Just getting over here. We got over here just on time this morning, which sometimes happens, but sometimes not. We've just been having a grand old chat over on do drop in about these POC radios and the whole network and how it works and all that kind of stuff, because people are starting to get their radios now. People that have ordered over the last week or so are finally starting to get them. And once they start getting in more hands, people are going to love these things as much as I do. Well, I kind of sort of do. I kind of wait and see if anybody in the family here is going to say anything. And sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Yeah, so I guess then I'd pay down their distribution the other day and let them see if any of them recognize it. Usually the boy, the oldest one in Colorado, he may send a text or the one in Kansas may send a text, you know, because I try to remember theirs. Yeah, kind of hard to forget the one in Colorado because it's the day before my sister in Oregon or so. She couldn't wait a day, could you? And I says, wasn't up to me. So, you know, April 3rd and 4th. So there it is. But I'm coming up on that 76 times around the sun in a little while, not too far in the distant future. But we'll be there. And see what happens this year. You know, had a nice long walk yesterday. I forgot it was Saturday. Bus don't run as frequently as weekdays. So I went into Alma with the daughter and started to post up, take care of some stuff. And went to head back and, oops, there ain't going to be another bus for about four hours. Well, good day for a walk. So I think that my master-in-law just stepped in yesterday. And then once I got to the point where I had to stop, needed something to drink, I was from a little ways outside of the element, all the way to Breeze would be the next one. It would be sats up in Breeze. There's a grocery store. I stopped and got a couple of sodas. And then waited for the bus to go back to Aberdeen. So there we go. There we are. Anyway, you know what comes now. Shut your eyes, close your mouth, cover the coffee, tea, whatever, even water, whatever you've been a cover. Because here comes the mic. And I'm sure that mic has got some germs on it somewhere. There you go. Now the mic's 99.9% germs free for the next 24. And 7 RSV back to net. This is repeat 7 RSV. And 7 RSV is all-star-19. You take you for that mic and clean mic. And it's funny with my dad and my grandmother that they don't always know what day of the week it is. So if you forget what day of the week it is, you might not know how often the buses are going to run. So that matters. Anyway, it's an interesting test of your family to see if they'll remember. I don't know. I just kind of skipped the test. It's on my Facebook. It announces it for me. Or I'll note it here on the World Wide Friendship net. But that's about it. Anyway, thanks so much. And hopefully your family is onto it this time. So with your birthday coming up. All right. We're going to say goodbye for the moment to Pappy. And now we're going to head to, let's see, that was up in Aberdeen, Washington. Now we're going to go down to Roseburg, Oregon and pick up Dale, KC7YFE. Well, actually I got my novice in 1964 and my general in 1965. We had the School for the Blind in Nebraska had a piece of property out that they had picnics and stuff at. So we were out there and somebody had a pair of walkie talkies and they were CB walkie talkies. So I started playing around with that and somebody, I just said, anybody copy this station? And somebody came back and said, yeah, can you guess where I'm from? And he said, Greenland. And after that I couldn't leave the radio alone. So other than that, but everything was so different, you know. When I got my ticket in 1965, I was out there and when I first got started with field day and all that kind of stuff, you had to build your own tuna fish can receiver and transmitter. So that was part of it, that was true preparation. And it ain't that way no more. Anyway, that's mine. Whiskey Alpha Zero Tango Alpha X Ray. W80TAX KF5Y Hank, that's pretty cool right there. I think my first contact was KF5LBTG right across the subdivision on a local repeater and I'll never forget it. I was just sitting there and I was like, I don't know if somebody answered me, but I can't imagine getting an answer from Greenland. I can see why you never put that microphone down or that key. I know you like doing that too. We're going to work on CW Morse code there. Hank, I promise you, I just got busy. And, God, it's a struggle, but I'm not giving up. So Hank, thanks for being here. And I'm going to turn it over to the KF5SSR. Jeanette, go ahead. Thank you, Hank. W80TAX, the tax man. Hey, Hank, yeah, we are definitely going to get with you with the CW. But, you know, Mike did a clean sweep on the 13 colonies and I think 10 of them or something were done in CWs. He definitely knows more than, has done way more than me, so I'm behind. But that's just natural. Anyway, Hank, thank you for being here. And KC7YFE Dale, how about you? How you doing? And how's everything going? And what got you interested in amateur radio? But I'm a little worried because I just got told that my friendship has Linda got exposed to COVID when she brought Linda to me. So I'm not sure what to do, so I'm a little worried about that. Well, I'm going to plan to get my, try to work on another drum and bass song, you know, a little bit of something with drums and bass. But most of it knocked out. I just got to bring in the rest of what I want to bring in. Anyway, appreciate you taking this morning and making sure you're safe and cheaper. I was kind of curious. You still got that one chicken yet, or is that one gone? Oh, no, she's still around and went out to close her up last night and found three eggs in the nest. So there you go. She's got her chicken eggs out there once in a while. Back to you, KC7YFE. Well, all right, you can have some eggs for breakfast then. That's all it's about. I got a cousin in Florida that she raises chickens for the eggs in town. And she does real well with the eggs. I always like to put that in there. KC7YFE, looks like we're having another clear day today. Yeah, but I thought it was, it was kinda feeling a little bit muggy yesterday, and I thought it was gonna, it kinda spelt a little bit of a scent of an oncoming rainstorm, but it never happened, so, kinda glad for that. Well good night today Roy, thank you for what you're doing in spite of all your technical problems there, and that's why I've seen you kinda look up close enough to see that your name and call sign were moving a little bit forward there, and so I had to go in there, no audio, that's what happened there. So with that, thank you all for being here, so let's keep up the good work and keep on coming back and making this net happen. She's here, uh, Kilo, probably, Romeo, Quebec, Quebec, from Kilo. Charlie 7, Yankee Fox Echo here. Well, I put in the text box there that, uh, uh, since I heard, uh, Cliff's signal going underwater and all that, it must have been them fishes trying to steal the mic from him so that way they could cause, uh, malicious interference with him and, uh, on, uh, for him there. So that's what was going on. Those fishes were trying to steal the mic and, uh, get on there, uh, uh, uninvited, uh, sort of like an uninvited third party of sorts that did not, uh, get past or, uh, what do they call it, get the mic passed to them. Uh, maybe his mic looks like a hook. Yeah, that was a little zoomer. Right, Vic? Did you get it, Vic? He's up next? Well, I just thought I'd put it in the chat box. I can reach it. I can keep asking even more. I'm in good grief. Well, I can't say what I'm thinking, but anyway, you mind works like my mind, Robinson. I know you caught that one. This seems to be orbiting until about noon and then I got to get up, got to have something solid. But anyway, going to get the iron arc today and then off to another dock, or a console or some kind of thing. I don't know what it is. But anyway, I'll be running all day long, just running around and be hit. Now you couldn't be pressed? If not, I'll grab the big iron and press you. So there you go. Give me your Q2 and 700. Yeah, I'm pressed, depressed and repressed. Oh no, this net is going to go to Hades. You're titled straight now, that's for sure. And I'm the only one, I can make myself laugh, that's for sure. And yeah, I know what you're thinking, Dick. Thank you for that. And, uh, it's how he plays his Xbox. He can't even think what he's thinking, or he can't even think what he's saying. That's funny. Alright, I'm looking for any stragglers at this point in the game. I'm just hanging on by dear life, just begging people to check in with KB2-RT2 in the worldwide friendship net. This is Kilo November 4, Bravo Papa Oscar, returning to Lorax. I speak for the trees. I told you I was working and unfortunately one of my customers came up and was talking to me. So that's why I had to opt out for just a second. But with all that being said, we've got beautiful partly-cladic skies here in Georgia today. About 82 degrees, talking about some rain later. Thank you for allowing me to check in in the net. I guess you could say a lot of times I'm lurking in the background listening, but I do get in here and jump and talk once in a while. So, with all that being said, everyone stay safe, stay healthy, and we'll catch you down the long. Kilo November 4, Bravo Papa Oscar, ahead. Heading us to Lorax. I'm clear. That's 73. I'd be very interested one day to find out why they call you the Lorax. You speak for the trees, huh? Yeah, that's just PG. You get it? Because you're from Georgia? PG? Never mind. That was just a little humor, and as Dick says, very little. All right, one last check-in. We need one more check-in or one last recheck, and I'll let everybody go. I'm sure you're dying to get off the net. I probably just sent everybody running and packing. All right, I'll open it up one more time. Last call, folks. Get you to our QQ in the worldwide country pen. This is Kilo November 4, Bravo Papa Oscar, returning again. Just in answer to your question, how I got that alias is I've been in natural resource management for about 45 years, and when the Lorax was popularized, some of my coworkers tagged that name on me, so here I am, the Lorax, and for PPO, I am clear. Nice story. Very, very interesting, and you do some good work, obviously, with natural resource management. Let's get those photos cleared up, huh? We don't want any forest fires. All right, everybody. Thank you for sticking with me. I really appreciate it, and I think what I'm going to do is I'm going to have Brickey and then go see a psychiatrist. I need one desperately. It's like the joke that the guy goes to the psychiatrist, and he gives him a bill for $70, and he says, I don't understand it. You just bill me $70. Isn't your hourly rate $35? He goes, yeah, but you have such a premium. It's $35 for each of you. I'm going to sign KB-2-RTQ. Hang around and chat, but leave some time for all the nodes or the noses to stop doing what they're doing. KB-2-RTQ, 73 is 88. It was good having some of you. Have a good day, family. Bye-bye, 73. All that good stuff. KB-2-RTQ. Fun, Nat, Robert, thanks. Darn it. 60 seconds left. Copy. Robert, the server's not going to help you out. We'll get them during the station. Good, Nat, just fabulous time. And Robert, don't give up. And don't go see a psychiatrist. He needs one to come and see me. Aye-aye. Yeah, that'll make me go crazy. Thank you, Rosie. And Mr. Terry was in here, too. Sorry you doubled my friend. But yeah, the night is over, but go ahead and shock among yourselves. I'll be listening and laughing. Iorts. I was at the Southern Micromia. I just seen on Facebook that the fire's on and I'll open up and open up as friends of the family watch their home to what the fire's doing on up there. Anyway, if the fires are not all that hard in Oregon, I can guarantee you that. I think the Southern Micromia, back to the group of the clearing Michigan coffers, where else can we take a trip and not leave the ranch? 87 and Mark, clear and out. Have a great day. 87 and Mark. 87 and Mark. 87. Oh, I had a good one, um, Robert, the other day. He's on the news. The Americans are complaining about the smoke. What we have here in Canada. It's going out over there. Well, what do you think what smoke does? You know, you guys send it to us, as well! So, it doesn't make sense. I'm out here. I like the smell of cat fire and smoke. Anyway, you got here talking about fishes. It might remind me of a joke that I forgot. So I'll try here. It's okay. Why don't the fishes go to school? Because they get caught. I want to just go back down to 70 degrees, you know. I'm done. Alright, I'm at the bottom of my list, ready to take some more check-ins. Anyone anywhere wishing to check in, please come down with your call for an first name. KV7PEW, tango Mike. KV7PEW, tango Mike. Bruce in Tigard. I got W7, BTM Bruce, N0HC, Cliff, KC7, LRS, KC7, GHG, VE4, YYL, WB9, CSP, Richard, and KC7, YFEDale. Oh, yeah, I think I did it right. Okay, so, let's go start with Bruce. WB7, W7, BTM, I think that's how this goes. Anyway, good morning. Good morning, and just to be clear, it's Whiskey 7 Bravo Tango Mike. I think you had that right. Anyway, thank you for taking my check in, and what a glorious morning. This is my favorite time of year. I love the soaking heat of late August. Even during the day on these hot days, I'm in Tigard, so it's going to be another 100 degree day, but I'm out on the porch early with my coffee, and it's 68 degrees, and just glorious. So, yeah, I love this time of year. And even on into September and even October. As you all know that live here, the rains will come, and starting in November, it's a whole different type of living. But I'm taking it while I can get it and really enjoying it. I'm having a lot of fun. Quick break. I'm back. Well, some fun. Diagnosing the furnace in my ancient Winnebago. It would not ignite on my first trip this summer. Hopefully it will work on my next trip in September. But, you know, these old folk girls, mine's 40 years old. You've got to have them. They require a lot of tender, loving care to keep you on the road. But that's part of the fun. Anyway, thank you very much, and back to net, and let that long list of other callers have at it. And so we look forward to hearing from you again. And I'm really glad to hear from you on the other nets as well and other places. So, you know, it's all good. I mean, you don't have to worry because, you know, you're always welcome here. All right. So let me get this log in here real quick. Come by, folks. We'll be right with you. Okay, first of all, let me move on. We'll clear with the 1WI head and we'll pick up first we'll swing them back, beat them out to Katerina, Ohio. And we're going to pick up our net manager and one of our net or Saturday net controllers, Art, at 18-HGA. Good morning there, Dale. And this is Reforged Station Air Low Show. Everybody else on the world wide, this is the only one. Thanks for holding on to it. Art, here is sunny Springfield, Ohio. I got 77 degrees Fahrenheit and they were saying we may see a little bit of rain later on this afternoon before a cold front comes through, so there you go. Bob and Ann, we ain't doing much this morning. Just kind of sist around enjoying life, so there you go. So that was a 73 to everybody. You all had yourselves a great day. Stay warm, stay dry, stay cool. No matter where you're at in the world. And please remember always, wipe the mic before you give it back to that control. So that's it, Dale. Wiping the mic down, buddy. And it's coming your way from November 8, King of the Duke, U.S. All right, Art, thank you for coming in and being with us today. All right, now we'll swing a little saying goodbye to Art. And thank you again, Art, for what you do. And be sure, folks, to visit with Rob, Art, Joel, and Dave. They alternate every Saturday on the world wide friendship net. Of course, Art's been taking other shifts, and maybe so has Joel and Dave. But they generally are on Saturday, so stop and hang out with them. All right, we're clear with NAJHJ. And again, thank you, Art, for being here and what you do for Amazoo Radio. I'm hoping one of these days you and active eating person and going to have a cup of coffee, you know, I have to get you out here to Oregon and take you to Abby's for free coffee. I mean root beer. All right, you have a good day, Art. Up next, we have our friend, Daryl, up way up there on the rock. V01UKZ, he's already sleeping, sir. And the mic is yours, my friend. We're glad you're here. I think I want you, Dale, come on in, Art. I wanted to show there. And Robert and everybody else that's on board, this is V01UKZ. Don't worry about that, man. I don't mind waiting in line, waiting my turn. If I was pressed, I'd say short time, you know how it works. But pressed today in the process of calling various garages. And I think I've got the best price worked out on getting the quad fixed at one of them. They can't do it for like a week and a half. There's going to be another week probably by the time I get it all done. And they get everything ordered in that they need to get and whatnot. It's not a small job, essentially. Working for my uncle in the evening times to make up the difference in the cash that I didn't have to get it done up. So I appreciate everybody's thoughts, concerns, hope, everything. Just people are awesome. Generally, you know, sometimes you get people that are not. They just want to, you know, put their trouble. But for the most part, man, this is a great hobby with great people and people that understand. You know, sometimes people go through it. And, you know, we're all friends out here. That's what it is at the end of the day. We're all friends out here. I really love this hobby personally and really enjoy it. But, yeah, so that's what I've been up to this morning just calling around trying to get quotes on this particular job. And it's definitely going to cost quite a bit to get this done. But it needs to be done. The bike's not even rideable right now. So it has to be done. There's no question about it. But I was even thinking of another option, you know, possibly trade my bike and the cash that I came up with for another bike. But then I was thinking to myself, I could end up with someone else's problem, right? Like I've got now, I know what's new on there and what needs to be fixed and what doesn't and all the rest. You pick up a new one or a new used one from someone else, they could be just putting their problems off on you. So I don't really want to do that. I'd sort of just get fixed to what I've got and what I know I've got rather than taking in anybody else's question marks that could potentially need work themselves. So I won't be doing that. So I'm just going to hold out for the next few weeks until that one shop can get it done and we'll get it done and we'll all be good. Right now it's not safe to be riding quads. Let me reset. Now up here it's not safe to be riding quads, which anyway, because we've got a fire ban going and just outside the city there's a massive wildfire burn that's led to mandatory evacuations over the last couple of days of people just on the outskirts of town. So we're still watching those massive wildfires. If you want to look it up on YouTube, just check it out. News of land, East Coast wildfires, and you'll see what I'm talking about. These things are massive. Hundreds if not thousands of hectares of land are just pumping flames. So we're dealing with that here on the Rock. There's like four giant wildfires on the island right now. One of them is very close to the capital, close to the city here where I live. And the others are, one of them is just across the bay and the others I think are in central Newfoundland. So no threat to us here on the East Coast, but the ones that are a threat, they're being a big threat. So if you want more information just look up Newfoundland wildfires 125 and you'll see what I'm talking about. Thank you over to you Dale, the geometry man, all the best. And everybody have an awesome day. This is E01, you can't see anything. All right, Daryl, thank you for coming on in and being with us today. And I want to thank you for what you're doing with the Dew Drop-In. You're running a great, you're running an awesome concert, or conference there, almost said concert. Hey, where's my ticket? No, wait, wait, wait, where's my spot on the stage? I'll throw them for you if you're singing. No. Anyway, Daryl, have a good rest of your day my friend. Oh yeah, I sent you a text message one time, I don't know if you got it or not, but see if you did or not. Anyway, I'm going to move on here, but if you want to recheck at the end of that if you're still around, and let me know if you got it or not if you can. That'll be on the last call when I'll be taking rechecks. So that's when I really plan to do that. So with that, we're clear with the B012KZ and we're going to swing down here to Las Vegas, and we're going to say hello to our friend Joe, one of our Saturday Net controllers. KK7Z, KZ7YFE and the World Wide Friendship Net. The mic is yours, man. I had to find the transmit button there. Hey, Martindale, everybody on the Net, doing Las Vegas. Yeah, but not for real, I didn't sleep much last night. But feeling okay, feeling pretty good. Yeah, I just got home, didn't sleep. Didn't ride today because I rode yesterday. And we'll have just the days this Saturday and I'll have the following Saturday. Not too much to report here. It's kind of nice. It's been hot. We've been having 110s and all that. So it's been pretty hot. Supposed to cool down a little bit come Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Maybe right around 100 for a high. So we'll see. And let's see what I'll say. Quick good morning to Missy, Art, Daryl, Larry, Peter, Robert, Pappy and Bill. How about that? And you know, I don't have anything else to report there, Dale. I got no plans for today. You know, when you get retired, the days do go by so fast because you don't have anything to, any anticipation to the next day. So it's Thursday, next you know, it's next Wednesday. So there you go. Anyway, I'm here in the background. It's Joe in Las Vegas, K-70. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7 November Quebec November. I'm rubbing them all on that one. I know what you mean. Well, I'm not really, I can't say I'm officially retirement age but pretty doggone close. And it's even like, it's like that for folks that are disabled and unemployed. You know, it seems like the days go by fast or they can go by slow or in between, you know. Oh, yesterday was a pretty big day for me. I'll tell you what, folks. Joe, I got to say, I did probably get out of the sun a little too much but I made sure to have one of those, to get one of those day passes for the public transit and did some, took a couple of rides downtown and took care of some stuff down there and took a bus ride and took the bus ride back home and been back here at the house ever since. Got here safe and sound and in one piece and standing on my feet. It tends to end up in the middle of the street flat on my seat, as I always say. Joe, thank you for coming in. We'll catch you one of these Saturdays, I think. And yeah, I just got to get that mixed up. You know, that's why I just, when I got it on my calendar, I just called the other three as the net controllers because I know you guys are doing a great job passing it around there every week and keeping the net going for Saturday. And thank you, Joe, for what you do and hey, you keep up. I've been hearing some good stuff about some of those videos you got. Hey, keep up the good work there, too, because I know that's something I really love to do. All right, we're clear with KK7Z. Now we're going to swing back out here to Kanderang and we're going to say hello to Larry, our alternate Thursday net controller, who will be in the helm next Thursday, which will be on the 21st. Joe, KV8RE, R, KZ7Y, and V in the worldwide friendship net. Morning, Larry. Glad you're here. Well, good morning, Dale and everybody on the net. Well, like I said, we got sun shining out there right now. It's 76.8 degrees and 90 percent humidity. It went down one degree or one percent in humidity. But 90 percent anyway. That's the way it goes around here. And yesterday I did uncover what my concrete that I'd mixed and I have a couple places that are messed up that I think I can blend it in when I do the rest of the concrete work. But I've got to get my forms out first. I've got to figure out how to get those out of the concrete right now. I've got some ideas how to do that. But anyway, then I can progress on whenever the weather decides to cooperate. I don't like all that two or three inches of rain on new concrete. That's not good. And yesterday I picked a whole basket of tomatoes. I've got tomatoes running out my ears here right now. I called a bunch of people and said they'd take some. So I'm hoping to get rid of a bunch of them and give them away because I can't eat that many at one time. So anyway, not a whole lot else going on. I'm just sitting here reading the paper and listening to the net. And watching all the problems on the weather channel and just everywhere. Friends and hurricanes and oh my golly, it's just unbelievable. So anyway, I'm going to turn it back over to you so you can get through the rest of the list. Everville, have a great day. And back to you Dale. You're doing a fine job right now. Thanks Larry. However, like I said, the preamble came off on a rough start. But I want to thank you, in case you haven't FMW'd for helping me out with that one there. Folks, be sure to stop in and visit with Larry next Thursday. You'll be in the helm and ready to have a cup of coffee with you and get you on the log there and chat with you there. Larry, you're doing a fine job with the net as well. Keep up the good work there. Our weather out here has been something else. We've had fairly low humidity but some high temperatures. Today is all cloudy and overcast. I'm hoping it will be a little cooler. Larry, have a good rest of your day sir. Keep on keeping on there. We're clear with K-8 RER and now we're going to swing out here to an undisclosed location. Say hello to our Ultimate Wind Unit Controller, Mr. Robert Pule. Robert to Romeo, Quebec, Quebec. This is KC-7 YFE and the World Wide Fair ship hatch. The mic is yours. And there's an old cannon, hopefully Kathy's well too. Well thank you for that Dale. Yes, she's getting better over time. And better than me and better than I deserve, that's for sure. And yeah, I must concur with Larry. There's been a lot of weather out there. I remember back yesterday I was telling Kathy that I'm going to go outside and shed and drop some plans for an ark. The only problem is I can't figure out how to get all those animals in there. I really explore myself. I'm the only one that laughs at me. Especially when I look in the mirror. Anyway, on the good side of things, really good side of things, I figured out how to get my licensing to do this. Oh man, it was such a pain in the neck. I learned a very valuable lesson in that. You have to sit there and even though the CORE's website is very clunky and very difficult to work with, I'll have to sit there and have a little patience. And the night before, I tell you what, I was on it for an hour and a half. I was about to slam my computer against the wall. But yep, I sat down last night and I took it step by step. And lo and behold, they took my $35, didn't even send me a thank you note or an email. So I hope I'm renewed, but I don't know. Anyway, you're doing a great job. A yeoman's job, Mr. Chicken Tender. You have a wonderful day and hello to everyone on the friendship net. All my friends, family and loved ones. You take care out there from kilo, bravo to rego. Clip that clip back. Alright, well thank you Robert. We look forward to chatting with you next Wednesday right here on the World Wide Friendship Net. And well, you're having a reasonably good day there and everything seems to be going well there for you. And Kathy's doing well on the end. We'll have to hear that and give her a big hug from us. And it did in about 30 years, a little scratch on the ears and a dog couldn't eat from all of us. You don't want to forget him. He just might bite you in the ankles. Alright, have a good day. Thanks for coming in and we're glad we could correspond back and forth by Jack's door call. We were here a while back when they were down and out, or what they call it, down, not feeling well and all that. Going through procedures and stuff. We're glad you're with us here today. Alright, well, of course, KB2RQQ. And we're just going out here to Aberdeen, Washington. The home of the late Kurt Cobain. And we're going to say hello to our friend Pappy. And K7RHD, KC7YFE of the World Wide Friendship Net. Hey, Robert, come here. Pappy, we're glad you're here. Well, that makes two of us. I'm glad I'm here too. I wouldn't have should have known because Robert stepped on me a little bit. I think he still had his house shoes on or something because it didn't hurt too bad. But anyway, I got back from all the different appointments. They've got to get all the doctors in to talk to each other to make sure everything's closer. Got a procedure coming up that's got to be taken care of in the near future. But all the doctors got to talk to each other to make sure everything's closer. So, I got a good note from them anyway. So that's a good thing. And then this weekend I think it is, yeah. They're supposed to have a little car show over walking distance from the house. So I may have to walk a little with the camera and take some pictures. Some of the cars feel a little, I think it starts about 10 in the morning and then you know with two or three or something. Yeah, I don't know. I guess hand out the awards that you'll acquire. I think it's set in a little senior newspaper that's distributed in the area. So, we'll go. Something to do anyway. They're just sitting around the house twiddling our thumbs and we're trying to figure out other things. Seeing if what I can do on the HF fans, I try to get into the noontime yet. You know, when I remember. And I've been getting into it even though it's just a G5 and RV, YA, antennae, it seems to work. I'll have a heck of a time hearing them sometimes. And it takes a little bit but we eventually make it. So, other than that I haven't got a heck of a lot. So I'm going to reach over into the little thingy and the jigger container and grab one of them boys. You know Dale, you don't have the micro-band ones that you turn the on to so we don't get everybody with the overspray. So we're just going to hold the mic down here real quick. There. Now the mic's 99.9% turn free for the next 24. Have a good one and seven RSV back to net. All right. Well, Kathy, they're going to be able to stay. And always, yeah, we always love it when we have our friends and people that we have, our common people here with us. And even the ones that are new and all that. So, with that, you have a good day, Ben. Kathy, and keep on coming back. All right, we're going to clear with N7 RSV. Now we're going to go way back up here to Alberton, or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. And we're going to say hello to our friend Bill. He is a GRZ as well as his new band, the Bill Collectors. Hi, hi. Over to you, Bill. Hi, I'm Casey. I'm a new boy on KZ. Yeah, lots of bands are going on between me and Robert and Nick. No, Nick. Happy. Happy Yookum up there up here. Alma. Hey, no, that's not the name of the band. No, they had a second audition last night and I have to contact Anna and find out if they have any more. And who they decided to go with. I'll do that. That's a good name for a band. I like that. The Bill Collectors. Well, the thing is we need another guy named Bill in the band, but that was just great to have him. It's weather right now here in Edmonton. It's a 10-cell CS high of 80. And that's 60 and 65. It makes a sunny cloud. And, oh yeah, he's in Aberdeen. That's right. Aberdeen, Washington. Never been to Aberdeen. Oh yeah, that's the, that one, yeah, that one. Well, I didn't know that. Anyway, what else? Oh, talking about call signs and getting our license. We don't have to worry about that, but yeah, I was explaining there in the text box. Oh, if anybody is talking today to Alpha Bravo 7 Delta Whiskey, I don't know that his Facebook account got hacked again. I got a message on Messenger from him. And I know it's not him because they didn't put a picture on his profile. Whereas I usually have his picture on a profile. So, anyway, he's got to change his password and let everybody know that somebody's impersonating him. Nasty people. Okay. Anyway, thanks to you for everything you do. There we go. And let's keep this net going, folks. 73L, K27L, and PCA6G are off."},{"callsign_confidence":0.99,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-14T08:15:24+00:00","id":16893,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":16892,"text":" Okay, one more time, KR4, or check correction, KN4, LBF, are you with us? This is Roy, KD7WA here in Nesco, Oregon. It's about 57 degrees, going to get up to around 65. And we've actually been pretty lucky. We've been over here on the coast for about a week now, and no rain, but that's going to change. They're talking about maybe an inch of rain. But we'll take it. It's just been great here. We really lucked out and missed all that 100-degree temperature over there. Gail, we're being in the 60s and 70s here. Yeah, and by the way, you guys in Roseburg set a record a couple days ago at 103. So I know you've been hot down there. And that don't feel bad. I tried to check in right at the start on this, and I got stepped on every one of you until I finally got in. So you just got to keep trying. So what was it, about five ahead of me? And you must have got stepped on about six times. Anyhow, we made a quick trip back to Salem yesterday. Boy, it was still warm. And Sue had physical therapy and had to go get some blood tests. And picked up some things at the house and got some tomatoes and green beans out of the garden and headed back. So anyhow, we're here until, let's see, Sunday after next. So we've got to, we're here for a couple weeks. Anyhow, that's about it from UNESCO in Oregon. 73 is to everybody. Back to that control. All right, well thank you, Cut. Thank you, Roy, for coming in and you and Sue would be safe. Of course, I get a little scratch in the ears to Lily there and dog Cookie. And you guys enjoy the time over there on the coast? Yeah, and I'm sure it's a lot cooler over there because the people over on the Handy Ham Conference, I know one guy that lives over in Florence, and it's been kind of right around the 60s and 70s. It doesn't get really hot over there on the coast, which is, you know, well, it's not, it's nothing new to me really, because the coast is going to be cooler. Because it's near the ocean, right near a bed of water, you know, a big bed of water. Salt, whatever it is. All right, Roy, have a good day. And folks, be sure to shop in tomorrow, Friday with Roy, H87WA. And he'll be more than happy to chat with you and, you know, have coffee over on a good net here. All right, then, leave them, we'll leave masculine and now we're going to swing out here, I don't know where it's at, KR4, KR4FRR. Danny, I think the mic, it must be you, the mic is yours. My name is K4FRR, I'm located in Newton Grove, North Carolina, kind of on the east coast of North Carolina, roughly. Currently in Raleigh, that's where I work at. Yeah, it has finally quit raining. Down here it has rained all week long. Told some guys yesterday, whenever I got home from work, I got us some chickens and ducks, and I went out there to feed them and they had on the life jackets, kind of to stay afloat. As you walk through the yard, it just squishes. So, it has finally quit raining, I'm happy about that, possibly going to get some more rain this afternoon. Other than that, that's about all we really got going on, I'm about to go help a guy out at work here in a minute. We do some work at the local jail and somebody's tore up one of the toilets that we have and it's got a table kind of thing mounted to the side of it, he has to weld. And he had to do that a few weeks ago and he didn't pay attention and sometimes the inmates, they'll take trash and shove it behind the toilet in a crack if they can get it in there and he ended up catching the tail on fire, so I'm going to be fire watched today. Other than that, that's about all the excitement we have. I'll send it back to Nick, JR4FRR. Alright JR4FRR, KC7YFE, thank you for coming in Danny. I hate to hear about people trying to set buildings and jails on fire, but you know, those inmates, I mean I watched a few prison shows on YouTube, like Ohio Prisons and stuff like that, and yeah, they got one in there on contraband wars and I watched that one once in a while. Yeah, those inmates, they can get pretty clever in coming up with ways of stashing, you know, both nuisance and the other contraband, like cigarettes and whatever else and other stuff. Alright, have a good day Danny, take care. We are clear with JR4FRR and I'm at the end of this round and I would like to take this moment, this next round for anybody that has not, for any newcomers or visitors, I'd like to find if there's any newcomers and visitors, this is your round to check in on. Bruce K-67YFE. Well, I was up at Oro Hall Park one day in the merry, merry month of May. Went to my surprise right before my eyes. Did a brand new HD. But I wasn't licensed yet. No. But anyway, I was up there at a summer camp for the blind and up there at Oro Hall Park. I had to go and make a little bit of a smile on someone's face, you know, with that. But that little merry-merry month of May, walking through the park, back to what I was talking about. And one day I was up there at camp. It was about the very first year I went up there and I saw a big HF station. But I thought it was a CD at first. Well, yeah, I was into CD for a little bit. About 95 anyway. But it was OK. But I thought I'd try to get to start studying for my ham ticket about probably 90s, about right around 96 or so. I think it was 96 or something like that when I ran into that one guy that was up there at the camp with a two-meter handheld. It was one of them HGX 202s. And a matter of fact, that was actually my first rig, was a 202 from Realistic, a Radio Shack brand. But yeah, but really, I got my license in 97. And it was the same here that I got my third and last guide dog I had. So while I was in training, I had received my ticket and my call. Well, first it started out as XFE. But then, you know, is it either XFE or is it YFE? Which one do I do with here? Man, come on, dude. But it finally is YFE, and it's stuck with me ever since. And I started studying. Let me grab a nickel here. It just so happened I got my technician license in 97. So I skipped over the novice and the Tech Plus because I think they were pretty much one and the same. I think they were anywhere from five to 13 words a minute or so. But started studying the code and got 13 words a minute general license and then kept on going, gotten my advanced. And right around 1998, I got my extra. So I took a year of hard studying. So that's where I'm at right now. I should get back into my Morse code and get back into AHF a little more than what, you know. I'm starting to get back into that too. So and working with, got to start working with this DMR too. So anyway, it's a fun hobby, and I enjoy it. So with that, the CHA5SSR Net Control and the group, KC7YFE, thank you for having me in here. And let's keep coming back to the litter box lounge, folks. Well, that's right. You never know what you're going to get in the litter box. A bunch of people scratching around. Hi, hi. But thank you, Dale, KC7YFE. And that was quite an interesting story. I had no idea. So sounds like you really have come a long way. And we sure appreciate you, Dale. You will hear Dale. You will hear Dale. All right, it's time to start the 73 round. Probably maybe about halfway through you will call to see if anyone wants to join. KM0UUB73 over to you, Graham, if you're still there."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-08-23T07:04:45+00:00","id":22266,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":22265,"text":" Net control, here's Kilo Charlie 7, Yankee Fox Echo, Kilo Charlie 7, Yankee Fox Echo. We have 8E7MR and we have REACH-UPS from KD7WA and KC7YFE. And I will close with just a brief statement as well. So let's pick it up with Mr. Terry, 8E7MR in Junction City, Oregon, about an hour south of me. Good morning to you. The microphone is yours. Thanks for watching. I'll see you in the next video. Bye."}]}
