A lot of partials, a few doubles. Uh, but, uh, computer problem, one second. VA7FL with the net bulletin. Yes, I'm going to you right in a second, Scott. I'm trying to fix something here. I will be with you just in a second. Uh, I had a lot of first. Oh, yeah, by all means. I love full duplex. Go ahead. Thanks, Chris. I think we're going to have Victor Alpha 7, Cheryl Lima here at Mission Control. And, uh, I just wanted to give a little balloon update. So, Victor Echo 1, Echo Papa, the meal, is flying across eastern Canada this morning. He's about to, uh, he created the V1EP, made his first lap of the world here a couple days ago. Congratulations to Emil and his team at the Comox amateur radio club. And our balloon, the VA7NFR, is currently in the, we believe it's in the high Arctic. We mean high Arctic, we mean the high Arctic. It is way north. It is so far north it ain't getting enough sun on the panels. Um, we haven't heard from him for two or three days, which isn't unusual. But, um, we don't expect it. We'll hear from it again until it comes back down, probably over northern Canada. But, uh, it's slow moving air swirling around. In the polar regions, we believe, last time we heard from it, it was very, very northeastern Siberia. So, that's it here from Mission Control. Happy summer. Beautiful, beautiful day here in southwest British Columbia. Gonna be a warm one. Gonna have a barbecue. 73 to all. This is VA7SL here from Mission Control. Thanks, Scott. Boy, that's exciting stuff. Congratulations to you and to Emil for all the success with the balloons. Um, Scott, do you guys ever hook up with school groups? I mean, I have to, I'm trying to remember back to when I was about 12, and I have to think I would have been fascinated by that stuff back then. Well, last summer we, uh, we launched a, um, a balloon with a, uh, school group, uh, a summer school group in, uh, in southern British Columbia. It was very successful. They were very excited, actually. We were playing how kids are in person, you know. We didn't think they were that interested. And then we left, and we heard they were tracking it every day. They had it live on their screen in their classrooms, and, you know, so. No, we've done it, um, it's just, uh, it's funny though with people ballooning. It's just one of those things that's a tough one, because you got, it's very weather dependent, and you can't really predict anything, right? Like, um, during, especially during the school year when the weather's kind of iffy, right? That's the problem with it, but anyway, yeah, we've done it. VA7SL. Awesome. Well, that's great. Uh, thanks for the update, and, uh, of course, thanks for keeping everything running smoothly here at the Canada Hub. You and, uh, Adrian. And let's go to Emil, uh, VE1EP. Uh, anything to add to Scott's, uh, balloon report? No, not really. Uh, really excited that, uh, it's still, uh, still on the go. Um, for anyone that's interested, you could watch the launch actually on YouTube. The one at Copapa. And then for the specific details on the payload and, uh, and all these parameters, uh, you check my QRZ, and it's all in fine detail there. More, there's more there than I can fully understand, but, uh, that's okay. That's all part of the hobby. And, uh, today we're tracking 238, uh, excuse me, 243 balloons, uh, on my QRZ. So, uh, anyone that's interested, uh, you're more than happy to drop me a line, and, uh, we can even get you to adopt a balloon. And that's where you learn all about, uh, the parameters. Back to net control. Thanks for sharing. One Echo, Pop-Pop, Port of Me. Thanks, Emil. Very cool stuff. Uh, and, uh, boy, I'm surprised there are that many balloons. Neat stuff, and that ties in with today's topic, uh, what's the furthest you've reached in this hobby, uh, distance-wise. Okay, in that group of in-and-out check-ins, we had Whiskey, Juliet 3 Whiskey. Thanks for joining us, and I've been to that part of Pennsylvania. That's lovely. Uh, KJ5, J-O-M, thanks for joining us. K6, Victor, Pop-Up, thanks for joining us. VE4, November, Quebec, thanks for joining us today. Victor 4, Juliet, India, Mike, thanks for joining us. Who else did we have? It was just a quick in-and-out. Please go ahead. This is TransCanada. Uh, Victor, Echo 5, Romeo, Juliet, Mike, uh, Victor, Echo 5, Romeo, Juliet, Mike, uh, Roundy, and Kenora.
