Hey, drive safe. Hey, two things. I don't know if you follow the Mariners as much as Andrew does. I don't know if anybody follows the Mariners as much as KF7, LNX, Andrew. But I know one of their players just set a Mariners record, and I tell you, it's a tough record, too. But most home runs in a season by a Mariner, not until, but, what am I trying to say? The only Mariner to do it since Ken Griffey way back in the day, 50 home runs. And I just cannot remember the player's name. Do you know who that was? Oh, yes, sir, Jack. That would be our catcher, Cal Raleigh, who is having a stellar season would be an understatement. You want a little bit of information here. He's currently leading the league in home runs, which is impressive in and of itself. Last time I saw he was at 50 home runs. And, yeah, that might be the most home runs by a Mariner since Ken Griffey Jr. I remember Ken Griffey Jr. had a high of 56 back in the day. But Cal Raleigh has set a few records, one of which recently was most multi-home run games by a switch hitter. And that is a major league record. And, oh, I'm blanking on the name of the person who he surpassed to do that, but he was a Hall of Famer. I think he also, the other person is, yeah, he had passed Griffey on that list as well. But for a while there he was on pace to hit more home runs than Barry Bonds. I haven't looked to see if he's still on that pace or not, in a single season anyway. But, yeah, he's definitely, definitely quite impressive. And he's also a clutch hitter and he's a great defender. And a catcher. He got the most home runs ever by a catcher, was the other thing that he's done. No catcher in major league history has ever hit more home runs than he has. That's pretty cool. Cal Raleigh is his name. Yeah. Alright, Jack, back to you. Tammy here, KJ7RAB, and radio waves to Rich if he's listening. Robert confirmed that that is the case with that antenna. I've got some pictures of it. It was quite impressive. The house is on a gated country club, and I believe that antennas are kind of not allowed and so he painted it with camouflage paint. And then there were some antennas up in the trees there. He's got a drone that he used to put some of the wires up in the trees and also some other more primitive methods. We had an antenna launcher that was built out of PVC tubing and then a compound bow that was fashioned in a way to launch wires up into the trees. So that was interesting to see. And yeah, all of the gear, a lot of really nice radios, some boat anchors. And it's interesting to see how a person's shack is set up. It's nice to help someone, but it's also, in a way, I think it's better that we didn't know the person, but on the other hand, it would have been nice to know the person. Based on what his wife was saying, he sounds like quite the individual. He was a race car driver, he was a fighter pilot, very much into fast cars and radios and stereo gear and RC cars and planes. And he had a lot of hobbies, as it seems hams oftentimes do. Some similar hobbies that we've seen with other hams and some different hobbies, but a lot of hobbies nonetheless. And she's just a really, really lovely person. And so it's always nice to meet a new person. She's also a ham. And just to make that connection and to be able to help somebody out. And then the thing that I forgot to mention on the 9 a.m. net today was that we had some extra time, so we were able to stop off at that bakery in Polsbo and pick up some treats. We haven't eaten them yet, but I've heard lots of people talk about that bakery, and I've never really been through Polsbo before. It's super cute and the bakery was really impressive, and I can't wait to eat my bakery treats tomorrow. Thanks so much for hosting. Thanks for getting us in all the numbers. And thanks for everything that you do. KJ7RAB, back to net control. Well thank you, Cammie. That bakery, I've never been to that bakery. I've heard about it though. That's going to be good stuff. Yeah, that visit with this woman and all this equipment, I must have just made for a fascinating day. I love when you were talking about all his stealth, his camo antenna and his drone. And when you started talking about the PVC, I thought you were going to tell us he had a catapult or something, but a compound bow, that's pretty much the same thing. He wasn't going to let any, no fighter pilots were going to let any HOA slow him down that much. That's a great report, both of you. Thanks so much. Let's go over to Andrew, KF7LNX, who was mobile earlier when I was doing my testing. Are you back home, Andrew? I am not at home actually. I'm actually out in West Seattle just enjoying a nice evening actually. And it's been a long time since I've been out at West Seattle as well, so I figure, you know what, it's a nice night out there and I have the extended holiday weekend, well the three day weekend and then I've taken some extra time off from work as well. So I figure, you know what, let's go out to West Seattle and enjoy the city lights, you know, from across the water, you know, which I'm doing exactly just that here and yeah, it's a really nice evening. Actually pretty, actually pretty calm for West Seattle, not a lot of people out there about that I first thought, you know. But yeah, anyways, had a really good holiday weekend so far. Actually was able to make a couple of radio sales actually, so I'm actually parting ways with a couple of my Motorola's that I have here, so tried to shred them, excess inventory and make a couple bucks, you know, here and there here. So yeah, that's actually working out pretty good. So, but yeah, I'm also, for those that are, you know, UW fans and like to watch college football, that is currently ongoing right now over at the Husky Stadium. So far last report is we are winning 14 to 7 against Colorado State with less than 8 minutes left in the second quarter. So it looks like the last current drive was coming from UW actually, which they made a pretty large rushing yard for almost 30 yards actually. So yeah, anyways, if you're wanting to watch something and you like college football, definitely the place to watch. And that's on the Big Ten network here. So yeah, anyways, other than that, just been doing a couple of photography here and there, railroad photography that is, and I think I'm probably going to get some nighttime photography done here since I'm out here and I got my photo here with me in my car here. So I think I'm probably going to end up doing that after my check in here. So everyone have a great weekend and yeah, we will chat later. 73 to everyone, and a private LNX formal. Okay, F7 LNX, Andrew, thank you so much for that report. This is K7WFD. It sounds like you're just having a great evening out there. West Seattle is such a fun place. Gosh, I think last week I got over there three times because it was so nice to take a walk along Alki. I just love that area. And then you can take, I like taking the ferry from downtown over to Marination Station. That's a great area. Very good. Thank you so much, Andrew. Let's go over to the East Coast, find out what's happening there, what's the view from the East Coast. Bill's window is in Washington, oh well, in Arlington, Virginia. It's time for the 9 o'clock PSRG social net for Saturday, August 30th, 2025. I'm Bill, K7WFD. My usual co-host Rich, WB7J, is in Mexico and has somewhat funky internet connections, so he's not going to be able to co-host tonight, but perhaps he'll check in. This is a directed social net that happens on the WW7 TSR 2-meter repeater, which is located on Capitol Hill in Seattle and operated by the Puget Sound Repeater Group. The repeater operates at a frequency of 146.96 with a negative offset and a TL tone of 103.5. All licensed hands and new licensees just getting started are welcome to join. If you have third-party traffic, we'd like to hear from them too. We encourage you to press that button, tell us a little bit about yourself, your radio projects, or just about anything else. As always, please limit your reports to three minutes so we can get as many stations in as possible. This is also when the repeater times out. When you're finished with your report, please end with your call sign. That'll keep the FCC happy. We'll be compiling lists of stations that would like to check in, and then we'll ask for your reports. If you'd like to check in only, just let us know. You'll be in and out, also known as an I.O. Again, this is Bill, K7, WFB. Let's get the net started. Please come ahead now with your call sign and your name.
