"text": "Good morning, Jean. Wow. I'm glad I don't have to deal with mole, I guess. Anyway, my son Troy's birthday is Friday, KI7LQA, and Linda Lou's birthday just a week from that, So the day after Thanksgiving, I can't believe I have a son that's turning 60 years old. And well, I won't say how old Linda Lou's going to be, but she's older than Troy. Today's garbage day, get it out anyway. So I'll be hauling garbage down to the street. It's about 600 feet from the house so I use my scooter and I just haul them down with that and it's supposed to rain this afternoon I think so hopefully I can get them down there before this afternoon because I'm not going to get up at six in the morning and get them down there that's for sure. Anyway I hope every, I hope Dave has a good trip to the beach, it might be raining down there too, I don't know, but not as much rain as Southern California is getting. We generally get those rivers of water that come in here in Oregon. I guess the weather pattern has changed and now it's going into LA. Well, they need the rain but probably not that much. Anyway, KB7, PBW, back in there."

"text": "Hi, Bill, in the height of a net. Well, Bill, you got me addicted to Mesh Core. And so I've been flashing nodes like crazy, and I've been experimenting all over the city, Amy, too. We've been having a lot of fun. And our p-patch node that we have hidden in the p-patch on Beacon Hill, That one's doing pretty well. And it's really cool with Mesh Core. You can see how the mesh is routing your messages, your direct encrypted messages to each other, which is really cool. And for Amy and I, we each live on either side of Beacon Hill, basically. So sometimes the path goes over the hill, which is the most direct line of sight path. Well, not line of sight, but as the crow flies path. Sometimes the signal goes all the way to downtown and then comes around the far side of Beacon Hill, which is really fun. Anyway, I'm having a lot of fun with that. Thanks for getting me into that, Bill. I super appreciate it. For anybody out there who has any old Meshtastic nodes, I highly recommend reflashing them with Meshcore and checking it out. It's really cool. So, yeah. Next, you know, another theme that I'm excited about for this week is my whole family is going to see the first home game for the Seattle Torrent. This is our Women's Professional Hockey League team. No, PWHL. Professional Women's Hockey League team. And they played their very first game in Vancouver this week, and Vancouver won. It was a great game, the Vancouver Golden Eyes. So Seattle's going to have their very first game in Climate Pledge Arena this coming Friday. So we're very excited about it. The whole family's going. We're hockey fans, so we're excited about it. And it's nice to be able to go to Climate Pledge. The tickets aren't quite as much as seeing the Kraken play there, but it's just as much fun. So anyway, I'm excited about that. Thanks for hosting, Bill, and radio wave to my friends out there. Always nice to hear everybody on the weekends. KJ7NUW, back to NetControl. Hey, Madeline. Just a quick question. You know, you and I were trying to make contact with direct messages, and it wasn't working. Have you been direct messaging with Amy?"

Let's throw that up there. Happens a lot around the holidays. And of course our hope is that wandering through Costco, finding some goods, you'll go, hey, just become a member. That's kind of the goal of, of, I hope that answered your question. for the nine o'clock med comments questions concerns the first time"

"text": " Well, I don't know how many people know about this story Goes back to pre television for me Late 40s. I listened to the cinnamon bear here in Portland I think it was kind of put on by a store downtown maybe oils and king or something like that And they had they used to sell bear a cinnamon bears, and I don't know that story goes nationwide or not I Don't know if you could catch it on YouTube or anything because it wasn't visual it was only radio, but anyway Probably produced in the late 30s, and I listened to it when I was five or six years old it was a serial it was on every day of about 15 minutes and for after Thanksgiving till Christmas time and The story ended up in the North Pole and Santa was going to contact his elves for the two little stars and Guess what Santa is a ham he talked to his Like To contact his elves he picked up his amateur radio and talked to them, so I got proof That Santa was a half or a what was a ham. I'm sorry Capies check it out Probably oh, I went to a garage sale And I found the original tapes that probably belonged to a radio station and my son Ki7 LQA he put it on a disk for me, and I'll give it to some of the family members But he edited it down so because they do a lot of repeating Anyway, this isn't better check it out kb7 PBW"
