"text": "Hello, Bill, and thanks for doing the net. Yeah, it's Jeff here on the San Francisco Bay. Today was sunny and a little cool here. I actually turned my heat on this morning and warmed up the apartment and did pretty good through the day, and I'm getting ready. I might just turn it on again. See, there's squirrels running around, as usual, and having a great time chasing each other and eating the nuts and peanuts. Yeah, I saw Rocky and skitters. I didn't say tiny, or I don't think I saw a princess today, so maybe they'll take on vacation. I'm watching the Huskies play football right now, and it's been a lot of fun to watch the game, and UCLA is not playing well, it's almost pathetic. It's good to hear everyone, yeah, temperature here today was about 59 degrees here for high, which is, yeah, rather than puke around about it. I had a few contacts today off the VSD repeater, And I was glad to do that. So it's kind of fun to hear everybody talking about all the different repeaters that are out there working. So with that, I'll turn it back to Annette. Thanks for doing it again. This is AB6MB. Well, thank you, Jeff. Thanks for the good report. I'm glad you're checking in on PSOG over the weekend, helping out, giving people contacts. Those are totally legit. As long as the people in the contest are coming in on RS, it doesn't matter. you can help everybody along with internet contacts. I've been watching squirrels too up here by the way. We have these spindly vine maples in the backyard and this time of year all the leaves are off but some of those little seed pods are stuck and the squirrels go up there and get them and eat them of course and it's just hilarious because by this time of year all of the ones that are easy to get to are gone so they crawl further and further out on these little floppy branches, and they go flopping down and hang upside down, and it's kind of cute. They never fall, thank goodness for those, I guess. They know what they're doing. Very good, thank you. Now it is finally time for Joel. I don't know why my eyes skip down so early, but Joel, come ahead, and I'll need your phone call sign, of course. K7WFB, listening for you."

"text": "KJ5IRQ, this is KC2PKG in a wading East Machias. We're waiting on the storm that is going to hit Peter. It's probably already hitting AB1AI. It's stretching all the way across the country, so there's no dodging it. We'll see how much we get. It's supposed to rain like crazy, and we're going to have high winds here. And it's already broken up most of the ice on the lake. There's still some patches, some ice flows that are moving around the lake, but most of them have been beaten up. The temperature went up to 48 degrees. So I expect all the cats will be driven in once it starts raining. And that won't happen till around lunchtime, 11 o'clock, something like that. So I'm gonna be finding something else to do. Anyway, put me on the long list, Josh. I'll be awaiting your call. This is KC2PKG back to you, KG5 IRQ."

"text": " It's perfect. It's perfect. I love it. I love Christmas decorations. I feel like Christmas decorations, lights and things, things that are like festive and happy should be up all year round. We have lights up inside and outside of our house all year round. All year. The whole entire year. The whole thing. P to B. Top to bottom. And I have strategically incorporated Halloween lights as well. I love it. And we have a Hanukkah wreath. What? We are a culturally mixed household and families and yes, we love it. We love it. We love it. We love it. Well, it's always good to hear from you and I think that's hilarious thinking about Dozer just sitting there. Please, just a little bit. Even if it's left-overs. And he does the same thing. Even though she doesn't eat people's food. 73 Steve, thank you so much for letting us know about all those fun cars. Next on the list is Arthur, K-E-7 N-U-I. Good morning Arthur. How are you doing this morning? This is repeater station kilo kilo. Hello. Good morning to the net. All star node 62. Yes indeed. Here's a cheer to having lights not just for the winter but all year round. I have a pretty cool set of those rope lights that are different colors. I love how I can change their mode to different things. They have certain color combinations. Obviously there's the red, white, and green Christmas mode. And there's a 4th of July mode. And there's obviously red, red, and blue. And there's a mode that seems to be like, I'm going to call it Cinco de Mayo slash Thanksgiving. It has kind of pastels. So that was the theme I set last month. And then there's kind of a more spring, a similar one for Easter I guess. But yeah, it's kind of interesting how holidays get colors associated with them. We had a purple for Halloween. And we actually had a discussion recently about why purple has become a Halloween color. And so I guess part of the whole being re-marketed towards being a family holiday and little kids and all that. But yeah, I'm just kind of working. And I needed a social break from GitHub actions. Yes, I've been in the CICD land. And I'm sure a few of you out there are chuckling because you've probably dealt with CICD which is having computers build your software and run all the tests and things like that. Which a lot of the stuff would be much easier if you didn't need security to keep the bad guys out. But obviously security requires a lot of tooling and tokens and things like that, checkouts of short-lived tokens, all that stuff that kind of makes it into a little bit harder of a configuration when you're doing it right. But I guess that's why we get paid to do what we do in tech land. But yes, otherwise I'll be daydreaming about things on the radio and hopefully get to the noon net which I've been missing the last couple days being busy with all the things. I did get to co-work with one of my co-workers. My friend from Wenatchee was here in the area yesterday. Of course we got pretty distracted by watching the video of the levee breach in Tukwila. I'm glad that wasn't worse. That could have been obviously really bad. And I know they evacuated a lot of the area causing a massive traffic snarling. So my apologies to anybody who was affected by that. But yeah, not fun. Here's to the levels going down. I haven't looked at the forecast today. Maybe it'll be \u2013 I'm not sure if it'll be better or worse. But good luck to everybody out there commuting and living in those areas. So that's my report. Have a great Tuesday everybody. And 73 from KE7 in UI."

"text": " All right, he's in the tech industry. So I had that yesterday. The truck, that's still in shop status. They went over to the shop and asked him about the truck. And then they said, well, take it. Well, he was going to bring it in later. And I said, well, can I go get the bee service? And they said, yeah, go ahead and get the bee service and bring it back. So I went and did the bee service and told them about the open work order on it. They did the bee service. Turns out there was a leak in the oil pan, so they couldn't do the oil change. But they did find some other evidence of the exhaust leaking. So they put in the work order for that. And then they had to put a tire on there on the steer. And then brought it back over to the other shop. And he had to order the kit for the differential seal. And he had to order the oil pan. The oil pan is going to be in today. And the kit will be in this morning. So I'm going to have to run that truck over so they can get it into the shop when they get ready and take care of that. So it's been a crazy couple days, crazy week, crazy couple weeks. So I'm just waiting to see what happens today. Hopefully we'll get back on the road today. And we'll go one more week. And then I'll have my student back in Phoenix next week, probably Thursday. And so he can test out and get his own truck. And I'll take a couple days off. All right, this is a 9-0-F-U. Back to KG5 IRQ? Yeah, I think that's it. Go ahead. Beep."

"text": " I don't think so. I'm fixing to probably order it from the show of life, I think, I'm going to probably order it. I don't know if I should keep the antenna coming through. I have an active market antenna here that I use, that I could probably use. So these are the models that are out there. I'm looking at two different kinds. I'm looking at the one, I'm going to buy the one that you all are looking in. I hate using my tablet. Any time you touch the screen of your tablet on PTT, it turns it off. But they also have some DML models, and they don't seem to be too expensive. So I'm thinking about ordering one of each. I'm definitely ordering the, it's going to be the K6, because that's the only one I can find. I already have a programming cable. It looks like it's the same Kinrit programming cable also. If it's not the same cheap wrong Kinrit cable, let me know. I already have one for my pay. Anyhow, Daryl, do I need to order anything else with this?"

"text": " Probably not, briefly. I think one of the things they should do is ban super-patrons on both sides. I mean, pack your aids on limited funds, and technically they're independent, although they coordinate independently and on official aids behind the scenes. So basically, they're doing the system. Then you've got dark money. Dark money is something that non-profits can give. Things like 501-c34s, for example, that don't have to disclose to donors. Isn't that kind of odd, why we do not want to disclose to you, given that you're probably hedging your bets? Or that you're paying somebody else's equal to ensure that the election gets stolen from the U.A. It's all found conspiratorial. Before it's not, you'll find out that the things that I'm listing have happened in the past and have not been fixed by any law or any other mechanism. Okay. One of the things I think they should do is implement term limits in Congress. I think that's vital. I think we've removed term limits from the president, right? I think that's vital. We do not have term limits in Congress. I mean, I can bring up names on both sides of the aisle that's lost their mind while serving in Congress. Some people died in Congress in the 17th and 18th, because the people behind them don't want to let them retire. And it happens on both sides of the aisle, so I'm not attacking anyone. But term limits need to happen. Funny enough, I don't think anything else is being put in court. We're going to have to stop the way the Supreme Court has served workers. I don't like the fact that Texas, because they're elected Supreme Court justices, and they only get to serve ex-lumptious. That leads to the same thing that we're having with Congress and presidents who are elected to money. And that's the virtue of all evil, some people say. The single option really is to cross a threefold amendment, but it's never going to happen ever. Not for elections. So at the bottom of the day, what really boils down to is the United States citizens have the will to rule something like this. I mean, there are some movements like represent us, and we move to amend and get citizens united. And they are pretty great, mostly on a local or state level. But really the issue isn't local or state levels right now. It's federal. And until we address the core issues of how much money is thrown about to sway an election, to make that the worst... That's on par with the workforce. That is on par with an outside country and worse for our elections. I just think it's tearing us apart. With that, something in the back, I hope you."
