So I used to use it but I haven't for a good 10 years. I haven't really tried it on my blind shell. It might be a little tedious. So I've kind of given up on it but I can tell you I think I at least have a few thousand which a lot of them came from nets and HF. A good majority of your lookups will come from nets. There used to be a glitch and I don't know if they fixed it but I've noticed that with the Toronto Aries this would happen. Whenever they would refresh one when they're on the page looking up the calls it bumps that person to one and each time you hit refresh it bumps them up again and again. But what they're doing as well, so that's one way to do it. I discovered that. But what I also discovered is when they were constantly, when you used to check in the Toronto Aries it would, the site, the Aries site would automatically pull up QRZ which would bump you up yet again. So I think the first few hundred is them, is Toronto Aries. And then eventually I told Joe, because we had no idea what they were doing, Joe ended up being on the fritz and having serious beef, Joe VE3OV. So I told him at one point I said I'll hand you my... So we've never been friends since. But anyway so that's the status there. Then I think the others, like a good majority would be your net and then HF but... Each time... When you're checking into those nets, each time that they do the QRZ, because they automatically on some of the databases will pull up QRZ right away when you put your call in. So each time they're doing that they're bumping you up again. And then... I mean you would have your individual DX looking you up but they're not going to do it all day, right? They'll look you up once to... Probably while you're calling DX or while you're calling them and you throw your call, sometimes they pacify you by asking you for your call again. So they could be just as quick as what they want to do you understand, is they want to come back to you with your name. So like they've known you for years. So in order to affect that when you talk to DX they'll say, again please? And then they might throw out another again please. And then by then they might have it. Sometimes they're really fast. And depending on conditions if they hear you calling they already got your name. And then as they're doing that they're bumping you up one. So if they fix that, well that's good but they haven't fixed the accessibility of it so... They could get the NUTs. Alright, back to you Daryl, I'll be here though."},{"callsign_confidence":0.85,"confidence":null,"created_at":"2025-10-10T05:41:16+00:00","id":56952,"node_number":"oldsys","recording_id":56951,"text":" Yeah, I was like trying to figure that out. I had to remove a, there was a light that was in the ground lighting up a sign and it was, they had cemented in a sonotube. And I dug around that and pulled it out and made a trench and buried some conduit and put in an outdoor box, quasit box. And that's a lot of back breaking work there. So I'm pretty sore. Today is my first day back at work after 41 days worth of weekend and got a lot accomplished around the house, prepping for winter, took care of all my firewood, got rid of four trees that need to come down before the ice and stuff showed up, wife's got a new garden shed to keep all her tools and gardening stuff in and the lernatorium, the tribander is back on its home on top of the tower. I've updated my QRZ page, you can see some of the pictures from the process of putting that puppy up and the man lifts are in high demand in my area for some reason and I can only get a 45 footer so I had to do the old school climb the tower the last 15 feet to get it up there. Son and grandson helped me in support in the bucket and on the ground so the station is coming along. Right now I'm working on the lightning grounding. I'm digging a 100 foot long trench to put my ground wire in. I have little to no topsoil. I can't get a ground rod in 20 inches let alone 8 feet so there's an old hand dug well from some of the original settlers on my property in the 1800s and the water level is a constant 30 to 35 feet below the surface. So what I'm going to do is I've got some 3-ot copper grounding cable that I'm going to run from the short grounding rod by my entrance panel past the tower, going to ground the tower and then it will go into the well so my RF ground will be in the aquifer which is just about as good as I can get. I don't have to worry about freezing and stuff like that and it's degrading during the winter months so that's what's going on there. Let me reset. And I got to tail end to Daryl's commentary on what's going on out in Portland and I respectfully disagree. It's not Trump's doing. If you look at the vast majority of the people that are being arrested for interfering with ICE doing its job and their job is to round up illegal aliens, terrorists and human traffickers. They were activated after 9-11 and the states are not cooperating which means the Democratic governors and mayors don't mind having human traffickers and drug people in their cities and when you look at the people getting arrested, the vast majority, over 80% according to what I saw, are not even from that area. They're from out of state so they're either driving in on their own or they're being trucked in. And me personally, if you want to live in a rat hole, you can live there. I've got friends that lived in the Portland area for years, Seattle, California, New York City. These places are becoming unlivable and it's the President's job to secure the country and the last administration let in millions of unknown persons and it's only going to get worse but I find it interesting that the mayor of Chicago, which is on the list of places for them to go and kind of clean up, he says there's no crime problem there. Friday and Saturday, 70 people shot in Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, all of them. Places in those cities you cannot go. And so I just respectfully disagree. It's similar to the tariff issue with Canada. Canadians say it's Trump's fault but if you look at how that started, Mr. Trump just asked Mr. Trudeau to please put a little more effort into controlling the border and a lot of illegal drugs come in through Vancouver from Asia and a lot of illegal aliens come in from Asia and he just asked Mr. Trudeau, okay, could you please work on tightening it up? All he had to do was say yes, put a little effort into it but he said no, not my problem. And so Mr. Trump said okay, we'll get your attention a different way. So it's as much Mr. Trudeau's problem and cause as it was Mr. Trump's but anyways, there you go, Mr. Gray. Wonderful day in New York, sun's out, leaves are changing, great day. That'll be each way. I'll be here for a second, go around. V01UKZ with a respectful comment. Apparently there was a circumvention of Trump's order to use California troops in Oregon. Apparently the judge was pretty pissed. My dad was just telling me just now on the phone. Apparently they did this 10 o'clock last night or something where they banned troops. Of course they banned Oregon troops first with that restraining order from going into Portland. And then Trump circumvented that order by sending in California National Guard. And apparently the judge was pretty pissed that her order was circumvented just based on wording. And she also banned California troops from being used in Oregon. So I wonder if any of you guys have heard about that. Are troops already in Oregon? Because that's what I've heard. I was watching some livestream stuff last night on Josh's recommendation. And all of this stuff is Trump's own doing. Anything I saw on those livestreams last night were centered around the ICE facility. And I look back a few days, a few days, a few days. All of those protests are centered around the ICE facility. All that, any violence or anything like that. So anybody that's saying that Portland was already violent and it needed to be done and blah blah blah. No it didn't. This is violence of Trump's own making. All this ICE stuff is of his own making. So it's not that everything was already like it was. It's since he sent ICE into these places. So it caused violence as a mechanism to create more violence. As a mechanism to create more violence to eventually turn it into a country of martial law. Is what it seems like to me.
