"text": " Alright Ray, I got you with KC8UJE. I usually don't do in and outs with my new calls here. I'd like to introduce myself, tell you a little bit about the net, and then find out a little bit of information from you about what your interest in astronomy is. So my name is Burnus, that's probably uniform, Romeo November, that goes here or here. My call is scientists, kilowatts, indies, zero, al, Fort Romeo, welcome to the Colorado Astronomy Net. I've been doing this for almost 30 years. We're going to run for about, well, probably another hour and 45 minutes. I've got some local astronomical news, some announcements, some bulletins, we've got a rocket report, and then I like to go down the list and talk with everybody. What they're looking up at the skies, it's kind of Q&A session after that. But I always like to touch base with my first time check-ins and find out what your interest and background in astronomy is, whether you're just starting out, you've been doing it for decades, or somewhere in between. Go ahead Ray, again, welcome to the net, and tell us a little bit about your background interest in astronomy."

"text": " And not much here for this week and the sky this week. Blood Moon is happening. Unfortunately, we won't be seeing it here in North America or even South America. Asia and Western Australia will see it. Some of Europe and Africa will also see parts of the totality. Not in its completion, but Asia and Western Australia will be able to see the whole thing. And it will be a total lunar eclipse. And that runs from September 7th right through to the 8th. Now for those of you who aren't in its path, you can do a Google search for Virtual Telescope Project. So it's the Virtual Telescope Project. Just do a Google search for that. And you can click on and watch the event. I think that is on YouTube. So give it a look. And for those who can't see the event, You can just go to the Virtual Telescope Project. Click on that."
