"text": "Interesting. I think that might explain some things. I don't know about my attempts to connect repeaters last night, but I recently took a trip down to LA and my friend in Portland has his own All-Star node. And we were having all sorts of issues getting connected and he was thinking it had to do with ports or something. So basically from what you're saying if I understand correctly is you're trying to get stuff connected and stuff, let it wait, And then also, of course, you need your ports open and stuff. Mike, correct me if I'm saying that patience plays a little bit of a part in it, that five-minute delay you mentioned?"

"text": "Thank you. I won't keep it too long because I know we've got some new guys out here, KU0 of SP and KU4 of UIB. Good morning to both of you. Thank you for joining us for the final comment round. And yeah, Mike, good to hear you. I haven't heard you for a while. Glad to see you're still out there. And right now I'm just outside Salt Lake City. I've got to get over to the shop and get my truck work done because the bunk heater isn't working. working so it won't stay warm here unless I run the truck and I can't run the truck if I'm bobtail because it's not cold enough. But it is cold enough that I want something in here because 40 degrees is not my ideal living condition. I will say 73 to all. I hope everybody has a great day. Make sure you come out here tomorrow with Josh, KJ5-IRQ, his net control, and then Saturday will be VA3-KKY, Kevin. We'll catch everybody then. This is N9-OFU saying 73 and back to net control."

"text": "All right KB9 MSK thanks for doing the net Russell and I want to reiterate for anybody who's listening But I probably will not be available Thursday to do the list. So Hopefully you'll find some of you to stand in and do that Russell will be doing it a new way. And so it's gonna be an important day I'm sorry about not being available, but it's just gonna be so much going on on Thanksgiving. Um, I I did want to make one note that I don't have a gas grill. I had one for years in Morristown. Never got hot enough and so when we got up here I said I want to do charcoal or wood because I want to make it you know I want to be able to make it 700 degrees in there if you need to and the big and the big green egg does that. It can get really hot or it can get very very slow which is perfect perfect for minding. On keyboards you know I have this folding Bluetooth keyboard which is great for traveling. It's an iClever device. I recommend it highly. It can attach up to two things at the same time. It does any operating system you want or at least the top three and it's it's it's really a good machine. But it's always a privilege and a pleasure guys. I'm looking forward to your pictures Josh. And I promised to be much better. And taking pictures of what we make over here because we don't want to be a turducken. If you see frosting in the downstairs refrigerator the low boy. My son is brining a turkey and he's lucky that the weather is good for that so he can leave it out on his back porch because he doesn't have a big enough refrigerator to put the bucket in. But he's going be fine because it's going to be between 40 and 30 all this week so he should be in great shape for that um it's been a day guys you have a great day 73 to all of you and thanks again for doing the net Russell good job this is KC2PKT back to you kv9 and this is repeater station kilo Welcome to the Michigan conference number 96170, located in western Michigan."

I was in my 20s when I stopped it. I stopped smoking in my 30s and that was like 40 years ago. I'm already 70. Turning back to neck control. VO on UKZ. VE3XID."
