"text": "and there hasn't been any rain in the last 24 hours. The parameter is low at 10.06 and it's steady there and that's 29.70. That's it from Camino Island and thanks for running the net this morning Roger. This is Bob W89BBE73. Always good to get your perspective on the world from the middle of the western edge of that island Bob you get a good outlook for an awful lot of the sound. Let's go on down to Marriott KG7CNQ. Good morning Roger and good morning to the net. This is KG7CNQ mobile. My QGH is in Bellingham this morning where it's 58 degrees. We've got that cloud cover that Bob reported to. It's really a nice morning here but it's cloudy and there's a bit of breeze. The things have changed since yesterday for sure."

"text": "Good morning Bob and Lynette and happy Christmas to all. This is KB7GL, the name is Vic 2TH South Kirkland, Motor Vessel Shasa. And it's a pretty decent morning here. We don't have anything coming out of the sky. We're completely overcast, we've got good visibility. I think there's a little rain scheduled for later today and for the next day after that. The weekend looks great. Maybe a three day break here, three or four day break. might see some more sunshine. It's a little cooler than it was yesterday, 38 degrees right now. There's no wind. What there was was out of the north. I guess that system just continues to move north of us. It didn't cause much activity here. We saw a gust of maybe 12 knots up at the 30-foot level at the weather station, but that was about it. So it's kind of a non-event, which is welcome. And our barometer has, it did also rise as Mary mentioned, dropped just slightly, it's been flat for several hours now at 29.56. Solar activity is just about the same as it was yesterday. The numbers are about the same. The solar flux is holding right in the 130s right now and the geomagnetic noise is pretty low. There is some activity over on the east limb that will eventually rotate in the view in the next couple of days. It may cause a little more activity but right now there's just not much going on. The coronal hole is kind of rotating away from us so we're out of the strike zone of that. A fairly decent day on HF. Nothing on 10. The normal stuff on 15 and 20. A lot of single sideband nets going on this morning on 40 meters. I listened to two or three of those and a lot of 40 meter activity and of course the upper part of the 40 meter hand band is just It's loaded with the shortwave broadcast stations right now. Everybody have a nice Christmas and enjoy the holiday. This is KB7GL."

"text": "Yeah, the HOHO address is universal. You could be in the UK and write to them. You could be in New Zealand and write to them. Anywhere you want to be around the world, any section of earth you reside. I would assume that you need a backup person to employ the scheme. So first you need, well no, you would be the backup person because what you do is you need You can interceive the letter for your kid and read it so you know what the letter wants and then you got to go and affect the gifts because I don't know if they do that. I think they only just answer letters, the Canada Post. I mean if they send, I mean I don't know, it doesn't seem like it's far fetched to put like a candy cane or I don't know, just a really small toy or something in the letter but I just don't see them doing that so I think it takes two people to work that one out and the herb well yeah I think I think I could tell you that at times when I smoke it does sort of change my voice in a way but as far as like whether other people can tell well I could tell you this when I go out to public functions and that I really don't like to do it then. You know I want to wait until I get home because it just makes me kind of sleepy and lethargic. I don't have this, like I'm starting to kind of see that there's phases. Like young people view it different from older people. Young people say they stays high. I stays lit. I stays lit up like a Christmas tree. That's not realistic once you get older. You know? Because that stuff just puts me the hell out. So I can't just be like that in the middle of public, like in the daytime. So it doesn't work the same that it worked when I was 15. So that's for sure. There's a big difference at 50 and at 15. I don't know. I don't know if others feel that way, but I would assume that priorities kinda take place and you don't feel this whole I'm gonna get fried all day and all night. Okay, I'll pass it back to you. I'm still here. VA3KKY."
