I really didn't start football too much until I got to high school, and it was in the city limits of Athens where I mainly played football. Sometimes run out to Clements. We had a really interesting, I was an outfielder, and I remember one particular game, I was yelling at every batter that would step up, and we went to the skating rink. Probably on Saturday night was the night to go to the skating rink. I didn't skate, I just walked around looking for the girls, but a couple of those boys from Clements, they showed up at the skating rink that night after I'd been yelling at them up at home late, and man, they turned me sideways. I think for more than over, well, probably right around a year, man, I just wanted to be able to get on 11 cats or maybe a couple of other nets on a radio. And I love being on a radio. So I'm going to say that with my workload, there's probably not a lot of hobbies. But I'll give it a good shot. Ham radio is probably going to be the biggest hobby right now. Although, I'm going to say that I've got another hobby that I'm probably spending more time on. And that's like, I guess, fitness. I'm spending a couple of hours every single morning either doing a workout or a run. I guess you might say that's a hobby. More so spending more time on that than ham radio. Let's see. For the last year, I think July the 29th of 2024, I started buying some cryptocurrency. I'm definitely not some kind of financial wizard or something like that. But it's been one year. And for the most part, I've doubled the money. I play with it one or two hours a week. Let me reset. This is repeater station kilo, kilo 7, November, Quebec, November. All star node 622. Let's see. This is KJ5FOX. If you ask my wife, she would fill up a spiral binder on what my hobbies are. I got lots of stuff that I like. There at one point in time, I was buying a bunch of leather making stuff. And I bought me a leather hide. I made a wallet. And I've set that aside. I say I set it aside. I'm just waiting on the next leather project. My wife just told me I'm a knife collector. I just like knives. Nothing too expensive. I see a knife, and I just like the way it looks. And so I'll buy a knife. Wow. What other things do I like? I've got a couple of drones and a radio controller for flying those drones. And I've got a remote control airplane. I built a remote control airplane that has never been in the air. I think I was just worried about crashing the thing. Wow. You know, Virgil, I like to camp. I like to hunt. But right now, I think ham radio and probably fitness. And those are probably taking up most of my time. And the thing that hurts all my hobbies is the old job, the old going to work. Now, let's go to KM1X. It's good to hear about it, Devon. You're up. N90FU, KM1X. Well, as far as I'm concerned, with regards to, again, the nation's capital, that is basically our front door, if you will. That's the front porch for the country. And, you know, we want it to look good. It isn't a big area. It's not a big deal. You know, all of us are paying, everybody that's paying taxes in this country is paying for the upkeep of the District of Columbia. You know, we're not paying for the upkeep of Chicago or LA or whatever. Now, with regards to LA, or California in general, according to CBS News, the state of California has spent $24 billion. Now, that's a lot of money, but California has the fourth or fifth largest economy in the world. They've spent $24 billion in the last five years on homelessness. And the number of homeless has done nothing but climb. So, throwing more money at it, I mean, if you build it, they will come. You throw more money at it, boy, that's where the homeless are going to go. So, I don't think that's the answer. Just throw more money at it and then have the rest of everybody that's working and paying taxes foot the bill for it. It's proven that it's not working right there. That's not the answer. They're the charities to kick in. Let them fund some of this, or most of it, to be honest with you. That's the Christian thing right there. I think it's ironic, too, that the people that are crying about tariffs, and, oh, the price of beans is going to go up. Well, you don't think that the price of your tax bill goes up every time you throw more money at the homeless? You can't have it both ways. And it's usually the people that are paying little or no taxes that are doing all the crying about it. And then you've got the rich that will pay through the nose for accountants to make sure that they don't have to pay one penny more in taxes than necessary. By every loophole, I do not want to have to pay any taxes. But everybody else should have to pay more taxes because we need to spend more and spend more and put it on this and that and that. So, you know, I think throwing money at the problem is not going to solve it. And I've said it before, the Bible says the poor you will have with you always. So maybe this is God's way of saying, let's go on the street, bring a homeless person into our house, and we'll take care of them. And keep it out, keep our hands out. We'll do it. Mano a mano. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven November, Quebec, November. All star note. Six times. Well, thank you. There. The shelter, Washington. Sorry about that. I was talking to another driver here and he just got back from medical leave. So we got John. I fixed on the list. So I will pass it over to you. How is things down the range of the. This is John K and six you wise things are things are warm and rancher could come on. You know, we're experiencing like a hundred degrees or something like that. They call it less usually when they say it's ninety five degrees. It's really a hundred hundred five. Something like that. Where they where they get the temperature reading from is, I don't know, some little building in the shade with sprinklers around it cooling the air. Or somebody who can't read a thermometer. I'm not sure which it is. Let's be back to homeless. You know, you know, he had a real heartfelt. Dissertation on the homeless in cages and whatever. And I thought what she said to his merit. But I also had I thought what a couple of other people. Ron and I forgot the other gentleman's name said, said I thought that was pretty accurate as well. So I don't think. There is going to be one single person, one single homeless person who is put in jail. They didn't ask for it. They're given a choice. Shelter treatment. Get with the program. It's only if they elect to just to not accept treatment, which I think is important. Or shelter. Would they go to jail? I mean, there has to be some teeth in the whole thing. I don't know that people or politicians want to build that many jails even to put the homeless in them. But, yeah, it's it's in my way of thinking. Sorry. It's the homeless person's fault. If he lands in jail because he's not willing to accept other choices. So I sort of like the program. I'm a lot of work on the guy. I like cleaning up the town. I like reducing crime. I like I like having beautiful cities. I'm sorry, but I think that's the way to go. Just a thought. Can you see why? Thanks so much. I think you're on. Yeah, I think that's a lot of people's. I mean, we have we have these cities. Yes, we do have homeless. But when the homeless. Defecating and, you know, spray painting. The homeless, I don't think are doing a lot of the spray painting. I think it's a lot of the kids and stuff like that doing graffiti and other things. You know, it's depressing for people. I mean, I've always, you know, I'd be you know, you live in San Diego, San Diego. And if I walked around, you know, it was just like the trash and graffiti and stuff like that. You know, it's like, hey, you know, this is a city and we're trying to bring people into the city to vacation and spend their money. We're asking San Diego to spend their money. You know, how many people don't want to be there and stay there? You know, because of that. So I think if you talk to the police, you know, there was a lot of people protesting over the things that are happening. But, you know, only a couple blocks where the people were protesting, someone was shot and killed. And their thing was, oh, it was sad that this guy got killed while we were protesting. It was like, no, it's just sad the guy got killed to begin with. You know, why is this crime happening in the lot? It was because 70 percent of the people that were getting these crimes, you know, they were in hands, like, you know, let go. There was no duper and nothing telling them, hey, we don't do this. We were just saying, well, we'd rather not have you do this. You know, we'll let you go. Please don't do it. Pretty, pretty. And these people were just laughing. They were just laughing because they knew nothing was going to happen to them. You know, you talk about the state capitol, Washington, D.C., you know, the crown jewel of the United States, it's supposed to be the crown jewel. And even the places that used to be safe were getting overrun by these gangs and youths that are underage. They're coming out carjacking and mugging and, you know, on the train or subway there that they have. And, you know, it's just appealing and nobody wants to go to D.C. because of it. And it should be the obvious telling. People should want to go to D.C. and, you know, see all the great wonders that they have there found in the country and all the great sites without having to worry about being mugged or being robbed or being carjacked. So hopefully they'll come up with a humane solution for everybody, you know, take care of criminals, do something, you know, good for homeless people. But, you know, you can fix it. And, you know, this is just one way to see it and they'll adjust it if they need to and go from there. That was my rant because I was next on the list, but we are at the bottom of the list. I'm going to take a quick call for check-ins. Is anybody up there? All right. All right, I'm here. I'm going to send them down because I just looked at the thing that said that I tied out. So I apologize, but I don't know. I said this was the end of the list. But they're looking for a check-in.
