"text": " No, it's a secret. Sure, I can tell you that. It's black. I got a black SUV. It was much, much less than I would pay for a comparable Lexus. I got the SUV. I'm an old man. I can't get into a sedan, especially a sports car. It's too low. So I like the SUV so it's higher. And wait until I drive home with my girlfriend. I hope she recognizes me sitting in my new car. But it's a good looking car. This will probably be my last purchase. I'll keep this in really good shape. When I was living in Seattle, I had a Saab, which I loved. But I've never driven an Alfa Romeo. I've definitely never been in a Maserati. So this is a new experience. I got the base model. I didn't need the fancy engine. This has everything in it except the fancy high power engine. And it's high enough power for me. In LA traffic I can't go more than 25 miles an hour anyway. And I looked, I thought about getting an electric car. And then I realized the range is, I drive down to San Diego on a regular basis. That's 125 miles, 150 miles. And you know, round trip, it's pretty much the range for the day. And definitely I would have battery anxiety. So anyway, I'm thinking of how I'm going to mount a radio. I'll figure that out maybe tomorrow. I'm going home now. I'm driving home now. And to surprise the girlfriend. Anyway, Whiskey 6, Bravo Romeo November, back to the net."

"text": " All right, yeah, the weather yesterday was really good up to, what, about 4 o'clock or so? And then the rain came in in the late afternoon there. And I'm just looking at the radar now. And of course, we do have some rain. We do have some wind. Looks like the rain should be stopping very shortly, because it looks like there's no rain coming from the west there for the rest of the afternoon. So I don't know. Might be a good time to go out there and run between the raindrops and do whatever you're going to do outside. Also, the wind has dropped off quite a bit. I'm not looking at the wind speed right now. But weather's coming from the west. And it looks like I don't see the trees blowing around very much compared to what it was a half hour ago. Thank you, Jack, for your check-in. This is Tim, KI7CDI. I'm your net host today standing in for Kurt. And it is 12 13 here on the Puget Sound repeater. Let's see if we got some more check-ins. Leave a call."

"text": " Hello, Grosie. This is Tim, KR7ZEI, your net host. Well, yes, you seem to be having really good luck with the game in there, so congratulations on that. Not everyone is so successful. You probably have some techniques that are working well for you, so keep up with those. Certainly nice to get bills all paid off and get back to just normal routine rent, mortgage, and food and gas and stuff like that and not having to worry about anything that's otherwise due to the credit guys. Thank you for your check-in, Grosie. I'm going to go ahead and do a few announcements here. Let's see. What have I got? Today is the concept county amateur radio club annual ham fest. It's getting over at 1 o'clock, so if you're not already there, you're probably going to miss it. I think after this, I'll call any members that went to the ham fest that might report how it was there today. Also, we've got a radio club from Tacoma. It has their open house every Saturday from 10 to 2 p.m., so that's still going on for another hour and a half. Members and their guests, hams and all visitors interested in amateur radio, stop by. You can look that up on Radio Club of Tacoma. Get the details there. There's a PSRG board meeting. That's coming up at 1.30 today. It's a Zoom meeting. You can go to our website, psrg.org, psrg.org, and there's a link there that will take you to the Zoom meeting. So that's coming up in just a little less than an hour here, so check on that. October 16th is the annual Great ShakeOut, and this is a test of the earthquake alert system. You can check it out on the internet at lookupgreatshakeout, and there's a, our own website has the link for that, but basically if you look out shakeout.org, S-H-A-K-E-O-U-T dot o-r-g slash Washington, it will give you information about the earthquake drill, to remind people to drop, cover, and hold, and generally to raise awareness about earthquake preparedness. This is going to happen, the alert is going to be at 10-16 on the 16th. Beep."

So I thought it was really good to relax. And get me a food on it. I think that makes all the difference. It's a very low coax. The system itself, I think, works well. It's a great touch to use. It's going to make the change. A little tension to get it together. I think that's enough. Any of them."
