No, they're not new, and I've never really had a problem with them leaking in the past. They've got some miles on them. The treads on them are really good, so they're suitable for snow, ice, or whatever, but they're just kind of regular low-cut shoes, nothing that comes up to the ankle or anything like that. But for ninety nine percent of the mud puddles, maybe ninety nine point eight percent of the mud puddles that I would encounter all year They are fine and even pretty good in the snow catch seven CDI This is right High top type boots, of course and you know nice and warm steel toe Never hurts, but not really necessary. Not that I've got a job right now now, but I like the Vibram soles, and I like having them watertight for sure. That's a good thing. Thank you so much, Tim. I'm going to have to get me some of those. No, he's probably still After the car is loaded. He packed that thing to the gills. I'm surprised that I even kept polo per I was thinking maybe he was probably just leaving behind and you know, I'm just kidding. He took photo Yeah, they made it safely and he's getting back to back to normal down there in the Tampa area Maybe he'll even check in. All right. Well, Michael, you have a good afternoon. Let's go talk to Brad, KJ7GDN in Seattle, because he works over at the U. How are you, Brad? Well, pretty good. Pretty good. Sun's up. Pretty clear sky. Well, I mean, there's some clouds down to the south, but the sky's looking pretty good. Yeah, just standing down here on Portage Bay. Just watched a sea plane taxi underneath the University Bridge. Don't see sea planes down here on Portage Bay too often. They're usually over on Lake Union. This didn't look like it was painted in the colors of Kenmore Air. Those are yellow, and this was more like red and gray and blue stripes. So not sure what that's about. I'm not down here all that often, so who knows? Maybe it's a common sight, but not what I've seen. Anyway, just walking out to grab some lunch down here. My favorite little cafe down here, Great Veggie Bagel. And hey, you were talking about the Super Guppy. I'm trying to remember. The original Super Guppy, wasn't that based on a DE3 or something like that? Okay, there goes that airplane taking off. I didn't know you could take off right there. Huh, interesting. Anyway, wasn't that based on a DC-3, the original Super Guppy? I watched the program all about the guys who ran those recently. Anyway, yeah. Nowadays we use the Dream Whisker, or what's the ones that Airbus uses? They're all painted up like a Beluga. Those are pretty cool too. Anyway, those are interesting aircraft for sure. Anyway, I'm going to pass it back to you and keep on heading down to get me some lunch. This is Keeler Juliet 7, Golf Delta November. Back to you, Jack."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-22T21:30:25+00:00","id":87149,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":87148,"text":"Well, and that's a lot to concentrate on although be fun to see if you're if you let the smoke out Of your ears. So, howdy howdy there, Jack. While it is a drizzly, soggy, I guess, Camino Island. Well, soggy Burmerton. It's wet out there, but it's not coming down. Not in my neck of the wood. I heard on the news it was raining there in Sea Tack. But, not over here. Things are wet, but it's not, nothing coming out of the sky. So, well, we're two days away from the Hamtas here. It's 9 to noon, and the drawing is at noon. Hopefully people are planning on traveling over here. I got a friend that's going to get a table, and he's got one of those antique radios with tubes in it, I guess. That he's going to put on there. I don't know, I mean, a lot of those old timers out there get one of those tube radios. You know? You know? Anyway, but yeah, we've still got tickets that will be at the door. But, we're pretty sold out of tickets for the drawing, but hopefully everybody will show up. I hear there's going to be coffee and snacks available on the side. So, hopefully everybody will come over and join us for the morning of Saturday. I know it's supposed to be drizzly, but it's indoors. Anyway there, Jack. How's everything else on the world wide web here? We're doing alright home wise, needing some more income. My business still hasn't taken up. I did get two gigs with KitzApp Transit, but that's not going to pay the bills. Anyway, we're working at it. So I hope everybody's alright out there. We'll be probably on tomorrow late, promoting the ham fest again. But I've got appointments tomorrow. I've got to go to that lovely Social Security office tomorrow for a meeting. Anyway, have a good one there Jack. We'll talk to you down the line and say 7-3 to everybody. It's like, oh man, come on guys, really? Can't we come up with something better? I don't know, what can you say? And thanks for the comments on that, because yeah, some of those are absolutely, truly dangerous I think, and if you don't break what's in it, you're lucky, so there you go. Good comment there, Rich. No day off here. I only go into the office two days a week and so Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I'm here in the home office. And once in a while, not too often, but once in a while I have enough spare time while I'm working from home to pick up the radio. So here I am. What do you know? Actually, I really don't have any spare time this week just between you all and me. No spare time this week because I actually have Monday and Friday off. Yeah, because I had to do some errands. I had to take my dad in for a procedure on Monday and, well, actually Friday, we're going out of town for the weekend and I'm gonna bunk off a little early and get out and start early and have some fun. Anyway, yeah, not a whole lot going on other than that stuff. I'm trying to catch up. I was actually, I just got back from a week's vacation in Florida, too, so I'm still trying to catch up at work, around all these days off, daying all these days off. How am I supposed to get any work done? That's a joke. And the only other thing going on around here is they are tearing up the road in front of my house. My son's therapist had to dodge some big potholes to get in and I had to dodge the same ones going in and out. It's not potholes. They're giant squares they've cut right in front of my driveway. They're pouring new concrete and patching things up. The road out there has been pretty bad for a long time. And once in a while, they come through here, cut pieces out, fill them back in. Don't make any long-lasting improvements, but I'm sure it keeps the road from degrading too much. Anyway, that's all I got. Other than that, I gotta get back to work. Have fun all.
