Good morning Dale and good morning to everybody here on the worldwide friendship net this is veal one UKZ from up here on the rock yeah, we just finished calling the cowabunga net there and Had a good time over there had to shut it down good final comments out of the way We weren't going to make this one today because a lot of the comments here can go for a very long time. So Made the judgment call to Start final comments there mid-round so managed to get everybody in there though And luckily we still managed to make at least the second half of the net here. So Other than that not really much going on man Just gonna take it easy trying to see if the rain is going to hold off if it is I'm going out in the woods because the wind is blowing and I'm betting that it's gonna be a lot calmer Down in one of those valleys where I like to ride there Just sit by the pond, but it's not gonna be any fun if the rain starts Do have rain clothes in the trunk on the bike. It's got a front trunk, which is crazy I've never seen a front trunk on an ATV before but this one has one There's lots of room in there, too so I put my rain gear in there and just in case and Yeah, lots of fun this new machine. I tell you man what new to me machine is much much more powerful than what I was riding previously Previously It's just it's like night and day The amount of power especially when it comes to crawling over stuff and you know rocky sections and things like that man It can really move Other than that though. I just want to jump in here and say hello. We sure buddy a good morning and We'll catch you later, man. I'll be tuned in here having a listen. This is the old one you crazy
Hey, my name is Barbara in the net, KI7BR net control along with Grandma Clarice there and friends, KG7YFE. Glad to hear that you had a really good trip. I mean, I didn't get to hear the story of it because I came in late, got up late as usual. Well, yeah, like with this hot weather, I really haven't really felt like doing much getting out and walking around and I waited until yesterday evening, took a walk over to Jack in the Box and got a late supper and came back home and pretty much it because it was just too hot. But yeah, walking is good for us. It's a good thing, you know, for me anyway because really it's the only mode of transportation I've got other than public transit. But yeah, just getting out there around other people and, you know, getting and going in like into a restaurant around others and just hanging out and eating dinner and listening to other people chat, you know, not trying to eavesdrop or nothing, but just hearing other people around and talking with friends and even hanging out with friends like in the music thing, you know, being a couple of guys, that's really good for me. For me, good self-help therapy of sorts, you know, instead of having somebody say you have to do this or that, you know. But anyway, this is a good topic today on what we do for our own mental health and well-being, you know. And even this ham radio is good too for me. I'm actually reaching out and, you know, however virtual it is. So with that, I won't keep it long and thank you for the net, Barbara. And again, welcome back from the vacation and you guys all have to take care and we'll catch you again sometime throughout the week. So with that, I encourage you all to keep coming back and keep up the good work with the net. This is a test of DR from KC7YFE.
Yes, KG7RKF, Barry, Las Vegas, Nevada. Yeah, I can run, but I cant hide obviously. Anyway, thank you so much for taking my call. Thank you so much for your service to amateur radio and doing this. I always thank the dedicated amateur world water furnaces with the system so that we can participate in voice over the internet protocol. But before I go any further, Dale, KG7YFE, I believe youre still on the conference server here. When you get a chance, try to give me a clue as to whats happening with the world conference server, on my end or is the world conference server down. And anyway, back here, Barry, currently its 90 degrees on the Las Vegas strip and probably about 85 or 84 degrees. Im 900 feet high in Las Vegas. Its totally overcast. It stays like this. I dont know if it will ever hit 105 today, but who knows. And then next week, were going to be in the 90s. So thats whats going on weather wise here. One quick break. Im trying to break, but I cant. Im going to come back on a recheck. KG7YFE, back to net control. Yeah."
