And have a little bit more news to tell you. My surgery for next Saturday is being canceled. My surgery for October is filled in. And they flew in in September. So I did September and then October. And then all done. I hope. There's no more changes. So, October, September. And I think, I think, it won't be here. I think the tower is complete. I just have to crank it up now. I got all the cable links. I got the rotor. A right direction. You know, it takes a couple of times to turn that. Yeah. To turn that rotor. To get it right. And the right security. To all the time to stop. And you got to calibrate it with the rotor and the machine. And then you got to do that with the computer. But goodness, it's like so many different calibrations. But anyway, I think the guy is all done now. So, maybe I'll try to use it. I don't know. It's what I paid all that money for. It's good money. And then I used the electric wedge just yet. Because I wanted to have you water for that. And then everything else would be done. And I got a question for Robert. If he could call me. I think I have enough time to help. I think I have enough time to help. Hold on. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven November Quebec November all star node six two two two. Good time to help. Should we continue with a report. Rebecca. I got a question for Robert. On inverters. Or DC powered supply. I'm trying to get the tightest movement on the rotor. On the crank up. I'll talk about that later. All right, that's about all I got. And not only does. Robert have an affection for you. I don't know why. You know, but I don't know we'll talk about that later. We're back up. This is DC to steal back. Thank you so much for that. That's exciting that it's finally in the last. Yeah, that's why you spent all that money. And yeah, just keep us updated on your surgeries. And, yeah, I'm glad that you're staying positive about it. Charlie and have a great weekend and I look forward to more of your work. Right now that was the end of that round and I'm going to pause for announcements. Right. Let's see here. This is Rebecca KK seven I J said, and you're listening to the PS or G nine o'clock net. We do three nets a day. 9 a.m. noon and 9 p.m. here on the W W seven PS are. Seattle, Washington. I'm actually located south of Seattle in University Place, Washington. Yeah. Check out everything PS RG at PS RG dot org PS RG dot o RG. You can become a member. You can use our remote H.S. station, which is really cool. And it's great. And what is the meaning. What else is I going to say? Oh, yeah. There are two reoccurring events every Saturday. So every Saturday there is the radio club of Tacoma has an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. And they do have a real clubhouse here in Tacoma. It's worth a drive. It's worth a visit. It's such a cool place. And it's just this real clubhouse in the middle of a neighborhood and a really cool part of Tacoma. They always have food and donuts and coffee and cokes. And there's always like pizza in the freezer and you can heat it up in the microwave and you can hang out with radio operators. And you can check out the museum. They have a museum on the top floor. Such a cool place. And so that's 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday. And also on Saturday is simplex net, which is a great way to test equipment and just to keep up radio practice. So the simplex net is in the Seattle area at 8 p.m. And the frequency is one four six five six one four six five six. And on Sunday. On Sunday. This coming Sunday, August 10th is our next Rain or Shine, which is an opportunity to hang out with a bunch of us PSRG ham radio club members. Yeah, just a bunch of ham radio operators and somebody in person could face names to faces, call signs to faces. So much fun. And this Sunday, the Rain or Shine is going to be a green lake. And it's an ice cream social. And always a bunch of dogs. And ice cream and just a whole bunch of us. It's so much fun. Green Lake by the Green Lake Cafe and boat launch. You'll see a bunch of flags and antennas and pop up tents and just come hang out, have some coffee and. Yeah, just come and hang out with us. So much fun. Rain or shine. Sunday. And Robert will be hosting the next. It's going to be great. And it will be ice cream. I scream. I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream. But anyway. Yeah. So let's carry on with the next. This is Rebecca. KK seven. I J said. R. And Internet. The C. J. And I got. No vendor to read. I'll skip my God. I'm in. Hello, Rebecca. Hi, I got you on the list. And Lisa. K. Seven. Why J? Your call sign and you're on the link. Good to hear from you. Thirty three. And I got you on the list. More stations, please. Now. And I got. And I know a. And I like that. She. Do you. Hold the big switch. She. Good night, Charlie. And I'll tell you where you. I call seven. I was. Darn. All right. I'm going to go ahead and draw a line there because I want to. For she falls asleep now that she's no longer. She's reluctantly no longer a night owl. And three. Oh, okay. Seven. I J said. Hello, Rebecca. This is in three. Oh, no. Okay. Oh, okay. Oh, okay. On a very wet. Good evening here. We had quite a bit of rain early. And the funniest story was when my brother went to take Jasper out. He hates to get any. On his head. But he had to go. You know where. So he runs. And he. And he. He. Under the carpet. The car port. He needs to go. To get outside. Peter station. I'm going to call for. And he knows what he has to do. To get to the house. And. And. It was the funniest thing. Jasper. Just keeps us laughing all the time. Anyway, I thought that was funny to tell you. And. I came to a decision tonight. Call our gas company on Monday. And see if they work with anyone around here. I. I kept seeing this. Advertisement on TV for the general. Generator. And the. $500. But I do not want my house to be. Without our. For the. Air conditioning or a freezer. In the refrigerator. Because we wouldn't know how long we would be out. So I decided it would be a good investment. To get the gas company. From where to talk to us. Gas company first. And see if they provide the generators. Or if they. No other companies that they work with. In the city or the surrounding area. Because I want to give the gas company. Order for the profane and get to take the men. Because we have a propane hot water heater in gas stove. And I really want to give. As far as the. The business for the gas. But I have to see. How we go about getting this done. So that's what I'll be doing on Monday. And that's really about. My women's club. Women's club. P. Sure. Right. P.E.O. philosophical. Educational. Organization. And then. We'd like to take money. To give him the kitty. What it would be. If we were to bake something. From scratch. So I'm going to go on. What I would. Have done if we had baked. Again. And see if I can figure out about. How much I would need to take for that. As a fun. I think that's kind of neat. And. So that's really all. I hope everybody has a great weekend. And we'll talk to you again. Rebecca. Thanks for doing such a great job. I don't know how you do it. November three. Oscar Mike Oscar. 70 degrees 88 to all. Well thank you for the kind work Elaine. I appreciate it. You know I do it because I love it. I love hosting nets. It's my favorite part about ham radio. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love the image of Jasper. Had to go to go potty. And could not get his princess toes wet. That is so funny. I. It is so funny. It's so funny when dogs don't like water. Or when they don't like water. And dogs don't like water. It is so funny when dogs don't like water. Or don't like to get wet. Ugh. Andy. It is like you are just dumping acid on her head. Oh she'll hold it until she just can't anymore. Oh it's so funny. I used to yeah. Just like pick her up. And then just. Oh. It's so funny. That's so funny. Thank you for sharing that story. That is hilarious. And yes have fun at your women's meeting tomorrow. Your P.E.O. Philanthropic Educational Organization. Say that ten times fast right? 33 and 88 Elaine. Have a wonderful weekend with your brother. And all of your animals. Alright next on the list is Lisa. On Echolink. 33 Lisa. KC7BYJ. KK7IJZ. Hey there Joel. Yes good evening. And yes I get to hear Elaine's voice. And the Jasper story is funny. And as far as dropping acid on Jasper's head. She wouldn't like that either because it is also a liquid. So there you go. But as far as P.E.O. I had an elder friend who was a member of P.E.O. And it sounds like a good organization. As far as I don't know if JSM Automotive is still on the line. But congratulations. I think that's a really good argument for continuing to write paper checks. Because now you can deposit it remotely. And then you can put the canceled check on your wall. Instead of if somebody gives you a hundred dollar bill as your first payment. Then if you're going to put that on the wall it doesn't work as well. And but so as far as all of our friends in who own homes or have reasonable landlords. And live in dark roofed places. I'd say look into using reflective paint on your roof. And it should drop the temperature a bit. So that is my suggestion for evening. And as far as date night. What is the phenomenon of which you speak date night? And what time is the circle on Sunday? And I think I will try to go. GC7 BYJ. Thanks for running the net. Aww Lisa. So yeah JSM Automotive. Yeah Robert and Cami just started a business. Which is amazing. And so all of the things. Date night. So Friday night they always have. It's their designated date night. So JSM and RAB. Cami and Robert. Friday evening is date night. So I always try and bring attention to that. Because I think that's awesome. If they could do that. They make time for date night. And they'll be there on Sunday. And I can either text you or email you the information about the Ice Cream Social. I know that everyone will be happy to see you there. It's been a long time. Lisa it's so good to hear you. Don't be afraid of Echo Link. Please come in and join the nets. I love hearing from you. 33 and all the numbers Lisa. KC7 BYJ. KK79 JZ. And next we had an I.O. from Cody. And we had a good night. Good evening from Charlie. That's the end of that list. So I'll go ahead and do last call. Last call for the 9 p.m. social net. Last call. TJ7 Victor Echo Uniform. Mike. Hey Mike. Got you on the list. More stations please. K9 MLR Megan and K9 DDC Brooks. K4 FLY Jason with an I.O. Thanks for your I.O. Jason. I appreciate it. More stations please. This is last call. I am Brian, KA7KZH. This is the 9 o'clock on the Puget Sound Repeater Group repeater in Seattle, Washington. Let's go ahead and get our first report here of the night. Ann, how are you tonight? KA9EHB, please give us a report. Well, this is KA9EHB. Good evening to everybody on the net. As hard as I tried to do nothing today, I ended up playing through all my Christmas carols and finally deciding on what I swear, absolutely swear, is the final list that now has one non-seasonal piece per each set of 12. And so that's cool. And so I think I'm happy with it now. It leaves a little more practice, but that's not too bad. So in spite of my attempt to do absolutely nothing this afternoon, I did actually write and I did actually do the playing of the Christmas practicing. And that's about it. Got to listen to my dear sweet husband, all the names in the genealogy of Noah. That's always fun. He gave me a gift. He read the whole nine chapters of First Chronicles and it's absolutely gorgeous. Someday I have to get a tape recorder and get a recording of him reading that. I love the genealogy. So anyway, that's about all the news that is news. 73, 33, 88. All the numbers. Thanks to Brian for running the net. Thanks to all of you for listening. This is KA9. I love you all. This is KA98. Be my connect. Well, despite your attempts to do nothing, it sounds like you were quite productive there. So I'll be curious in a future report what the non-seasonal ones are within those Christmas carols there. But hey, very good. Never too late to get those lists going for sure. So happy harping and very cool of your husband there. Yeah, get a recording of it. So all right. Thanks for that check in there, Ann. Have a great night and we'll catch you down the lot here. All right. Up next on the nine o'clock net is going to be Lisa. How are you doing tonight? KC7BYJ. Please give us a report. Well, good evening to you and all. I want to echo link. I had intended to get onto a new valve phone, a 5R, but I, you know, headed off to a lonely place to do a little bit of wood setting with a very beginner trumpet person. And so I don't want other people to be subjected to my practice. And so brought along the radio and figured, OK, well, just program in the numbers and wait. No, it's about fun. It's not so easy. So I went to echo link. I was at the Rainer sign today and also, you know, the wedding celebrations or marriage celebration, I guess, more accurately for Megan and my brain is not working and maybe the other half. And well, unless you count the dogs and then there's lots of pieces. But it was lovely and I was expecting it was going to be really hot, but they had an area that was surrounded on kind of a U-shaped surrounded by tall trees, everything but the north. So we were cool the whole day. I was astonished and it was wonderful. So that's what I've got for you. And also, many thanks to you, Brian, for taking the in-outs first. That makes such a big difference. OK, KC7BYJ, neck to neck. Hey, good stuff. Guess it was Megan, K9MLR and Brooks, K9TC, who you were thinking of there. Also very, very cool. Thanks for the report on that. I was not able to make it out today, but I'm hoping to get some good ice cream reports and Megan and Brooks reports today. So keep them coming, keep them coming. So glad you're able to practice that trumpet and a good on you for not subjecting others listening to it. Big violinist myself, I even try to make sure I put on that practice mute so I'm not super annoying to everyone. It kind of dampens the sound quite a bit there. So good stuff there. Thank you so much for stopping by tonight, Lisa, with that report. We'll catch you down the log here. All right. We have two more on this round. Next up, James, how are you doing tonight? And thanks for coming back with your call. I think at least three times. Whiskey eight, whiskey, whiskey, please give us a report. Metcalfe, W8WW, good evening. As a matter of fact, I literally just walked in the house. Not much to report here. Had a, what they call it a solar generator. I call it a battery power box, whatever you want to call it, or an inverter. Had a, one about the size of a large lunch box. And even though it's slightly disappointed on its size, if it puts out what it needs to, I'll be happy. So we'll leave it at that. Back to neck control, W8WW. Very good stuff there, James. I think you echo my sentiment. I've gone off on a rant, maybe not on the air, but I don't like that they call those generators because in my mind, they don't generate anything. They store electricity. It is a big battery. And even though they're designed to be charged off of solar panel, you don't have to charge them that way. They can be charged any which way, off your car alternator or the AC on the wall. And I, it's, I'm just going to rant for a second. It's annoying that you go to Home Depot or go on their website and type in the word generator and all these batteries show up. And it's like, that's not a generator. I digress. I digress. Anyway, I hope it does work out for you. I've got a big EcoFlow lunch. I can even, I daisy changed their 400 watt solar panel. It'd be a lot of fun there. So yeah, I hope it all works out for you. Let us know how it goes and we'll catch you down the log. They're glad you made it home safe there, James. And last on this go around, Charlie, good to see you at the meeting yesterday online. KC2STO, please give us a report."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-09-19T21:54:19+00:00","id":42296,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":42295,"text":" Yeah, I definitely recommend it. It's breathtaking and also it's a beautiful, beautiful memorial. It's really, yeah, just a beautiful memorial. So, yeah, I recommend it and also do whatever you want. Say I want it up. That's going to be awesome. That's so fun. Well, yeah, you two have a wonderful weekend on Bainbridge and I know Lisa, oh gosh, Lisa's call sign. She's from Bainbridge. She lives there and her call sign is KJ. Come on Rebecca. I'm going to think of it. Here we go. Here I go. Call sign. Actually, I'm going to look it up. Look at me. There's no such thing as dead air. Aha, KC7BYJ. Lisa. Yes. She is a wonderful ambassador. She lives there on Bainbridge Island and she gave me a tour once. She's amazing. I don't know why I just spent all that time looking for a call sign, but she's an amazing ham and I think that she is wonderful. So Bainbridge. Yes. You two have fun. 7-3 and all the numbers. Also, Jeff. All right. That was the end of that list. I'm going to go ahead and pause for announcements. Okay. I think that my dog is trying to eat a pillow. I don't think that means she's hungry. Okay. I guess that's a good announcement. My dog is hungry. Announcement number one, my dog is hungry. Come on, Andy. Come on. All right. Here I go. Down the stairs. Announcement number two, often down the stairs. Yeah. So as far as announcements go, you're listening to the social net on the PSRG Repeater System. This is Rebecca, KK7IJZ. And as an announcement, check out PSRG.org. That's PSRG.org to find events to consider and consider ham radio and ham radio adjacent events, of course. And I guess the first announcement really is this weekend. Not only is it Jeff's birthday and see one day, but it is salmon run weekend. And salmon run weekend is just a fun, easy breezy contest. It is a QRP contest. No digital modes at all. Single sideband heavy contest. It's also a huge fundraising weekend for the Radio Club of Tacoma. So it's a fun weekend to, if you have any inclination to visit the Radio Club of Tacoma, I would come out and see how crazy they get. All of those crazy kids at the Radio Club of Tacoma just doing salmon run. And yeah, but there are all these grids that people are looking for. So if anybody is on Orcas Island, crank that radio up because there are grid squares out there that people are hungry for. So yeah, this weekend salmon run and the, oh my gosh, Rebecca."},{"callsign_confidence":0.98,"confidence":0.7686673094119345,"created_at":"2026-06-27T21:04:50.965226+00:00","id":127278,"node_number":"683210","recording_id":127286,"text":"I know sometimes you echo link stations can't get through if our repeaters keyed up and it'll stay up a good eight seconds before it goes down. The photoscope shows 255 on Cougar Mountain, and your audio is great, so your setup is working really well for you. Yeah, it does feel a little bit like morning. I mean, when you wake up and it's kind of gray and drippy sounding, it's like, is it morning? Is it afternoon? I don't know, I guess I should get up and have something to eat. So, glad you're up and about, and indeed it is 12.08 here in Seattle. So, have a good day, and let us know how it goes with your antenna setup for HF. We'll be interested in keeping track on that. Checking you on QRZ here, Gene. Concho, Arizona. I'll flip that up. I spent some time in Arizona, but I don't think I've been through Concho. Yeah, so your transmission was clean, so it's probably something on the receiver side of your RF there. So again, check us out at psrg.org. There's information there on checking in directly through Echolink or All Star, if you happen to have an All Star note. Have a good day then, and come back and check with us again. We love visitors from all over the country. All right, after that we had KC7BYJ, Lisa as an I.O. Let's see if we've got any more stations coming in. It is 9.50 a.m. PSRG net here in Seattle. I'm right now driving over to memorial service for my youngest brother. So it's going to be a very small gathering, mainly, you know, the buddies from his high school and stuff, and some family friends. But it'll be super small and kind of casual, well not casual, but you know what I mean. Anyway, so on the other hand though, I need to figure out a Halloween costume because I'm in a community choir. And so on Tuesday they want us to all be in costume with a little contest. So I'm trying to figure out what I can do with that. Suggestions for something that doesn't require a lot of money or whatever are welcome. Actually though, I've got a short horizon because I will soon be at my destination. So I'll just leave it there.
