I'm up in Maryville, Washington at my TTH. Here is my wife, Jennifer. She's giving us a happy face and a wave. And my rabbits, my station manager, Tubby, Tubby Tamale, he's around here somewhere. I think I just heard him chewing on something. Anyway, I had a lovely weekend here. My youngest stepchild here just got an apartment in Everett, so has been moving out and making some trips over there and kind of make sure that they are all tidied up and stuff and so that was good. Tonight was the last night of Hanukkah so we lit all of our candles and had some latkes and all of that good stuff and I will just say on a personal note even though Hanukkah isn't known for having a lot of expensive gifts or big gifts per se it's really not a Jewish Christmas it just kind of aligns close to Christmas a lot of people think it is but you know a lot of the gift giving and stuff is very minimal or just low dollar value let's put it like that but my wife did get me the Goonies Lego set so I am super excited about that so I'm not sure how many thousands of pieces it is but oh my gosh has so many characters and such the the pirate ship one-eyed Willy's ship and stuff this will be fun to put together it'll probably take me some time here anyway excited about that let's see also to this weekend. Yesterday I played with the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra. Their annual holiday concert was over at Bastyr University in Kenmore. It was a lot of fun. Some bunch of Nutcracker music for the first half and then kind of sing along and a singer more pops and popular and some secular Christmas tunes for the second half there and stuff. So a lot of fun. Glad I was able to do that. So let me reset. So I am on call for work. the next two days here so I'll be up nice and early starting at 6 a.m. work hours and then I will have the Christmas Eve Christmas Day off here although both my wife and I will be playing the string quartet at a couple of different churches on Christmas Eve there so we'll be kind of busy there all afternoon and into the evening for Christmas Eve and then I will see what happens on Christmas Day there so all right that's all I got I'm gonna send it back to myself ke 7k that Thanks."},{"callsign_confidence":0.8700000000000001,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-12-24T11:41:25+00:00","id":94753,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":94752,"text":"I'm just chuckling. Let's roll to the top. Hunter, how are you tonight? KK7 and QN, please come ahead with the report. I'm doing pretty good. I'm continuously recording. So I had 20, 30 in the morning working on it last night. I recorded my new AEI servers. Numbers on the scene times were one-to-one. to a one minute audio file to the AI server. It's like a 10 to 1. Like right now I'm turning, but it was a lot of work, but just seeing all the cool numbers go by is really satisfying. A7NQN. Hey, very cool. Wow, going from a 1 to 1 to a 10 to 1 with the AI server, that is impressive there. So, oh my gosh, 22,000 audio files. I would hope you have If you're still trying to process that at one to one, oh my gosh, I can't imagine. So very cool. Well, glad you've got that going there and the node all worked itself and it was recording all that time. So very cool. Well, thank you for sharing that with us tonight, Hunter. Happy holidays coming up here and we'll catch you down the log here. All right. Last on this round. Mel in Yakima, I do say, I don't know if I've ever talked to you before. I do find myself in Yakima quite often there and I was just looking up actually where your address is and it looks like you're actually way kind of on the west there. We will move on. So we've been talking about, you know, what do you know about your state's history? And we went through the list and we learned a lot of really cool stuff. So, Peter has left and now we're moving to Bentley. He's going to be our number one guy on the list. And so George made me get to thinking. And we can continue talking about, you know, different historic things that happen in our state. I probably will because that's where my focus is. But George got me thinking. Do you all have any weird laws that you know of about your area or your state? Texas has a lot. George is missing the blue laws. So for people who are not familiar with blue laws, Texas has blue laws. We don't sell alcohol on Sundays. We don't sell alcohol on holidays. It's actually pretty lax today compared to what it used to be. If you forgot to pick up your beer for that Dallas Cowboy football game that starts at noon on a Sunday, you're out of luck. You can buy it on Sunday afternoon but not before noon. Let's see, what are some other weird blue laws or just laws? Oh, okay, Weatherford. Weatherford is a town next to us. It's a 15-minute drive to the east. And they actually have a law on the books that they continue to use to this day that if you don't call in advance or notify them in advance that you're driving a motor vehicle through their town, they can stop you. They use it. They use it whenever they think there's trafficking going on, drug, human or whatever. They use that law. And in fact, it was challenged not too long ago and it was upheld. So there's a weird law. You know, that's a law that gives them the ability to basically stop anybody. I mean, I don't agree with the law but it's a weird law. I'm trying to do this off the top of my head because I'm walking around my living room. What other weird laws do we have? I'll think of it and come back on some of the next overs. Texas has a lot of weird laws and I just can't think of them off the top of my head. So I'll do a little research. So let's do that. So we'll continue on talking about our state. You can talk about the history but I want to know about some of the weird laws or the weird idiosyncrasies that make your state different. So with that, let's start back up at the top of our list and that's going to be Mr. Bentley, VE3-SBX. I'm going to pass it back to you. This is VE3-SBX. I don't know of any special laws but our Premier just did pass a law, I guess, banning photo radar in Ontario. So a lot of little towns or little cities had them up around schools and are here and there and he has banned them. They have to pull them down saying that they were a cash grab. So we'll see what happens over that one. I did read something kind of interesting this morning about some US states, can't remember which ones off the top of my head, banning VPNs. So it's going to be harder to download those ISOs everybody likes so much. Back to you, Josh. This is repeater station kilo kilo 7, November Quebec November. Alright, KJ5-ILQ returning. I'll have to look into that. I haven't heard that states are trying to ban VPNs. I think they're going to have a hard time with that one. I mean that's kind of the whole purpose of VPNs. I mean, shoot, you can, how are they going to know if you host a VPN on your own Raspberry Pi on your own network? They won't know that. But the states not. That's weird. I'll have to look into that. I'll have to dig into that one. But we will, we will. Moving down to gray KC2-PKG. Again, the state history is awesome. But weirdness, audio syncosies, weird things that apply to your state or a place that you've been at. It doesn't have to be a state. If you know of any other place that has weird stuff, let's talk about it. KJ5-ILQ, sending it to you, Mr. Gray."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-23T21:20:23+00:00","id":45477,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":45476,"text":" All right, thanks for sharing about the newest Arrival there in the neighborhood squirrel named tiny there and glad you're enjoying some baseball Yeah, definitely turn on that air at 92 degrees hopefully You do get that temperature drop tomorrow We find they've got some nice low temperatures here in the Puget Sound today Was 49 degrees overnight and I for one I'm really appreciating that So yeah, thanks for stopping by All right 919 with the nine o'clock net this is Paul case of PJP coming to you from Tacoma, Washington Let's go ahead and get some more stations call signer names all in need from you Okay, I seven Zulu echo India Tim This Is repeater station Anyone else want to join him on this second round Calling in 7 leave my Romeo Cody with the night Oh"},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-07-13T22:01:16+00:00","id":7142,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":7141,"text":" So today, somebody had noticed the church was, apparently she's single, says the minister.
