I always like to put that in there. KC7YFE, looks like we're having another clear day today. Yeah, but I thought it was, it was kinda feeling a little bit muggy yesterday, and I thought it was gonna, it kinda spelt a little bit of a scent of an oncoming rainstorm, but it never happened, so, kinda glad for that. Without much here going on, just getting up and moving around here a bit, that's the same thing as always, you know, just trying to get the day started right, you know, hang out here on the back porch and smell the air and not freeze to death anyway. Well good night today Roy, thank you for what you're doing in spite of all your technical problems there, and that's why I've seen you kinda look up close enough to see that your name and call sign were moving a little bit forward there, and so I had to go in there, no audio, that's what happened there. So with that, thank you all for being here, so let's keep up the good work and keep on coming back and making this net happen. KI7PKL, Net Control, and the many friends here on the net, here's KC7YFE, we'll send the mic back to you, and it is clean, so don't worry. Well alrighty then Dale, hey, good to hear your voice my friend, and uh, yeah, looking forward to training, training the barbers we see you throughout the day as we traverse the nets together, how about that. Alright, we'll chase you after you three is to jail for now anyway, and uh, we're at the bottom of the list here, so if I've got this figured out, let's see if we can take some more check-ins, it's just so early in the morning here, it really is. And you're right, I think Joe did just become that rabbit's mommy. You should really see him. Oh my God. It's gonna break my heart. It's like something happens to that little bunny or God forbid, you know, I'm not even gonna go there. Just not even gonna go there. Oh man, you gotta keep posted on Lavin's job for sure. All right, now let's go talk to KD8RER. Larry, what's up in pattern? Well good morning Missy and everybody on the net. Well like I said, I got 81 degrees, so it's a little bit warmer there than 74% humidity. And yeah, it's real still out there today. Boy, I mean, hardly a breeze and all. And the guys are cutting out a tree next door to me, next door to my driveway. I've had problems with that thing, dropping branches off my trunks and all that kind of stuff. I got some dents in one of them in the hood. But anyway, I told the guy next door, I said, I got that thing that's getting ready to split. And if it does, a big part of it's gonna come down on your house. So he got a hold of it, so they're cutting it down now. But anyway, they're working out there in the heat. And yesterday it was really hot out there in the sun. And I told a couple of guys, they were sitting down beside a trailer trying to keep out of the sun. I said, well come over, sit under by a tree there. I got a little, I don't know what you call it, a needle over my patio out front. Anyway, they did that and that was pretty nice. But I gotta go out there and do some cement work. But I hate to do that in this kind of weather. So that's another of the hot work. So I don't know, I may wait till the weekend or something like that. But I'm trying to get my forms all done and that, and our repeater's still down. Yesterday he talked to the guy that does the repeater work and he said he was gonna go look at it. And they think it was the internet problems which they've had before. So if that's the case, it must've been something more major with the internet. So hopefully they'll get it back up so I can listen to it. I got a scanner I take outside when I'm out there working and a list of that. But that ain't gonna work right now. So with that, back to you, Betsy. Everybody on the internet, have a great day. And we call Joe, Joe Bunny or Bunny Joe or something like that. Or Ramit Joe, maybe Ramit Joe, oh I don't know. Thank you, Betsy. This is repeater station. No, no, no, no. He's just called Bicycle Joe. We'll call him Bicycle Joe but he's, he's a, he's, mommy's in that bunny space I hope so. Daddy's in that bunny, there we go. That's what we call him. But yeah, he's still Bicycle Joe to me for sure. Anyway, oh, all right, now. Sorry, oh, now let's go talk to Roy in Nesco in Oregon. What's going on in Oregon, Roy? We've got Kilo Delta Eight Romeo Echo Romeo, Larry and Jenray, good morning. We've got the talker, K6PKR. You like what I did with that? Glenn in Irvine, California. A.E.7, more reading news than Mr. Terry is in the house. Good morning to you, sir. Fred was there, I don't know if he was in and out, but I'll call on him. KK22HO, good morning to you, sir. And KI7PKR, Roy, N0HC, Clifton, Joe, the Lutbirds were there. And Roy, I was wondering, since you're into astronomy, but it's your turn, maybe you can let us know what's going on with the sunspots and coronal mass ejections, because, oh, and whether it has anything to do with the earthquakes. Maybe that's a good subject for you. Anyway, Larry from KI7PKR, good morning to you, sir. Victor, Echo 4, Jen, was in there too, and what was in there? Don't forget us. I don't know if I'm going to get in or not. I'm getting kind of frustrated here. They're trying to get in several different times. I couldn't get my computer to transmit. And naturally, I don't have anything in RF to back it up because we don't have any internet at all that are safe for the review. So anyway, yesterday was the most terrible day, I'll tell you. I was out mixing concrete to try to alleviate some water between my house and a shelter I got out back, because it runs downhill and would get about three or four inches of water there and eventually get in the basement. So I mixed up about six minutes of concrete over the period of yesterday afternoon and evening, and watched the weather and everything, and they didn't say anything about maybe some showers or something later on. But I went out there and then was going to pull up some of the forms so I could do the rest of it, and it started sprinkling rain. So I put some parts over it, but we had some much rain. I got three inches in my rain gauge out front, and it was coming in everywhere in the house. And I went and looked down in my basement, and there was water about an inch on my floor. And just on and on and on. And very disgusted with all that. So I happened to go out to see whether that water ruined my concrete or not. I'm almost afraid to look. But that's way too hot to mix that stuff to start with, and all that work going down the drain is irritating. So with that, back to you Robert. I see you've got some hurricane weather coming in around you, so I hope you don't have that kind of stuff either. So with that, thank you Robert. I'm going to call for a second. Well I am so sorry for your frustration my friend. I could only imagine what you're talking through. And yeah, take a couple of deep breaths, and you know what they say, this too will pass. But an inch on the floor, that's never good. That's never good. Man oh man. And six bags of concrete, right? Hopefully that's not a watery mess. And hopefully it's not all replaced. But you know, it's only water, so hopefully it didn't spread everywhere. But if it stayed where it's supposed to, it'll eventually dry up. Hopefully. Now you take care. And we're going to move down this busy list to K6TKR, the talker. I don't know where I came up with that demonic. And it really does exist. You're a talker, but you don't over talk. Here, I'm going to get myself in trouble. Dig myself a hole, right? Anyway, what do they say? That brevity is a solid, solid wood. And I'm going to shut up here and welcome in Glenn from Irvine, California. Good morning Glenn. Good morning Robert, everybody else on the net. Well it's always a pleasure Robert, no matter what my name is. But generally I don't have a lot to say. It's just the way it's been through life. But anyway, I'll take whatever I get here. Just enjoy being on your net here. Well yesterday was pretty much a yard work day. Fortunately we had a lot of overcast. But as soon as that broke, which was about 2 o'clock, it just got hot and humid. I had to call it a day and take it all inside. And so you know we sit around in the heat. And my son said, well let's go down to Dave and Buster's. And so we went down and played a bunch of the games that they have there and just had a ball. So that was kind of nice because he's getting ready to head back to college here real quick. So today, I'm going to have another home day. I'm putting in some soft clothes, hinges on my wife's kitchen doors. And I started that earlier but it's a lot of laying on the floor and kind of bending at 90 degrees. It's a lot like plumbing, getting in there and replacing those hinges. So I took a break. And so I'll get back at it today and hopefully I can get that project finished. We'll see what happens. But anyway, that's all we have here from the doctor in Irvine, K-60, K-R, back to net. This is Chris from the Old Kilo Church. Oh, I'm glad you got us here. Especially with putting in those soft clothes hinges. Man, I've got those on my kitchen cabinets and the drawers, all the drawers. And it just makes life so much easier. And I have those on the toilet seats as well. But not in cabinets. But anyway, sometimes I talk too much. It reminds me of a song. You talk too much. No, never mind. You show them off, Mr. Terry gives up the next good morning to you, sir. JB2RQ, I don't hear about the Echo 7, Mark Romeo. The water sponges I heard about in your undisclosed location must have gone on last over there. I heard they're all under the other nest. I'm not going to go anywhere. Enjoying my new project with those dark raging ghosts where they blow up and work with the circulation. Enjoying that stuff by me from the VA. Probably waiting until Friday to put it back in the queue again so maybe I don't have to call for much. I don't know. Looks like we've got sunshine coming in. Let's see if there's a window behind. I'm having a hard time. I'm having a hard time. I'll give it back to Mark so I can get on with it. I'll have the Echo 7, Mark Romeo, back to JB2RQ. You're good on you. All right. Well, good morning to you, Terry. And make sure those vibrating boots. The water spout. I saw a video about it was unbelievable. It was a little water spout but people didn't notice it as they were at the surf. But it was really funny because the spout was invisible almost. It washed ashore and blew all kinds of stuff away. People were shocked by what they saw. They had umbrellas flying down the beach and all kinds of stuff. And yeah, hurricanes or tornadoes can blow over the water spouts. We've got hurricanes coming this way. That's what you have. That's what you live with when you live in paradise. So anyway, I thought this was enough from me. Let's see if Fred had anything to say. I know he was... I think he was in and out but let's check him out. Hey good morning Missy and everybody on the net. Yeah like what he said you are sounding chipper and boy that's good. Let me see here. Sun's shining really bright. A little breeze out there. 65 degrees and 54 percent humidity and it's dryer than a bone. Still and they're still talking. Talking about the possibility of fires you know because the humidity is down here which we normally don't have this low of humidity and very little rain. We had about a quarter of an inch here about so I don't know several days ago but that didn't do enough to really do anything because grass is drier than the heck and turning brown and all that so anyway this morning I got up and got ready to pour a cup of coffee. I usually I always have coffee made automatically I have to put it on at night and it comes on earlier in the morning before I get up and I looked at the pot and then the lights weren't on I said oh no I forgot to make the coffee last night I said all right so don't usually do that so anyway I guess I'm going to have to get my mind in some other place before I go to bed. Anyway I think that's about it for today. Everybody all around have a great day and we'll talk to you later and thanks a lot for doing that this morning Missy."},{"callsign_confidence":0.99,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-11T08:38:56+00:00","id":37313,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":37312,"text":" Now we got a good list here, we got N8THJ or one of our Saturday Net Controllers KBQRQQ Romeo Quebec who I got to speak with yesterday on his addition of his ship to the worldwide friendship net, KD7WA is one of our Friday Net Controllers alternates with Roy every Friday, KI7PKL that is, and we got KD8RER who will be in the helm next week, and V01UKZ, V06GRZ and KB7PBW. Our weather here now is 59. We're going to get up to 77 today. So a nice fall day here. Enjoy your 40 and 80 meter chatting there. And let's see where am I at now. Okay, let's pick up KD8RER. This is KD7WA. Good morning, Larry. Go ahead. Well, good morning, Roy and everybody on the net. We got sunshine and no breeze and 67.5 degrees, 62% humidity. Yesterday I picked a whole bunch of cherry tomatoes. I don't know how I wound up with so many plants like that. I think somebody mismarked them or something. I didn't buy that. So anyway, I got a whole basket full of them. I probably got several hundred in there. And where the squirrels planted some, there's hundreds back in there, but I'm not even going to mess with those. And I've got some odd plants that have yellow cherry tomatoes and red ones on the same vine. That's about the weirdest ones I've seen. And I don't know where they came from. Anyway, doing some more work on my patio back there. I'm trying to find some kind of coating to put on them. They've got a rubber coating where it doesn't crack if anything ships, the concrete or whatever, you've got a crack in it. But most of them are put out by these companies that want to do the work. And I don't want to do that. I want to be able to do this myself. So I'm still trying to look it around to find something, things like that. Anyway, not a whole lot of this going on around here today. I wish we could get some rain, but that doesn't even look like it's in the forecast. Supposed to get up to 83 today, and we're back to summer again. So with that, back to you, Roy. Everybody on the net have a great day."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-16T07:47:32+00:00","id":39478,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":39477,"text":" Alright, I got M0R KN, KD8RER, KC7LRS, KC7QHT, KB7PVW.
