"text": "But as far as muscle cars, I would say John Deere tractors are as close as we got to muscle cars were from Iowa. Back to you Jack W-0-X-O, Big 73. Alright, the VW Combi\u2026 I don't know why I remember a muscle car. That's interesting. Alright, well it's a cool photo regardless, oh that's fantastic. Alright, well have a good time today with brother and sister. We do find a place and of course in Seattle there's a million coffee joints should not be an issue. Have a good squabble my friend. Alright, we had an I-O from Bill, KG7FW, B-LIS head down to Tacoma, KF7-A-Z-V. Alec, good morning. And good morning to you Jack and everybody else. Um, everybody gets your logs out. Okay, ready, make note of this. Ken now has Sunday and Monday's off so we can't talk."

"text": "So I'm going to be out there today, pounding a grounding rod in, and wiring up a grounding rod, and getting the hardware together, and getting the wiring together to hang the new antenna that I got at the Nradiational Seaside. Get that hung up, and should improve my signal, and should improve my reception some. So I'm looking forward to getting that done. Getting that done this weekend, and hopefully before the real heat kicks in on Sunday and Monday. Anyway, thanks for the flying report, Ron. That's always good to talk to you. And the seven VLXs back to the net. Wait, comment. Can I jump in there with that? I'll go ahead. Sorry about that, Ron. KG7FW be returning. Just wanted to mention that my first cross-country was up to Bellingham and back, then from my commercial, I went to Shelton. I think it was called Sanders and Field, and then to Eugene and back to Seattle. Thanks. KG7FW be."

Keto 5.7, Alpha Zulu, Victor. Alec, I've got you on the list. Who's next? WQ7H, this is James. All right, one of the sons of Norway. Sounds like he survived. I think it was yesterday's big conference we'll find out James standby. KG7FW, be built. Good morning. How are you on a Sunday? Go ahead, please. Welcome morning, Jack, and everybody. I had a good night last night with music, playing a guitar."

"text": "I'm liking that, Rebecca, 88, and good morning to you, KG7FWB. Well, I just had a phone call with my friends down in Las Vegas, Bob and Karen, and talked to my sister last night, and she's moving again. At first she was going to leave here, but at Boise, Idaho, and it was almost set up, and then they changed their mind, and so now they're going to sell their home, put it on the market in february and head over to idaho i think she'll be much happier there anyway got the car back yesterday talked to the manager he knocked a few hundred dollars off the price so that was nice of him so got the car back and yeah nothing else going on So, I'll hand it back to you. You have a good day. KG7FW, boo. Bill, that's a lot going on. That's so much. Oh my gosh. Your sister's moving to Idaho, and you got your car back, which is great. And, yeah, well it's good to hear, it's good to, I was, I'm grateful to hear your report. I love your continued friendship with your friends in Las Vegas. Vegas I think that that's wonderful as I love to say you can't make old friends but yeah well have a wonderful day and yes congratulations on getting your car back and I look forward to hearing from you again I guess around noon right 73 and 88 bill next on the list is one of the many riches w4 RCH please come ahead with your report. This is repeater station kilo kilo. This is W4RCH. Rich, I'm sorry I had trouble getting the internet connected on Echolink I guess. Kept picking up interference and I could not get in here but I hope I'm in now. This is Rich. As I said I'm on Echolink and I'm in Mesa, Arizona. Just got here a couple weeks ago from actually Lake Stevens and talk about moving. We've got our house for sale up there it's been for sale for a while but it's a very slow market in zip code and in our price range so we just keep hanging on got down here to Arizona a few weeks ago got the bad news that a lipo battery on our golf cart needs to be replaced after eight or nine years and where those were about twelve or fourteen hundred dollars at that time they have not going down in price they've actually gone up and now we're looking at a $2,600 bill yeah one on the good side we're looking forward to the superstition amateur radio club super fest supposed to be one of the largest fest in this entire general area and it's coming up this Saturday they've got presenters from all over many prizes so we're looking forward to that just a little local information it's been in the mid 80s since we've been here I know that's a little different than Seattle area but then again that's why we here anyway this is w4 RCH in Mesa Arizona back to net control well ain't that the truth Those batteries are not free, but they are great. They last such a long time. You will be able to be golf carting around like nobody's business. So yes, they are very expensive and they last forever, until they don't. right? But anyway, Rich, welcome to Mesa, Arizona. I have been there many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many times. One of my dad's favorite aunts lived there, so we would go and visit. And yeah. Well, 7-3, and have a wonderful day, Rich, and I appreciate your report. This is Rebecca, KK7IJZ. Next on the list is Tomaz, G7RJJ. Hi Tomaz, please come ahead with your report. Hi Rebecca and Vanessa, KG7RJJ. Reporting from UW. Just came here for the Finnish coffee and breakfast. Well, that's before finished coffee. Tea and breakfast. I got some vegan spices and meat tofu sandwich. I'm already half done with that. Some remote working here this time didn't forget my laptop charger like I did last week. It's a little bit drizzly not too much rain so I guess I can walk without my hood on but I took my wrinkle just in case. It's typical Seattle winter. That's about it. KG7RJ2 handing back to Rebecca."

"text": " And a good evening everybody, it's Dave, M3NTV, I'm over at South Dakota. The following news is from the Dew Drop Inn, please stand by. That's right, Santa will be making his rounds and for 15 straight years, my little helpers at the Dew Drop Inn have been keeping their highly caffeinated eyes peeled on the radar. Join us on the Santa Watchnet, starting at 1800 hours Eastern Time. As always, my number one elf, Dave, M3NTV, will be keeping track of old Santa's location. And for the very first time, we will live stream the net on YouTube and Facebook. Oh, what a treat! Just look up M3NTV. And I just upgraded the radio in my sleigh. All the better to keep contact with the good children all over the world. So, be listening for N1S, that's number one Santa! Gather up the little ones, let's get them checked in because third party traffic is always on the nice list. Once again, it's the Santa Watchnet, 15 years in a row. Christmas Eve, 1800 hours Eastern on the Dew Drop Inn Echo Link Conference Server. Note number 355800 and live via N3NTV on both Facebook and YouTube. Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! And 73 from me, number one Santa, and all my little helpers at the Dew Drop Inn. Ho ho ho ho!"

"text": " Alright, Joan. Hey, Joan, are you on the way up here on the bike by chance? My M-Haul is to ride my bicycle to the nearest light rail station, which is just a handful of blocks away, fewer than, about four blocks away, and take it to Roosevelt Station and then head north on 12th Avenue, and then I'll go over, I guess, to, I forget which avenue it is, oh, yeah, to Roosevelt Way again, and head north to the reservoir. So, using transit, it would be 33 minutes if I took, I think, the 67 or something, but I'm going to take my bike from Roosevelt Station to Maple Leaf Reservoir Park. So, I'm estimating 40 minutes should be enough time for me to get there. TX2CW back."

"text": " Good afternoon everybody. Yeah, let's see what to talk about. My TR9000, I popped the bottom open. Closest to the mic connector, that's my 2 meter all mode 10 watt Kenwood. And I got the mic. There was no connector on the mic but it's also, it was probably wiped and they just pulled it up and sold it at his. As the radio, the eBay description said it was untested because there was no mic or power supply. So it looks really good inside and it probably runs. And the mic connector is sort of reachable. I might pull it out and wire up the 5, 4 wires and a shield or just wait until the connector comes but I think I'd rather get in there and test it and use it. Nice little heat sink on the back and it's got a slide mount for car. And yeah, it'll be a good second radio here that's running this T74. I still haven't called Kenwood to see if they fixed things in California. And I don't really want to send it to you and I have the radio again. But for the F6 that I'm holding, this diamond tri-band HT antenna works fine with it if I just don't crank it down all the way. And the adapters that I have just don't work very well at all. You've probably heard about the Pasternak enterprises that I've looked up. Boy, if you need a connector in any type, in any durability, in any frequency, in any vis-war standard of any connector type. And boy, I had no idea there were so many different kinds of connectors and materials and certifications and for optical and for coax and goodness knows what else. So check out Pasternak. Otherwise, just enjoying the afternoon outside here and transplanting a hydrangea that somebody gave me. And my fig's doing very well. And I'm still moving topsoil around up to the alley and fixing the alley potholes. It makes it dusty up there but it's a smooth diamond. So back to you and to the net. Thanks for letting me check in, Jack. KG7VEU."

You know, I know I had to have a shot of bridging stuff at 1 am the other, I think it was just 3 am, and I just told the nurse at 10 o'clock, I said, when she's ready, don't wake me, just stick me, and don't bug me. I don't remember her coming in at 1 am, so, you know, I figure, you don't need to tell me, you don't need to say that there's going to be a little poke, 1, 2, 3, I could care less, I've been poked and prodded so much, I wouldn't even notice it.
