Back in business, hit the road. Alright, Tim, just a little stop matter. Hello and good morning, KI-7, ZI. Hello, good morning, yes. I think some people were waking up a little late this morning because we're used to having bright sunshine to help wake us up and we got cloudy sunshine today or pretty much overcast. Today the sun is going to break through here pretty soon though. I'm in Shoreline. Yesterday I drove down to South Center. I was a little short on battery range on my EV here and I figured I could make it back up to Shoreline but I didn't want to take a chance because I would have been just a couple of miles of success. So I found a place to charge down there. So far I've been getting all my charging for free at the Shoreline City Hall, which is a significant amount. I figured over $400 I'd save by not having to pay for any charging anywhere. But I went to a charge point. I think it's charge point is the name of the place. I thought it signed up for an account but apparently I hadn't completed signing up. Anyway, to make a long story short, it took me an hour and a half to get the account thing straightened out. And it turns out apparently when I initially started the account that there's far down in one of the application pages, this is on my smartphone, not so smartphone because it's free as a PC and I can see a lot more what's on the screen. But you're supposed to select a country and the default should be United States since we're here in the United States, the company is located in the United States. But it turns out the default is like Spain or something. So my account was accidentally, inadvertently by operator error in a poor user interface room. The company's standpoint defaulted to Spain. Anyway, it took me an hour and a half to get that all straightened out and to get some charge in my car. So it was reasonably priced. It was $4.50. It took me about 110 miles of range. So I'm left with a close by gasoline. And by the way, that was a City of Seattle site. So it's only 21 cents a kilowatt hour, which is the standard residential rate. So pretty good. Nice to know where the cheaper charging stations are. Anyway, back up here in Shoreline, I will charge my car up for tonight. And other than that, yes, I'll get the picnic. In fact, I'll be there early for setting up, bringing donuts. Hope everyone has a good day meanwhile. And yeah, I just wanted to mention that Jeff lives in Southern California and is an amazing ambassador for both the Papa System and the PSRG. He really is so wonderful and sweet and helpful and is always ready to do his part. Like last night we had a ham kind of trying to troubleshoot on about some coax and I recommended that they check in to Jeff and Tennenet. But Jeff just chimed in and helped him and hopefully they had an afternet going but there was a little too so doing some problem solving which was just yeah just like a perfect example of hams helping hams. It's just it's just what we do. The amateur radio is a service and Jeff is a wonderful example of that. But Jeff has an antenna net every Friday evening at 7 p.m. Pacific time. Everyone's welcome to join. It's for hams of all shapes and sizes. You can get a link to it through his QRZ and his call sign is Alpha Bravo 6 Mike Bravo. Alpha Bravo 6 Mike Bravo. And I recommend even if you just want to listen, it's a great net and a really helpful technical net about antennas or about anything that they end up talking about. Well thank you so much Jeff. 73 and 88 and all the numbers. All right next on the list is Tim. KI7 ZEI. And feeling a little lazy this morning, but I've got a day full of stuff to do, so I need to kick myself in the rear and get going doing it. Hope everyone has a great day out there. KI-7 ZEI. One of my friends got out of the hospital yesterday. And today they wanted to go out and try to find some new glasses. They had a problem with glasses lately. So I took them and helped them with their appointment. And they picked out some glasses. And that was lots of fun. It doesn't really sound like fun, does it? But I enjoyed it. And then went and picked up some mints for someone else and didn't have a chance to get up for those. And I just spent a busy day today trying to organize things for myself. And I still got my apartment to clean up. So I'll keep putting that off tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm going to work on my apartment for at least three hours, I promise. And not that anybody cares, but that'll be a big event for me, a big accomplishment if I can actually get some stuff organized. And instead of having this HD as my only radio here in the car, I'm going to definitely have a full power radio in my car tomorrow. Yes, yes, that's my main goal. Thank you, thank you. Oh, and when I was in the parking lot today helping a friend pick out some glasses, there was this car there parked just down by Westside. Yeah, Westside. There's the marina there. And I saw this car. And I looked over and I go, boy, it looks like a really flat tire. And I went over and checked the tire. And I thought, man, they better not drive on that. It looks like it had less than 5 PSI in it. So I left a note on the window. And then I went and looked at the tire again. And actually, I went to put some air in it. I know you should never touch anyone's vehicle. But I mean, driving it the way it was, it would have been dangerous. So I took an old-fashioned tire pump and was putting some air in it. And I could hear air leaking out. And I took a closer look. And there was a big gash in the sidewall. So I pinned in the note to say, hey, you got a gash in the sidewall. You cannot drive this car. And alerted them to that. So I guess that was my good deed for the day. I don't know. Poking my nose there probably didn't belong. But I didn't want someone driving in a hazardous car. So I'm going to fly out half a moon and get out there and enjoy the evening. Tomorrow will be another beautiful day, KI7ZEI."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-07-31T12:13:23+00:00","id":12069,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":12068,"text":" This is a new net, come on by if you'd like to check in. So I don't know when it's ever gonna be done, but by the time they get it done, they'll probably have to do something with the southbound lane. Ha ha ha ha. Well Jack, thanks for doing that, and thanks for all the wonderful comments. I remember going to the Renaissance Fair when it was just a handful of people in the woods. Ha ha ha. Up around Ithaca I think somewhere. Yeah, it's come a long ways, and I would have liked to have taken that in if I knew about it. So that's it for me, and have a great Sunday everybody, and 7 GWG. All right Steve, you take care of that foot. Yeah, I'm glad you got to the Urgent Care facility right away, good job. All right, well if I could get you through that, of course, now you've got your medications. And say hi to Donna and the dozer of course. All right, let's go talk to Michael, he's got a comment, WA780. Well Jack, good morning to you, and everybody that's on the net. This is Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta, Michael from my home KTH. This is my regular check in, Jack, not a comment. So anyway, it's a great day, I don't know how the Blue Angels are gonna do it, they have to do the low thing I think, unless it burns off. And let's see, oh the big event for me, I gotta drive up to East Nomes County. We're gonna get together with our Bigfoot team, and I guess go over stuff, I don't know. I've got my list of things I pack, already made up, I do it every year. When I come home I revise it before I go through it again. Anyway, that's all that's going on here, thanks for on the great net. I don't know if you get two check ins, one mobile and one home KTH, maybe you get two marks on your little sheet there Jack. Anyway, everybody have a safety out there, Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta. All right, well normally you would start your day here on the nets as a regular check in with a report, but today you started with a comment. So yes, this is the second entry I have for you there Michael. Hey, but real quick if you're gonna be out that way, Snomish for the Bigfoot 200 race planning session today, any chance you can go by Craven Farm and check that event out? Well, I'm more worried about getting lost in the hicks of East Nomes County trying to find David Ball's house than the Craven Farm, so it's a good almost 45 minute, 50 minute drive out to where I'm going, I'll have to get the map out. Do it. Donor Craven Farm is not too excited about the big trucks and stuff, so that's up, I do have a eight foot, bad F-150, that's all I'll be driving to Bigfoot, so. Hey Jack, that's it, thanks for asking, back to you sir, Whiskey Alpha 7 Alpha Delta. Yeah, I was gonna mention that big truck that you have if you weren't going to, well you know, and hey, can't wait, Robert will be in the parking lot, so all you gotta do is just go to the parking lot and see if apparently I don't think they're charging any admission though, because it's a first time event. You know, I think you probably just get in for free. Anyway, all right, you take care, Michael, have a good time, and let us know how the Bigfoot session goes today. KI7Z, you're on the right track, KI7Z, yeah we're here with Dr. Tim in just a moment, it's 10, 12 a.m., I'm Jack, KI7RMU for the Sunday PSRG, nine o'clock, Ned, Tim, take it away, KI7ZEI. Well it's another beautiful day here in the great Northwest, yeah, starting out a little cloudy, maybe even a little cool, but it's kinda nice having a day like that once in a while and with the mix of the warmer days we've been having. So I think today will be kind of a carbon copy of yesterday's, so I'm supposed to come out. I'm getting ready for a trip this time tomorrow, I'll be half on my way to Alexandria, Virginia, gonna visit some friends there for a couple of days, got some work to do up in the Boston area, so I'm running a car, gonna take a trip for about a week, doing some driving, and back on the 14th. Got some things to do to get ready. I remember three, four years ago they had some kind of big get together down at, I thought it was like Seattle King County Emergency Communication Center. Jack, you might even remember this, or someone will, because there was a lot of hams there. Anyway, it was an emergency services kind of introduction and meeting, and looked like a pretty well-secured facility down there, chain link fencing all around the building down there, it was kind of in Seattle area, dried down, kind of new downtown. Can't find it in the Google though now. But they were taking some questions, and I asked if they were prepared for the zombie apocalypse, and the presenter said no. I don't think I'm prepared either, but that's one of my goals, getting prepared for it. Any kind of apocalypse, zombie or otherwise. Well, with that, wish everyone a good day, and back to you Jack, KI7ZI. All right, Temple, it looks like you will be out of town for the next Rain or Shine, and I'm gonna cover the announcements real quick, right after I stop talking here, and switch over to that. But I do wanna comment, but you will be back in time for the PSARA Antique Radio and Vintage Electronics Swap meet, and I think you went to that last year, maybe the previous year up at Shoreline Community College. Is that one of the shows you went to? I don't think I did go to that. Now that I live in Shoreline, I'm gonna start participating in more Shoreline events, finding out it's a pretty nice place here. But I will go this year, because I'm interested in that kind of stuff. Had an antique radio once, and someone gave me, but it was basically disintegrating the, tuning capacitor, the, it was, had corrosion, and the plates were falling off, and yeah, you know. So, it's been a long time since I had a working radio. Back when I was in high school, my dad took me down to St. Vincent de Paul in Seattle, and we bought this big, shortwave radio, all-band everything, everything, with big, kinda loopy antenna thing, and a little matchy guy for tuning. That was pretty cool. That was kind of my real introduction to heavy duty radio. KI-7 ZEI. Yeah, those worldwide receivers were pretty massive units, too. Well, I've got, talk about massive units, I've got a number of Collins pieces that I'm gonna be taking to that show, I hope, and I've got a great Kenwood Transceiver from back in the day, and that thing is like a tank, too. So, I've got a couple of pieces I'll be taking up there and seeing what we can do with them. All right, we'll have a safe trip to Alexandria. We'll talk to you along the way. I know you'll probably check in many times, and we hope you do there, too, and safe travels to you. All right, so real quickly, here are a couple of events. 10, 16 a.m. Next weekend, we are busy, busy, busy on the night. That's Saturday, the Radio Club at Tacoma does their open house, 10 a.m. to two, and then, of course, later that night, we have got the PS, or not the PSRG, but the Simplex net, there we go, 8 p.m., 146560 every Saturday, but in the middle of the day, 1.30 p.m. On Zoom, we have the next PSRG board meeting, 1.30 p.m. That's August 9th, Saturday, so come on by and join the fun there. Now, on Sunday, though, August 10, PSRG season seven, episode five, Rain or Shine net, it's a new net and ice cream social at Green Lake, so get on the website, psrg.org for all the details there. Come out and have an ice cream with us. That'd be a lot of fun. All right, and of course, the 17th, August 17th, Sunday, again, is the antique radio and vintage electronics swap meet the PSRA at Shoreline. Again, all the information can be found on the PSRG discussion group page and home page. All right, any questions there? Command, call and find a name. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven, November Quebec November. All right, we're still going. Let's see what's out there for the nine o'clock net. If you'd like to join us, RF internet command, call and find a name. West key seven, Oscar Hotel, Dan. All right, Dan, anybody else? KB seven RYY, Dan. Dan, you're on the list. Anyone else, please? K308. Morning Rich, I've got you, anybody else? Kilo Zulu Bravo X-ray Joel. Hi, Joel, I've got you. All right, anybody else? All right, Dan, how are you doing this morning? W70H, go ahead. Doing good, stand by one second. You caught me literally at the drive-through and they were handing me my soda. I had to grab it and put it in the container. I think there's a natural timing when I go for food. I could call the radio in. Anyway, I'm going down to the museum today. Today's the final day of the Seafair Air Show. I don't know if it'll be high. I think it'll clear though it may work. I took a bunch of pictures on Thursday of the Blue Angels and some others flying on the preliminary and it's not a lot over the museum. They moved the center of the air show a little south and east. I was on Newcastle and such, probably don't like it, but it's still great to see there. I'll go down and just stay inside, do my dosage duties. That's the plan for the day. Anyway, I think that's about it for the day. I'm gonna say have a good day. Sorry, I had to wait and try to listen to her and talk to you. Anyway, 73, and I look forward to the ice cream social especially, it's not the ice cream, it's the social. 73W708. All right, Dan, hey, you have a great day, last day of the Seafair. And yeah, get some more pictures if you can. We love putting up the pictures. All right, we'll see you at the Rainer Shine Net. That'll be a lot of fun. KB7RYY, Dan, good morning. Good morning, Jack, this is Dan, KB7RYY. I'm almost recovered from that trek up Mount Pilchuck the day before last. Oh, rocks, I don't like rocks. Anyway, I'm coming back from a hike of half of Boston Creek anyway, and I heard a few things I had talked about. First of all, the shortwave, there was some discussion about a shortwave, I forget what it was, but the shortwave bands are kind of opening up. There's people broadcasting, and funny thing, no Voice of America, no Jammers, what's this mean? Let me let it drop. The other thing was I was gonna talk about, I hosted a few boaters nets this week. Those faithless boaters, you know? Instead of doing that, they gotta go out in their boats. All right, back to you, Jack. KB7RYY. All right, Dan, and some of the boaters go out for a couple of weeks at a time, so I heard a couple of stations are definitely out. So was it kind of a lean pickings, I guess, huh? Yeah, Vic and I were alternating during the week, and then Vic took off. He's up at Port Ludlow, and now I think he can come in on Echo Link, but it's a little. It's the schedule filling up for the next week, so I get a little break. KB7RYY. All right, well, it was nice to hear Carlos this morning. That's good. All right, Dan, well, you have a great Sunday, Santa. You in, please? Let's get over to Rich, West Seattle, K30E. And yeah, the Ice Cream Social, of course, but the other event, oh, Jack. I went there one time so far, and I just may have to go again, you know? And yeah, the one time I did go, I think it was a couple of our fans. I think JD was there, and JD was there. So anyway, I don't know, maybe this time, I guess any game, I'll probably check in the beautiful morning, nice and cool. We're going to get more Roger shortly, that season, I think, really. All right, thank you very much, Rich. You have a great day. Santa had a polo for me, if you would. Let's go see what Joel's up to. Joel, take it away. Hi, Jack. Yeah, nice morning, nice cool morning in Kirkland. We'll take a run later on before this marine layer burns off, because I like it when it's cool. I'm just trying out the HTs, which I heard from good reports. Enjoyed that. One thing is, I can't remember who the operator was, but someone in Lake Washington yesterday mentioned you can listen to the Blue Angels. They have some certain frequencies that load AM as aircraft. But if you do a search for Blue Angels, see their frequencies, you'll find it on radioreference.com. And sure enough, I heard they listen to Airbus and Sol 1, and can make out what they're saying, never can make out what Alice is saying. But it has a new dimension to enjoying the Blue Angels, if you can hear them. That's it, KK7ZBX. All right, Joel. Hey, have a great Sunday. Enjoy sea fair last day. And yeah, just keep tuning in. The more you listen, the more you'll probably be able to make out when they're making transmissions at a couple of miles an hour. It's going to be fun. All right, nice to hear you, Joel. All right, we'll do the last call now at 10, 20, I want to say 12, 24, jeez. 10, 24 AM, I'm Jack KI7, I'll read the last call. Anybody else for the 9 o'clock net? T-Mobile Juliet 7, Romeo Alpha Bravo, Yay for the recheck. Check. All right, 35 minutes from Gates opening up out there at Snohomish Field of Wheels. Take it away, Kami, KJ7RAB. Thank you so much, Jack, Kami, KJ7RAB. We just arrived at the Field of Wheels. Wow, this is pretty impressive. We just won a lot from the parking lot. The guys come back, we open at 11, and Walter explains that we're doing working out at the net, and can we come and just get our parking spot. He let us in, so we're parked where we're going to. So I wanted to ensure that you can hear us clearly, and all is well. We're hearing you crystal clear here. So hoping the same is true on your end. And I'll do a live video running around so you all can see what's happening as soon as they open the gate and let us in. But we're parked here, and we're looking right at the Allied Motor Sports Jeep. So it looks to be awesome already. Thanks for letting me back, and let me know how the signal is. KJ7RAB, back to you. All right, no problem there. Thanks, Cameron. Well, I'm glad you got in. I figured you'd probably talk some sense into it. Hey, real quick, any women-owned Toyota is going to be at this event. Do you know anybody talking about it on the back line? This is repeated. I'm not sure. I haven't seen any chatter about it, and that's bad on me. I should have put some chatter about it out there. It's been a crazy couple of weeks, and I've been a little bit frazzled with work and everything going on in life in general. But one of my goals going forward is definitely to be a little bit more organized. But I'm always on the lookout for those LRT stripes and on the lookout for Toyotas in general. Oh, one of the things, a little bit off topic, but not really, that Robert says he's got going on there. FJ, people don't always wave at each other, and I'm always the one waving like crazy, and people don't always wave back. Well, we were driving down Highway 9 yesterday, and we passed an FJ going the other way. That guy rolled his window down, was waving frantically out the window, and even beeped at me, and I was like, whoa. Because my rig's all built up now, and his looked really stuck. And that kind of made my week, because I'm usually the one waving out the window frantically, and it was the other way around. So I thought that was pretty cool, and I wanted to share that with you. KJ7RAB, back to net. Well, you're a blue FJ. You have definitely earned some bragging rights there. It is really looking good, looking great down at the Communications Museum. We had such a good time looking at that when you rolled in with the new light bar and all that. Oh, fantastic. All right, you have a good time down there. Cammie Robert hosting today at noon, so 90 minutes away or so, from the Field of Wheels into the home. It's that new event out there. Runs 11 AM to 4 this afternoon. All right, thank you, Cammie. All right, anybody else? One last call for the 9 o'clock net."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-03T22:48:39+00:00","id":13942,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":13941,"text":" Coming up we've got a Zero Retries Digital Conference, September 13th in Everett. I didn't mind putting holes in the roof, so I drilled holes freely and had a couple of different antenna mounts up there, NMO mounts. I just used a 3 quarter inch drill. Actually, I used one of those step drills that you get at Harbor Freight Tool. It works really, really well if you're going through the sheet metal. On this new car, I wanted to avoid putting holes in the roof, not because I mind holes in the roof, but because after you get the hole in the roof, then you've got to go through the whole routine of trying to route the cable. You've got to remove the headliner and put it back in. On the old car, I was always too lazy to actually put it back together, so it looked pretty chunky on the inside with things kind of ripped apart. On this one, I decided, okay, I want to avoid all that, so what I'm going to do is to lip mount. I'm going to put it on the back edge of the hood. You raise the hood, and where the back is, like by the windshield wipers, there's a mount that you can put on the edge and then run the wire inside. To prevent having to run the wire into the passenger compartment, I'm going to have the main part of the radio, the RF part, in the engine compartment. I'm still working on the details there, but that way I will avoid a whole lot of headliner removal and cable routing and so forth. It should really, really simplify the setup. I'll let you know how that goes in a few weeks. If it's gonna break, you want it to break early while it's under warranty, right? So go ahead and push some buttons. Give that thing some exercise, crank up the power. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, let's see, what else is going on with me today? Getting ready for a trip. I'm gonna be going back to East Coast, kind of New York, Boston area on the 4th. So I'll be going from the 4th, coming back late on the 14th. And half business, half visiting friends. And so I'm getting ready for that. And my place is still a mess. I've got boxes and boxes, and right now I'm looking, someone asked me if I had a large envelope for sending something off, and I says, yeah. I'm going to call for you again in a couple of minutes. And when I call for you, just come right ahead right away as soon as you hear the call. Let's get some more stations. More stations, name and call. D-3-7, Victor, I can hear you, more on the line. Okay, that's Victor Rico uniform. Let's go to the top place to get rich. T-3-0-E, what's going on with you today, Rich? Good evening, Tim. Thanks for doing that first off. And yeah, it's good to be all over here. And I thought it was time to start getting some crazy antennas working again. I posted a picture and this evening it is my kitchen antenna, which is a bunch of tin cans. So I'm calling it a tin can-tana and it's working just fine. Putting high power into it and yeah, no problems at all. Anyway, great day. Watched all the C-CARE activities on TV. I don't like to fight the crowd, so the view on TV was fantastic. Thanks for doing that, K-3-0-E. Well Rich, you're coming in pretty darn good there. Full strength on the beginning cuckoo. And your tin can-tana sounds like a winner, yes. What was in the cans? Are the cans all the same size? Are they the kind of medium-sized cans or 16-ounce, 32-ounce? What you got going there? And how many are in the kitchen? Well Tim, it's just a whole mix of cans. There's some small ones and some large ones. Anyway, I just posted one picture and yeah, it's a real conglomeration. But you know, some screws and some solder and I got it all together. K-3, I'll be back to you. Okay, well I'm sure it wasn't a random assortment. It's well thought about. You know, a theoretically accurate and effective arrangement and it is working well. So thank you Rich. Let us know when you're checking in on that again. And I'm actually the photos on the Facebook page, so we'll look at that. I haven't checked that. Okay, let's see. We had a station, well the station entered in uniform echo victor. I think it was uniform echo victor that I wasn't able to get before. Would you try coming in now please? Oh, probably a key to the tone of victor echo uniform. Like your magnolia. Are you talking about me? Yes, come here with your report. Sure, thanks Tim. Yeah, I still don't know why I'm here to have her suffer. I'm just thinking, I'm pretty warm you know, in the house here. I can't try to get Katrina to eat her wet food. She's not in the kidney type stuff, doesn't like it. I think I got to go back to my former vet. I mean the current vet is a better price but... So busy and I can't seem to get the right foods that they used to eat last time unless they didn't have allergies to her against it too. And she seems, they seem to be only able to get two brands that are really popular and have a lot of promotional money. And they were doing fine with New Low and during the Pro plan which are not as heavily subsidized regarding promotional and having vet's tier business going. So I got to go back to my best vet, Elliot Vey and down here across from the Seattle Animal Shelter. They got a lot of staff. They're in between on prices and they're really good. So, I'm here. I take my prescription and my lab work and have her prescription proper to get the right stuff. She won't get, she'll want to eat. She's about 50 in. That's doing very well. I just want to get her on the right spook. Keep her living out till 18, 19 if she can. At least that's how my cats have been living. So back to you Tim and I'll, I don't know, I think I'll want to bring out, I'll just put a vest on and I'll wear it as a sack. Thank you for your attention. Well indeed, it sounds like you got the food business in order there. Yeah, it can be frustrating. Cats can be very picky of course. And if there's a limited selection of cat foods available that can make it hard to find the right one. It's not causing any allergies, that they'll eat, you know, they'll thrive on. So it sounds like you got a winner there at the moment. Of course, that selection gets cut down when store of chains merge and so forth. You know, you have one that goes out of business and the other one's got kind of a monopoly. You can't keep up on the variety that you might have if you had multiple stores to choose from. And I guess you could go to one of the kind of red glove, blue glove, red carpet pet stores. It's got really good stuff and really good prices. You can get more variety that way but it can be a little pricey. Anyway, glad you got that handled at the moment. And let's see who else is out there by the way. This is Tim, Kilo India 7, Zulu Echo India, your net host for tonight. It is 9.18 pm and we're just kind of getting warmed up here to do it. Let's get some more check-ins. Make a call."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-21T12:32:34+00:00","id":21080,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":21079,"text":" Alright James, I guess we'll have to find out when we see the live feed tomorrow with Josh at about 5pm. A hard time. Well hey, Tim's only 700 plus miles from the Tokyo Ham Fair. Maybe he could get on a jump flight and get over there and get us some details tomorrow. And then maybe get back on after he gets back. Or maybe live from the Tokyo Fair. What do you say about that there, Tim? How are you? Nice to hear you. KI-7 ZEI. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7 November, Quebec November. Also, notice that I would like to locate and then later be able to wash out a trim that needs an avocado tree trim that I've done several times. One of my favorite pastimes. Climbing trees, if you don't know. Yeah, Underwriters Laboratories. Man, that's over 100 years old. They're, I think, the first major city organization, you know, developing standards and so forth. You know, things like making sure when you plug in your 110 volt device into a 240 volt outlet that it won't go up in flames. You can't stick your fingers into any opening. It's going to cause you to get electrocuted or finger chopped off, what have you. Primarily, you know, electrical standards. There's some other areas that they get into. They are internationally recognized. Depending on the country, some places will allow devices that have UL, you know, certification. That's all they need to get into the country. There's also other regulatory standards such as CE, TUV. When England departed from the European Union, they established their own BIS. And a lot of these are kind of like the BS, where it's just an opportunity for the countries to, you know, require a standard. Then you've got to go through a big testing process and pay them a lot of money. So it's kind of a revenue grab also. Products that we sell are acceptable anywhere in the world. We've got like ten different regulatory agency stickers on there. And it costs money to do all that testing. It's not inexpensive. Well, I arrived in Seoul, South Korea. I left Tuesday night, got here Wednesday, you know, one day difference. 11 and a half hour flight wasn't too bad. Got some good sleep actually on the flight. A little bit of food, although airline food is not what it was 30 years ago for sure. I'm in a pretty nice little business hotel. It's an hour from the airport on bus. And then the factory is another like 20, 25 minutes away by bus. It is our point in South Korea that allows us to do assembly, calibration, testing, and shipment to customers in the US that are starting to say, hey, we don't want to be getting stuff from China anymore. So it's a work around. It's not easy or convenient. It doesn't save anybody any money. But that's the fact of the life. I've got a major customer, a major customer from the US that I know I've talked about a lot before, is coming for a visit today. And I've almost used up my time. I'll be giving a big presentation, very technical for a new project. And that's kind of fun. I'm having it. And then I will be back Saturday evening. KI7, ZEI."}]}
