They wanted me, but I did fill in the three student days of last week and because I knew all the kids and it was just an easy, actually easy planning for me to do and I wanted to help them out. But they wanted me for this week and I said no. I need to be with my wife on vacation and I need to go to the printer report and I have to tell you about the new pup. And so I don't time out, I'm just going to take a break for time. Okay, well, it was two weeks ago tomorrow that we picked up the pup and she is doing great. We're very thrilled with her. She'll be ten weeks old tomorrow. Her training is going really well. Yeah, some accidents, but you know, if we're vigilant about it and watch the body language, we usually can make it. So the nights are getting better and that's all good. So we've been just enjoying some time this week together and enjoying a new puppy. And I have to tell you that the puppy and Cairo are becoming very good friends and they play together very well most of the time and they actually seek each other out and look for each other. It's just a private, it's on private land actually but I know the owner and so he doesn't mind that I walk the dog on it. But it's just a trail he made that he cut his own firewood on and that kind of thing. We've got a couple of of the rails, the trails, things nearby. One of them is about an hour and a half away. We actually ride our ATV on it. We've done it a couple of times and it's 87 miles long and it's an old rail bed and it's it's really fun. We have to trailer the ATV to a certain point and then we ride to one end of it and spend the night in the hotel and then we ride the next day back. It's a nice fall trip but there's another shorter one kind of in the other direction that we'd like to try that would be a nice day trip without getting involved with overnight. So those are pleasant places to ride for sure. So we are going to enjoy tomorrow and it's supposed to be a pretty good day and we will go with friends again. I always like to go with another one in case we end up like we did before. We are continuing with that but my wife Sandra is looking at trying to do some training to get this dog to be a certified therapy dog. She works in a skilled care facility and there are therapy dogs that come in all the time there and the patients and residents really like it. And so she would like to be able to do that and take the dog to work once a week or once every other week at least a part of the day. So that's our goal and I think it will benefit because we'll have a well-behaved dog out of it eventually. So that's our plan. Anyway, back to you Graham. And they, for the most part, sit together and look for each other. And it's just wonderful. Just a great thing. We had last weekend a beautiful ATV ride through the main foliage. And then earlier this week, we had rain and wind and almost all of our leaves are down. And it's kind of bare around here now. And that usually happens, unfortunately. And then we have a harness on her where she's kind of seat-belted in so that there's no danger of her slipping or falling off the seat if we should stop suddenly or hit a bump or anything like that. So, yeah, she's learning early on, and that's good because, you know, we like to ride and we like to do a lot of that. And, you know, we like to take her with us. And so she's part of the family, and we like to just have her with us and she enjoyed it. Our last dog did as well, so we enjoy doing that. We're not in that zone, we're a little bit too far north, so we were going to get slurries. Now they've upped the totals to one to three inches, looks like we might get our white Christmas after all but barely here. I'm just kind of worried that it will follow up travel tomorrow for my daughter and her fiance. I know it's supposed to be over midday so hopefully they're a little over two hours away so hopefully it won't be, it won't hold them up too much. I hope if anything it will only make them arrive a little later than they had planned on but we'll have to see and keep our fingers crossed. I want everyone to stay safe though. So I've been wrapping Christmas presents and I've discovered that it's a challenge with a six-month-old puppy. She ran off with my tape and she wants to play with the paper and she even tried to run off with a roll of paper and this is her first Christmas so she She doesn't know what to think of all this. All you have to do is laugh. I can't help it, it's funny. But I'm progressing, so that's a good thing. Now if I can get her to leave them alone. She doesn't do much with the trees, that's good.
