KC7THD, I go on ITEC here. Yeah, Joyce, you sure ruined the trip. That was our last drone flight. I never did fly the drone again, really. That second day, I had I think four missions or something to fly along the cliffs up there way outside the city limits. They were all planned missions out about a mile from where I was. This was a long time ago now. But anyway, we had flown the day before I think three missions and I had taken another four missions all planned, batteries all charged. She was just coming out of the motel, going to head for breakfast and tears flat right in front of me. Right in front of me. I was sitting there with the car idling, ready to go, but I was all belded in. There was no way I could catch her. It was all in slow motion in my mind and she was in terrible pain. I said, I'm going to transport you to the hospital no matter where you're at. I had that I think left over from my really active jeeping days. Believe it or not, it was to expire the next day. I mean, it's a one year sort of thing. It was to expire the next day. I happened to see that in my wallet and reactivated that and called up. They covered all the nurses and the ambulances, everything all the way from Sedona clear over to South Phoenix at the hospital down there. We didn't pay a penny. I don't know what that would have cost, probably $20,000 or so. Anyway, that was well spent. I've still got that NRA, EA Plus, even though I don't think I'll ever use it. But anyway, that's what's going on here, gang. Oh, yeah, I've got a couple of broken bones. I was climbing in the white tanks and jumping over boulders up there in West Phoenix way outside in the boonies called the White Tank Mountains. Jumping from one boulder to the other in a huge boulder field out there trying to get to some cliffs I wanted to climb. A boulder about the size of my jeep, balanced, and it moved underneath me a little bit. I was on the thing and I was using it for a springboard to the next boulder and it moved. Holy mackerel, it almost fell down in a five foot crack between both of the boulders. I slammed my wrist into another rock and kept me from falling down in there and getting maybe crushed by the boulders. So anyway, it broke my wrist. I had a five speed jeep manual transmission. I had to drive it like 50 miles back home with a broken wrist. Anyway, back in that control. KC7THD and we're doing pretty good. Like Joyce says, we're sitting out here on the porch again and it's really nice. The humidity is way down and the air is kind of dry compared to the humidity we've had the last couple of days. Partly sun and partly shade but there's not a cloud in the sky. It's just absolutely gorgeous here in the valley of the sun. When you can't check in, I have a simple solution where nobody will have any problems checking in. You just keep calling and finally until there's nobody there and you leave a 10 second dead airspace once around and everybody that wants to check in will get checked in. To prove that everybody's there, a 10 second dead airspace calling for check-ins and nobody's there just once around a whole 10 seconds. It works every time it's been tried. Anyway, on this holiday, Joyce and I should be up there with the Jeep and the cinders but there's 50 square miles of cinders and pine trees up in there. It's craters, big craters like Sunset Crater. Well it's right next to Sunset Crater National Monument and it's just really an experience up there. We Jeeped those big cinders, craters and everything at night. We have night runs. You could easily get lost in there and everything. Oh man, it's just an exciting time. We've been up there many, many years in the Jeep with the Creepy Trawlers Jeep Club and there's all kinds of other Jeep clubs up in there. And pretty good size bonfires with the clubs depending on the size of the clubs so everybody can sit around the ring of the campfire at night. And it was just a delightful time. Let's see, there was one other thing but I keep forgetting. What was it? Oh well. I'll remember soon as I unkey kids so I won't delay. Anyway, back in that control. KC7GHC. I walked in water in the driveway and I got my shoes wet before I realized, hey, I'm one inch deep in water. I had to walk across one of the grass berms in order to get out to the street. So it must have rained. I thought we got flash irrigation or something, but the driveway was full, but the grass. I measured 2.05 inches in the rain gauges now. But mainly, can you guys remember back to dial-up service? Well that's what I was doing way back when was dial-up and of course now I've got, well we had CenturyLink hard-wired through the bridle pass out there, two or three miles of underground twisted pair that were getting broken all the time for 54 years. Last year we did a negative CenturyLink, completely got rid of that underground twisted pair and went with AT&T 5G over the air and that's working pretty good. So that's, the whole thing comes in now streaming and I've got the big display on the wall that we use for the TV and display. We got that hooked to the main computer through an HDMI cable and remote control of the mouse and the keyboard and all of that and so we default to a web browser that brings up FoxNews.com and occasionally CNN.com for comparison and we get everything over there, all the streaming everything right at our tiptoes under the mouse and the wireless keyboard controls there sitting in our easy chairs. Anyway, I was just wondering how much gabapentin you taking Robert? I'm taking 300 milligrams and I don't think it does any help at all but I don't know. Anyway, I'm just kinda curious whether I'm taking capsules and I don't know if you guys are getting a shot or what. I know somebody out there said that really helps them but I can't tell. It's kinda taken over a little bit to the point where I had to really get after it today. So within two or three days it'll be crystal clear again I think. But chlorine won't kill mustard algae. So I put as much chlorine in there and it just doesn't do it. And you can't really tell that it's mustard algae. It's kinda a real pale shade of green. Well instead of being crystal clear and blue it's a little bluish green and that's the sign that something's going wrong. My first operation, there was no question I needed an operation. I couldn't move my leg. It was totally dead, my right leg. And then after that, the second operation didn't do much. It lasted six months. And so now I'm just getting by with it every morning, staying active as best I can. I get in the mail, taking care of the pump. I had quite a hassle with the O-ring on the pump filter. And finally figured out the best way to clean that O-ring, so little bits, tiny bits of sand you can't hardly see were causing the problem of it sucking air, sucking just enough air you couldn't see it, but you could hear it. I wanted to tell Missy something so I've got the key here right now and Missy I'll tell you really quick a way to check the flow out of the oxygen machine and to find out whether it's really oxygen or not. If you put it under water, the hose under water and take a one liter bottle full of water and hold it under water, bubble the air into it as it fills the bottle upside down and time it. You'll get the actual flow out of the machine and then the other thing is you can just fill a container like that with oxygen and definitely have somebody with sight to match in it and the match will be consumed immediately if it's oxygen. Back to neck control there, our KC7GHC."},{"callsign_confidence":1.0,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-10-16T07:46:17+00:00","id":61680,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":61679,"text":" Good morning there gang, KC7GHC going high tech here. Yeah, the pools down to 70 degrees I checked this morning in the dark while I was out there playing around, doing stuff. And it's too cold to go outside for us. I'm still in shorts and everything so we're thinking about putting on long pants. But we're in the house with two windows open, one of these pins in the house opened about two inches long. And so, yeah we're going to be back out on the porch I guess. But maybe not for the net, this is pretty early in the morning in the winter time. So anyway, back to the net there, good to hear everybody. KC7GHC. We've got KC7LRS and KC7GHC, G.A.C.C. Joe. If my braille machine will work here. VE4Y, YL, Rosie, and KI7BR, Barbara, and KT7JLE. Alright, so let's go ahead and start at the top here with our lovebirds, KC7LRS and KC7GHC. Joyce and Joe, good morning to you both."},{"callsign_confidence":0.94,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-10-26T08:12:49+00:00","id":69296,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":69295,"text":" Good morning there gang, KC7GHC going iTech here. We're still trying to, however you looked at it. And yeah, we're sitting out here on the screen porch with Rosie again. And we've got coffee and some toast. And we're just getting all primed up for Brekkie a little bit later. And the pool is 66 this morning at 4.30 or 5 o'clock when I was out doing some chores and stuff in the dark. But anyway, we do have a little coat on, that's for sure. We don't have the fan on, but you know, it's just gorgeous. Another beautiful day. Maybe 90% blue sky and 10% broken clouds. And just wall to wall sunshine. And anyway, I guess the question is where would you want to be other than where you're at right now, right now today? Well, right now today I'd like to be here. But a week ago or two weeks ago on Joyce's birthday, I would rather be with the Jeep and the camper or the motorhome. It doesn't matter whether it was the camper or the motorhome. Just Joyce and the Jeep and, well, not a tent. I guess we did that a few years too. And yeah, we had two dogs and then I had a little six foot by ten foot light utility trailer that I welded up and built. With a bar with sides two foot high so I could hold stuff to the dump. And we've had a camper, I sewed a canvas on that. We camped inside that too. That got us off the ground about two feet with lawn chairs and everything in there and then a little electric lantern. But that's what, you know, today I'd rather be right here on the old homestead but a week or two weeks ago be up camping. Anyway, back to net control. KC7 GHC and it's great having Rosie here with us this morning. Back to net. Joyce and I are sitting inside this time right now having a toast and coffee and listening to the net as you can tell. And we're doing pretty good for the way we're doing, all these medical tests and everything. Man. Anyway, but that's pretty neat because I just came in at 4.30 this morning, getting the mail and doing a little exercise, walking between the two telephone poles out there and checking everything out, going over and checking the pool and checking the skimmer and all of that in the semi-dark out there with the flashlight and of course an HT. And it's, you know, my Vegas net net is on right about that time. So anyway, we're doing, yeah we're doing, let's put it that way. Back to net, KC7GHC, going high tech, they're still trying to."}]}
