"text": " Yes sir, that is exactly what my wife has planned for us. You know, I'm a traditionalist. I like to put up Christmas stuff after Thanksgiving. But my wife, she's had a couple of pretty rough years and it brings her great joy to put up Christmas early. So that's what we do now and I'm okay with that. So we'll be putting up Christmas lights today. The Green Kids are going to help us put up the blow ups and the Grinch. You know, we kind of have a lot of little kiddie stuff out there for the Green Kids for Christmas. Yeah, that's our plan. That's our plan today. I'm trying to decide what for dinner. I think we're going to cook a soup or a stew or something. Yeah, it's just a Sunday for me. It's pretty lazy. I like lazy Sundays. So there you go. KJ5 IOK."

I might as well put them out today because everybody else is going to be putting them out once it starts snowing. That will give me something to do today."

"text": " I certainly am. To answer your question, sorry, this is VA4SMC returning. In Winnipeg, no subways whatsoever. But I did live in Edmonton. And they had the light rail train, which at the time, I don't know how it is now, but it would run from the northeast corner of Edmonton down to downtown and then to, I think, the university. But at some point there, just before downtown, I would go underground and turn into a subway kind of thing. But I took that from, I live in the northeast part of Edmonton, and I took that LRT to downtown and then picked up a sky shuttle to the airport, the air traffic controller. So it was all like mass kind of transportation. Nav Canada did pay for the tickets for the sky train, so it was just the cost of getting a monthly pass for the LRT train. So it was a nice commute. Didn't have to start a car for many years there, so it was nice and pretty convenient. The sky shuttle ran all the time, the train ran all the time, and it was good, but nothing like that in Winnipeg. I work just outside the city of Winnipeg, so I have to drive a car out there every day. Well, not every day, but the days I work, obviously. And yeah, about the All Star note, I always wondered that too, because I know it is an unattended note that's broadcasting. When I walk around the neighbourhood, that's why I got it, so I can just connect to the local repeaters that use All Star while I'm walking the dog and be able to hit them. But I always wondered, because if I'm walking around the neighbourhood, then these other people can hear it too. But anyway, my phone's ringing there, so I'll have to call this my 73 round, get ready for the dentist. VA4SNC."

"text": " I've seen Gray in the NetControl chat talk about the website a little bit yesterday. I've not been involved in that at all. I'm not a big fan of WordPress. In fact, I'll just flat out say it. I hate WordPress. It does have its uses. I just never found one for it. However, I do know a little bit about it. I haven't messed with it in a few years, honestly. It's probably been four or five years, but I'm sure not much has changed. I know Gabby and Gray have it down, so I've not volunteered or anything other than I'm a resource if they would like some help or something. I know that's their thing. I don't want to intrude. Honestly, I don't even want to take on anymore, but I don't mind helping. I do know, and KM1X had spoken about this a couple of weeks ago, I think. He's been taking some classes in AI, and he was talking about building an LLM and all that stuff. I have a prototype of a chatbot for DoDropIn. I haven't looked in the WordPress side of things, but from my understanding, it's pretty simple. They have plug-ins that will work with OpenAI, which is what I use personally. Theoretically, we could connect it to the website and have a help AI bot that anybody can talk to at any time and ask, hey, what's next on, or when's the next net, or who's hosting on Monday, blah, blah, blah, blah, and it would pull the data from within its own data resources, which gives it a really quick way to come out with the information. Again, that takes some work, and I know KM1X, I think, was working on something similar to that. Anyhow, yeah, I agree. Maybe we should all have a powwow over a few things, actually, like Discord. I have the ability to do Discord for DoDropIn yet, but I have no vision, and I guess I need people to help me get that, depending on what we want to use it for. It's a super powerful resource, a whole lot more powerful than a WordPress site, honestly. However, it's not as widely used, so I don't know. Like I said, I haven't really given any of that much thought. I like the website. I like the simplicity, the minimalism of it. I think it's eye-catching, but that's just my opinion. Yeah, okay. See what you have or anybody else has to say about that. KJ5 IOK."
