? I'm coming out, and here I am. You've been listening to us for several days, and you weren't scared off. That's amazing. Anyway, thanks Rob, and hope that you get your call sign real soon. Usually they give them out on Fridays or Mondays, as I recall, so maybe you'll see it Monday. Anyway, we're still taking chickens though, so if you'd like to be on the Round Two check-in list, come ahead. W-A-7-B-E-B-E. Yeah, that would be a fire. I got Kilo Fox 7 Bravo, what was the rest of the suffix? Bravo Sierra India. I'm just turning it out. Can I get a handle to put down on the spreadsheet? Here's Ray Romeo off my Yankee."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":0.8528250455856323,"created_at":"2026-06-27T02:06:47.121033+00:00","id":125505,"node_number":"66296","recording_id":125504,"text":"Kilo Juliet 7, Juliet X-ray Mic Testing."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-11-08T12:49:01+00:00","id":76909,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":76908,"text":" Good afternoon Jack, KJ7JX and Robert here and a little bit of both. They are stellar because they are Vision X. They could be used as running lights although it kind of gets on that healthy side in Washington because they are above the headlights. We are installing some Vision X, these are the Optimus round halo lights on the A pillars. They are mounted to the hood hinges just like I did on Kami's FJ. These are the Vision X, so it is a single source LED. It is a single 10 watt LED chip that is designed to get light out 680 feet. When they measure that, they measure that is one lux of light at 680 feet away from the mounting surface at 12.8 volts. So you put 14.4 volts at it, it might get just a hair further high. But it is a 10 degree spot beam which reaches out and touches the same lights I have on the front of the black jeep. And then you have 20 different lens combinations available in blue, red, amber and clear that will diffuse that light to a more usable beam pattern because you can usually light up 680 feet out but you are probably not going to recognize any objects 680 feet out. At least not with the human eye anyway. But I am sure that would be a discussion for plenty of other people at another time. But yeah, we are getting ready to, got one of them mounted up, getting ready to mount the other one up and then comes the fun of playing with the wires and getting everything wired up, drilling some holes in the dashboard for some switches and making sure everything works. So far so good. I don't want to say anything else because I want to get the job completed before I say anything because I don't want to jinx myself there. Hi, hi. Thanks for what you do Jack. Very much appreciate you and I hope you are having a fantastic day. This is KJ7KXM. But yeah, looking forward to seeing everyone hanging out and playing some radio. We've got two boxes of goodies for the swap needs. So remember folks, you've got stuff to get rid of, bring it on over. I've got a whole table I brought just for that. So yeah, there you go. KJ7JX and Clearback. This is KJ7JX and Robert and Thanksgiving report that was so two days ago. Oh Well, yeah, I mean for Thanksgiving we had an incredible day we went up and found some mud and I found a tiny bit of snow and then we We had an incredible lunch from the gas station and a great dinner from the casino. What better Thanksgiving could you ask for? I got to spend the day with my love, so that was what was fantastic about that. And then yesterday, I brought the work van home and went to my storage unit twice, Got a whole bunch of my toolboxes home and then went to Harbor Freight and bought a brand new toolbox. I left it in the truck because I didn't have room in the garage for it right away. But today I moved some stuff around in the garage and I got room for the toolbox now. So tomorrow morning we're going to go get breakfast and then we're going to go get the work van again so I can get the toolbox out of it. Then I can load it all up and take it back to work. So yeah, luckily work has an interesting vehicle that has a lift gate. I'll just put it that way because it has a lift gate and that's the whole reason why I'm using that vehicle because the toolboxes weigh a lot so they're not exactly easy to get in and out of things or push them up high ramps like in a U-Haul or something like that. That's a lot of work. Trust me, I've done it. And it's really sketchy putting those things at that kind of an angle. Today we went to Costco, we actually got out of Costco without spending any money. I don't know, let Kimmy talk about that. And we, toolbox, toolbox, toolbox. We came home and relaxed and, oh, we walked down to the holiday best of us thing that Arlington was putting on. They did a tree lighting and they had the whole main box off and there was snow machines and free hot cocoa and there was popcorn and cookies and all kinds of crazy stuff. But we just walked around and saw some friends and got to see some lighted vehicles. Toolbox, toolbox, toolbox. Because that's the word of the day. Toolbox! But thanks for doing what you do my friend. I got to go. It is time to have my bedtime getting a little loopy, I think. This is KJ7JX, and I'm sending it back to you. Well, thank you, Robert, for that holiday-themed report. And we learned that you are thankful for toolboxes and biscuits. And yeah, we can't have one without the other. What was that song? Kami, maybe you, yeah, you don't know that song. KJ7RAB, Kami, tell us how you're, we can't."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-25T04:05:17+00:00","id":97955,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":97954,"text":"Maybe not. Wait a minute, KJ7JX, Robert is up! Oh, that's fantastic. Alright, well I'll talk to you all later on Meshcore. Very cool. And Madeline would be so happy. Alright, Megan, K9, MLR, good morning, or good morning, good afternoon, seems like morning still around our house, uh, hey, happy Thanksgiving, what's going on?"},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-27T12:14:24+00:00","id":100058,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":100057,"text":"Well, good afternoon to the net this is kj7 JX and Roberts and I am doing pretty good We just had the ordeal of a lifetime at this house. I called in a professional dog male trimmer to to cut the claws down on Tilly and Zeus Millie's pretty easy came he's able to kind of get her because Most of her nails are clear, so you can kind of see through them and see where the quick is. But the other two dogs, they squirm and squabble so much that we're always afraid we're going to clip the quick, which is not a good thing to do on dogs, and very painful for them. But the Mogwai, or Tilly, she is the most freaked out little dog I think I've ever seen trying to get her nails clipped. She was squirming and fighting and crying and doing everything she could to get out of our arms. It took three of us to hold her in place. Well, two of us to hold her and the third person was clipping the nails and holding on with a death grip to her feet to try to keep them in place, but ended up getting that done. And then Zeus, oh my goodness, Zeus sounds like you're murdering him. He's got that husky thing where it's It's vocalization, it's screaming at the top of his lungs. My watch actually alerted me that the sound had reached over 100 decibels and I should go to somewhere that's quieter. I just looked and laughed. It's like, yep, yeah, he's freaking out. He thinks he's dying right now and we're just, you know, I think after the two rear ones done he kind of realized that he could fight and cry all he wanted but it wasn't going to get him anywhere. and kind of calmed down a little bit finally, but I got both of their nails done and had to hire a professional to come in and do that, which was pretty inexpensive. I was expecting to pay a lot more than I did, so that was nice. And then now we're just kind of sitting down, relaxing, watching some fallout. And as I watch this show, it makes me just, I get in the hanker to spend hours upon hours behind the screen playing the game. It was one of my all-time favorite games and it's just, yeah, anyway. And on the other note, I think we got to get to the storage unit today to get rid of the table. I've had no takers on it, which has been quite unfortunate. I know I didn't sell it very well, but I was really hoping that someone would take that table up. That way, I knew it was going to go to someone who was going to appreciate it, but it's probably going to end up at Goodwill. And I'm sure someone will eventually appreciate it, but instead of getting it for free, they're going to have to pay money for it now. So there you go. Anyway, thanks for doing what you do my friends. Very much appreciate you and looking forward to the final Sunday net of the year tomorrow. Yes, we will be hosting and I think if I get the ambition up, do it. I think we're going to try to find somewhere remote with no cell service and no radio service to do it from. So we'll see if that works or not. But anyway, thanks for doing what you do my friends. Very much appreciate you and hope you are having a great rest of the year. I got to do a quick reset here real quick. Hold on one second. KJ7JX and returning here. I also wanted a report that I was able to get Cammy's Anytone to work on the 1.25 meter band. My Anytone has been ready to rock and roll on it and has been able to transmit on 220. But hers, for whatever reason, was giving me an error. So I jumped through all kinds of hoops to finally get that unlocked on the radio, which really kind of perplexed me because I swore that originally these Anytones were sold as a Tri-Band radio. But all of my research is showing the note they were never shown as a Tri-Band. They just inherently would be able to do Tri-Band in a special mode 14 operation.
