Kilo Yankee 4 November Bravo, KY4NB, Scott from Memphis, Cy Graham and all. Hope I made it through that pile up high high. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November Quebec November. All star Node 622. Okay, I'm just going to hold up there folks. You know, while I tell you who I do have on the list, I know that Dave and the other people are out there. You can have a wee look because there's an awful lot of echoes there. I heard several chickens being kind of echoed back, including Woody and Scott. And yeah, there's quite a few. So I'm not too sure what's happening. But when somebody's gearing up, there seems to be a big, big kind of loop and an echo going on there. But I'll tell you who I do have on the list so far. From the bottom, I do have KI-7, BKL, List Rock and Roy from Portland, Oregon. Roy, you're on the list. You've got Woody all the way from Florida, N5, XCX, Woody, you're on the list. We've got Scott out there in Memphis, Tennessee. Hi Scott and Robbie Lee, that is of course KY4NB. You're on the list. Then we come to the podium. Then third place to be, all the way from San Diego, California, it's Michelle. That is KN6UYC. Also a brand new chicken getting onto the podium. And that was only because there were so, so many people trying to get on the first ten rounds. I didn't hear too many. But I did hear Mark, who's right there in step number two with a bronze medal, KC8FQV. Mark, always from Ohio. You're on the list and on the podium. Of course, the top of the list and the top of the podium. Once again, it's the kind, young ham in Newport, South Wales. It's Declan, 2Whiskey0, Teemo, Yankee Hotel. So that's all I've managed to pull out from the first day round. But there was a lot and lot of noise. Some of it was probably the echo. But was there anyone else trying to check in on this particular round? And if you desperately want to get on, please give me a call, then, again. Go ahead. It's always great to talk to you, sir. It really is. All technology, of course, is a fantastic thing. Without it, we wouldn't be here, that's for sure. And it's all there to help, but there's always a kind of other side, isn't there, when things go wrong and trying to get things sorted. Oh, how frustrating it can be. But I think things are kind of negatively fixed these days. I remember having maybe kind of PC problems back in the 90s and trying to fix something. I'd be staying myself up all night long just trying to fix some things. It just wasn't working. And then there's probably something quite simple that anyone else could have known about, but I just never knew the time. But these days, if things go wrong, you can kind of recover things a little bit quicker. So maybe tech is helping us deal with tech. I'm not too sure. AI is taking over. I'm not too sure. We'll have to do that. Maybe that's another discussion altogether. But Mark, in the meantime, thank you. Thank you so much. You and yours have a fantastic weekend. It's always great to hear from you, sir. And we love hearing you check into other nets I listen to and check into. You're always around, so thanks for all your support for the amateur radio community. So take care and have a wonderful weekend. Stay safe. Stay well. Mark, we'll catch you again later. We'll see you all the best in 7.3, the KC8FQV. That did rhyme, folks. I'm going to write that down. Anyway, next, folks, is a man with a bronze medal around his neck, and it's all the way from Oklahoma City in Oklahoma. It's Will. It's our friend Will, also known as KJ5GWN. Will, welcome, sir. It is Mike5, Beema Golf Mike, that's our friend Thomas. And Thomas you're on the list sir. KC8FQV, that's Mark in Aurora, Ohio. Mark you're on the list. KY4NB, Scott, all there from Memphis, Tennessee. Scott you're on the list. KC1VX, Sierra, Paul in Enfield, Maine. Paul you're on the list. 2E0W, PapaPapa, that is of course Simon out there. Simon you're on the list. We've got KJ5GWN on the podium. Yes they will. You managed to get on the podium this week sir. You've got a bronze medal so congratulations. And silver position is KW8FQV, that's Mark. And Mark I've got you in twice. There we go KC8FQV. Yes, okay. Your first one was definitely RF so I'll take you out on your later one there Mark. You only get one time here Mark, goodness me. But you are on the podium and you're in second place. And up at the top was 2W0KW, Yankee Hotel, that's Declan in Newport, South Wales. But of course when I was listening to Declan and Mark and then Will came through nice and clear, I think there was some more people wrestling away right at the beginning. Well you have a wonderful, wonderful time out there in Cedar Point and I do enjoy, tell us all about it. And you know it's great and like I say Helen Queen of Scotland, my wife, she enjoys all those kinds of things as well. And of course we spoke to at the top of the night there was our friend Declan. He loves all these kind of different rides and you know when we've made up with our friends from Newport, South Wales there we've gone to these theme parks and Declan's gone on all these rides and different things but not quite me. I'll take photos and a wee video now and again but that's about it so good stuff. Mark you have fun at Cedar Point and take care, have a great weekend. Mark thank you so much for stopping by on the IRN KV-1 Multimode Net. Thank you so much. We'll say 73 to KC8FQV and with that we are at the bottom of the list. Good to see you there Robert and Becky. I5SSL, Texas, KISSER, LIFINGREAP, FINE Texas, it's Jened, she's on the list, and VICTORECO3, X-ray, DELTA, BRAVO, there's Doug, Happy Birthday Doug, all the way from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Correction, that's Kilo Golf 7 Oscar Delta Bravo. This is Dean near Bitter Lake in North Seattle. So one of the things I you know, I've always been inspired by your parts on air activation. I'll see the list but I know how the way the air is, is to get a little bit more than just a fan like like a meter or something. My favorite times with me was last year I took a road trip to go see these clips in Missouri and I ended up doing a number of PODA activations on the trip and at one of them, which was at the Pea Ridge military site in near Fayetteville, Arkansas, I did a part on the air activation. You were the very first person to come back. Like I turned my radio on, I got I think over 40 contacts that you were the very first one and it turns out that was a part to part. You were at the Guy W. Talbot State Park in Oregon. Anyway, sorry I wasn't able to talk with you much on your nets. I usually work morning. Anyway, I wish you luck and hopefully I'll work you on PODA and see you at the picnic or something in the future. Alright, thank you. Thank you, Dean. I do recognize the call, so that's great. And park to park. I like park to parks. They happen and you don't even know it. Most times they pull the software and it catches it and gives you the credit. Yeah, it's quite a system that they've developed which makes it adds a lot to it. Makes it fun. Makes it great to get out there. We started out with just, you know, we like to drive and I've always liked having portable operation or mobile operation, either one. So we tied all that together and started doing parks and COVID came along and it was a great way to get out because you're away from anybody. It's just the two of us, Karen and I and we can go to these parks and thoroughly enjoy them. At least the ones that were open. I remember doing one park at the gate that was closed and locked. We just parked right at the gate and did that park. Anyway, and we continued doing it. Somebody mentioned a road trip to Montana. That road trip I mentioned to North Dakota we did a lot of PODA on the way back from a lot of interesting places. Alright, KC8FQ, well first off, this is W7VAS with the 9 o'clock map. I think you've been there a couple of times before. So, anyway, well, always a pleasure, sir, and good to talk to you. It's always good to talk to you on a Friday there or any other day. So you take care of a friend. Have a great weekend. Please stay safe. Stay well. And, well, we'll talk to you again very, very soon. We'll say 7 to 3 and all the best to KJ5GWN.
